It was all she could take. Her hips jerked off the table when her orgasm hit. Delightful waves of searing heat rendered her into mush while he continued lapping up every wet trickle. She ground her hips against his mouth as unbridled pleasure turned her inside out.

He moved up, grinning, luscious lips glistening from her juices. When he kissed her, the taste of her own musk made her hunger for more action.

“I want your cock in my mouth right now,” she said, pushing him away.

He took a step back with a horny smirk.

Sliding his T-shirt up and over his torso, he then tossed it on the floor. She licked her lips, staring at his dark, muscular body. Faded tattoos covered his chest along with a few scars. Firm biceps twitched while he made quick work of his zipper. Seconds later, his generous cock popped out.

A little worried yet drawn by how deep he’d fill her, she slid off the table and sunk to her knees. She wanted to slake her desires with him. By the expression on his face, he seemed ready and willing for anything.

She kissed the crown, tasting a dribble of pre-cum and savoring the salty taste. He gripped her shoulders, kneading them with his strong hands. For the first time, she felt alive and brazen. Gone were the hurtful memories, replaced with a need to please and be pleased. He groaned when she kissed and licked her way down the underside of his cock while cupping his balls. While she massaged them, she matched the rhythm of her other hand squeezing the base of his shaft. Stroking long and slow, she showed him through actions just how much she enjoyed him.

His thighs began to tremble, and his breath came short and sharp.

Knowing she had him right where she wanted him made her feel powerful. Giving head was something she enjoyed, and she marveled at the wild expression in his eyes each time her mouth glided back and forth.

Just when his balls tightened, she released him, and accepted his offered hand to stand up. He pulled her close, and his sexy lips descended on hers, urging her to follow his lead. The nudge of that glorious, naked cock against her belly was an overwhelming and exciting feeling, and she rocked against him, eager to take him in deep.

“Mmm.…” he whispered against her lips. “Do you have any idea how bad I want you?”

“If you feel like me—pretty bad.”

With a chuckle, he guided her back over the table. As she pushed herself up on top, he pulled her back so just the very end of her ass hung over the edge. “Don’t go anywhere,” he said, and strolled over to the bookshelf.

She watched him, amazed at how calm he appeared when inside she was so ready to explode. When he came back with a condom, Eileen couldn’t peel her gaze away while he opened the foil package and rolled the latex on.

“Ready, baby?”

“Hell yes.”

Ty took position between her legs, while she cupped her breasts and tweaked her nipples.

“Tell me what you want.”

She moaned. “Fuck me.” He fed her just the tip, teasing her without mercy. “
Oh
. More.”

She gripped the table when he pumped deep and then retreated, maintaining a steady rhythm. Then he curved over her and captured her nipple in his mouth. On the verge of exploding, she hugged him tight, learning every curve and slope of his back with her fingers. Each driving thrust drove her higher and higher to ecstasy.

“That’s my girl.” He rolled her nipple between his tongue and teeth, murmuring dirty words in between with that wicked accent. Eileen cupped his shoulders, raking her nails over them while he cupped her ass and fused their bodies together tighter.

Just when she thought it couldn’t get any better, Ty pulled back, taking her with him. “I want you in front of me.” He smacked her ass when he turned her around.

She leaned over the table and held the other side for support, never before believing sex could be like this—so fulfilling and so passionate. He entered deep and hard in shameless abandon, and she gasped when he reached beneath to fondle her clit. More spasms blazed through her.

The table creaked and slid along the floor as his thrusts became more desperate. Then he slammed a hand on the table and groaned, giving in to his release.

Soon his breathing settled. “How do you feel now?” he asked, sliding her hair to the side and kissing the back of her neck.

She smiled. “I feel like a new woman, thanks to you.”

“Good answer. Will you stay the night with me?”

She closed her eyes, wishing a relationship between them could be so simple. But it wasn’t. With regret, she shook her head and turned to face him. “I don’t think I should. There’s too much at stake.” Pressing up on tiptoe, she kissed him before straightening her clothes.

He stared at her with wide eyes. “What do you mean? I thought we had something good here.”

