No, it’s not what you think. I’m not proposing… again… It’s just that I never told my parents that we called off the engagement. It’ll break my mom’s heart if she finds out now.”

Logic… are you serious? Oh my God, it’s been years. Oh come on.” She complained.

Yeah, I know. But they knew that we were still seeing each other. How was I supposed to explain that bullshit to them? Huh Queen?”

Queen
sighed as she reluctantly took the ring box. “You owe me big time for this.”

Logic
smiled and nodded in agreement. “I’m sure I’ll find a few ways to repay you Mye Queen.”

Don’t even think about it.” Queen warned as Logic lovingly sampled her lips. “And for the record, you’re not getting this back.”

I never asked for it back in the first place.” Logic mumbled beneath his breath.

Queen
playfully shoved him. “I heard that.”

Logic
laughed and hugged her tighter. “I’m glad you did. I meant for you to hear it.” He teased.

Queen
pondered the ramifications of her decision to withhold the truth about her engagement to Christian. In retrospect she should have told him months ago when she got engaged. And naturally, her off the cuff decision to leave her real engagement ring at home was just adding fuel to the raging fire. She realized there would be consequences for her actions. Nonetheless, she wasn’t ready or willing to have that conversation with Logic, especially now.

Finding
comfort in each other’s embrace they rode in silence as the Limo headed to Logic’s parents’ home in the suburbs of Baltimore.

CHAPTER 46

Naturally,
Logic lost it the second he laid eyes on his mom.   From there he quickly started to drift into depression and withdrawal as the reality that his dad was dead quickly sank in. Grateful that his Queen was on his side Logic clung to her and the two became inseparable.

Queen

s quick change of rings did not slip pass her mother for one second. It was one thing to be there to support Logic but it was a whole other thing to switch fiancés overnight. Queen knew that it was just a matter of time before her mom cold snatched her ass up.

Queen, help me get the kitchen together.”

Queen
recognized an ambush when she saw one, but what could she do except get it over with?

Sure I’ll be right in.” Queen replied reluctant to leave Logic.

Now Queen.” Her mom insisted.

Queen
followed her mom into the kitchen and prepared to get a lecture or an ass whipping. She wasn’t quite sure which one but she was well aware that she probably deserved both.

What do you need me to do?”

What I need you to do is to tell me why you are wearing Logic’s ring? Queen what the hell is going on?”

Look Ma I can explain.”

Oh really? Can you explain to Christian why you took off his ring and put on Logic’s?  Girl what the hell are you doing?”

Logic never told his parents that we called off the engagement. He asked me to wear it so that his mom didn’t get suspicious.”

What? Queen are you serious? Gloria knows that you two are on again and off again. Why would you agree to do that?”

Because he asked me to Ma. What can I say? He’s hurting. He asked me to do this one little thing, so I said yes. Christian will never know.”

Queen this doesn’t make any sense. Why would he even consider asking you to take off that man’s ring?”

Queen
hesitates, “Logic doesn’t exactly know about Christian.”

Okay… You know what?” Queen’s mom hesitates and searches for the right words. “Look Queen, you know that both of those men are crazy, in love with you. Hell, and don't get me started on Teddy and the shit you pulled on him when Jade got married.   How many times do I have to tell you, that you can’t keep playing with peoples’ emotions? Logic’s going to be so disappointed in you. And how do you think Chris would feel if he knew that you took off his ring and agreed to this little game of charades?”

Ma I’m not playing with anybodies emotions. I just haven’t been able to find a way to tell Logic. I’ll tell him, but this is just not the time.”

Alright, but mark my words this bullshit is going to come back and bite you in that big ass of yours and when it does, don’t even think about bringing that shit to me.”

Queen
hugged her mom and laid her head on her shoulder. “Don’t worry, it’s my mess. I promise I’ll clean it up.”

Queen
knew that the situation had the potential of getting a little shitty, but she thought that she had everything under control, boy was she wrong.

~*~*~

Queen

s parents convinced Logic’s mom to pack a bag and spend the night at their home. Mrs. Hart was exhausted and overwhelmed with grief. She welcomed the opportunity to escape the memories that haunted her in that house.

Now,
the question was where was Logic spending the night? Although Queen knew the answer she thought luck might intervene on her behalf just once.

Are you spending the night here?” Queen cautiously asked as Logic put his mom’s bags in the trunk of her dad’s car.

Oh you’re funny as hell?” He chuckled.

No, I’m serious. Where are you spending the night?”

Where do you want to spend the night?” He asked as he pulled her in his arms and sampled her lips.

With
mixed emotions Queen allowed it. “I’m going home. The question is where are you going?”

I’m going where ever this goes.” Logic smiled as his hand slipped from the small of Queen’s back to caress her round ass.

Hearing
their parents coming Queen nonchalantly broke their embrace. Unfortunately not before Queen’s mom spotted them. Naturally she shot Queen an evil look that said, “I wish you would.”

If
only Queen had just had the good sense to heed that simple warning. Unfortunately minutes later she found herself at her mansion alone with Logic. Horny, emotionally devastated and confused she watched one of the sexiest men on the planet undress in her master bedroom.

I’m worn the fuck out. I’m getting in the shower.” Logic announced as he stripped down.

Mesmerized
and held spellbound by the splendor of his magnificent nude body Queen was speechless. “Damn he looks scrumptiously delicious and I’m fucking starving to death.” She thought. “Get a grip Queen you’re engaged and this kielbasa is no longer on the menu.”

