"Fuck! Reese!"  His voice was rough and his face in a snarl as I gripped the length exposed by my ministrations.  I stroked his length, still unable to fit my hands around the full width of him.  It didn't seem to matter, though.  He still reacted to my caress.

"I love touching you, Brand," I whispered when my mouth met the hinge of his jaw.  "You're so big, so hard for me."

That's when his other language kicked in and didn't stop.  But I took that as a good sign.

I stroked, but this time, there in the car ensconced in the garage, I took my time and watched for his reactions.  His body's reply to my touch, the feel of my hand and lips on him and his reaction to them was more exciting than anything I could've dreamed.

And he seemed to love it all.

He shook and shivered when I stroked, thrusted and throbbed, when I tightened my grip.  I had to use both hands, which were slick with what was slowly oozing from his cockhead at my attention.  My fingers brushed against his balls and I thought he was gonna have a seizure, so I deliberately, though gently, reached for them again.  And as I stroked both them and the steel velvet of his length, there was a long string of words I didn't know and couldn't make out.  But I knew he liked what I was doing to him.

Moaning is a universal language.

"I am going to…" he panted, switching back to English, his hands on my ass, gripping as if his life depended on it.

"Come for me, my beautiful man."  I'd never used those kind of words in my life.  But with Brand, at that moment, it fit.  "Come into my hands that love touching you."

"I fucking love yo, too, my Reese," he said, his eyes opening wide, unfocused and flaring before the white jets spilled over my hands and onto both our jeans.  Our gazes held as he grunted hoarsely, the spasms of his speech leaving his body long after the physical evidence of his bliss had stopped.

I smiled and pressed my lips to his, leaning my still uncovered chest to the heated flesh exposed.

"Hot, Brand," I whispered, my voice sounding much quieter, breathier than a whisper should be in the confines of a vehicle.  "So fucking hot."

He pulled away from me, and I saw him swallow thickly as he turned his head away.  A turn that flipped what we'd done from 'spectacular' to an 'oh- god, what- have- I- done'.

His hands on me, like his head, pulled back and I watched as he tucked himself back into his boxers and jeans.  Every movement done without even the barest of glances sent my way.

Talk about awkward.  Geesh!

I opened the passenger door and let myself out before winding around to the driver's space to snag my purse.  And, with every step I took, I was calling myself another word for 'stupid'.

My eyes and body had experienced what he could've been or probably was before I'd been with him, after hearing what he what he liked to do before me…with how he liked to find release.

Here I was getting off on what he could do with just the two of us, the heat he could bring, without any idea of how to sex him up in the same way.

And experienced men don't want girls that don't know what they're doing.  Everyone knew that.

Shit.

What a fucking disaster.

I, in my own musings, had forgotten that getting in and out of the truck was difficult for Brand until I heard him offer a soft 'uff' as his feet hit the ground and a full slide of guilt hit me hard.

"Sorry," I yelled, scrambling to make my way back to him, but he held up a hand to stop me.  He even shook his head.

Damn.  Brand couldn't even to stand to have my hands on him anymore.  After seeing what he'd been with before, the curves and experience, I understood and stayed away.  The car thingie had been just him getting off.  It didn't have anything to do with me, and my mind went back to his speech about a willing partner or his fist.

Why did that knowledge skid around inside of me, the runnels of hurt leaving open sores in their wake?

Chapter Twenty Five

Fuck!  He'd just touched her like some piece of ass he'd picked up in a bar or roadhouse.  Treated her with a lack of respect she didn't deserve.

And then, he had blurted out his feelings for her at the most inappropriate time and with the worst language.

All in a fucking truck.

That is not how a man treats his woman, his wife,
he thought bitterly.

He couldn't have waited another few minutes and taken her gently, tenderly, in the expanse of their bed.  Offered her his words along with his heart when they were both replete in the afterglow of their lovemaking.  No, he let the fire of his desire control his actions and had lost control when she begged him to touch her.

It was her plea that had shredded his good sense and left his well-meant intentions in tatters.

If he'd had it in him, he would've kicked his own ass.

She was worthy of better, so much better.

He locked the door and re-set the alarm before turning to find her halfway up the stairs.  "We need to talk," he said and saw her shoulders tense.  She turned and made her way back down, her eyes downcast the entire way.

