Chapter 1
Pierce: Saturday Night in Bed with Josephine

She stiffens. Josephine is not reacting well to my words of love. Somehow I knew she wouldn't, but fuck it! I love her. It's not about her saying the same back to me, although that would send me to the moon and back. I spoke these words to tell her how I feel, how I see her.

I keep kissing her neck, her spot, but her muscles don't relax. She just needs some time to adjust to what I said. I never thought I would utter that phrase to any woman I slept with, but here I am. Josephine has that power over me.

"I didn't say that....I mean that I don't want you to feel scared. I don't expect you to feel the same as I do Josephine."

She is pushing away, but turning to face me. Even in this nervous state she glows.

"I will admit that I am a little frightened by your admission Pierce. To tell the truth I am more worried about my reaction to it then what you said. I figured I would be overjoyed to hear those words from you, but my body isn't reacting how I want it to."

She's giving me a tense smile. I rub my thumb over her cheek trying to give her reassurance.

"We are both new to all this. I think you just need some time to sort through your feelings."

"Please don't think I don't care for you Pierce. I want you to know I have never had feelings this strong before for anyone. No man has ever made my heart sing as you have. Perhaps you are right; I just need a little time."

Not wanting to pressure her I remain silent and just smile lovingly at her while moving my thumb lower to her chin and down her neck. I sigh, only wanting to make her happy, to see her smile, to hear her laughter. Perhaps I should change the subject to something lighter so I can hear her laugh again.

"Are you hungry, dear?"

She nods her head and right at that moment there is a knock at the door. I jump up, grab a robe from the bathroom, and answer the door, knowing who is waiting. Crossing the suite to the entrance I catch Josephine's perplexed expression, which makes me smirk.

I open the door.

"Good evening Mr. Carver. Where do you wish me to place your food?"

I allow the tall young man with a wide grin into the room. He places the food on the dining table in the corner per my instructions and leaves without delay. I walk back into the bathroom and retrieve the other robe. As I arrive back to the bedroom I see Josephine is now sitting up with her knees tucked into her chest, so I open the robe for her to put on.

"Here you are my lady. Your food waits in the dining area."

She is hopping out of bed and into the terry cloth garment, her silky black hair making the white more vivid against her skin.

"You thought of everything tonight, didn't you Pierce?"

"Anything to make you happy dear."

We glance at all the food I had ordered when reserving the room. It's a lot.

"I really didn't know what you would like, so I ordered a wide variety of things."

"Looks like we are going to have to work overtime to burn off all this food, Pierce. Let's dig in, it's going to be a long night."

God, how I love her. I grab her hand and tug her into my body. Her arms wrap around my waist and I only feel joy at her touch.

"I don't know if it's food I'm hungry for." I tell her as I lean down to nibble at her neck, her sweet scent goading me. She laughs, running her hands through my hair sending tingles down my neck. Finally she pushes back, regarding me with mock seriousness.

"Well, I am. I need to eat to give me enough energy so I can do what I want with you tonight."

She pulls away and gives a swift pat on my ass as she maneuvers around to sit at the table. I am left standing with my erection poking out of my robe and closing my eyes to run images of baseball and computer code in my head.

Finally, taking a seat across from her she already has a mouthful of calamari and a piece of bread in her hand. She swallows after a few more chews and I dig into the Crab Cake with my fork. We forgo the plates, and just eat straight from the platters.

"Wow, this is really good! I don't know if it's because I am so hungry or the food is that delicious, but I think this is the best food I have ever tasted." Josephine exclaims between bites.

"Yeah, this is amazing. I didn't realize how hungry I was."

We sit in silence shoveling food into our mouths for a few minutes until we are satisfied enough to start talking again.

"So, Josephine, tell me something no one knows about you."

I stare at her as she gives me a bemused expression which makes me smile to see her at a loss for words.

"That's a hard question. I'm sure there is an abundant amount of information that you may not know about me, but I don't keep secrets about myself. I'm pretty much an open book. I don't see the point in hiding things from people."

I roll my eyes remembering the embarrassment when she explained to my mother how I was trying to woo her.

"Okay, then something unusual that I don't know about you yet."

She snaps a cucumber slice and scrunches up her brow. After a few moments she finally responds.

"I don't like the smell of vanilla. The scent is too sticky sweet. You may notice if a woman is wearing a vanilla laced perfume I crinkle my nose. It's too much for me."

"But you told me how you were eating vanilla ice cream last week."

"I didn't say I don't like the taste of vanilla, I said I don't like the smell. Vanilla gives off a very good flavor and as far as ice cream, you can't really smell it."

"I suppose you are right, I never really smell ice cream. It just seems odd is all."

"So, I'm a little odd. I thought you would have figured that out by now Pierce."

I chuckle and watch her serious expression. She is so matter of fact about things that I think if it were anyone else they would come off as having no personality. But with Josephine, her intelligence and odd quirks add to her intrigue.

"So what about you Pierce. What is something no one else knows about you?"

I see a hint of a smile and want to indulge her to make it grow.

"Hmm, well I would say that I used to be a bit of a theater geek in high school and at MIT. Even Corbin and my other friend Jacob don't know I used to act. My mom knows about the high school stuff, but she doesn't know I minored in Theater Arts at MIT. Actually, that's where I met the only girlfriend I ever had. Sarah was a Theater major and we dated for about six months, until I caught her in bed with one of the professors from the theater department. That ended very badly for all involved."

