Read Aran: Love me Harder - Alien Paranormal Romance Online
Authors: Serena Simpson
“What if I were the alien?”
“Sweet. Does that make me Catherine? Do I have my own personal wolf to love me as hard as I want?”
He let her laugh. Heck, he wanted her to laugh. The more relaxed she got the easier he hoped it would be. Why? Because he wasn’t letting her go. Tonight he would take her, make her his, and nothing and no one was going to stand in his way. He had waited too long.
He stood and moved to block the door to the room. He didn’t want to give her a chance to run. He took off his shirt, but decided to leave his pants on. His body elongated, not turning into an animal, but an alien fighter on two legs. Claws popped out of each finger and his fangs grew. Then he opened his mouth and roared.
***
She screamed.
She jumped up with frightened eyes as she stood in shock and stared at him. Her mind screamed run but her legs were paralyzed from fear. He was huge. How could this be happening to her? She glanced around the room desperately and then looked down at her shirtless torso. She was going to die half naked.
Gulping trying to convince her body to run. Please she begged don’t be the stupid woman in the horror flicks. She grabbed her shirt because modesty was important in death and ran for the bathroom door.
Aran was standing in front of the door that led to the hallway. Was he chasing her? She pumped her legs faster and flew into the bathroom locking the door after it slammed behind her.
She was just going to sit here in the bathroom with her back against the door and wait for the crazy alien to kill her. Her hands were shaking. Forget that her whole body was shaking. It was like some weird version of the twilight zone. Only it was happening in her life. So death did seem to be the only option. Yep, not because she had a death wish, but because she was too dumb to live. She should have seen this coming. That’s right Rena, you should have looked at him and said invader from Mars. Maybe you should have called 911 and told them, given them a description of the deadly alien.
Description to police: he stands six five, has the sexiest eyes I have ever seen and is broad in the shoulders with muscles that make me drool. He is lean in the waist, the waist that I have been thinking about stroking and clutching when he impales me on that thick cock of his. That thick and long cock, I hope. Yeah that would have went over well. Tell us where you’re calling from miss we will come and help you.
How could she have been attracted to an alien? What did that say about her? She shied away from the thought not liking the direction she was headed in and turned her attention back to Aran.
What was that thing…?
“Doll, how are you doing in there?”
“Don’t call me doll. In fact don’t talk to me at all. Are you going to kill me now that I know what you are?”
“Why would I do that? Why are you asking me that?”
“That’s what I’m supposed to ask.”
“Did Lois Lane ask Superman that? Did Catherine ask Vincent that?”
“I don’t know those are television programs that I vaguely remember and are not helpful right about now. Are you laughing at me?” She could hear the laughter in his voice.
He had her in his little alcove the other day and all he did was make her scream with pleasure. That’s a point for him. He called her up and made her hot as sin. Again a point for him. He sent her these beautiful nipple shields that were making her needy, even as she hid in the bathroom. Three points for him. He was sitting on the floor on the other side of the door talking to her and not demanding she come out and grow up. He might be right. There might be a hint of the truth in everything man creates.
“So you’re not going to eat me?”
“Well yeah, I am going to eat you, lick you and plunge my tongue deep in you, but I am not going to have you for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I am sure you will make a tasty snack.”
Chapter Eleven
Hell, she wanted to be scared. Everyone knew you had to be scared of aliens. She would bet there was even a hotline to call if you met one. Maybe it was a hotline to get people who called about aliens off the street.
“Does the government know about you?”
“The better question, doll, is does the government care? As long as I get done what they and the military want, they won’t look too close.”
“Tell me. Tell me how you got here. Tell me why I shouldn’t curl up in a little ball and wait for a chance to escape.”
“My brothers and I were created.”
“What does that mean? According to our bible, we were created too.
“I read your bible. You were created by a loving God. We were created by scientists that wanted monsters to protect them.”
“Created is such a little word with such large implications. If I walked this world because I was created instead of evolving on it, does that make me any better or worse than those who evolved here?”
“The people on my planet are delicate, at least that is how they see themselves. They were enmeshed in wars for many centuries, thousands of centuries, before peace prevailed. Eventually, they turned from war, unifying their planet and becoming a peaceful species that kept to themselves. They studied and became powerful in science and technology.”
A world that was peaceful. Wonder what that had been like?
“Then they were attacked. It happened slowly, over a long period of time. A battle with this planet or another. The more they became known as peaceful and advanced, the more they became a target. They went with shields first, shields to cover the planet to keep the marauders away. Technology can only do so much when there are planets out there that want everything you have. They made the shields, and others found a way around them.”
“Why didn’t they fight? We would have fought.” Would earth put aside its differences and fight as a planet? Who knew, but she was sure they would have managed something.
“They had lost the ability. They had spent so much time developing their minds, their science, that their bodies no longer held the capabilities to fight, or so they said. Personally I think they were scared and didn’t want to admit it.”
Fear was horrible, it would have you locked in a bathroom sitting on the floor next to a door when the person you were already addicted to was on the other side. She could understand fear.
“So what did they do next?”
“They kept refining the shields, as they looked for a champion. They built robots and weapons for the robots to use. No matter how they tried, though, they could not develop an AI that could be used for war. Eventually, they gave up. That’s when a group of scientists going against the government came up with us.”
“What? They couldn’t handle robots so they made people?”
“We’re not that easy to create. They had been silently working on creating life in a tube so that the women of the planet would not have to actually bear the
children. Problem was, they didn’t want killers getting their hands on their women. Women are rare, even more rare there than here.”
“I am pretty sure we outnumber the men here.”
“I am thinking of the handful of women who could handle us.”