“We do, but….” She turned away, unable to handle his dejected expression. “It’s complicated.”

Before he made her change her mind, she walked out the door, disheveled and flustered, with a terrible feeling that tomorrow would be a whole lot worse.

Chapter Six

Eileen avoided Ty the next day. It seemed best not to let anyone know something had happened between them.

After leaving the night before, she had gone straight to Bobby’s house and told him they were over. He begged and pleaded for her to stay, but once she revealed what she’d witnessed in the restaurant ladies room, he shut his mouth and told her he didn’t care anyway. He’d find some other broad to warm his bed at night. All that mattered to him was winning that damned race.

If he didn’t care about her, why bother sticking around with her team for this long? He could go anywhere. She couldn’t believe a year had been wasted with the prick.

The rest of the night she hadn’t slept a wink, and today she felt like a complete mess. Now, while she stood in the office, staring down at Jennifer, she felt even worse. The little bitch tapped away at the keyboard like nothing major had happened the night before.

Jennifer glanced up and smiled. For a second, Eileen imagined the girl’s head snapping back and blood gushing from her nose.

“Yes?”

She shook the beautiful image out of mind and refocused. “You’re fired.”

Jennifer’s fingers stilled over the keys and her face paled. “What? Why?”

“For fucking my lead driver, that’s why.”

The secretary pushed her office chair back, like she was ready to bolt. Eileen wanted to grab the bitch and make her regret ever laying eyes on Bobby.

“Eileen? Eileen!”

She gasped and took a step back. Wide-eyed, she stared at Jennifer’s shocked face. Good thing Ty had walked in right at that moment because she’d almost acted on angry impulse. All of the stress and pain she’d suffered for so long made her snap.

While Eileen stood frozen and stared at him, Jennifer raced to the door. She stared back with a wicked smile, even though her eyes still held a hint of fear. “I’m surprised you didn’t fire me sooner. I figured your little boy-toy would’ve told you already.”

“What are you talking about?”

Jennifer nodded to Ty. “Your black stud here didn’t tell you he saw us together the other night?” Jennifer laughed, pleased she’d planted the seeds of doubt. “Poor girl. Looks like everybody uses you.” The bitch walked out, letting the office door slam behind her.

Eileen broke down, unable to take any more. A sob burst from her lips, and she sank into the chair Jennifer had vacated. He moved to come forward, but she wasn’t having that. “Don’t you fucking dare. Get away from me.”

“It isn’t what you think—”

“Isn’t it?”

He stared at the floor. Maybe he was just like Jennifer and Bobby, but worse. He’d made her feel so good, just to hurt her like the rest of them. Lies. Everybody lied.

“Isn’t it?” she shrieked.

“I’m sorry. I never meant to hurt you.”

A calm settled over her, and she grabbed the edge of the desk and pulled the chair in, turning her back to him. “I suggest you get back to work.”

“Will you talk to me, please? I swear—”

“I have nothing left to say. Now, get out of here.”

Determined not to give in and turn around to see his handsome face, Eileen sat still, tears streaming down her cheeks. When the door closed did she glance over to where he’d departed and started bawling. After a while, exhaustion took over, and she fell asleep at the desk.

The door buzzed sometime later. Groggy and disoriented, she looked up and rubbed her eyes.

“Did I just catch you sleeping on the job, honey?”

Eileen blinked, trying to focus. “Melody? I’m sorry. What time is it?”

The mail lady approached the front counter and dropped a stack of mail in front of her. “It’s almost three, dear. Where’s Jennifer?”

She straightened. “It’s a long story, but I had to let her go.”

Melody frowned. “Don’t tell me you’re doing front desk now, too.”

“Unfortunately, yes. But enough about me. How are you?”

“Oh, same old, my dear…same old.” The older woman tapped her fingernails on the counter and glanced around, not wanting to leave yet.

Eileen watched Melody’s features while the woman took in the office. No wonder her father stared at her so hard. The woman was beautiful. If it wasn’t for the pure white hair, she would never have guessed she was well into her fifties. She had to admit, Melody made the blue postal shorts and shirt sexy.

