Glenn licked his lips as though he were about to devour a meal and rose to kiss her again. His hands moved around her soft flesh and hers curled around his back, sliding along his broad muscles. He felt around her breasts and then unclasped her bra from behind, pulling it away and flinging it across the room with force. She gasped as the fabric rubbed against her skin and then her breasts pressed against his chest.

He moved down and sucked her bullet nipples, teasing them with his teeth, making her tingle and gasp. Her mind reeled as pain blurred with pleasure and her eyes fluttered until they closed in sweet delight. He buried himself in her and moaned loudly as he forced her down onto her back and placed his arms by her sides as he kissed down her stomach. She craned her neck down to watch him move down her body, and her arms held his scalp tightly as he took her fragile panties in his teeth and roared as he yanked them down her legs. She was free, and she was his.

He ran his tongue up her thigh and she had a sharp intake of breath as he moved past her vagina, back up to where he could kiss her again. They grew ever more intimate as their tongues danced and twisted in their mouths, and her hands traveled down his body until they found his belt. She deftly worked it with her fingers until it unclipped, and the leather slid away. She reached down more and felt for the zipper. The burning bulge was ready and waiting for her, and her hands trembled as she reached down for it. She unzipped it and then plunged her hands in, exploring, feeling his hard erection through the cloth of his underwear. She moved her hands around and pushed his jeans down. He wriggled his hips and slid out of them, and then turned them around so that she was on top of him.

The movement came as a shock and it drove the air from her lungs. Her hair fell over him and she moved down, hungry to please and tease him with his mouth. His abs tensed as he sat up slightly to watch her slide away his boxers, unleashing his monstrous erection. It was hard and thick and throbbing, begging for her touch. She looked him in the eyes and leaned down to kiss the tip softly, pressing her full, sensual lips against it and letting it linger there. She could feel the tension burst through him as she took another inch. But then Glenn reached down and beckoned for her to move.

“Let’s please each other at the same time. I want to taste you too,” he said, and she was all too happy.

She moved her body around and twisted her head back. Glenn’s arms came around her thighs as he guided her down onto him. She leaned forward, and felt his tongue start to work its way around her. Pleasure started to spread through her body and she leaned forward, letting his erection lay flat against his stomach while she left kisses across the veiny surface, before then letting her tongue slather it in saliva. She then curled her fingers around the base and stroked it before wrapping her lips around it and sucking gently.

Meanwhile, Glenn held her thighs around him as he kissed and licked her, using his tongue like a magic wand. He swirled it and let it relax against her, before tensing it and moving it in between her wet lips. His face was soon slick with her juices but he couldn’t get enough, and as Ana sucked she could hear his moans of pleasure, which only turned her on more. He licked her deeper and deeper, and she could feel his tongue squirming inside, prompting her to breath over his erection. This made him tense and she could feel him shudder, so she released his cock and blew on it coolly again. His arms tensed around her and she felt his own breath rush through her.

Ana took his erection in her mouth again and sucked on the tip, getting gradually lower and lower until she had it all in her mouth, her jaws stretched to their limit. She moved her head, jerking his cock around, and then released it, letting her foamy saliva drip down slowly. Her hair fell forward and splayed over his thighs. His hands moved around and ran up the sides of her body, searching and finding her breasts. He played with her as he pleased her, and she sucked harder and faster, the both of them driving each other to new heights of passion.

The intensity was high and they loved tasting each other. Her body shuddered at his touch and it seemed his tongue would go on like that for eternity. It swirled around her lips while his hands played with her body and she was flooded with overwhelming pleasure.

Eventually he tapped her and she took a few last sucks of his cock before she rose and twisted off of him. Instantly he leapt on her and was kissing her again. She could taste herself on his tongue but it only added to the eroticism of the moment.

“I need you, God, I’ve needed you from the moment I first set eyes on you,” he said, breaking the kiss for a moment to hold her head in his hands.

She lay underneath him, feeling his body over hers, trying to twist so that he could get inside her, “I wanted to take this slowly, to prove to you that I thought you were special but I just can’t resist you any longer. You drive me insane Ana and I’m going to fuck you right now.”

He kissed her again, giving her no time to react, and then hauled her up and, with the full force of his strength, he threw her on the bed. She landed with a soft thud and the springy mattress bounced underneath her.

