“Tyler wait, don’t go.” I
breathed.

I stood there and heard
nothing but silence, where was he? Did he drop the robe and
leave?

Suddenly the shower
curtain flung back and there stood Tyler in all of his naked manly
glory. I couldn’t help but stare at the sight before me. Every
muscle was taught with tension and his cock was already bobbing
upward fully erect.

“Want some company?” He
smiled.

I nodded, and he stepped
under the steaming spray of water with me. He reached behind him
and pulled the curtain closed, the next thing I knew he was pulling
me roughly against his chiseled chest, and his lips were crashing
over mine. Damn this man. He was getting under my skin like a pesky
splinter, and I didn’t have the proper tools to remove him. I
wanted him, needed him.

Once his lips become free
of mine, he pulled himself back and stared into my eyes. I wasn’t
sure what it was that made me feel so damn vulnerable with this
man, but it wasn’t something I had any sort of power
over.

“Turn around and face
forward.” He commanded.

I did as he told, and
faced away from him. He reached around and cupped my breasts in his
massive hands, and then let one hand slide lower. I stood there
helpless as he toyed with the top of my sex, making my legs weak,
and my brain turn to mush.

“Bend forward.” He
whispered.

Normally I would have
rejected such demands from another person, but something told me
that Tyler would have no such thing. He was in charge, and I was
fine with giving him utter control.

I bent over and felt his
hand caress my ass, and then venture lower to the entrance of my
pussy. God I wanted him inside of me.

“Holy fuck you are wet.”
He hissed.

His words gave me so much
pride. Of course I was wet, I was standing in a shower with the
most gorgeous man that I’d ever met…who wouldn’t be primed and
ready?

I felt the thick head of
his cock probe my entrance, and suddenly he thrust forward burying
himself to the hilt in my hot sex. He was lodged so damn deep that
I felt breathless.

“Touch yourself.” He
commanded.

I did as he said and slid
my hand down until I made contact with my clit. I began to rub, and
the sensation of it and his cock sliding in and out of me made me
want to go mad. The sounds of the water pouring over our skin, and
his thigh slapping against my ass sent me over the cliff faster
than I expected. I let out a gurgled scream and had to brace one
hand on the shower wall to keep from falling down. The raw power of
this man was quickly becoming my kryptonite. He was owning my body
with such precision that I was helpless, and I really wanted to
drive him as crazy as he was making me.

I leaned forward and let
his shaft fall from my depths and then I turned around to look at
him. His eyes were dark and lust filled. I smiled at him and then
dropped to the shower floor on my knees. I was mouth level with his
impressive member, and really wanted to taste him. So I
did.

I wrapped my lips around
him, and without warning took him all the way to the back of my
throat. He tasted divine. There was his essence mixed with mine and
the combination was intoxicating to the maximum degree. I wrapped a
hand around the base of his cock and pumped in time with the
movements of my mouth.

I felt his thighs tense
up, and knew it wouldn’t be long before he exploded down my waiting
throat. I proceeded to stroke his member, and his sack with vigor,
and then I felt him harden even more in my mouth.

“Oh fuck!” He
yelled.

Just then I tasted the
salty sweet flavor of his release on my tongue and slide down my
throat. Damn it was delicious.

I sucked him until his
climax was complete and then I licked him clean with wispy motions
of my tongue. Once I was done I stood up and looked at him again,
this time I
really
looked at him. What I saw there was something I’d never seen
before from anyone in my life.
Affection.

The feelings at that
moment took me so off guard that I had to reach behind me and brace
myself on the shower wall once again. My heart fluttered and my
pulse picked up against every nerve in my body.

It couldn’t be. I’d only
known this man a short time. Why was I actually having feelings for
him? I could try and tell myself that it was all bullshit, but in
reality I would be lying to myself and him.

I was falling in love with
him
.

Seventeen

After the episode in the
shower, Tyler took Maggie back downstairs to eat dinner. They
stayed in relative silence until the meal was finished.

“That was really good
Tyler thank you for cooking.” She smiled.

“Not a problem. Speaking
of dinner, my brother and his wife were wondering if you would want
to come over Friday night? They have some friends flying in from
New York for the weekend and Emily thought you should come
by.”

“I don’t know Tyler, I’m
kind of an outsider, and besides I wasn’t very nice to your sister
in law the first time we met.”

“I won’t take no for an
answer, you’re coming and that’s final.” He winked.

“When you put it like
that, how can I refuse? Should I bring anything? Maybe a side dish
or a dessert.”

“Nope, Jake and I have the
cooking covered. Oh and my parents will be there so you will get to
meet them too.”

Tyler saw her face contort
in some strange way, and he knew she had something on her mind.
“I’ve seen that look before, what’s up?”

“Uh, maybe I shouldn’t go.
I mean meeting your parents and all…that’s kind of heavy
Tyler.”

“Relax, it’s not like I’m
introducing you to your future in laws here, it’s just dinner with
family and friends.”

“Okay.” She smiled
meekly.

This woman was an enigma
to Tyler; she was passionate, but so reserved in some aspects. He
still wasn’t sure what to make of her just yet.

“Oh, I was thinking, if
you want to dig deeper into the thing about your father, maybe my
dad could lead us in the right direction. He has tons of
connections, and knows damn near everyone in the Tri
County.”

“Yeah, that sounds good I
guess.”

“So…are you ever going to
tell me what the deal is with your father?”

“What do you mean
Tyler?”

