It
was too much yet not enough. Her head swam as each tender caress fueled her
desire.

“I
feel it. I can feel your innocence,” he whispered, voice laced with something
akin to awe.

He
pressed his fingers deep and she nearly came off the bed. Her spine arched as
his mouth closed over the bud of her sex. Her muscles tightened and she
quivered uncontrollably.

The
waves of pleasure washed over her. She was taken away on a tide of sensations
too strong to describe. He continued to touch her and she cried out as relief
unraveled inside of her.

That
knot that formed in her belly the first time she met Kelly had been tied and
tightened for ten long years, and was suddenly coming undone.

He
cradled her hips and kissed his way up her stomach. When he reached her breasts
he cupped them in his large palms and licked and sucked at the tender buds
until she was again quivering and arching into him. The knot tightened once
more.

His
mouth found hers and when he kissed her she tasted her own essence on his lips.
Need took hold of her and she gripped his hair in her fists.

He
chuckled. “Are you ready?”

“Yes,”
she said on a breathless sigh, pulling his mouth back to hers.

After
kissing her a while longer, Kelly eased off the bed and stood. His fingers went
to the pin at his hip and he unraveled the long train of wool covering him,
dropping the garment to the floor.

She
gasped when he stood before her in nothing but a display of male perfection.
His erection was large and thick, dark at the tip. That was definitely going to
hurt.

Her
eyes traveled over his taut flesh, catching on each unique tattoo. She wanted
to read them all and know what Gaelic secrets they told. His chest rose and
fell and his hands were fisted at his side. She recognized then that he was
exercising great control and restraint.

She
met his gaze. “Make love to me, Kelly.”

He
hesitated only a moment before returning to the bed. It occurred to her that he
might be nervous. That was silly, but she saw it there in his face. Reaching
out a hand, she invited him back to her.

He
took hold of her hand and his body blanketed hers. His mouth found hers and he
kissed her deeply. Strong hands covered her curves, caressing and plumping her
flesh. The heat of his arousal burned into her stomach where it lay heavily
against her skin.

Fingers
traced her folds and she opened as his touch delved deep. His hips fit between
hers and her thighs stretched. Kelly was a big man and she was a small woman.

He
withdrew his fingers, replacing their presence with the broad head of his
length. She gasped as the head stretched her. His hips lifted as he coated his
flesh with her arousal, making small dips into her.

“I
don’t want to hurt you,” he whispered, his face pressed to her shoulder.

“I’ll
be okay. Once the pain passes it will only feel good, right?”

He
pressed deeper and her eyes shut as the pressure of him filling her shook her
to the core. Her body stretched around him and she gritted her teeth. His lips
pressed into her neck and he whispered, “I’m sorry.”

His
hips thrust forward and a whimper left her throat as he pierced her innocence,
but with the sharp intrusion came the comforting sense of belonging to him.

Kelly’s
arms tightened around her as he breathed hard. “Are you okay?”

She
was full. Definitely full, but the pain was gone. “I’m okay.”

He
lifted and she was shocked at the sheen of tears in his eyes. His lips pressed
into hers and he began to slowly glide in and out of her. Her body pulsed as he
gently withdrew and thrust into her again. Each motion brought about a wave of
sensations she was not yet familiar with.

His
mouth kissed her shoulders and breasts as he filled her. Her knees closed
around his hips and her hands gripped his shoulders. His motions quickened, as
did the beat of her heart.

His
mouth was everywhere. It was utter possession. It was as though he were sipping
from her soul, taking pieces away and putting new parts into play. She’d never
be the same again, would always wear his mark, always belong to him. The
thought was empowering, directing her motions, heating her passion.

Their
flesh melded as he filled her. It still hurt in a strange and satisfying way,
but the sensation of belonging to him was so potent all she felt was euphoric
pleasure. More, more, more, she wanted all of him. Her fingers tightened over
his muscled back as her lips dragged over his dewy flesh. His scent breathed
into her lungs and she knew why she’d waited for him. It had always been him.

Dark
blue eyes stared into hers as he whispered, “I love you, Ashlynn.”

The
confession was so raw and meaningful, hidden secrets hinted in his words. Her
body reacted. She trembled, her fingers tightening over his muscled back. His
thrusts quickened, dragging out her climax and he stiffened, pressed into her
as deeply as two bodies could unite. Her channel pulsed as his body throbbed inside
of her. Heat filled her as an expression of wonder crossed his face.

He
pulled her into his arms and whispered her name over and over again.

* * * *

Kelly
needed a moment to recover. Never in his life had sex been so all encompassing.
Never before had a woman felt so right in his arms. His body continued to quake
as his release left him. There was nothing separating them. Skin to skin, heart
to heart, she was irrevocably his.

Lying
with his body inside of her for several minutes after their climaxes, he slowly
withdrew and fell to his side. He pulled her to him, unable to stop touching
her. “How do you feel?”

She
caught her breath. Her breasts rose with each inhalation. She had an incredible
body, toned and curved with softness in all the right places. He’d tried his
best to be gentle with her. He’d nearly wept when he heard her sharp gasp of
pain as he took her virginity.

“I’m
tired.”

“Are
you sore?”

“A
little, but it’s a good sore.”

He
eased off the bed and went to the bathroom. He found washcloths and towels in
the small pantry. Running the warm water, he dampened a washcloth and returned
to the bed. She was already falling asleep.

He
gently parted her thighs and she startled. “What are you doing?”

