What did that mean?
His eyes quickly came upon a sign at the side of the road. It read
:
Welcome to the Township of Glor

"Thank you," he said.
They all walked a little farther into town.
Adam could see a few people looking out through the windows now. And it wasn't long before they came out of their doors.
Adam felt nervous, but not scared that they were going to hurt him. There were older people, younger people. Even a few children.

"Now we'll have to get everyone together," James said. "They'll have to talk to you to before they make a decision."
"Yeah," Clark said. He had come up beside them now. "They'll need to make sure that you're not here to cause any trouble."
Adam looked at Clark, then turned to look at his group. The rain battered down on their faces. It drenched their clothes. They were tired. They were hungry. But they looked hopeful.
His eyes settled on Shelly, the girl he had started all of this with, and he smiled.
No, they weren't here to cause any trouble. They were here to find a home.
Acknowledgements
This marks the end of a three year journey.
I would like to thank my family and friends for all of their support and encouragement in writing this book. I truly appreciate your kind words of support during this process.
I would also like to give special thanks to my mother, and to my oldest friend, Patti. From reading my manuscript and giving me notes on it, to calming me down whenever I stressed over every little detail, both of you have been unbelievably helpful in getting me where I needed to be.
Finally, I would also like to thank you, the reader, for giving an unknown author a chance. I hope you enjoyed the book and look forward to the upcoming books I plan to get out there.