He moved to one of the sofas and sat down.  "Come sit with me, Reese."

She sat on the couch across from him, removing her boots then tucking her legs beneath her.  He would much prefer to have her on his lap or, at the least, sitting by his side.  The distance between them was too much both physically and emotionally.  Especially after what he'd confessed to her in the car.

"No, wife.  You are too far away."  His voice sounded deep as it echoed in the large open space.  "Come sit with me."

Without even a glance at him, she unfolded and stepped by him, apparently intending on sitting at the other end of the comfortable couch.  As she moved, though, he caught her hand and pulled her to a stop.  His light tug earned him a confused look and he captured her hips, guiding her to the open space right next to him.  "With me," he repeated.

He looped an arm over her shoulders and pressed her closer until she was leaning stiffly against his side.  Brand tried to get his thoughts in order, to plan what he needed to say.

"I am sorry, my beauty, for treating you so disrespectfully," he began and her face whipped up to his.  Her look was astonished before she quickly changed it into something more neutral.  "What we did in the truck was so…"

"Hot?  Sexy?" she offered on a rough whisper as he paused.  "Not what you wanted?  Or, should I say, not
who
you wanted?"

"What?"  He was lost at the turn the conversation had taken.  He twisted so he could see her expression fully as he replayed her questions in his mind.  "No."

"Which part?" Her eyes seemed to be searching his.

"Yes, to the hot and sexy.  No, to the last that you said."  Now it was his turn to be confused.  He shook his head to get back on track.  "The disrespect I showed towards you was wrong, and I'm asking you to forgive me."

She was very quiet, very still after he'd spoken.

"So you didn't like it?" she questioned with a frown, and her hand came up to her mouth before she dropped it to her legs.  He could see she was making an effort to break her lip-tugging habit.

"I liked it very much," he said leaning his head towards her and pulling her tighter to his side.

"Then what's up with the attitude and the apology?" she asked, turning her face back to his.  "I don't get it."

He could feel his eyes blink as he tried to see what happened from her point of view.  But he couldn't since, in his head, he'd done the unthinkable in taking her as if she was a moment's fancy that could be easily discarded and forgotten.

"There is a way to behave towards those that are valuable to you, yes?" His voice was hesitant but grew stronger as what he wanted to say, the ideas he needed her to understand, came to him.  "And you are more precious to me than anything or anyone.  So to find our pleasure so quickly and in a vehicle is not showing you the admiration or respect that you hold in my heart.  Especially after our anger.  It cheapens the connection we have between us."

He could see she was concentrating on his words and he gave her time to think it through.  Surely now that he'd explained, she would be able to see and react to the horrible way he'd treated her in his lust.

"Seriously?" she cried before she began to laugh.

Wait… what?

Why was she laughing?  Hooting so hard she bent in half and slapped the seat next to her.

"I apologize and she finds it funny," he groused.

"Dude!  Geesh, get over yourself all right?"  Her giggles continued and seemed to increase every time she looked at him.  Once she seemed to have a handle on it, she got up on her knees on the sofa and turned so she was sitting full on his lap.  She draped both arms around his neck and, with a smile, pressed her forehead to his.

"We had make-up sex, baby," she said.  "I was jealous and pissed and said shit.  Which ticked you right the fuck off and we yelled at each other.  Big whoop!  People argue.   Then, when the argument is over, they make up.  Although, I don't think they make up half as good as we do."

Okay.  He hadn't looked at it in that way.  Hadn't even gotten close to considering their car play as make up sex.  "You did not find what we'd done as… "

She put her fingers over his lips.  "Baby, what you did in the truck was hot as hell."

He felt his eyebrows lift at her words and the delight he saw in her eyes.

"So hot that we kinda made a mess.  Wanna go upstairs and get clean in another hot and dirty way?" she offered, her face holding a new light.  "Although, I'd like to try out the tub at some point."

"It takes almost a half an hour to fill," he mumbled from behind her fingers.

"Shower it is, then," she said, getting to her feet and grabbing his hand.

It was later, much later that his mind went back to the words he'd blurted in their moment of passion in the car.  Even after what they started in the shower had continued on their bed and with suck vigor that the pillows and comforter were displace, he'd never gotten the opportunity to apologize for telling her of his love so abruptly and in that moment of carnality.

