Domenico licked a wet
trail on the side of Seth’s neck and pushed his cock forward. The soft mouth of
Seth’s hole opened up, sucking him in with such intensity he closed his eyes
for a brief moment before gazing into the mirror.

Seth’s lips were parted
and trembling when their eyes met. Seth was such a handsome fucker with those
dark eyebrows, chocolate eyes, and the wide nose. Not to mention that it gave
Dom so much satisfaction to look into Seth’s eyes when he had his dick in that
tight, throbbing hole. He had no idea how he had lived without it for almost a
month. It felt so perfectly natural to be buried in that tight channel, with
that shivering body pressed against Domenico’s front. It was a sensation he
knew so well, yet didn’t at the same time. Delving into the depths of Dom’s
brain was like standing on the edge of a cliff but each time he tried to jump
off to learn his fate, something pulled him back.

With a low moan, he
pressed his lips against the burning skin of Seth’s ear. “You missed this,
huh?”

“I like your force,”
Seth admitted and swallowed hard, his Adam’s apple bobbing with each big
breath. Hearing that made Dom’s dick twitch inside of that tight, firm body.

“Yeah? Am I a forceful
guy?” he asked, pushing his hips against Seth’s ass, now fully embedding his
cock inside. It truly was like coming home, and as he sucked on Seth’s earlobe,
his brain filled with most delicious visions of himself fucking Seth over a
chair, on the cold tiles beneath their feet, in the RV…

Seth’s brows drew
together, but he didn’t try to pull away, as he breathed so hard the mirror
fogged up by his lips. “You can be.” The slight stirring of Seth’s hips was
pure paradise for Dom’s cock.

He held on to that broad
jaw, pushing Seth against the cool porcelain as he slowly withdrew his hips. It
felt as if Seth’s body was trying to keep him inside, pulling him in for dear
life. “This is so fucking familiar.”

Seth’s eyes popped wide
open, clearly begging for Dom to remember. To remember how they met, how they
fucked for the first time. How the devotion in Seth’s eyes came to be. Instead
of saying anything, Seth slowly smiled. With the flush on his face, he looked
like the most ecstatic man alive, completely satisfied with the hard cock up
his ass. “Maybe if you fuck me hard enough you’ll remember everything…”

What a tease. Domenico
gasped and pushed his cock back in, snaking his other hand to Seth’s chest to
pet the slippery muscle. “I just might if you squeeze me like that.”

Seth looked straight
into Dom’s eyes in the mirror and obscenely licked his top lip. So it only took
enough coaxing time to have Seth in this state. Dom would remember that. And
there it was, Seth’s nose making those tiny nervous movements when Dom slammed
into his tight hole again.

Domenico held on to
Seth, pressing his thighs against those tree-trunk thick legs, nipping and
lapping at the salty skin as his balls slapped against Seth’s ass over and over
again. The heat, the friction between their bodies was unbelievable, so much so
that Dom’s back felt cold in the rapidly cooling air of the bathroom.

“You like it when I cum
in you?”

“Yeah, you complete me.”
It sounded strangely sweet in the accompaniment of groans and skin slapping
against skin.

Domenico slammed in at
full force and pulled back Seth’s face, tracing his lips with his tongue,
sucking on them, hungry for all the affection he could get. He was a lost man,
and he’d found his anchor.

He knew he hit the right
pace when Seth began frantically writhing against him, reaching out for kisses,
and his moans got a higher pitch. “There, oh fuck, don’t stop!”

Domenico was happy to
please. With Seth pulled back at an almost impossible angle, the kiss made them
both breathless, the continuous push and pull on Domenico’s cock making him light-headed
as he moved against his lover without thinking.

Seth’s groan of orgasm
was an unmistakable thing of beauty. His ass clenched rhythmically over Dom’s
cock, milking it with a throbbing force. Seth clenched his hands on the sides
of the sink and arched his muscular back, as his hips moved on their own
accord. “So good…”

“You’re mine,” rasped
Domenico, hammering his dick into that lovely, accepting tightness. Those words
felt so right on his tongue that his heart throbbed to the rhythm of their
fucking, his chest clenching like a trap. Seth was trapping his heart and his
dick all at once.

Seth pulled back from
Dom’s lips, panting, but his ass still clenched over Dom’s cock every now and
then. As Seth rested his weight on the sink, he parted his legs more for the
perfect angle, and Dom took full advantage of it, touching the plains of Seth’s
back, grabbing his hips, pinching his buttocks. His hips were moving of their
own accord, quicker, sharper as they slammed against Seth’s ass, until the
moment pressure overflowed and drained deep into that beautiful hole.

