There’s a strange vibe coming off of him, different than normal. It’s as if he’s hiding his emotions, masking them with sex. The thought causes a chill to run through me, making me move again. He stops what he’s doing and looks up at me.

“I believe I’ve asked you
twice
to stay still,” he says, playfully scolding me, his lips twitching up into a devilish smile. Standing, he walks toward the dresser, mumbling, “If you want something done right.”

The fact that he wants to restrain me turns me on—big time. I’m already soaking wet and he’s barely touched me. But, at the same time, something feels off.

Returning with one of his t-shirts, he jumps on the bed and straddles me. Grabbing my wrists, he roughly throws them over my head and binds them with the t-shirt. “Now, keep your hands over your head or I’ll tie them down,” he states.

“Okay,” I squeak. Whatever alcohol buzz I was enjoying is long gone. I am fully alert, wondering if I should be excited or scared shitless.

“Now, where was I? Oh, yes. Your feet.” Chase repositions himself, kneeling on the floor once again, and continues his assault on my toes. I’m trying so hard to stay still, but it’s useless. I’m a squirming mess.

Chase stands up and runs his hands up my legs, stopping at the inside of my thighs. Anticipating his next move, I brace myself. Placing his hands on my knees, he spreads my legs wide and buries his head between them.

My back bows off the bed as I moan. Starting gently, he circles his tongue around my clit. His tongue is like magic, finding all the right places to make me twitch. Nipping gently, my body almost convulses from pleasure overload. Continuing his assault, he brings me closer to the edge, but right before I come, he stops. Panting, I look up at him. His demeanor has changed. He’s tense, stiff. “Chase?”

He smiles at me, but it doesn’t touch his eyes. Watching me carefully, he takes a finger and swirls it around my clit. Starting off slow, he quickens the pace and brings me right back to the edge, then slows. Writhing with need, I groan, frustrated he keeps stopping.

“This. This is mine,” he growls as he thrusts his finger inside me, rubbing that spot that drives me insane.

“Yours,” I say, emphatically. “I’m yours.”

Stroking in and out, he keeps up his torture. “Seeing you dancing with that douchebag made me so angry, I saw red,” he hisses.

“Chase—”

“I never want to feel that way again.” In and out, my orgasm just out of reach. “Promise me. Promise me I’ll never feel like that again.”

“I promise,” I squeak, barely audible. A smile spreads across his face, and just like that, he’s back.

“Good,” he breathes as his head disappears between my legs. Sucking on my clit as his fingers hit that sweet spot inside me, Chase releases me from my purgatory and I come hard.

As I return from euphoria, I see Chase gazing at me with a look of satisfaction. “That was intense,” I say, breathless.

“I know,” he smiles. “Now, it’s my turn.” Grabbing my waist, he scoots me up the bed. Following me, he hovers over my body, resting his weight on his forearms. Guiding my legs open with his knees, he positions himself at my entrance and eases in slow. “Keep those hands over your head,” he groans as he fills me.

Slowly, he rocks his hips back and forth. “Chase, faster,” I beg.

“No, baby. I need this slow.” Each steady thrust brings him incredibly deep and I start to feel that familiar tingle. Chase moans softly with each inward stroke, and my own voice mixes with his.

I am all sensation, he is everywhere. My orgasm just out of reach, I try to move my hips, spurring him on. “Patience, baby,” he whispers in my ear. “I want to make love to you.”

Placing his lips on mine, he kisses me with reverence. His lips are soft and gentle, but filled with emotion. Looking down at me, he whispers, “I love you.” My heart warms from his words, and just knowing he loves me takes me over the edge. I throw my head back and experience the most amazing orgasm I’ve ever had. He follows quietly, collapsing on top of me.

“You know, you’ve ruined me,” I say as he kisses my forehead.

“Good. Now, let me ruin you some more.”

“Wake up, sleepyhead.”

Still exhausted from last night’s shenanigans, I don’t want to move. Chase had me up until the wee hours of the morning and here he is, bright and chipper. I wasn’t complaining then, but I’m paying for it now. “No,” I moan, my eyelids refusing to open.

“C’mon. You can sleep when you’re dead.”

“Five more minutes,” I murmur into the pillow.

“Olivia, it’s almost noon. I let you sleep as long as I could. Amanda will cut off my balls if we’re not there on time.” I open one eye and peek up at him. He’s standing in front of me, wrapped in a towel, his chest sparkling with leftover water from the shower.

“No.” I turn my head and close my eyes. The bed dips as Chase lays beside me and I groan.

“Olivia,” he sings, stretching out each syllable, “wake up.” He starts to nudge me and I growl at him—not in a good way. “I’m going to annoy you until you get out of bed.”

“Go away.”

“Nope,” he says, nudging me a little harder.

“I don’t like you.”

“Yes, you do.”

“No. Right now, I like sleep better.”

“Okay,” Chase says before the bed shifts again as he gets up. I snuggle into the comforter a little deeper and start to doze off when I’m lifted and carried across the bedroom. Before I fully realize what’s going on, ice cold water is raining down on my head.

“What the fuck!” I scream, my eyes bolting open.

“I told you to get up,” Chase says, laughing as he holds me under the spray. I try to wriggle out of his grasp, but he’s too strong. “Are you awake now?”

“Yes!” I scream. “Turn off the water!” Leaning behind him, he turns the knob and the water warms. I shiver in his arms, not happy in the least.

“Let me help you out of these wet clothes,” he chuckles as he puts me down.

“No, I can do it myself,” I snap, twisting out of his arms.

