She nodded and groaned as he turned and walked to fridge

Oh God, his arse is yummy.
He turned back to her with a huge smile on his face, his arms full of milk, eggs, butter, cheese, and bacon. He placed them beside her, turned again, opened the bottom cupboard to get out a frying pan, and set it on the stove before turning it on.

“Do you have any idea what you’re doing
? That frying pan looks brand new. ”

He shrugged
. “How hard can it be? ”

Sabina giggled as he put everything into the pan
. She wondered if she should tell him a better way. “What do you eat if you don’t use the stove or oven? ”

He turned back to her and a sheepish expression crept over his face
. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her until she forgot what they were talking about. They pulled away panting for air. Shaun opened a cupboard next to the stove to reveal a microwave. “I’m very good at heating frozen food. ”

She smelled something burning and smoke flowed around them
. The fire alarm started. Shaun grabbed the pan and placed it into the sink before filling it with water.

Sabina jumped down off the counter
shaking her head while he swore when the cold water spat and hissed as it hit the burning food. She hugged him and he leaned back into her.

Shaun sighed
. “I’m sorry, honey. Let’s get dressed and go get breakfast. ”

“The clothes I wore last night aren’t really café clothes
. ” She took a step back and opened some cupboards to find another pan. She placed it on the stove, added butter, and waited. “I’ll cook. You have everything here anyway, and you paid for dinner last night. ”

His arms came around her and his lips brushed her neck
, sending shivers down her spine. “You’re my guest. I should be looking after you, not the other way round. ”

“I don’t mind
. I love cooking. ” She started adding the ingredients. “Why don’t you grab the plates and utensils? All this won’t take long to cook. ” The warmth of his embrace left her as he gathered what they needed. “Do you have bread? ”

He pulled out a toaster
, plugged it in, and reached up to a top cupboard to pull out bread. “I can do the toast. It’s not that hard. ”

She giggled as he placed the pieces in the toaster
.

When the food was ready
, she turned everything off and set bacon, scrambled eggs, and the toast on the table.

Shaun swallowed the first mouthful on a moan
. “Oh, if this is how you cook basic things, I’m never letting you leave. I forgot how good your cooking is. I will admit it’s one of the reasons I’d turn up around dinnertime for a beer with your father or to talk business. I know why the men and woman at the mine fight over the food you bring in. ”

She couldn’t help the heat that filled her face and knew she blushed bright red
. “Please tell me you’re not like my father, telling everyone what an amazing cook I am? ”

Shaun winked at her
. “Of course I am. Although, as I said, anytime you bring food to work, it doesn’t last a minute. I’ve heard people fight over it. So I don’t need to tell anyone how good you are. They know. ”

She closed her eyes and shook her head
. “Great. How embarrassing. ”

Shaun grinned
. “Did your mother teach you to cook? ”

“No
. She went back to England when I was young and my parents divorced. I taught myself. I think I have every cookbook ever made. ”

“Why didn’t you become a chef instead of a schoolteacher
? ”

She shrugged
. “I love children. I can’t wait to have my own. I was an only child. Well, I have half siblings in England, but I’ve never met them. I would have loved a brother or sister. Anyway, when it was time to choose what I wanted to do, I thought I was really good at teaching the kids I babysat. They actually liked it when I did their homework with them, and I felt like cooking always seemed more like a hobby, so I chose teaching. I haven’t regretted it. ”

They’d both finished breakfast
. Shaun pulled her onto his lap. “Did I tell you how hot you look in the chef outfit you have on now? ”

She rolled her eyes
. “I’m not wearing anything. ”

Shaun kissed her shoulder and nipped his way up her neck
. “Yes. I think you should cook like that whenever I’m around. ”

Her head fell back against his chest
, and his hands glided over her body. Delicious tingles were left where he touched. Sabina closed her eyes and enjoyed his exploration.

The phone ringing made her jump off him
, and he growled before stomping off to answer it.

She walked back up the stairs and got dressed before
checking her bag for her phone and the time. She saw it was almost lunch, and she’d missed six calls from her father. He must be worried about her, as she’d never called. She was well over twenty-one, but she still lived with her father. She liked looking after him. Sabina was all he had besides his work.

Grabbing the rest of her things
, she told herself she’d shower at home. She called her father. He picked up on the second ring. “Dad, I’m so sorry I didn’t call to tell you I’d be out all night. I’m heading home now. I won’t be long. ”

“That’s
good, Princess. I was just worried. You never know these days. ”

She rolled her eyes
heavenward at her father’s dramatic comment. “Dad, I’m with Shaun. You know him. He is your friend. ”

“He’s a work acquaintance
. ”

She sighed and didn’t bother
to argue with her father. “Dad, I’ll be home in fifteen. ” She hung up and turned to see a gloriously naked Shaun standing by the door. His eyes were narrowed on her and his mouth was turned down. His arms were crossed on his chest.