The blissful smile on
Seth’s lips was as unexpected as it was exciting. Seth closed his eyes and bit
his lower lip, giving himself up to be pumped full of Dom’s spunk. The
expression on his face was so hypnotizing it made Dom know who he was even if
he didn’t remember the past. He was Seth’s lover. Seth’s protector. And he’d do
anything to stay where he was at now.

He was sad to leave the
warmth of Seth’s insides, but there would be other times, so he slowly
withdrew, pulling Seth back for a loose embrace. He needed to catch his breath.

Seth was right there
next to him, ready to provide kisses and caresses. He turned around, and his
strong arms wrapped around Dom’s chest. Domenico couldn’t help but steal a
glance of his reddened buttocks in the mirror. He found it hard to speak, so he
buried his face on Seth’s chest and groaned.

“I want to sleep naked
with you,” Seth whispered and kissed the side of Dom’s head.

“Yeah, you pumped me out
pretty well,” Domenico chuckled. He pulled on Seth’s cock, which was already
soft after grinding against the sink.

Seth let out a moan that
sounded like a complaint. “I can’t help it. You do me so good.”

Domenico chuckled and
bit on Seth’s chin, pulling on the hair there. This evening had told him
everything about the sparks he had felt from day one. “Shower.”

Chapter 9

Dom was on his third
Twix that day, and alternated between them and cigarettes. Seth kind of liked the
combination of tobacco smoke and chocolate. All he needed with it was a coffee.
They left the motel early in the morning, yet on completely different terms.
There was so much of Domenico Acerbi in the way he fucked that Seth felt as if
the amnesia had never swallowed Dom’s brain.

Waking up from that
dream was so drastic that Seth needed cigarettes himself to get through the
morning. He would have downed a tequila if he weren’t driving. After the
routine of a morning prayer for Dom’s health, they left Pennsylvania and Seth
had more time to think than he would have liked. After almost a month that
passed since the accident, he was slowly coming to realize that Dom might never
get his memory back. That he’d never remember how they got together or what he
truly felt for Seth.

At least the night
before showed Seth that the new Dom wanted him with as much ferocity as the
pre-accident one. On top of that, Dom exhibited so many of Domenico’s little
quirks, attitude problems, and instincts, that filling in the blanks for him
didn’t feel like building a house from scratch. It was more like rebuilding
after a tornado. The foundations were there.

What was Seth to do
after all? How much was he supposed to cry? Sometimes he got sad beyond belief,
thinking of the times they’d shared, of the way Dom had promised to protect
him, and how he didn’t betray him even when it meant killing Tassa. But life
went on, and the most important thing was that Domenico was alive, willing to
listen, willing to be his. That was all that mattered.

Getting his ass fucked
into oblivion helped as well.

Domenico let out a low
growl, closing his eyes in ecstasy as he sucked the chocolate bar farther into
his mouth. “This is the fucking food of gods,” he declared.

That was one thing that
was odd. The old Domenico never ate mass-produced chocolate bars, and certainly
not that many at once. He was the espresso and tiny chocolate torte kind of
guy. Now he even drank sweet Starbucks coffee. He did complain about it being
too milkshake-like, but he still drank it eagerly. He also bought himself men’s
fashion mags and took loads of time browsing through them to pass the time. The
old Dom wouldn’t be caught dead with those despite clearly being interested in
fashion.

Seth gave Dom a weary
look. “We can get something better once we stop at some supermarket.”

Domenico eyed him from
the passenger seat where he sat with the backrest lowered, and with his feet on
the dashboard. “Like what? You think we could get Godiva around here?”

Oh, well, at least he
still remembered one of his favorite chocolatiers. “I think you’re getting
better every day.” Seth smiled at him. “You still mostly like the same stuff.”

Domenico’s bright eyes
turned toward him like twin torches. “Yeah? What else?”

These chats would never
bore Seth. Especially on the dull Ohio side roads. “Your personality. It’s not
like you’re someone else. You started working out in almost the same way you
did before. I love watching you do push-ups in the morning.”

Domenico gave him a
toothy smile and swallowed the remaining chocolate. “Yeah? You’re probably
imagining me pumping you like this.” He wiggled his eyebrows.

Seth pouted and looked
straight ahead. “Am not.”

