Brian took a step closer to her, “I didn’t know, Brigitte. So, you’re not in love with me?”

“Well…apparently you don’t love me either.”

“I just broke the heart of the woman I love because I’d made a commitment to you.”

Brigitte whipped around, “I knew you were in love with her. I could tell the moment I met her the first time.”

“I’m sorry. You don’t deserve this and I never meant to hurt you but I love her.”

“I can’t believe I’m saying this. I like you a lot and I’ll definitely miss the sex, but if you truly love her, then you shouldn’t be here with me.”

Brian was surprised that Brigitte was being so reasonable. He kissed on the cheek before walking over to grab his duffle bag, “Thank you.” And walked out of the door.

Although she put on a front that Brian leaving her was no big deal…it was. Brigitte didn’t take rejection well. No, she didn’t love him but he left her for a woman who thought couture was a pair of sweatpants.

When Dr. Sheitz wanted her to get close to Brian after seeing his pictures in the tabloids with Jessie, Brigitte couldn’t imagine that she would be in this situation or in this compound. Brian breaking it off with her stung her pride but his guilt over his treatment of her put Brigitte in a much better position.

Who knew how long they would be holed up in this god-forsaken place, but she was going get as much information as she could.

Chapter 25

Brian knocked on Jessie’s door. He didn’t get an answer. He knocked again but harder. Brian’s heart was beating so fast. Jessie slowly opened the door. She’d changed into shorts and t-shirt. Everything he’d ever wanted was standing right in front of him.

He looked deeply into her eyes, “I ended it with Brigitte. I love you, too.”

Jessie couldn’t move. Was she dreaming? She’d been dying to hear those words from him for so long.

Brian leaned into her and captured her mouth in a soul-stirring kiss. After a few moments, her body responded and her arms reached up to hold him. He swept her into his arms and kicked the door closed behind him.

“I think it’s time I make love to you. We’ve waited long enough.”

Brian gently laid her down on the bed and pulled her t-shirt over her head and threw it somewhere in the room. Then he tossed his shirt, too. He couldn’t take her shorts off fast enough but finally managed to push them all the way off her body.

Jessie’s hands were pretty busy, too. Just as he was trying to take her shorts off she was trying to push his pants down. She was only halfway successful so Brian pushed them off the rest of the way. When they made it to his ankles, he kicked them aside. They were completely naked.

He’d only been gone for about an hour but her body was still ready for him, and he was definitely ready for her. Brian could smell their sex in the air. If it were possible to get any harder, looking at her beautiful body did it. She was amazing, and he couldn’t help but touch her. She was firm everywhere she needed to be and soft in all the other special places. Yes, he easily picked up where they left off.

Her pupils were completely dilated from the high of making love to him. Jessie’s body was laid out before him like an offering to the gods. Her legs were parted and he could see what he’d craved so much glistening for him. If Brian didn’t kiss her there he thought he would die. He dropped to his knees next to the bed and threw both of her legs over his shoulders. Seconds later his lips touched her in the place she’d been dying for him to touch. He kissed her there before slowly licking her between her folds. He licked her slowly up one side and then slowly down the other. When he got to her opening Brian went as far as he could go. Her body tightened around his tongue as he pumped and swirled it within her opening. Jessie’s soft cries and writhing was almost Brian’s undoing. He had wanted this for so long that he wasn’t going to rush. He slowly pulled his tongue almost all the way out before thrusting it back into her again. Jessie threw her head back against the pillows. His mouth was making such passionate love to her that she thought it might be possible to die from sensation overload.

Jessie held onto his head tightly and ground her body into his mouth. Her body was building toward an organism that just might kill her. Brian could tell she was close so he picked up his rhythm and used his finger to rub on that tight little bud before pulling it into his mouth.

Seconds later, Jessie exploded and continued to explode as her walls pulsed and clenched around his tongue. She saw fireworks behind her eyelids. As incredible as that was, Jessie’s body still wasn’t satisfied. She still yearned to feel Brian deep inside of her.

He kissed her there one last time as he felt her pulsing start to lessen. Then he kissed her stomach as he licked his way back up her body. Their lips connected for more kisses. This time Jessie could taste her essence on his tongue.

Brian crawled up on top of Jessie as she opened her legs wide to accommodate his body. Jessie moved a hand out to hold him. She held him in her hands and rubbed the head of his shaft against her still dripping wet vaginal lips.

“I want you so much Jessie.” He whispered into her ear and then moved her hands away so that he could position his shaft at her opening. Jessie had dreamed of this for so long that she grabbed his hip to urge him on. She ground into him and this time there were no barriers. All he needed to do was thrust in a little bit and he’d be inside touching a little bit of heaven.

Jessie was breathless and could barely speak. “I can’t wait any longer Brian…please make love to me.” He thrust so deeply into Jessie; the pleasure for both of them was insane. It had been so long since Jessie had made love and she was so tight. Brian wanted to go slow but her walls held onto him too tightly. He promised himself he’d be gentler for round two.