He meant sexually, she was sure of that, which made her nipples ache even more as they got harder. She moved trying to feel comfortable on the floor as her sex throbbed again. Couldn’t she let him have her just once before she stormed out and never looked back?
“Am I a prisoner?”
“No, would you like to come out of the bathroom?”
“Nope, I am good.”
Not a prisoner. She could leave whenever she wanted to, so why was she still sitting on the floor?
“Continue.”
“They began to create fighters, warriors who would protect the planet. It didn’t go well. They tried to artificially make them older. They died or were useless. They also did not have the instinct to fight. They worked on this for close to fifty years, then someone developed a method for slicing DNA. We were the perfect group to try it on, they used vicious animals native to our planet. They used the DNA from other planets as well. They didn’t like what they got. Full grown men who wanted nothing, but to kill.”
“I would think they would have been happy.”
“They killed anything and anyone. In the end it was the females of the planet that solved the problem. They were tired of living in fear from both the invaders and the protectors the scientist were creating. If you want a protector who will care about the planet, the people and get the job done right then you must raise him from an infant. The females won.
In the end they chose to let the ones they created go through the process of growing in a stimulated womb. Then they cared for us until we were old enough to be shown fighting techniques.”
“They had holograms of some of the best fighters in the galaxy. Others who felt for them, came and trained us. We are just one group, my brothers and I. There are many groups of us now, some still on the planet, others thrown around the galaxy.”
“I take it that you fought and you won, but how did you get here?”
“We fought many brutal battles. We kept the peace until there was no need for us. When there was no need to fight, our other needs came out. We needed to mate, but we were forbidden to touch the females of our planet. It was said that we were too brutal for them and they were right. Many times the simple holding of hands left the females fingers discolored, if not crushed. They had not made any females for us, so soon the planet would be torn apart from the inside out.” He sat silently for a minute. “The scientist hated us and now that our job was done, I believe they would have been willing to annihilate us. The rest of the planet saw us as heroes, but they feared us also.
“I don’t understand, not that I really understand any of it.”
He had kissed her, touched her and not left her with marks. She had not screamed in pain, just in wonderful pleasure. Warrior or not, sliced DNA or not, how could the women there pass up someone like him?
“No matter what your DNA was paired with you still came from their stock.”
“You would think, but in the end there was little of their own DNA in us and more that had been gathered from invading parties. We became more than even the scientists could have foretold. When it became apparent that the war was over and we were not needed, many of us chose to leave, to go on the hunt for someone that would be a better fit with us. My brothers and I came to earth.”
“Now you’re looking for a bunch of women who will want to have sex with you.”
“Now we are looking for that one woman who was made for our touch.”
“Why look here?”
“How will we find them if we do not search every part of the galaxy?”
He had her there. If she had a space ship, she would have left long ago on a quest to find the right man for her. She had been sure he was not on the earth. Was she crazy? She was talking to an alien, and not running for the door. Yeah, she probably need to have her head examined.”
“What do we do now?”
“What do you mean?” Was she being deliberately obtuse? Probably, but she was going to need everything spelled out for her.
“Well, let’s start with the door. Are you staying in there all night?”
“No.” It was a great bathroom, but she had no desire to hang out in it all night long.
“That’s good. Are you leaving when you come out?”
Was she leaving? Of course, she was leaving. Why would she even ask herself that? She was no heroine from some paranormal romance. She was just plain ole Rena, who wanted… What did she want? To be loved? To have the American dream? She had given up on that shit long ago. So what did she want?
She wanted to feel, to think that she was the most important person in someone’s life just once. Not just someone, but the man who she gave her body to. She wanted to be cherished, but she didn’t want to be coddled or treated like she couldn’t figure out her own life. Yeah, screw it. She wanted what almost everyone wanted. She just wanted it to a higher degree.
She had only known him for a couple of days, but she felt alive with him. If she were sixteen, she would sneak out of a window for him and defy her parents if need be. But she was an adult who was thinking of running.
“No. I am not going anywhere.”
“Good.”
They sat in silence again. Neither of them talking, for ten, fifteen minutes or longer, it didn’t really matter. The longer they sat the safer she felt. Not because the darn door was there. No, whatever he turned into could have pulled the door off of the hinges. She felt safe because she felt protected. How weird was that?
“I am coming out.”
Chapter Twelve
She came out slowly. She didn’t want to provoke the beast. He had moved to the other side of the room, giving her plenty of space. Even now he proved he would not hurt her.
“So what now?” It was her turn to ask that question. “What do we do now?”
His eyes blazed at her. She knew exactly what he wanted to do, but she couldn’t go there, right? She still had to be afraid, see him as the invading alien and call that hotline.
She couldn’t see him as a sexy man, because he wasn’t a sexy man. But he was a male, a damn sexy one.
“What makes you think we could even have sex?” She couldn’t meet his eyes, because she might start licking her lips in greed.
“We can. We would have never come here if we couldn’t.”
“Are you like the men from this planet?”
He gave a rough laugh and her stomach clenched. Oh sweet sanity, she must have lost it a long time ago.
“They wish. I am shaped like them, but that’s where we part ways.”
“Oh.” She wouldn’t be winning any awards for her one liners.
He was standing before her, still shirtless and shoeless. Nothing but those low slung jeans on. She wanted a taste. This time she didn’t look for her sanity. She just licked her lips.
“Sometimes.” His voice hit her like a caress. “It is better to show than tell.”
Her eyes widened as she watched his strong fingers undo the button to his pants. Oh sweet sanity she wanted to see. The rasp of the zipper as it went down made her want to squirm. His hands tucking into the waistband of his jeans made her knees weak. Then he slowly pushed them down.
