S
amuel opened the front door, calling out as soon as it slammed shut behind him. “I'm home.”

He hung his coat up and shivered as he kicked his shoes off. It was raining… again. He switched the heating up as he passed and heard the TV blaring out in the sitting room and the bath running upstairs.

“Hello! I said I'm home.”

This time Milo poked his head over the banister and smiled. “Hey. You're late. I was getting worried. How’d the cake turn out?”

“Great.” Samuel held up the plastic container in his hand. “I managed to save you two a slice from the class. You just getting in the bath?”

“Yeah. Save it for me.”

“Okay. I may come join you.”

“Bring Danny with you if you do.” Milo grinned then left for the bathroom.

Samuel made his way through the hallway and walked into the huge kitchen at the back of the house. When they’d finally got the keys three months ago, Samuel thought it was perfect, but looking around now and seeing all their own furniture and the bright yellow colour Samuel had painted the walls in, it felt even better. It was theirs.

“Daniel?”

He placed a slice of cake on a plate, licking his fingers as Daniel appeared from the sitting room and slid his arms around his waist. “Hey, Love. Hmmm, this smells good. Did you win the bake off?”

“Yep. Like I could lose.” Samuel picked up a piece of the black cherry and amaretto chocolate cake and slipped it into Daniels mouth, listening to his orgasmic groan. “Told you.”

“Oh, God.”  Daniel swallowed and opened his mouth for another piece. “Thanks,” he mumbled over his full mouth. “Did Sherry drop you off?”

“Yeah.” Samuel turned around and kissed him. “I want to learn how to drive, Danny.”

“Sure. Milo and I can take you out.”

“Do you think I’ll be any good?” Samuel smirked.

“Yeah.” Daniel didn’t sound overly confident and he got a slap around the head for it. “I dunno until I see you behind the wheel. But I'm sure between us both we can do a good job. I mean, I drive a fire truck through rush hour traffic and Milo’s had extensive training for the police, so… You’ll be fine.” Daniel thought about it. “Or we could just pay for lessons.”

Samuel chuckled, undoing his hair from the ponytail he’d placed it in before his class. “You want to get in the bath with me and Milo?”

“Yeah, can we bring the cake?”

“Erm… no. I don’t think Milo would like that. But we can bring the bottle of fizzy stuff Rekha bought us.” Samuel watched him nod then he slapped Samuel’s arse and smiled.

“You go up. I’ll bring the bottle and some glasses.”

Samuel walked up the stairs, finding their bedroom door open and the lamps on. The bedroom was beautiful. It was big, but it looked bigger because all they had in it was the bed and a TV on the wall. The bed was huge, much bigger than the last one, and they had loads of room, not that they used it. They were always curled up together.

Samuel stripped off his clothes, and stretched out his lean body. He looked at his reflection in the mirror and turned, checking out his shape. He’d put weight on, mainly on his arms and legs and they looked much healthier now. He was still slender, but he looked better. He looked healthier all over, his skin was brighter, his hair thicker and shiner. He looked at his eyes and smiled. They always shone bright blue now and they always glimmered with happiness.

“You look lovely,” Daniel said softly from the door.

“Thank you.” Samuel moved his hair around his shoulders, knowing how Daniel liked to see it floating around him as he moved. It hung so long now, touching his arse cheeks as he swayed to Daniel. “I love how you look at me.”

“That won’t ever change.” Daniel brushed his fingers through Samuel’s long mane of hair before he kissed him. “You ready for that bath?”

“Hmm.” Samuel swept his hair back and tapped Daniel’s arse. “I’ll see you in there.”

Samuel moved across the landing, letting his toes curl in the soft cream carpet underneath him. The house felt warm all the time, and the deep creams and soft fabrics made it feel cosy and comfortable. He opened the bathroom door and saw Milo floating in the tub. They’d refitted the bathroom before they moved in. They all decided bath and shower times were important to all three of them and having a bath big enough for two men their size meant a huge bath. It was actually a big square indoor jacuzzi and they could fit four people inside, not that there would be a fourth, but still, Samuel thought it was funny mentioning it.

“Hey, Princess.” Milo helped him in and smiled as Samuel settled on his lap, wrapping his arms around Milo’s neck and kissing him. “I missed you two today.”

“I know. We kept missing each other. I feel like I haven’t seen you together in ages.”

It was one of those weeks where Milo and Daniel were working opposite shifts and passed each other in the night. Samuel liked one on one time, but the time they all enjoyed the most was all three together.

“We have all weekend off now.” Milo soaped up the sponge and began washing Samuel’s back. “We could drive somewhere. Stop off for a pub lunch and do some shopping.”