Something light hit his
cheek, and he realized it was a crumpled Twix wrapper. “You so are,” Domenico chuckled,
looking healthy and happy with himself, despite the white dressing over his
face. The wound was still bright red and twisted, but it seemed to heal well
overall. Unfortunately Peter was no plastic surgeon, and some of the skin
healed into nasty puckers. In the future, once they were safe and far away from
all the mafia bullshit, they could get some corrective surgery for Dom. Seth
would get the money for Dom even if they never did manage to access those
secret accounts. Seth didn’t think the scar was a problem, Dom was the image of
perfection for him anyway, but he knew the extent of Dom’s vanity too well to
believe Dom wasn’t affected by getting grazed by a bullet over his face. He’d
probably rather limp on both legs.

“So full of yourself,”
Seth said in the end with a groan. So he let go a bit in sex. It was hardly a
reason to mock him.

“It’s your fault,” Dom said,
but the moment his hand gently squeezed Seth’s thigh, it became clear he didn’t
mean it in a bad way. Domenico stared ahead as he opened yet another chocolate
bar with his teeth. What was it with all the chocolate? Did Dom’s healing body
simply need all that sugar?

Not knowing what to say
to that at first, Seth focused on the empty road, the gloomy sky, and sighed,
unable to brush off the happiness at the touch he so craved. But when he looked
around, there was a lone figure in sight, a young man on the side of the road,
holding out his thumb. It reminded Seth of how they were stranded in that godforsaken
forest so his heart budged, and he slowed down as they approached. It wouldn’t
hurt to give the guy a lift to the nearest town.

Domenico yawned and bit
into his chocolate with a low hum. “I think if we have more sex, I’ll remember
everything. I feel like it unlocked something in my brain,” he said, and it was
hard to guess whether he was joking or not.

“Yeah, what?” Seth
asked, already smiling at the guy far off on the road. He was slim under a
colorful coat, with blond dreadlocks falling out from underneath a woolen cap,
which matched the huge striped scarf looped around his neck like a boa.

Domenico shrugged and
pushed the whole Milky Way into his mouth at once. It was as if he were a
chocolate shredder. “It’s body memory, I guess.”

Seth shook his head and
stopped on the side of the road. The worst thing was that this was exactly what
Dom would do if he lost his memory. Try to make the best of it and get as much
sex and chocolate as possible while he was at it.

Dom looked back at him
with a frown, but before he could swallow and voice his question, the side door
of the RV opened, and the guy came in with a wide grin.

“Thanks guys! I
appreciate it. The weather’s shit.”

Seth smiled back at him.
“Yeah, no problem. It looks like it might rain at any moment.” He tried to
pretend he didn’t see Domenico’s scowl, but Dom wouldn’t have it.

“Is that a friend of
yours?” Domenico asked, shutting the glove compartment where he kept all his
food.

“Um, no. He’s a
hitchhiker. Obviously.”

The guy in the back
smiled like he’d just won the lottery and slammed the door shut. “I’m Theon,
I’m heading to Ohio Springs, but anything that gets me closer is fine.”

Domenico flashed Seth a
gaze that could kill and hissed, “What the fuck? We have our stuff in there.”

“It’s cold outside,”
Seth whispered back as he had a look at the guy getting comfortable in the
back.

“Hey, you guys mind me
making some tea?” Theon asked and took off his hat.

“No, that’s fine, go
on!” Seth yelled back.

“Black coffee,” Domenico
yelled as if he hadn’t just questioned Theon even getting on board. The guy
waved at them and started looking through kitchen cupboards under Domenico’s
watchful eye. The hitchhiker clearly wasn’t his type. Seth supposed in
Domenico’s eyes the poor guy looked unkept, with his hair in messy dreadlocks, and
in baggy clothes that were crumpled and clearly worn. The knitted hat and scarf
even had that fuzz of used wool all around them.

“What got you out here
in this weather?” Seth asked. “Did your car break down?” He was set on ignoring
Dom’s rudeness to the poor guy.

Theon leaned against the
counter, scratching his blond stubble. “Nah, I don’t want to contribute to
global warming. A personal choice, you see, I have nothing against people who
need cars,” he said.

Domenico’s face twisted
into a crooked smile. It was his ‘I told you so’ face.

Seth would not let him
have the upper hand and pretended to find the answer completely reasonable.
“Yeah, I get it. Back in Italy I had a Vespa.”

