So forgive me if my mind isn't working too well." She got up and moved to the little kitchen before heading to the bathroom.

Dan gulped down his drink, slamming the glass down on the table and chasing her into the bathroom. He smiled as he heard her squeal.

"What are we going to do about the fools who attacked the car?" Anthony asked, sitting at the table sipping his drink. "I'd like to ring their foolish necks, but I have to admit if I would have smelled Lacey's scent too, I don't know how I would have reacted even knowing she wasn't mine."

"That is the only reason I'm not sending them back to
New Barony.
They'll know how to handle this next time it comes up with the other females around. I'd rather have them here then bring in new warriors and go through this again with them, but I'm going to have Lacey make a schedule for the woman and if they’re even close to going into their cycle, they’re to stay inside in their quarters till it's over. We'll let the other women deal with them directly."

"Hey Anthony, I could use some help here?" Dan yelled from the bathroom.

"Go on, I'll go down and grab us some snacks for later. You have that chocolate mousse in the fridge, right?" Isaac asked as stepped into his pants.

"Yes, on the top shelf and bring the extra cans of whipped cream. We might as well have some fun." He laughed, joining Dan in the bathroom.

Smiling, Isaac closed the door behind him and made his way to the kitchen where Dee was making herself an egg salad sandwich. She looked startled to see him.

"Sorry, I didn't realize you would...well, you know?" She blushed and he laughed.

"Relax, I just came for some snacks and I'll be out of your way." Isaac stopped when she shook her head and backed away. “You don't want to be near any female right now. If she scents me on you, the cat will go crazy. Let me get out of the way first." She flipped her eggs onto her dish and moved to the other side of the room.

"It is going to take time to get used to all of this. What else can you tell me about the cycle? I know it doesn't stop when she’s pregnant since my brother is going through the same thing right now with Maya, but what can we expect?" he asked, pulling out the desserts and piling them onto the tray along with three containers of whipped cream and chocolate syrup.

Dee laughed, seeing his trap. "Someone is going to have fun, but we don't know. None of us have been pregnant or around men while on our cycle. We usually barricade ourselves inside till it passes which is usually around three to four days depending on how bad the cycle is." She sniffed the air. "From what I can smell, you won't have a long one. I have a feeling you already have a little bundle of joy coming which will take the ease off her, but she'll still be clinging and hate others around you. So you might want to hurry back." She waved at him as he nodded and left the room.

How are things going there? Maya is sleeping right now,"
