“We are going to our side of the Isle to get supplies before heading to my cave close to the highest mountain on the Isle,” Ursula answered as the other man finally slid into the passage side backseat of the car after dumping Chelsea into the truck of Ursula’s car.

Chapter Ten

Eli’s grandmother was waiting in the doorway of the garage as they pulled in.  When they walked in the house, they noticed Treasure and Greg were already there waiting for them on the couch.  They were in the middle of greeting each other when Eli’s grandmother stepped back into the house.

“Why don’t we save all the formalities for later.  We need to have a plan in place before nightfall so you guys can get enough rest in order for all of you to be able to climb the mountain tomorrow,” Eli’s grandmother announced.

“Come on, guys, let's go see what Ella and the other shifter can tell us about the witch, so we know who we are dealing with,” Jadelyn said as she made her way up the stairs following behind Eli’s grandmother. 

The rest of them quickly followed behind.  Eli’s grandmother already had the wall in his old room opened by the time Ace, Treasure, Greg, and Eli walked in.  The door slid closed with a loud bang when everyone made it inside of the private room.

“Your grandmother has already told us what happened, Eli.  How about all of you take a seat, so we can tell you everything we know about the witch pretending to be me,” Ella said as the mysterious female shifter brought out enough chairs for everybody.

“Ursula, that’s the witch’s name pretending to be me, only works for money and nothing more. 
It is safe to say someone hired her to do all of this to our families, and that might just be another shifter family.  We have to find out who hired Ursula to kill Eli and Jadelyn’s mothers and why.  You will still have to take care of Ursula since once she is hired to do a job, she finishes it—no matter what,” Ella said relaying everything she had heard over the years from the warlock guards who were guarding her.

“You also have to pay extra attention to your surroundings when you are around her.  She always has a number of tricks and traps ready.  She stopped time in order to kidnap me a week after she took Ella.  Don’t worry about her stopping time on the mountain.  Ella and I, along with Eli’s grandmother, already cast a protection spell around the mountain.  Now all we have to do is come up with a foolproof plan for tomorrow,” the mysterious female shifter said.

“I already have one part of the plan in place.  Jadelyn and Treasure will drink two special potions I made specifically for them.  Treasure and Jadelyn will have to drink the first one by tonight so they will look like a replica of Ella and Rose when they wake tomorrow morning.  That way, Ursula will think you guys actually brought Ella and Rose to her, and it will give all of you enough time to save Chelsea.  Jadelyn and Treasure will drink a protection potion as well, which will prevent Ursula from being able to teleport them to her.  The rest of the plan is up to you,” Eli’s grandmother said.