“I want you to stay
. I was hoping, when we did finally get dressed, we would pop over to your father’s house and get some clothes for you. Then come back here and spend at least the weekend together. ”

Sabina’s heartbeat picked up
. Shaun did say last night that he wanted her and that she was his, but she just thought he was saying those things to make her happy. Sabina knew his reputation. She didn’t expect a relationship, but she could secretly hope. Her dad would be fine without her for the weekend.

“Okay
. Take me back home so I can grab some things, and I’ll spend the weekend. ”

The smile that spread over his face was breathtaking
. His eyes lit up and his perfect white teeth showed. He stalked towards her, and she backed into the wall. His hands cupped her face as he leaned down and brushed his lips against hers.

“I don’t think you really need clothes
. I’d much rather you were naked like you’ve been this morning. ” His hands trailed down her body. “The only reason we’re getting clothes is for when I take you out to dinner tonight, and lunches or breakfast, also Monday for you to get to work. ”

“But you said weekend
. ”

He nibbled on her lip
. “I said at least the weekend. I know you’re on holiday soon. When does it start? ”

Her mind was
blank. She couldn’t think with his hands inching up her dress and his fingers leaving trails of need over her body. “Oh, this week is the last week. Then I have two weeks’ holiday. ”

His mouth covered hers and she forgot about everything
. Shaun hiked her dress up and felt she had no underwear on. His fingers probed her core. He moaned into her mouth, lifted her legs up, and wrapped them around his waist, and her arms gripped his shoulder. She felt him line his cock up before he slammed home. Shaun sat at his desk and thought about the last couple of weeks
. The more time he spent with Sabina, the surer he became she was the one. She was so thoughtful of others, and she looked after him, making sure he ate a good lunch and dinner. Shaun had never had anyone besides his parents care for him. He loved how they sat down and both talked about their days. It was nice to have a woman who understood some of the things he said when he referred to mining equipment and the men and women who did certain jobs. He hadn’t felt this content and happy in a long time.

Last night he’d struggled to fall asleep
. He’d wanted her with him. He’d almost begged her to stay, but she said it was best they kept it to just weekend sleepovers. Sabina hadn’t stayed at his house any time during the week no matter how many times he asked. Shaun missed her when she wasn’t around. It wasn’t even just for the sex. He enjoyed just snuggling and watching a movie at his house. Shaun had picked her up for dinner every night, no matter if they went out or just stayed at home. They always ended up making love.

It was Saturday and his weekend to work
, which he wasn’t happy about as it ate into his time with Sabina. Sabina had been on holidays these last two weeks and he’d spent every spare moment he had with her. He’d repeatedly asked her to stay with him, but she didn’t want to leave her father. She kept talking silly talk about how he’d get sick of her soon and she didn’t want to wear out her welcome. Shaun tried to tell her she could never wear out her welcome, that he wanted her with him always. She would smile and nod then change the subject. He didn’t know what to do.

Shaun was scared that if he told her how he really felt
, he’d scare her away, that she’d think it was too soon for him to love her and want her to be his wife. Shaun knew Sabina was the one for him. He worried that she saw him as a fling, a man to dip her feet into the dating scene with before she moved on to men closer to her age. He’d started to think she was using her father as an excuse, a way to keep her distance.

Maybe he was moving too quickly
, but he’d known her and secretly been in love with her for years. It’d taken him a while to admit to his feelings and then act on them. But now that he had Sabina he wasn’t letting her go. He would get Sabina to love him.

The beeping of his phone shook him from his musing
, and he answered it quickly and got back to work, wishing the day would end sooner. Minutes later he sat sulking as he checked his messages and realized he’d forgotten this weekend Sabina had her friends’ hens’ night, which meant he’d have less time with her. Running his fingers through his hair, he got stuck into his work because he wasn’t coming in tomorrow.

Caught up in his work
, he didn’t hear the door open. One minute he was typing, and the next the most amazing smell wafted across his senses. He looked up to see Sabina at his door with a covered plate in her hand.

She looked stunning
. Her hair curled around her face. Her eyes were shaded a light pink and her shiny, sparkly cheeks matched. Her lips where a bright red, and she wore a clinging red shimmery dress that emphasized every curve of her body. Her breasts were pushed up in offering, and she had high-heeled, black strappy shoes on.

Sabina gave a sultry laugh
. “I thought you’d like it. ” He stood up, but she raised her hand. “Stay where you are. I called your mobile and it went to voice mail, so I thought I’d try here before I leave. I brought you dinner. I only have enough time to drop it off, and then I have to go meet the girls at the boat. ”

“What boat
? You never said you were going on a boat. ”

She strutted towards him and he almost came in his pants
