“You
know,” he said as he set her cup of coffee on the edge of the
tub, along with two more magic pills, “I don't think you were
all that tired yesterday.”

She
tried to hide her smile behind a mountain of bubbles, but he saw her.
“Mhmm. Well, just to let you know, I'm not complaining.
Whatever you need, I've got you.” She knew what he meant and
giggled quietly to herself. Cedric wanted to pay her back for
introducing him to her best friend and Morgan was happy the gorgeous
blonde man seemed to approve of her Angel. Cedric's back pocket let
out a long wolf whistle and the man's face lit up, then he was back
to his feet, pulling his phone from his pocket.

“That's
him,” he looked from his phone to Morgan, then back to his
phone. He read the message aloud, “oh, my Sticky Buns likes
pizza. Bitch can eat pizza every mother fucking day. Did you get the
muffins? Remember, don't be giving her wrong muffins. No banana
fucking nut or whatever the hell they put in those little shits. If
it ain't bluefuckingberry, it's wrong.”

Morgan
had to hold on to the side of the tub to prevent herself from sliding
down. Her laughter echoed through the bathroom, making Cedric wince.
It wasn't just Angel's message that was making her laugh but the way
that a Belgian gay man was reading a Brazilian gay man's message.
Angel had his own way of saying things. Cedric pronounced mother and
fucking, not only as separate words, but fully, where as Angel just
puts is all together, dropping and replacing letters along the way.
Muthafuckin',
Morgan said in her head and giggled again.

She
also thought it was the cutest and sweetest thing in the world that
her Angel was talking to a gorgeous man, one that he likely drooled
all over his shirt when he saw, and was talking about her. Not just
talking about her, but making sure that she was treated right. “I
love that man,” she finally stopped laughing long enough to
say.

“I've
never laughed so hard in my life, baby. He is fantastic.”
Cedric walked to the other side of the bathroom, dug into a cabinet
and produced two fluffy towels and a wash cloth, then set it on the
little stand next to the tub. “There are bluefuckingberry
muffins downstairs. Come down when you're ready.” He winked at
her again, then left the bathroom.

Morgan
shook her head back and forth. “I love you, Angel.” That
reminded her of her own phone, but it was on the other side of the
bathroom, next to the sink, and she didn't feel like trying to get it
right then. All she wanted to do was soak and forget about her
stupid toes. She grabbed her coffee and the pills Doc had given to
Jordy to give to her and popped them into her mouth, drank half her
coffee in one gulp, then set it back down. Hopefully, they wouldn't
knock her out and she could actually enjoy the day with her client.

Morgan
remained in the tub for another half an hour, just enjoying the feel
of the hot water around her, but after the pills had kicked in and
her foot was feeling a little better, she decided it was time to move
around. Sitting in the bed all day, whether Jordy thought it was a
good idea or not, was not going to happen. She sat up in the tub,
then got to all fours and lifted one leg over the side.

“Fuck...
I didn't expect to see that!” Jordy stood in the doorway, with
the door wide open behind him. She was still in the awkward
position, staring at the man, as he reached behind him and pulled the
door shut. Morgan managed to pull her leg back into the tub, and sat
back in the water while she tried to get the image of herself
straddling the tub from her mind... and wished she could get it from
mind as well. “Don't... you're fucking beautiful.”
Jordy hated that she was embarrassed, and he dropped to his knees
beside her and pushed her wet hair back from her forehead. She
smiled and put her head down, than raised it again and began to
laugh.

“I
guess there are worse things in the world to see, huh?” The
thought of her ass sticking straight up in the air made her laugh
even harder, and he had to join in.

The
two were nearly in tears when Cedric came back into the bedroom and
heard the two of them. “Do I have to come in there?”
His condescending tone made them both howl loudly, and they heard
Cedric giggling as he must have left the bedroom. When they had
gotten themselves together, Jordy picked her up from the bath and
held her wet body against him. He somehow managed to get a towel
around her body as he held her, and Morgan wished that he would lose
the towel and take her to the bedroom.

“I'll
see you in a little while.” He put her down again, and left
her there to get dressed, but she noticed a very large indication
that he had wished the same exact thing. She smiled at the whole
situation as she slowly pulled her clothes on, and then towel dried
her hair before leaving.

When Morgan hopped out of the bathroom, right across the bed was a
pair of crutches and a “shoe...thingy”, she called it. It
was a wrap-around brace that was worn over a sock. She was excited
because that meant Jordy wasn't planning to keep her in the room all
week either. “Awww!!”

Morgan
practiced with the crutches for several laps around the bedroom until
she felt confident enough for the stairs, then left the room and
hobbled into the hall. She nearly fell straight forward when Jordy's
voice sounded behind her. “You wouldn't dare.” He
grabbed her around the waist from behind, and pulled her against him.
She put her hand over her heart to ward off the near panic attack at
falling head first down the stairs, then turned her face upwards to
see her hero.

“I
was doing just fine until you scared the hell out of me.” She
giggled when he pulled the crutches from underneath her arms and
tossed them to floor. He picked her up again, and shook his head at
the dangerous girl as he carried her down the steps. “Are you
planning on carrying me all week?” He looked down at her and
smiled, and she had a feeling that his non-answer was answer enough.

He
carried her all the way to the kitchen, and placed her gently down
onto a chair at the table. Jordy shook his head again at how
reckless she was, but he found her even more attractive than he
already did. She was high spirited, fun loving, and....
hopefully.... adventurous.