“Hmmm.” Samuel moaned as Milo worked his fingers into the knots on his shoulders. “I think here is perfect. We can go out to eat, but I want to be at home this weekend. Just us three. I miss us.”

Daniel opened the door, naked with a bottle of champagne in one hand and three fancy flutes in the other. “Switch the bubbles on, Milo.”

Milo flicked a switch and the water started to swirl and bubble around them as he climbed in.

“Hot.” Daniel hissed as he sat down then panted a bit. “Here.” He handed Milo the glasses and popped the cork, all of them laughing as it bounced around the room. “Shift up.” Daniel slid in between them and rested his back on Milo before kissing him. “Hey, Gorgeous.”

“Hey.” Milo kissed him again.

Samuel took the bottle and filled all their glasses up. “What should we toast to?”

“To right now seems good. Times like this and more of them.” Daniel smiled then kissed Samuel. “How about to you? For cooking the best cake ever and winning first prize at your bake off.”

“That works for me.” Milo clinked their glasses. “There’s cake left for me, right?”

“I made sure you’ll have some, Milo.” Samuel ran his fingers through Milo’s dark chest hair. “But I can bake a new one for just us this weekend. It is really nice.”

“I like that idea.” Daniel grinned. “I love this bath.”

“Yeah, it’s the best thing we could have bought.” Milo drained his glass and Samuel refilled it.

“I love living here.” Samuel got giddy about how happy he was, but sometimes it was impossible to contain how contented he felt. “I never thought I would ever have all this. Two people who love me, a beautiful safe place to live, surrounded by friends and family. It’s more than I ever hoped I would have.”

“Me too.” Daniel laid back and let the bubbles work around his body. “If you would have told me six months ago Milo and I would be living together down from his mum and really happy, and we not only loved each other but had this sexy, blond haired, beautiful man sharing our life too, I wouldn’t have believed a word.”

“So much has changed, but all for the better.” Milo kissed Daniel softly. “We’re all lucky people to have what we have. I see so much sadness and anger out there. Coming home to you two makes life a good place. Having cake is even better.”

Samuel chuckled. “I’ll bake you a cake every day if it makes you that happy.”

“I may get fat if you do.” Milo ran his hand over Samuel’s arse before cupping it. “I love this bum.”

“Me too.” Daniel groped him. “It’s so cute and round.”

“Stop it.” Samuel laughed loudly. “Do you think I look… chunky?”

“Holy shit!” Daniel slapped his arse. “Chunky? Dear God. No! You’re skinny, just perfectly skinny. You're never going to be big, Love. You're not built for it. But this arse.” Daniel grabbed his cheek again. “I really love this arse being a bit bigger.”

“It’s us two who are putting weight on.” Milo looked at his stomach. Samuel didn’t think he’d put
that
much weight on. He’d put on a bit, but then they’d been working hard on the house and Samuel had been cooking up a storm in the new kitchen, testing out all his new recipes on both of them. “Dalton’s skinner than me now.” Milo pouted. “That can’t be right. He made fun of me. Me!”

Samuel and Daniel sniggered.

“Okay.” Samuel kissed him. “I promise to use low fat ingredients at home from now on. And smaller cakes.”

“Or…” Daniel poked Milo’s stomach. “You could just let him cook the stuff I like and not eat so much.”

“Shut up.” Milo swiped his hand from his stomach and sucked it in. “See, thin again.”

“You're perfect.” Samuel ran his fingertip down Milo’s stomach. He still had all his muscles there—he hadn’t stopped going to the gym—he just had a little extra meat on his bones now. “I like it.”

“As long as you still fancy me, I'm good.”

“How could we stop doing that?” Daniel kissed him. “You're still the sexiest thing I’ll ever see.”

“You're both sexy.” Samuel laid out over them both. “Milo, Danny said you’ll teach me how to drive.”

Milo coughed. “Really?”

“Yeah, you have all that training and stuff.” Daniel laughed.

“We can do that, I don’t mind. It will be fun.” Milo bit his lip. “We should buy a cheap car for you to learn in, not my BMW.”

“Awww. I was looking forward to driving it.” Samuel laughed at Milo’s frown.

“We’ll get a cheap one.” Milo nodded then refilled it up their glasses.

They’d been together for six months, but so much had happened, it felt like years. Knowing they had so many more in front of them filled Samuel up like helium. They had so much to do, so many things they could achieve together it made his heart feel ten times bigger in his chest.

He looked forward and saw his life with these two men. Saw them older and wiser, still madly in love. Samuel running his café, rings on their fingers and maybe a baby or two on his hip as he fussed over Daniel and Milo in the kitchen.

Life was good, but it was going to get even better.