“Let
me clean you up.”

She
blinked at him, likely thinking that was her job. She was his wife and he
wanted to make sure he hadn’t hurt her. When she opened her mouth he cut her
off saying, “Let me take care of my wife, Ashlynn.”

She
hesitated a moment before leaning back on the bed and spreading her thighs.
Pink traces of his seed and her virginity showed in her swollen folds. He
winced as he carefully tended to her.

When
he was finished he pulled her to his chest and held her tight. She was already
asleep, but he needed to hold her in his arms. It would get better with time.
The next time there would be no pain and she’d experience how great it could
be.

Chapter Fifteen

Ashlynn
awoke with the birds greeting the dawn. As she eased quietly out of bed her
body protested. Muscles she’d never used were sore in ways she couldn’t
explain. Finding her robe, she used the bathroom to freshen up then went to
find something to eat.

She’d
barely eaten the night before, her nerves too wild to get down more than a few
bites. As she stood in the kitchen staring at the blushing horizon, she thought
back over the events of her wedding.

The
ceremony had been beautiful and the reception an emotional affair. She wondered
how her father was this morning and if the McCulloughs helped him clean up from
the party.

She
finished her banana and tossed the peel in the trash. Quietly entering the
bedroom, she smiled. Her husband lay on his back breathing evenly. Climbing
onto the mattress, she sat at his side, watching the gentle rise and fall of
his chest.

Her
fingers touched his ribs, admiring the inked image of Christ on the cross. Beneath
it were words in a language she didn’t know.

“I
love waking up with your hands on me.”

She
jumped and hid her guilty hand in her lap.

“Good
morning, Mrs. McCullough.”

A
smile twisted at the corner of her mouth. “Good morning, Mr. McCullough.”

“How’s
my lovely wife this morning?”

“Good.
Did you sleep well?”

He
stretched and his body distracted her again. She’d never seen so much naked
male flesh before. “I slept great.”

Her
gaze paused at the peak in the sheets just at his hips.

“See
something you like, love?”

Her
appraising gaze jerked to his and her cheeks burned. “Sorry.”

He
smirked and pulled the sheet away, exposing himself. “No apology necessary.
What’s mine is yours. Touch me.”

Her
lips parted. Was he telling her to or just letting her know she had his
permission? “Is that what you want?”

“I
want us to know each other’s bodies completely.”

“I…I
don’t know how.”

“I’ll
show you. Take off your robe.”

Her
fingers unknotted the tie at her waist and Kelly pushed the fabric aside.

“Mmm…”
he said, leaning up to her chest.

She
gasped as he sucked one soft nipple into his mouth. When he pulled away the wet
tip was dark and hard. He did the same to the other one sending shivers over
her body.

He
sat back, folding his arms behind his head and stared at her chest. “You have
perfect breasts, Ashlynn.”

She
swallowed, not sure if she should thank him for the compliment. Her gaze
drifted to his hips and he laced his fingers with hers. His legs were covered
with dark wiry hair.

His
knees parted and he squeezed her hand. “Sit between my knees. I want to teach
you something.”

She
climbed over his muscular thigh and settled in the space between his legs. She
couldn’t quite look at him there, though she wanted to.

“Touch
me,” he instructed.

With
slow movements, she lifted her hand and ran her fingers over his length. He
moaned.

“Wrap
your hand around my cock, love.”

She
blinked, a little taken aback at the term he used. Her fingers curled around
him. He was hard yet soft. Her thumb traced the ridge at the top and he
twitched. “Like this?”

“Mm-hm.”
His eyes shut, his expression blissful. “Now slowly pump your fist up and
down.”

It
was an odd angle, but she did as he asked. Kelly’s hips lifted and he sighed in
contentment. Experimenting with various holds, she realized he liked when she gripped
him tightly. His skin moved with her fingers and a small pearl of dew appeared
at the tip.

She
glanced at him and found him studying her, a half-smile on his lips. “Did you
want to taste me?”

Images
of her computer searches came to mind. She didn’t know if she wanted to do
that
.
“You like that?” He’d already confessed he did.

“Very
much.”

It
was strange how his affirmation quickly altered her perception. If he liked
blowjobs that meant other women had given them to him. Sharp jealousy bit at
her insides.
Well, there would be no other women from here on out, Mr.
McCullough.

Slowly
leaning forward, she licked at the slo
pe
of his flesh. He hissed and her gaze jerked to his. The taste on her tongue was
subtle.

His
fingers caressed her cheek and he smiled. “You don’t have to do anything you’re
uncomfortable with.”

There
was no way she wasn’t going to do things with him other women had done. She had
a lot of memories to erase and she needed to get over her reluctance now. This
was her husband and she wanted to please him more than any other woman could.

“Tell
me how.”

“Why
don’t you kneel on the floor and I’ll show you?”

She
frowned, but nodded. Climbing off the bed, she lowered herself to the ground.
Kelly stood and went into the bathroom. She heard the water running and then he
was back a moment later.

His
eyes darkened as he looked down at her. His fingers ran over her hair and
caressed the side of her face lovingly. “Are you sure?”

“I’m
sure.”

His
thumb trailed over her lower lip. “Open your mouth.”

Her
lips parted and he stepped close. His fist closed over his flesh as he settled
the head of his arousal on her tongue.

“Close
your lips around me, Ashlynn, and suck gently.”

She
blinked as her mouth closed around him. His hips moved forward and he filled
her mouth. Instinctively she pulled away.