Glenn stood up and she gazed at his perfect body as he came upon her like a prowling animal. He took hold of her hands and pinned them over her head as he plunged himself inside her and started fucking her wildly. The room was filled with incessant screaming as he got deeper inside her than anyone else ever had. He fucked her until sweat was pouring from their bodies, and until the passion grew so overwhelming that her screams turned silent. He held a fistful of hair in his and tugged on it, letting the full fury of his animalistic passion out.

Waves and waves of pleasure rippled through Ana, and she knew they would build to a loud, thunderous crescendo. Glenn was rampant in his desire, his body writhed and moved with such passion that Ana thought she was going to be split in two. Glenn slid out of her and pulled her up. By now Ana was delirious and she would have willingly done anything Glenn wanted. Her vision was blurred and all she knew is that she was filled with orgasmic delight.

Glenn made her lean against one of the posts as he felt her rump and spanked it playfully, then he slowly slid himself inside her and his hands came around to grope at her breasts. The other hand grabbed a fistful of hair and yanked hard, pulling her head back and making her body arch. Then, with his long, thick erection, he fucked her. His hips moved liked pistons and they both held on tightly as he slammed against her body. Sweat poured out of Ana’s body, and it dripped off Glenn’s forehead too, sizzling on the small of Ana’s back.

She was almost crippled by passion as an explosive orgasm hit her and made her cry out with delightful anguish. Her head wanted to bow but Glenn held it back, and his grip on her only tightened for he too was caught in the throes of orgasm. She could feel it building for his whole body tensed and a low guttural moan soon turned into a loud howl that would have reached the heavens as Glenn pumped and pounded until his warm stream released within her and she felt it spread through her body. He fell forward spent, and his sweaty forehead collapsed on her back. His powerful heart drummed against her, and their chests heaved as they tried to catch their breath.

“Oh my God,” Ana exclaimed. Glenn laughed with heavy breaths and stroked her back, kissing it lightly. Ana was aching and slipped along the bed. Glenn pulled the cover around them as they held each other tightly.

“Today has been wonderful,” she said, kissing him and snuggling into the warmth of his body. He kissed her lightly on the head and wrapped his arms around her lovingly, drawing her softness against his body.

“This is only the beginning,” he said, “I want you to know that I don’t often do this sort of thing. I don’t let people get close to me.”

“I should be honored then,” she said, and they kissed again.

They fell into each other’s rhythm of breathing and, with their bodies completely drained of energy, they soon fell into a deep, restful slumber, and for the first time since the wedding weekend Ana didn’t think of Colton before she went to sleep. However, while she slept she thought about the reports of the bears she had read about earlier, and they played on her mind.

Her dreams were vivid, and in them she found that she was in a cave with a mystic, hooded seer. She crept inside, and when the seer turned to reveal itself it turned out to be Angelica. Ana writhed in her sleep, and then suddenly she heard a low growl of a bear. She turned, and now she was in a clearing. The bear stampeded towards her, and her heart raced. Her body was caked in cold sweat, and she awoke briefly, gasping for air. She sat bolt upright and looked down at Glenn, who was sleeping peacefully beside her. She remembered what Angelica had said about totem animals, and wondered if she had just perhaps discovered hers. It left her with an unsettling feeling that she tried to put out of her mind, and forced herself to return to sleep.

Chapter 14

The morning sun rose and bathed the world in its glorious golden splendor. Ana smiled as she opened her eyes and stretched out her limbs. She reached out for Glenn but he was nowhere to be found, although as she woke she could hear the shower running. Part of her wanted to surprise him, but she was so comfortable she thought she would remain in bed for a little while longer. She looked over and saw a note.

Why don’t you show me your skills in the kitchen and make some breakfast, you should have everything you need
,’ it read, and she giggled.

She put it back and let the memory of the previous night settle around her head for a little while. The untamed, wild side of Glenn had been exactly what she had wanted and it drove her crazy for him. Although she had been nervous and torn she was glad that she had come this weekend because she was infinitely happy. Glenn was sweet and kind, and the sex had been unreal.

If her cell hadn’t been so far away she would have called Angelica because this was the kind of thing that she had to tell someone about. She glanced over at the floor and looked at the clothes strewn about with pride. Just thinking about it made her tingle, and she knew exactly what she wanted for breakfast, but she wasn’t going to find it in the kitchen.

She pulled a robe on over her naked body and pulled the cord tight, and leaned down to pick up her cell, slipping it into her pocket. It was a large robe and comfy, but she hoped that she wouldn’t be wearing it for long because she was eager to see what else Glenn could give her. She walked out of the bedroom and tiptoed to the bathroom where she hoped to give Glenn a very pleasant surprise. However, then she heard someone storming up the stairs. She turned around to see who it was, and her face fell when it was Colton.