Even though the world was going to hell outside everything couldn’t be more perfect between Jessie and Brian.

Far away in Pakistan, Dr. Sheitz was in the Amuruhana bunker watching Armageddon play out on the monitors as he and his allies celebrated and sipped their glasses of champagne. He never thought this day would ever come. It had been nine long years but it was finally here. Once the widespread destruction was complete, the people who survived would be clamoring for his leadership.

The Council thought they’d destroyed everyone associated with the Amuruhana, but they were sadly mistaken. Now that he had assets in the MEGA-AX1 organization, he was apt and ready to kill two birds with one stone, but first he had to find the Amuru.

Once found, he would bring down the legendary Kyoshe, the almighty Council, and the infamous Command; that woman had set their mission back nine years and for that…she would pay.

Jessie was in the nursery after putting the girls down for the night. She stood in semi-darkness with just the glow from the night light to illuminate the room.

It gave her such immense pleasure to watch her daughters sleep. They seemed so peaceful resting in their cribs. Jessie had no idea how much a person could love another until Adrienne and Adrianna Ramsey were born. The girls were such an amazing blessing to both her and Antonio.

She was exhausted from the day but couldn’t wait to see him. Antonio had called to say he was on his way home from working another double shift at the natural gas plant. Jessie hated that he worked so much overtime but she understood he did it for their family. As much as she missed him, Jessie was still thankful because Lord knew they could use the extra money. The bill collectors were getting more and more aggressive.

She spoke to herself, “There are always more bills than money but we’ll figure it out.” Then she whispered to the girls, “We promise. As long as we’re together that’s all that matters.”

Jessie pulled the door up half-way and took the baby monitor with her into the bathroom. She turned on the shower and got inside hoping to relax a little. It was hard to turn her mind off.

She finally had to admit that there was a real chance they could lose her childhood home her grandmother gave her after her death.

Jessie was going to try and talk to Antonio again about going back to work. He was adamant that he didn’t want Jessie working especially since the girls were only five months old. She’d known Antonio almost all of her life and knew that when he was dead set against something, it was usually impossible to change his mind.

As the bathroom steamed up and the hot water cascaded down her body, Jessie closed her eyes. The only images in her head were those of Antonio caressing her all over her body.

It was late when Antonio walked into the house. He knew Jessie and the girls would probably be upstairs sleeping. He’d called earlier to tell her not to wait up. Antonio smiled when he saw that Jessie left his dinner on the stove with a note on his napkin, “I love you.”

Jessie and the girls were everything to him. That was why he worked so hard. Antonio didn’t even try to hide that his wife and daughters had him wrapped around their fingers.

Antonio put his plate in the refrigerator. He’d have it for breakfast. All he wanted right now was get into bed and wrap his arms around his wife. He’d missed her.

Antonio took the stairs two at a time. He walked into the nursery first and peeked in on Adrienne and Adrianna. He stood there for a moment just watching the rise and fall of their chests as they slept. After a few moments, Antonio bent over to kiss them on their chubby little cheeks. It was still hard to believe he was a dad.

As he left the nursery, Antonio pulled the door up half-way and walked out.

It was dark in his bedroom except for the moon light shining through the window. He could only make out the outline of Jessie’s body. He wouldn’t wake her up, but he was dying to just hold her. However, he’d probably better take a shower first. Otherwise, his smell might wake her up for him.

Antonio headed over to the bathroom to take a quick shower. He emerged about ten minutes later with his towel wrapped around his waist. His body was still damp from the shower.

Jessie hadn’t been sleeping but was watching his every move since he came into the bedroom. She could never get tired of looking at his broad chest and wash-board abs. His olive skin and dark hair was still wet from the shower. Antonio was probably the sexiest man she’d ever laid eyes on…and he was her husband.

Jessie watched Antonio make his way over to the armoire probably to get some pajamas.

“Hey you…whatever you think you need out of that drawer…you don’t need it.”

Antonio was just about to grab some pajamas and stopped before closing the drawer. He turned around and started walking towards the bed. He spoke in almost a whisper “I thought you were sleeping.”

Jessie’s voice was low and husky, “I’m not sleeping…I was waiting for you.”

As he made his way closer to the bed Jessie reached out and pulled his towel away from his body. It drifted to the floor.

Antonio in all his naked glory was standing next to the bed with his massive erection standing straight up. She knew he was tired from work but was happy he didn’t need any encouraging. Jessie licked her lips and inched closer to the edge of the bed. Her sheet slipped down low enough to expose her bare breast.

In this moment, he thought his wife was the most beautiful woman in the world. Her hair hung loose and wild but her eyes told the story of how hungry she was for him. That turned him on more than anything.

Jessie was so close to Antonio that she saw his member twitch just before she closed her lips around him.