“It's
my understanding that you like.... mothafuckin' things.” He
held a muffin up in front of his chest between two fingers, and moved
it back and forth as he spoke. Morgan felt her neck and face heat at
the thought of Cedric telling him what Angel had said, but it was
hilarious as well. She nodded and laughed as he plated two of the
beauties for her, then poured another coffee for both of them. “It
seems as if your friend and my assistant have... become acquainted.”
His smile told her that he greatly approved, and that made the whole
idea even better.

“I've
only just heard about that myself, but I'm sure I'll find out more
later.” Morgan couldn't wait to call Angel and get the
details, but she would focus on her gorgeous client for right then.
He smiled at her, a slow smile that he'd perfected over time, and she
found herself blushing at the obvious meaning behind that beautiful
look.

“Exactly
how good looking do you think you are?” The question shot
right from her mouth, with no warning or thought beforehand, so she
held her chin high and tried to act as brave as the question was that
had flown from her lips. It wasn't easy considering the laughter
that followed from the man.

“Good
enough, I guess. The question is, how good looking do
you
think I am?” He reached out and ran one long finger over her
wrist, and caught his pink tongue between his teeth as he smiled at
her again. She laughed and shook her head slowly.

“Yep,
you're exactly my type.” He raised his brow but continued to
smile, but he really didn't need to ask her what she had meant. He
was forward, and a little full of himself, and she obviously had him
figured out. The man had qualities that she was still unaware of,
but she knew enough already to feel completely drawn to the him.

They
spoke for quite awhile over breakfast, mostly about his work. He
even told her why she was there, and she didn't even have to ask.
His reason, however, was quite different from what she had been used
to hearing. “Because I wanted to.” It wasn't a reason
exactly, but it was honest and to the point. She also didn't get
specific details about his work, other than he owned several stores
in the Grand-Place. Morgan had a feeling that she would discover
which ones were his later on in the week, but it was clear that he
loved what he did. He spoke of the employees, the tourists, and even
about how hard it was to stay away, even though he knew that they
were being managed by capable hands.

“So,
what do you plan to do with me this week?” She used her best
smile to entice the gorgeous man, and it clearly worked, because his
cheeks turned a luscious shade of pink as he looked down at his empty
coffee cup. When he looked up again, his eyes held more than
embarrassment.

“What
will you let me do?” His voice was low, and filled with a
desire that she was ready to flirt with right then and there. He
stood to get them both another cup of coffee and her eyes followed
his backside all the way there.

“Whatever
involves that tongue you keep rolling across your lips.” She
kept the mood light, but still wanted to let him know she wasn't
exactly kidding. He slid his tongue over his bottom lip once more,
slowly and very much on purpose, then stood up and walked towards
her. Morgan shook her head, then reached for the last muffin on the
tray, but he grabbed it first. He leaned over her chair, placing one
hand on the arm rest and the other one, which held the muffin, right
between their chests. His face was directly in front of hers, so
close, she could see the glints of dark green in his syrup colored
eyes.

His
lips twitched with a smile, then just above a whisper, “you
want the muffin?” If he hadn't been so close that she could
feel the breath of his words, she probably would have laughed.
Muffins were never that serious after she'd already had a few, but
she nodded slowly and her tongue ran between her own lips in
anticipation for what was to come. “You'll have to kiss me for
it.”

Morgan
did smile that time. “Well, that's not much of a...”
Threat.
The word slipped away as their mouths melted together.
He'd lowered his lips to hers without hesitation and Morgan was quick
to recover. Her arm instinctively wrapped around his neck and his
free hand went from the arm rest to her hip. She felt his fingers
wrap around the fabric of her sweater and she moaned quietly into his
mouth as his touch lit the flame of desire within her. His fingers
wrapped more tightly around her from the small sound she'd made and
he was forced to break the kiss or he wouldn't be able to stop.

Ahem
,
Jordy cleared his throat and stood up once again, then held the
muffin out for Morgan. “You earned it.”

“Hmm,”
she hummed, taking the muffin from his hand. “I don't have
anything to give you. I don't think that's fair.”

“You've
given me quite enough for now,” he practically snorted. He
tucked his hand into his jeans as if her were tucking in his shirt
and Morgan's eyes followed. She couldn't help the smile that formed
on her lips when she saw just what she'd given him.
Well, hello...

*****

“Are
you sure you're up for this? Really, we can just stay and I can start
a fire...you can relax...” Jordy was helping Morgan into the
passenger seat of his car, but trying to talk her out of it at the
same time.

“I
appreciate you trying to take care of me, but really, with those
babies,” she pointed her thumb to the crutches in the back
seat, “I'm as good as new.”

“Yeah?
So, you can do
anything
?” He had the same look in his
eyes that he did during breakfast, right before he shut her door and
walked around to the other side of the car. When he climbed into the
driver's seat, Morgan told him not to push his luck. “Doc said
you shouldn't be moving around on it.”

“Jordy,
it's just a toe and whatever that man gave me really helps. Besides,”
she pointed again at the support beams in the back, “I'm not
on
it.

After
breakfast, Morgan had asked to go see some of his shops as her foot
was truthfully feeling better after taking the doctors concoction of
pills. The swelling, which had been the biggest bitch, had gone down
considerably with the help of ice as well. The foot brace, in which
Cedric had purchased when he went out for the muffins was a very nice
gesture, but temperatures were below freezing and a sock wouldn't
suffice. Morgan had just decided on her white tennis shoes, with the
laces very, very loose. Since her foot was no longer the size of a
football, they didn't squeeze her too badly.