“Well obviously something
is going on, and every time you talk about him you clam
up.”

“It’s not really something
I want to discuss, its…personal.”

“Did he hurt you?” Tyler
asked straight out.

Maggie let out a puff of
air, and he could see her eyes filling with unshed tears. Tyler
knew he hit a sensitive area with her and needed to tread lightly
or it would blow up in his face. He didn’t want to hurt her, and he
damn sure didn’t want anyone else to hurt her.

“If I tell you Tyler, I
know you will walk out the door and never look back…”

“Try me
Maggie.”

“Fine. Yes my father hurt
me. He was a sadistic bastard, and he controlled my mother with an
iron fist. It all started as just that, he would not let my mom
work, and made sure she was always at home and at his beck and
call. I pretty much stayed to myself when I was a kid, I hid out in
my room reading books and doing things that kids do.” Maggie then
took on a more serious look.

“When I turned twelve, my
father started…visiting me at night. He told me that’s what all
dads did with their daughters, and made me think it was okay for
him to be there. I didn’t tell anyone because I thought it was
right, I just didn’t know better.

“It went on for years; he
would come in, touch me, and leave.”

“When I turned sixteen,
things became more serious. I had a sweet sixteen party, and that
night my father came to my room and demanded more from me. He told
me I was his princess, that he wouldn’t let any other boy touch
me.”

“He took everything from
me that night Tyler, and I hated myself and him ever since. When I
turned eighteen and graduated high school I got the hell
out.”

“Didn’t you tell anyone?
Maybe your mom?” Tyler angrily asked.

“That’s the thing, I did
tell my mom. She knew what was going on and she was so afraid of my
dad that she said nothing. She didn’t protect me.”

“Fuck!” Tyler bit
out.

He stood up and began to
pace the floor. This was just too much information to figure
out.

“So why the hell are you
here? Why did she want you to come back to the place that was a
nightmare for you Maggie?”

“I don’t know Tyler; I
hate this house and what it represents. I would rather bulldoze it
down than have to spend any time here.

“I know you probably want
to go now, and I understand that. I’m sorry I’m so fucked
up…”

“Don’t Maggie, this isn’t
your fault dammit it’s his. Don’t try to me a martyr. I’m not going
anywhere okay?”

“Okay.” She
whispered.

Tyler sat back down beside
her and wrapped her in his arms. The overwhelming need to protect
her was running through his veins, and he would not let her think
that what happened to her in the past was any way her
fault.

She needed him, and he
would be there for as long as she would let him.

Eighteen

I couldn’t for the life of
me understand why I would spill the secrets of my past to Tyler.
Yes I was comfortable with him, but there were several people in my
life that had me on a comfort level. Richard and Hayley were two of
them but I never once poured my story to them, I just couldn’t. I
didn’t want people looking at me with sympathy, I was stronger than
that. Tyler broke me down and saw through me, and although I wasn’t
completely at ease with that idea, it was okay. He made me feel
like everything would be alright, and he would help me in any way
he could to make me feel safe and secure.

I woke up Friday morning,
and Tyler was asleep on the couch. I didn’t ask him to stay but
after the things I’d told him, I was happy that he didn’t tuck tail
and run. He was so much stronger than me; I would have hit the door
with so much force it would have looked like superman was fleeing
the premises.

I made my way to the
kitchen and started a pot of coffee and as I looked out the window
into the back yard I felt strong warm arms wrap around me from
behind.

“Good morning beautiful.”
Tyler said as he pressed a kiss to the top of my head.

I turned around in his
arms, and looked at the shirtless man standing in front of
me.

“Morning. How did you
sleep last night?” I inquired.

“I would have slept a lot
better had I been with you, but the couch isn’t that
bad.”

“I’m sorry; I kind of
needed to be alone last night after everything.”

“I understand. So what’s
on the agenda today?” He questioned.

“Not sure, I’d like to go
back to city hall but I think it’s pointless. Maybe you were right
and your dad can help me out.”

“I’m sure he can. Why
don’t we get dressed and head over to Jake and Emily’s for the day.
Jake went to the airport to pick up his friends, but we could hang
out with Emily and Maisy for the day.”

“Sounds like fun, give me
about thirty minutes to get ready and then we can head
out.”

“Take you time, I’ll make
a quick breakfast while you do okay?”

“Thank you
Tyler.”

Waking up with him around
was just
too
normal. It was like we had been together forever and not the
brief time we had. I wanted to be wierded out by it all but just
couldn’t. I knew that Tyler would never hurt me, and I didn’t plan
on destroying him either.

Once was finished getting
ready I trotted down the stairs and Tyler was waiting for me with a
plate of toast and fruit. “Something light? I know they have a big
feast planned for the evening.” He chuckled.

“Spoiling me already? You
should know that’s probably not a good idea, I might get used to
it.” I winked.

We got in his truck and
drove through town on the way to his brother’s house.

“So you brother and his
wife seem like nice people, how did they meet?” I asked.

“They met in college; they
were in New York studying to be lawyers. I think they drifted
apart, but ended up finding each other. Jake had a law firm in New
York, but they moved here right before my niece was
born.”

“Why would he just leave
everything he worked for?” I wondered.

“Gave it all up for Emily.
He still has a job in Dallas, but that man is crazy about her. I
think if she asked him he would give up a kidney for
her.”

“That’s not such a bad
thing; at least they love each other. It must be nice to have that
sort of commitment from someone.”