“Fine,” he answers, holding his hands up in defense. “I’ll be inside when you’ve finished showering.” I watch his glorious, naked ass move out of the stall, bending to pick up his towel off the floor as walks out of the bathroom.

Dressed in sweats and a t-shirt, I walk out of the bedroom to find Chase and Justin sitting on the couch. Justin looks as if he went fifteen rounds with Mike Tyson. “Geez, Justin, what the hell happened to you?” I ask, staring at his busted lip and bruised cheek.

“I’m not sure. I don’t remember much.”

“There are a few black holes in Justin’s memory,” Chase chuckles.

“Giant black holes,” Justin reiterates.

“Well, what do you remember?” I ask as I sit down on the chair across from them.

“I remember gambling and winning at craps. I remember doing shots at the bar in the casino. That’s where it starts to get a bit fuzzy.” Justin runs both hands back and forth across the top of his head, as if to jog his memory.

“Do you remember discussing the girls?” Chase asks him.

“Not really.”

“You started to freak out, saying we needed to find them because the island was full of horny men who would drug them and fuck them in an alley.” I bark out a laugh before covering my mouth with my hand. Chase glances at me, shaking his head, and I stick my tongue out at him.

“I did?”

“Um, yeah. You ran out of the casino and chased down a cab. Nate and I had a hard time catching you.” As Justin mulls over this information, I stand from the stool and move toward the kitchen to make a pot of coffee.

“There’s coffee already made,” Chase shouts after me.

“Nope, don’t remember that,” Justin mutters. “Then what?”

“We finally caught up to you and you were rambling on about Miranda and how she was the best thing to ever happen to you.”

“No fucking way did I say that.”

“Ask Nate if you don’t believe me.”

“This is starting to get good,” I tease. Chase lifts a brow in warning.

“So, we caught a cab and headed to the one place we knew the girls would go.”

“You knew where we’d be?” I ask Chase.

“Not exactly, but both Miranda and Amanda love to dance. There were only two places you could have gone. We got lucky and found you at the first stop.”

“Go on,” I say, sipping my coffee.

“So, we get out of the cab and you take off again.”

“Shit, why don’t I remember any of this?” Justin says, rubbing a hand over his face and flinching when he hits his eye.

“I black out when I drink too much,” I offer.

“Yeah, well, I don’t. I swear someone put something in my drink.”

“Anyway,” Chase interrupts, “you ran into the club the girls happened to be in and started screaming Miranda’s name across the bar.”

“Oh, fuck.”

“Yeah. So, you spotted Miranda with some guy’s hands all over her. I was about to help you get her, when I saw this one,” he says, nodding in my direction, “having the same problem in the middle of the dance floor.” The front door opens and all eyes move to Nathan as he walks in. “Nate, you’re just in time. Boom Boom Mancini over here doesn’t remember last night.”

“Are you kidding! There was almost no wedding because of this asshole.”

“What?” Justin and Chase ask in unison.

“It’s fine now. Just know there was some drama in our house last night. I think we woke up both sets of parents between the yelling, and then the fucking.”

“Aw, really! TMI.” Justin cringes, holding his hands up to his ears. Chase just chuckles.

“Can I finish my story now?” he asks, waiting until we’re all paying attention before continuing. “So, you take off through the crowd and I head toward Olivia. I didn’t see anything after that until Olivia pointed to you pounding on that guy and asked me to do something.”

“I was right there. He was like a madman. I’ve never seen him so angry about a chick before. He grabbed the guy and started swinging,” Nate adds.

“I remember parts of that. That scumbag was all over her. He needed to be put in his place, but I don’t remember the actual punching.”

“Well, from the look of it, he got in a few good jabs,” Chase comments, making Justin rub his cheek.

“And was Miranda
pissed
,” Nathan says, whistling through his teeth. “You couldn’t understand why she was so angry.”

“That I sort of remember.”

“Dude, I didn’t think you had it in you,” Nathan says, shaking his head in disbelief.

“Had what?” Justin asks.

“You’re whipped,” Chase answers. “In all the years I’ve known you, you’ve never acted like that for a chick. Face it, you’re in love.”

“No.” Justin scrunches up his face in confusion before looking at Chase. “You think?”

“I know. I guess it was inevitable,” Nathan says with a smirk.

Chase nods in agreement. “Yup. Stick a fork in you, you’re done,” he chuckles.

“Fuck. Well, that would explain the weird things I’ve been feeling lately. Shit, she’s still not talking to me.”

“You better get over there and fix things. If this wedding doesn’t go off perfectly, Amanda will kill me,” Nathan says, pointing at Justin before directing his attention to Chase and me. “I just came by to tell Olivia to be at my place by one. There’s a hair stylist and makeup artist coming.”

“Okay,” I reply. I look over at Chase, my eyes narrowed. I could have slept another half hour and still been on time. He sees me and smiles.
Prick.

“Alright, I’ve got to go, not that I’m anxious to get back.”

“Monster-in-laws?” Justin asks. Nathan nods as he makes his way to the door.

“Yeah, it’s pretty ugly over there. I’m sure there will be a murder by the end of the day.” As Nathan opens the door, he calls back to the boys, “Just make sure you two are at my place by three.”

“I better go, too. I need to engage in peace talks.”

“Alright. I think I might need to do that as well,” Chase says, looking in my direction. “See you at three,” Chase calls after Justin as he walks out the door.

“What?” he asks all innocent.

“Don’t ‘what’ me. That was uncalled for.”

“You wouldn’t get up, so I needed to take drastic measures. It worked, didn’t it?” he says, smiling. “And, it’s almost twelve-thirty now. That doesn’t give you much time to get ready.”