"Wow. Did you tell the administration about the professor?"

"No, apparently she wasn't the only one he used. One of the girls got pissed at him and told. In the end, Sarah transferred to Boston University and I decided women weren't worth the heartache. I grew out of that anger by my mid-twenties, but by that time...this is going to sound terrible, but it's the truth, by the time I got past what Sarah did to me, I became so focused on work that I looked at woman as something to...um...for lack of a better word relieve my stress."

She furrows her brow and gives a slight nod.

"Yeah, I can see that. Sex is a great stress reliever."

My eyes go wide and can't believe what I'm hearing. I thought she would be taken aback by my comment or at least irritated by it, but nothing.

"You don't think I'm wrong for acting like that?"

She cocks her head to one side as if I just told her the Sun is made out of plastic and only to be used for Frisbee play.

"That's not for me to judge Pierce. What you did or how you felt in the past has no bearing on me. I am not your mom or even one of the stress relieving women. If you feel guilty about it then feel free to talk to me about it or Corbin or your mother or whoever you feel comfortable with, but please don't ever be ashamed of whom you are. There is one thing I know being in the profession I am in; it's that our mind causes us to react to situations in exactly the way we need to react to them at the time. It's our brain's way of handling stress or trying to heal; unfortunately we sometimes have trouble moving forward and get stuck in a rut. We find ourselves doing things that at one time helped us, but now not so much."

She sighs before continuing.

"I could never think you are a terrible person. You have shown me nothing but respect, understanding and care since I have met you. Please don't be afraid to be open with me, I only want to care for you."

My heart is floating above me as I sit staring at the most wonderful creature in existence. I feel as if I got a sneak peek at the creation of the universe and that it has been done for my eyes only.

"How do you do that Josephine?"

"What?"

I get up and walk over to her and kneel down beside her chair looking up into her eyes. She scoots the chair to face me and I am in between her knees as my hands rest on her thighs.

"How are you so amazing? How has no man snatched you up by now?

I look at her hands that rise in front of my face.

"And how have I been lucky enough to have you all to myself?"

She smiles and starts to brush her hands through my hair.

"I am who I am. I have witnessed how awful people can be to one another, especially the ones who say they love each other. I vowed at a young age that I would never be like that. I would never sneer or look down upon or hurt someone because they aren't acting how I want them to act. It never has the intended effect and only hurts others. Also, Luna helped me realize that secrets are pointless. I kept the truth from her once when I was a teenager and when she learned the facts, she didn't care. I made a big deal out of something that was nothing and therefore kept the truth from her. It was pointless and just caused me unnecessary worry. So, by the time I set off to grad school I realized that a life lived honestly and free of judgment is a happy life indeed."

I push open her robe and start to kiss her thighs.

"You know Pierce, this hotel room has a beautiful tub that I would love to use."

Her naked and wet, this day is going down in history as being the best day of my life. I hop to my feet and rub my hands together in excitement. She's suddenly laughing at me and stands grabbing my ass giving me a wink.

"You are cute Pierce. Too cute."

We walk in the bathroom and I get started setting up the bath as she goes about washing her face. I still can't understand why she feels it necessary to clean her face before we get into the tub, but I chalk it up to a woman thing. After a few minutes we step into the hot jasmine salted bathwater. We sit across from one another and she scoots closer, wrapping her legs around my waist. Our arms encircle each other while we kiss. She pulls back slightly and dips her hair into the water so it's slick down her neck and back.

"I wonder if you can get any more beautiful and then this happens." I look up at her as she smiles. Leaning over, I start on her neck and then move to her favorite spot, at the base of her collarbone. She moans and starts to dig her fingers into my head. I want to hear more. My hand travels up her body to cup her breast while my finger and thumb play tug of war with her nipple. She is starting to grind into me and my erection is full and waiting for more.

She looks down at me as her eyes darken to a deep grey and I know she's ready.

"Pierce, I want you now."

She gets up slightly and re-adjusts her body so she is sitting on her knees straddling me. I reach around her and guide my cock into her throbbing pussy. Oh god, she feels so good sliding down on to me. She whimpers and I look up to see her eyes close and the look of awe on her face.

"Oh Josephine, my dear, you feel so incredible."

I grab her hips and begin to push her up and down on me, slowly, savoring this marvelous feeling. Josephine opens her eyes and looks at me as if I am the only one who can make her feel this way. When she's like this with me all her emotions come to the surface. I feel as if I am getting a peek into the real Josephine, not the cool, controlled woman but the fiery sensual goddess I met that first night. My heart beats a little faster knowing that the people she sees during the day never get to see her like this. It's all for me.

"God Pierce you feel so good, I have to come. Please fuck me harder."

She snakes her hand down between us and starts to flick her clit. My arms get to work moving faster and I try to buck into her a few times. I am greeted with some calls of delight against my thrusting. Her muscles start to tighten and I know she's about to come. Josephine is biting her lip and I lower my eyes to watch her tits bounce against the water. I'm on the verge and want to wait for her, but if she doesn't come soon I won't be able to last.

Suddenly I feel her muscles contract as she yells out my name, so I release as we come together.

"Oh Pierce, fuck yes!"

"Josephine, fuck Josephine. I love you so much."

We push into each other trying to reach the top of some imaginary peak. She is shaking and I wrap my arms around her, squeezing her close to me wanting to feel as much of her as I can. After a few moments our breathing slows to a steadier pattern.