The two of them froze as they saw each other. Ana had never expected to see him here. Had not wanted to see him here because it could have ruined everything she and Glenn had started together. Color drained from her face and she glanced to the bedroom, wondering if she could escape back to that sanctuary. Colton looked at her with those piercing eyes. Seeing him again brought back those feelings, and despite the night she had with Glenn she couldn’t ignore the attraction that built inside her. She glanced down as Colton moved forward, glowering with rage.

“What are you doing here?” he asked as he moved forward. Ana blushed and looked at him, then looked away again.

“Oh, fuck it, I don’t care,” he said, “I can’t resist you.” He came up and leaned in to kiss her. For a moment Ana was tempted to return the gesture, but only for a moment. She jerked her head away and pushed him back, leaving Colton stunned.

“What’s wrong?” he asked. Ana gazed at him in disbelief.

“I’m wearing your cousin’s robe,” she said in a strained whisper, “I’m in his house. Why do you think I’m here?” He looked hurt and angry, and she hated that he felt that way but what was she to do? He clenched his jaw and his fists and he stared at her with those hooded eyes. She felt under scrutiny, but she hated the idea that she did something wrong and soon the anger swelled within her.

“What right do you have to judge me anyway? It’s not like we made a promise to each other.”

“What about that night in the boat? Did that mean nothing to you?”

“Mean nothing to
me
?” she said, losing control of the pitch of her voice, “you were the one who just disappeared. You were the one who never made any promises. I never even knew if I would see you again after that weekend! Did you expect me to just wait in the hope that somehow our paths crossed again?”

“What do you see in him anyway?” he growled. The scowl seemed to be a permanent fixture on his face.

“That’s none of your business,” she replied haughtily, and folded her arms defiantly. Colton breathed heavily, and part of her liked that he reacted this way, but she was tired of being caught between the two. Glenn had proven himself and she owed it to him to respect what they had begun.

“It doesn’t matter, it’s not like you’ll be happy with him anyway,” he muttered. Ana almost flew into a rage, and if she hadn’t been so afraid that Glenn would have heard them she would have screamed at the top of her voice. Instead she managed to keep it low and raspy.

“Why? Give me one good reason why? You don’t get to use me for some fun then come barging in here and act like I’m doing something wrong. I’m a free person and you had made no effort to contact me. Glenn did. That’s why I’m here, because he showed me that he wanted me. If that’s not good enough for you then I don’t care because whatever fun we had was obviously just that, fun, and it can stay back at that lake.”

Colton was left fuming, but he couldn’t answer Ana’s question. Instead, he stared at her intensely, and she stared back. Then they heard the shower turn off, and a few moments later Glenn stepped out. One towel was wrapped around his waist while he used another to dry his hair. He wore a smile and appeared to be about to say something when he looked up and saw the two of them, and he stopped in his tracks.

“Oh, it’s you,” he said tersely. “Ana, meet my cousin Colton.” Ana turned to Colton and smiled brightly.

“It’s nice to meet you,” she said, pretending they had never met before.

Colton furrowed his brow and his upper lip curled into a snarl as she rebuffed him. Before he even had a chance to respond she excused herself and went downstairs.

“I’m going to make us a little breakfast,” she said, flashing a smile at Glenn and leaving the two men to their own business.

As soon as she had left sight she was filled with ire. How dare Colton come in and demand things of her! She hated the idea that he felt he had some claim to her when he hadn’t made any effort to see her since the wedding. And yet there was still something about him that she felt attracted to, although she had to devote herself to Glenn. Still, she couldn’t help thinking about what he had said.

Was it just jealousy that made him say that she would never be happy with Glenn or was there something more? Glenn hadn’t spoken kindly of Colton so there was obviously a strained relationship, but then why had Colton turned up out of the blue like that? She also hoped that Colton wouldn’t say anything about their relationship because that could ruin things for her and Glenn, although she didn’t think he would because although he was dangerous he didn’t seem vindictive.

She searched through the kitchen and made some pancakes, then drizzled honey over them. There were so many jars of it that evidently it was Glenn’s favorite, and she knew that he would be needing something sweet after his discussion with Colton. The air had been rife with tension between them and she longed to know what had happened in their past to make them hate each other so much.

Judging from the picture she had seen the previous day they had been close at one time, and if their other family had moved away why had Colton stayed around? There were so many unanswered questions that Ana longed to know the answers to. She made it a point to ask Glenn as soon as she had the opportunity.

