Beelzebael said to Luciferael, “Yes, my
l
ord, we shall all miss both of them, but
lord
Sammuael especially. He was a driving force behind elevating you to
become
the new Almighty. I believe that Jarahmael would have caused problems for us, though, before long.”

“We can continue that discussion after the war is won. Look down there!” Luciferael said, pointing down. “
Lord
Damiel did get my message and has taken over Sammuael's legion.”

“Wasn't
lord
Damiel guarding the Throne Room, my
l
ord?”

“Yes, he was,
lord
Beelzebael. But with all the loyal Angels having retreated to the Earth or being held captive in the lower Heavens here by our Cherubim guards, I saw no need to continue to waste another Archangel's ability just to make sure nothing happens in the Throne Room. What could possibly happen in the Throne Room that the few Cherubim guards I left in place cannot handle?” Luciferael said confidently. “The loyal Angels will be driven to their demise or capture before us and will never be able to move again up into the Heavens.”

“That may be true, my
l
ord, but I would still leave a quarter of a legion in the upper Heavens above us, just in case some of the loyal Angels get through,” Beelzebael said, slightly worried.

“Not to worry,
lord
Beelzebael, we will be through the army of loyal Angels faster than you think. They are not armed properly, and two of their leaders are missing, both Michael and Ariel. I still doubt they could have escaped back to the Earth, and are probably cowering somewhere in one of the upper Heavens here. And the loyal Angels have to be afraid of us, as we have won every encounter, displacing them right out of all their Heavens and palaces.”

As Luciferael and Beelzebael moved into their positions at the head of the lead legion, three Dominion Angels approached.

The leader of the three bowed before them and spoke. “Greetings,
l
ords Luciferael and Beelzebael. We have just returned from a scouting mission over the encampment of the loyal army at Aegyptus.”

“What did you see?” asked Luciferael.

“There are clouds moving around the planet that we had not seen before and water falling from the skies in places. Some of it as cold frozen water in the most northern and most southern regions. There are arcs of electricity that hit the Earth and destroy whatever they hit. The largest clouds create bright flashes of light and give off loud sounds
that we have named lightning and thunder. We are calling the whole phenomena thunderstorms.”

“Must be a side effect of the Almighty casting out Adam and Eve,” said Luciferael. “He was controlling the weather on the planet for their benefit. He must have decided to release
H
is controls when He cast them out.”

“Any signs of the loyal Angel armies?” Luciferael asked.

“Their legions are assembled loosely around three of the pyramids from what we could see, my
l
ord. The largest army is around the pyramid at Aegyptus, and it looks like they are preparing for something. We stayed out of the way so they would not see us. No sentries or lookouts that we could see.”

“What about the loyal Angels around the other pyramids?”

“The pyramid in O
ccidentus
had a small force and the one in Medius had a force larger than that in O
ccidentus
but smaller than the one in Aegyptus.”

“Good,” said Luciferael. “Do you think if we attacked swiftly that we would surprise them?”

“Oh yes, my
l
ord, there are large thunderstorms heading in the direction of the pyramid at Aegyptus. If we wait just a bit longer, we may be able to come out of the First Heaven and use the thunderstorm clouds as cover. That way we can surprise the largest encampment at Aegyptus.”

Luciferael dismissed the Dominions and addressed his fellow Archangels. “Here is my battle plan. I want to attack with all of your legions aiming at the pyramid at Aegyptus first. Once we overwhelm them there, we will go on to attack the encampment at Medius and then to the pyramid at O
ccidentus
. The remainder of the pyramids won't have any effective defenders and we can deal with them at our leisure.
Lord
Beelzebael will accompany me at the head of this front legion.
Lord
Mammonael, you will come in with your legion on my right, and,
lord
Mephistophael, you will come in with your legion on my left.” Luciferael paused and then addressed Damiel.

Lord
Damiel, I want you to come behind the three of us, but with only half your legion, and be sure to bring along half of your Potentate Angels and keep them handy. Leave the other half of your legion and the rest of the Potentates up here in the First Heaven but still ready to come to the Earth when we have broken though the loyal Angels’ defense, or if we need them sooner.”

All the remaining Archangels of the Auxilium nodded as they were given instructions. Luciferael then asked, “Unless you have some questions, let's start getting ready for the final attack!”

None of the Archangels had any questions. Beelzebael was proud of what they had accomplished so far and he watched his brethren from the Auxilium move off quietly yet confidently. Another day's worth of fighting and they would all be in charge of the Universe.