An idea popped into mind. “You were a receptionist for a dentist before the mail service, right?”

“Yes I was, dear.” She narrowed her eyes in suspicion. “Why?”

Eileen tried not to grin too hard. “I’ll pay you double what you make now if you take over this office. What do you say? I’m desperate. I’ll do anything.”

Melody’s eyes widened then she leaned over the counter and whispered, “And see your father every day?”

“Do you
want
to see him every day?”

Melody blushed, and Eileen felt a surge of hope. It took every lick of patience she had not to pump the air with her fist.

“I hate delivering the mail. When would you need me?”

Right at that moment, the door leading into the shop out back opened, and there stood her father on the threshold, his eyes wide, face pale, as he stared from Eileen to Melody and back again.

“Are you okay, Pop? You seem ill.”

“I cut my fuckin’ finger near clean off,” he grumbled.

Eileen jumped up to go to him, but Melody pushed past, rushing around the counter to take his injured hand in hers. She watched with a mixture of worry and amusement when Melody shushed him and dragged him toward the employee bathroom.

“What are you doing, woman?” He tried to pull back, mortified and embarrassed. “Quit manhandling me—”

“You settle down now. As your new receptionist, you’ll listen while in
my
office.”

“What?” Her father glanced over his shoulder in confusion. She grinned at him and waved. “Oh, hell,” he muttered, and they disappeared into the bathroom.

Finally, he had the right woman ordering him around. Maybe now he’d find a little happiness.

Must be nice
. She covered her face with her hands and sobbed.

Ty knew not to mess around with Jonnie’s daughter, but damn it, he couldn’t help himself. Eileen was so beautiful, strong, and passionate. It didn’t take long at all to fall under her spell. Was it love? The answer to that seemed out of reach, and yet he’d never cared for anyone like this before.

Well, he’d really fucked things up. She probably hated him, even though he hadn’t meant to toss himself into their business. But by stepping back, he’d made himself an accessory.

Now Eileen didn’t trust him.

The fact that she was part owner of the team never occurred to him. He wasn’t trying to sleep his way into the driver’s seat because he cared about her. She attracted him like a doomed fly to a zapper.

How could he make up for this mess? But he wasn’t sure how. Maybe she just needed time alone to sort through her emotions, and—if he was lucky—she’d come around soon enough.

But, patience wasn’t his strongest virtue.

Ty sat in the car, gripping the wheel and staring through the right-side window. Eileen didn’t even glance at him or even acknowledge him since he started work this morning. Instead, she walked around the car—giving it the once-over—and then nodded to the push truck behind him.

He locked the car in gear. Once the truck got him far enough down the track and the engine turned over, he started the motor and sped like a demon over the dirt. All the while, he imagined her facial expressions when he had lowered himself between her legs—how she had cried out and clutched at his body when he had thrust into her. He took the left turn tight and headed down the straightaway with angry purpose, wishing he’d handled things better.

“You’re being a little reckless out there, Ty,” Eileen’s voice filtered through the earpiece. “Slow down.”

But he ignored the command, taking the next left tighter and faster than the last.

“What are you doing?” she shouted.

He sped past her on the straightaway, while she waved like a lunatic. “Can you hear me? Slow down…you’re gonna kill yourself!”

Again he ignored her, letting his emotions get the best of him. On the next left, he fishtailed and gripped the wheel tighter. Turning into the slide, he righted the car. Any faster and he could’ve rolled it. Heart pounding, he knew his actions went beyond reckless, but he was too pissed to care.

“Bring my fucking car back!” she screamed into the earpiece.

Ty pursed his lips, fighting the urge to shout back. He drove up to where she stood, shut off the engine, and pulled himself out of the window. He yanked the helmet off and chucked it onto the ground. While he stood there, fuming and confused, she ran onto the track with a glare.

“What the hell were you trying to pull out there?”

“I don’t know…drive?” What else could he say? Apologizing to her earlier hadn’t been good enough. “Why are you being so cold?”

She crossed her arms, refusing to look at him. “Just forget what happened between us. It’s best this way.”