She dutifully made the pancakes and hummed to herself as she did so. Other than the run in with Colton the morning had been perfect, and she was looking forward to his departure so that she and Glenn could be alone again. They had spoken of doing something adventurous during the day but all she wanted to do was lay in bed with him and explore each other’s bodies.

It didn’t take long to make the pancakes, and curiosity got the better of her so she crept back up the stairs and listened to the two cousins arguing. She had missed the beginning but not by much, and she now heard their voices clearly. She crouched down so as not to be seen, and made sure that the steps would not creak if she moved.

“You shouldn’t just barge in here like this. I told you that before. Are you ever going to listen to me?” Glenn said.

“You’re my cousin, not my father,” Colton spat.

“Yeah, well, you can bet if I was your father I’d be whipping you in line. That trick you pulled the other weekend was not cool. What was the deal with not showing up to the actual ceremony?”

“I was busy. Besides, I hate those sorts of things. Nobody cares if I’m there anyway they’re all just wrapped up in their own images.”

“I care. It’s important for us to maintain a social presence.”

“Oh yeah, because that matters so much.”

“It does. At least it used to matter. I’m the head of this family now so you’d better listen to me.”

“Like everyone else listened to you?” The words obviously stung as Ana heard Glenn take a few steps forward, and there was a long pause between those words and his reply, which was in a lower tone.

“You had the opportunity to have a say in how I run things but you didn’t. I didn’t force them to leave and if you had all just listened to me things would have been different. I’m not going to change things now though. But as long as you’re here you have responsibilities. You can’t leave everything on me. Sometimes I don’t know why you bother staying.”

“You know I can’t go,” and there was a desperate sadness to Colton’s voice that tugged at Ana’s heart.

“Then invest yourself in this life. I really do worry about you Colton, you drift through as if nothing matters when you know that everything does. I don’t even know what you do with your time. Are you actually happy? You can’t just coast through life all the time.”

“I can do whatever the hell I want.”

“Yeah, because I’m making sure that we still have some sort of income. Christ, if I wasn’t here you’d be a bum. You practically dress like one now.”

Ana heard the stomping of footsteps and she knew that the two men were inches away from each other. She wondered if all their conversations went this way.

“You think you’re so perfect don’t you, with your little house here and your business trips there. You’re on such a power trip you can’t even see the truth, that the empire you’re leading is crumbling underneath your feet and it’s your own damned fault. And now, what, you’re going to bring her into this? You’ve got just as many secrets as me. What was the idea of bringing her here when we’re supposed to be running tonight anyway? Or are you backing out of that now too?”

“You know I’d never back out of that. And don’t worry about her, I’ll get rid of her by this afternoon.”

Ana didn’t know what they said after that. She could only hear those words ringing around her mind. Tears stung her eyes and her heart sank into her chest. It felt like everything she knew had just been torn asunder. She glanced down at the pancakes she had made and was filled with anger. She picked them up. Her hand trembled. She walked down the stairs and then threw them up in the air.

The plate smashed and she slammed the door behind her, not even bothering to go and get her clothes. She stormed back to her hotel, trying to stop the tears running down her cheeks, but they burned and came anyway. She didn’t look back even though she heard Glenn call after her, but the damage had been done and there wasn’t anything he could say that could make it better.

She went back to her hotel, changed her clothes and made the valet bring her car around, and before she knew it she was back in Trinity Falls. The words continually swirled around her mind. They had been said with such derision that she wondered if he had meant any of the things he had told her. Ana felt used and betrayed and her heart felt as though it was breaking in her breast for she had gone from utter delight to the darkest despair. As soon as she got back to Trinity Falls she called up Angelica, who came rushing over.

“He seemed like a completely different person,” she said after having caught Angelica up on the events leading to her departure from Glenn’s house. “Before that he was so sweet and kind, and when I was with him I felt completely safe, like I could trust him with anything. He was so open and honest with me that I really felt we had connected but then it was all gone in a flash.”

“What’s the deal with those two anyway? Why are they fighting so much? Are you sure that it’s not just that they bring out the worst in each other? I mean, I know it’s not a nice thing to say but maybe he didn’t actually mean it?”

“I don’t care, he shouldn’t have said it in the first place,” Ana sobbed, “And I don’t know what it is between them. They both seem to hate each other, but I don’t even know why Colton was there. And I have no idea what they meant by running together, or why I couldn’t be there for it. What should I do?”