“Don’t you have a lot of
public transport in Europe?” asked Theon, and Domenico was already opening his
glove compartment and sneaking out a cookie, which he bit into with a huge
smile.

“Y-yeah…” Seth frowned
slightly. “But it allowed me to go whenever I wanted to.”

“I think it’s a matter
of priorities. I hitchhiked here all the way from Anchorage, Alaska,” he said
as if he deserved a medal.

Domenico chomped on the
cookie and looked back at Theon, who was filling cups with hot water. “Must
have been interesting in December.”

Theon shrugged. “I
couchsurf.”

“What did you do in
Alaska?” Seth asked, already regretting taking the guy in. But because of Dom’s
attitude, he wouldn’t admit it in a million years.

Theon maneuvered toward
them and handed Dom his coffee before settling down on the floor behind their
seats. “There was a situation with poachers killing large amounts of seals so
we created a think tank about it and decided to provide help that wasn’t just
online advocacy. If their skin is stained with paint, they will be left alone.”

Seth’s frown deepened,
but he kept his eyes on the road, trying not to get too engaged in all of this.
“So what now? Painting squirrels in Ohio?”

Theon grinned. He wasn’t
bad-looking, but he and Seth would not be a match made in heaven. “Noo, my
wife-thing had our baby,” he said rummaging through his pocket.

Domenico blinked.
Apparently even with his misogynistic attitude, he did value mothers. “How long
have you been in the north?”

“Almost ten months. But,
you know, there’s more of us on the planet while there’s less and less seals.”
Theon pulled out a photo and pushed it into Dom’s hand. “That’s my kid. Cute,
right? My little seed of love on earth.”

Seth looked to the dark
sky. This would be a long car ride. “Yeah. Love seed.”

Domenico shrugged, and
as he spoke, his voice became darker. “I just thought if
I
planted a
love seed
in a woman, I’d want to be around when the kid comes.”

Since when did Dom want
to plant fucking ‘love seeds’?

Theon didn’t share Dom’s
sentiment. “She lives in a commune, so the girls were there to help her with
the birth. I was set to participate via satellite, but there was a clash with
the rangers at the time.” He sighed. “She gave birth while standing, so it went
quick, and when I got back, everything was over.”

As annoying as Theon
was, Domenico’s scowl and the way he put the rest of the cookie into the glove
compartment was priceless.

Seth snorted and pushed
the topic just to see how Dom would react. “Really? Standing? That must be
painful.”

Theon shrugged, warming
his hands around the cup. “That is the best position. It gives the woman the
power over the whole process.”

Domenico snapped and
looked back at Theon. “Are you fucking mental? I’m trying to eat!”

Seth burst out laughing.
That would teach Dom. He didn’t know what, but he was sure it would. “Oh! Look,
a gas station.” This day was just getting better and better. He turned the RV
to get to the store. There was a highway on the other side of the building, so
there should be plenty of stuff available.

Domenico growled. “Maybe
Theon pops out to do the shopping?” he suggested.

Seth raised his
eyebrows, but pulled out ten dollars and gave it to Theon. “That would be kind
of you. Get me a muffin. You, Dom?”

Domenico sighed. “Some good-looking
ham, preferably red meat. And some nice chocolate, maybe Lindt, or something?
And some Snickers bars.”

The guy nodded and got
off the RV with a wide smile, and as soon as he disappeared in the store, Dom
gave Seth a haunted look. “Go!”

Seth spread his hands to
the sides. “What?”

Domenico rolled his
eyes. “Do you really want to travel with this seal lover? It’s not worth the
ten bucks!”

“Oh come on! It’s our
good deed for the day. I had a friend who hitchhiked all over the States. Once
I listened to his story, I promised myself I would give people lifts.”

Domenico frowned at him.
“Did your friend have a dirty mop for a haircut and talked about birth as if it
were his fucking fetish?”

Seth scowled at him.
“You always have to make things seem worse than they are. But I suppose that if
you were pregnant, I wouldn’t leave you like that. Even if you wore aloha
shirts all the time.”

Domenico gasped. “You’re
fucked in the head! And a perv!” He shook his head, distressed. “I’m seriously
gonna puke. You should rip your own stomach with a scalpel! And I mean, what
guy would willingly participate in a birth? It’s madness!”

“I don’t know. If my
wife got pregnant, I think I’d want to be there to support her.” Dark thoughts
of what could have happened to Lucrezia, closed in as quickly as the clouds in
the sky.