Chapter 37

STORM CLOUDS ARISING

Cerebriel and Faumiel were startled out of their sleep by a blue flash followed by a large boom of thunder. Storm clouds were beginning to form on the Earth. Prior to the fall of Adam and Eve, the weather in the Garden of Eden and on the Earth was warm and calm. But now there was turmoil in the Universe, the Heavens and the Earth. Nothing would be the same again.

Cerebriel and Faumiel ran outside the pyramid at O
ccidentus
, afraid that Luciferael's legions had begun a surprise attack in the middle of the night. Water droplets began to fall upon the loyal Angel's encampment around the outside of the pyramid. Rain did not affect the Angels much, as it was just a slight adjustment for their bodies, and then the water slipped right through them. The side effect of this ability was that the Angels then could not pick up or hold anything that was of solid mass or earth. But since it was night time and they were still resting, this did not create much of a problem for them. And fortunately, the weapons brought down the night before had already been placed within the pyramid for safekeeping. Otherwise it would have made for a very long night, moving those weapons under those circumstances.

Another lightning strike dropped a palm tree not far from where they were encamped and the whole effect piqued Cerebriel's interest. He had an idea of trying to develop this force as a weapon.

“Faumiel and Dubriel, come with me!” Cerebriel ordered. They followed Cerebriel as he flew up into the clouds trying to determine where this force came from. As they watched lightning strike things on the ground they could see that this could be a very powerful weapon to place in their arsenal. Arriving at the top of a very dark cloud, Cerebriel could see how the electricity was generated by the clouds rubbing together, turning the charge of the water molecules in one direction, causing not only the water vapor to condense into rain, but also the friction between clouds to build up a large electrical charge.

“Notice, Faumiel, how those clouds are rubbing against the air and one another. They are creating tension and an electrical charge.”

The clouds churned and spun around the three Cherubim, with rain falling down through the clouds. In the center of the cloud was a dark spot, where a spark began to grow and when it reached about six inches it started a chain reaction of the electrical charge. It kept expanding into a lightning bolt and headed towards an object on the ground. A thunderous boom accompanied this discharge of energy, and the item on the ground was destroyed. The three Angels took their time to observe this phenomenon, and Cerebriel eventually was able to time his flight to get to one of these sparks just as it was expanding into a lightning bolt. By grabbing this expanding energy spark, he became tied to the process and glowed blue white with the energy. He did this a few times until he could replicate the assembling of the electrical charge within the light waves that composed him as a Being of Light. With this knowledge and bodily experience, Cerebriel was able to discharge lightning bolts at will and aim them with great accuracy at objects he wanted to strike.

“Faumiel, come here!” Cerebriel called over to the other Cherubim who had been observing him experiment with this force. “I think I can duplicate these lightning bolts by using my own light energy. Let's see if we can teach you how to do this.” Cerebriel grabbed Faumiel's arm and modified his own light energy so Faumiel could feel the wavelength. “Do you feel what it’s supposed to be like?”

“Yes, my
l
ord, I think so,” Faumiel answered.

“All right then, why don't you try to send a lightning bolt to the ground?” It took three attempts before Faumiel was able to pull together the electrical energy and s
ucceed.

After Faumiel had learned to produce the lightning bolt, it was not that much more difficult to learn to aim those bolts.

“Faumiel, now the question is, can you teach Dubriel how to do it?” Cerebriel asked. “Because if you can, we can spread this formidable weapon and make it available to all of our loyal Angels if need be.”

Faumiel grabbed Dubriel’s hand and let the wavelength of his own energy pass along into his body for him to copy.

After a few minutes and a number of failed attempts, Dubriel was able to duplicate this energy force and use it as a weapon.

Now it was time to see if they could create lightning bolts in an atmosphere that was not in or close to a storm system. Flying out of the clouds, Cerebriel, Faumiel, and Dubriel flew a great distance to an island that was away from the storm clouds. To their delight, they found they were able to spontaneously generate these lightning bolts at that place as well. It all came from the ability to manipulate their own light wave energy. With more practice, they found they could explode trees, rocks and mounds of earth easily. They did not want to harm one another so they refrained from aiming lightning bolts at one another. But they were very interested to see what the effect
a concentrated lightning bolt could have as a direct hit on a Being of
Light
, if it was used as a weapon.
That experiment would have to wait until they were under attack and had to use it to protect themselves.

As they headed back to the pyramid at O
ccidentus
, Cerebriel thought to himself that these weapons would come in handy when Luciferael's next attack came. The
rebel Angels
would be in for quite a surprise!