But then, he wasn't sure she would've accepted that regret either.

He got up and spread the comforter over her before sliding in behind, pulling her back close to his chest.  Shifting her hair off her shoulder, Brand decided to tell her everything that was in his heart, all the feelings he held for her so deep within him.

To ensure he didn't fuck it up again though, he spoke in the old language and so quietly he could hear her sleepy breaths which were louder than his words.

We were eating breakfast, when I decided to reopen the conversation from the night before.  And do it without all the screwy emotions I'd had bubbling around from what I'd been told.

"I'd like to understand about the three-way thingies," I began, training my eyes out one of the dining room windows, unable to look at him.

I felt him go utterly still at my words, his fork poised halfway to his mouth.  After a few seconds, and with a jerk, he continued to eat.  "Understand what?"

I cleared my throat and opened my mouth to speak, determined to get to the bottom of it so it wouldn't rattle around in my head or trip us up later.  "Snake's girl said you wouldn't do the other women in the club without it being as a couple.  Uhm, have sex, I mean."

"Yes.  This is true."  I heard him put down his fork before using his napkin.

"Why?" I asked, trying to work it out in my head.  Not just the mechanics of it but the reason,
his
reasons, for it.

He sighed and pushed his plate to the middle of the table before he reached for my hand.  "I was getting approached by the women, hit-on, and they would sometimes catch me alone.  Making it very clear what they wanted."

"Sex?" I wanted to make sure I understood exactly what he was talking about.

"Yes, sex.  But they wanted to sneak," he said ruefully.  "To cheat on their man.  I did not like this, knowing that the repercussions would be bad for the club as well as the participants."

He stopped and I couldn't help looking at him.  His eyes were on our hands as he drew his thumb across the back of my knuckles.  "But it could be bad if I rejected them as well.  So, I offered a solution.  Although, I did not know it would be accepted with such… enthusiasm."

"I see," I mumbled but not really wanting to understand it at all.

"It did not happen often and with only a handful of couples," his voice went on but his tone held a note of resignation.  "But it seems I earned a bit of a reputation with my solution."

"They, the women, kinda let me know they thought all of that was over because you're married."  I didn't want to admit it, but his words helped ease some of the rawness within me.

He smiled, giving me a glimpse of the dimple.  "Another good reason for our marriage, then, my Reese."

"So, you don't want us to… "

"To what?  Have another join us?"  His smile was gone and he was looking at me like I'd lost my ever loving mind.  "Fuck, no!"  He pulled away and took his plate to the sink.  "Did someone ask you to join them?"

His hands gripped the edge of the counter, and his eyes were pointed out the window as he waited for me to answer.  I hadn't even considered that side of it.  My mind had been caught up in what he'd done before I came along and not anywhere near what I might be asked to do.

"No, baby," I responded, astounded at how much my life had changed in just a couple of damn weeks.  I'd never envisioned having this kind of conversation with anyone.

"Because everyone involved must give their approval, and I absolutely will not give you the okay to have sex with someone else.  Ever."  His voice was very firm.

"That means I'd have to agree if you wanted to… "

"I do not want anyone else, Reese," he interrupted and came back to stand behind my chair.  "And I absolutely will not share."

"You're repeating yourself, Brand," I said with a grin.

"It bore repeating, wife."

Fair enough.

"There's something else I need to talk to you about," I started before I heard the sound of motorcycle pipes coming up the driveway.  I twisted around to look up at my husband.  "Were you expecting company?"

His head was pointed at the door.  "Trey.  And I invited him to lunch."

"Oh-kay," I drawled.  "Is it cool if I make myself scarce?  I don't like how he watches me."

Brand's eyes came back to me and he nodded.  "You need to tell me, my love, if anyone makes you uncomfortable.  I promised to protect you even if that means from others in the club."

I stood and quickly cleared the rest of our dishes, giving them a quick rinse before putting them in the dishwasher as he went outside to greet Trey.  I heard the front door open when I was halfway up the stairs and made sure I ran the rest of the way up the treads.

"The sedan is sitting out on the road before your turnoff," Trey greeted as he swung his leg over the large motorcycle.  "There was another car, a gold one, on the other side.  Two men in each."