Queen's
pussy purred as it started to betray her. Her panties instantly became wet as she pondered her options. Realizing that she had only one she tried to walk away, but her legs wouldn’t move.

Noticing
that Queen had suddenly become star struck by the sight of his body Logic laughed. “What’s wrong with you? You act like you’ve never seen me naked before.”

The
truth was that Queen had never seen Logic naked and not been able to sample his sweet nectar. Torn between what her body screamed to do and what her heart begged her not to do Queen was perplexed and paralyzed.

Queen are you okay?”

Yeah, I’m fine, I just loss my train of thought for a second. It’s been a long day. Okay, so get in the shower and make yourself at home. I have to check my voicemail and return a couple of emails. I’ll be in my study.”

Alright, well come to bed as soon as you’re done. I’m going to try to get some sleep.” Logic responded a little confused.

Sure.”

Now
Queen stayed in her study until early morning praying that Logic would eventually fall asleep. Thinking that he was finally asleep she slipped into the shower and then into bed next to him. Unfortunately sleep never came to Logic that night. He lay in bed restless waiting for his Queen. The moment she entered the bed he rolled over and held her tight in his arms.

As
they lay in the dark room spooning Queen could hear Logic softly sobbing. Hurt as well and unable to comfort him she silently wept with him.  Unexpectedly, Logic’s hand slipped between her thighs and located the wet spot that had craved his touch every since they were fifteen years old. His mouth sought and found hers and Queen surrendered.

Just
as she closed her eyes and gave in to the intoxicating, familiar caress of his precise, slow hand a flash of Christian’s charismatic smile flashed through Queen’s mind. She tried to block it out but the image of him would not go away. Unable or unwilling to stop Logic’s intimate advances Queen rolled on her back and gave in to her desires. Without hesitation she relinquished her body to the man who would always rule her heart.

Upon
kissing her hard in the mouth the still distraught Logic continues to massage Queen’s love as he plants a trail of warm, wet kisses along her body that led southbound. His eyes momentarily meets Queen’s and begs for permission to proceed on his journey. The sobbing Queen nods a definitive hell yes as the smile on Christian face that haunted her quickly fades and his image disappears into obscurity.

Logic

s hungry mouth immediately locates Queen’s erotic zone and all regret and reservation quickly storms out the door as he devours her sweetness. Famished as hell and totally turned out for this incredible man Queen flips to the top and spins to find his goodness that strained to be released from his shorts. Starving and emotionally overwhelmed she stuffs it into her mouth savoring its flavor. Logic grabs her by the ass and returns to her deliciousness. In total ecstasy the two lovers enjoy their bountiful feast as they took a pleasure trip down Route 69.

All
the hurt, all the pain, all the confusion and all the emotions of the day boiled up and quickly threatened to explode all over their faces. But neither of them gave a damn. It no longer mattered what or who stood between them at that very moment. They needed each other and equally they needed what was about to come.

As
ravenous as two wild dogs stranded in the wilderness they continued to devour each other’s love uninhibited and unrestrained as a legendary orgasm swell in both of their loins. Screaming, hollering and quivering as it's greatness overcame them their bodies seized and convulsed from its magnitude. Logic came first but Queen followed a split second later as they shamelessly released all that threatened their happiness, their sanity and their love.

Suddenly
it became crystal clear to Logic what all the forbidden moments Queen shared with Teddy after Paul’s murder were really all about. He finally realized that it didn’t matter whether she wanted it or even enjoyed it. Queen needed sex. She forged that unbreakable physical bond with Teddy to overcome her grief and to preserve her sanity. It now made perfect sense to him that it had absolutely nothing to do with her love for him, their relationship or their engagement. It was just sex. She tried to make that same connection with him but he was just too confused to understand. Sex was simply a pressure release mechanism that allowed Queen to handle unbearable pain and stress.

Realizing
that her affection for Teddy or X for that matter, never once took from her love for him, Logic gathered her in his arms and whispered; “Now I understand.”

Knowing
exactly what he was talking about the teary eyed Queen asked, “Can you ever forgive me?”

Logic
simply nodded yes as he kissed the engagement ring on her trembling hand. “I forgave you a long time ago. It wasn’t your fault. I'm certain of that now. ”

Semi
satisfied they briefly lay quietly in each other arms. Basking in the sweet afterglow of the preliminary round they prepared themselves for what was undoubtedly going to be a very long night.

CHAPTER 47

The
next few days blurred together as the family made funeral arrangements. Logic and Queen leaned on each other for support during this trying and difficult time. Understandably the line Queen had drawn in the sand had blurred as well.

She
talked to Christian everyday and sexed Logic every single night.  And though she felt as guilty as hell about it she couldn’t stop. She loved Logic and she realized that in spite of everything that they’d been through she was still in love with him. Still in the deepest crevice of her heart she realized that she may have destroyed her chance at happy ever after with this incredible man.

This
became painfully obvious at the funeral when two unexpected quests showed up from Las Vegas to show their respects. Throughout the service Queen could feel two sets of piercing eyes burning a hole in her back at the funeral. Unable to isolate the source in the crowded church and too distraught to really care Queen ignored it. Unfortunately after the service she would no longer have that luxury.

Now
Queen was well aware that Logic had a girlfriend in Las Vegas. That pretty much was a given since her relationship with Logic, although consistent, remained undefined for all these years. What she wasn’t aware of and never even considered was that Logic’s girl was bold enough, rude enough and crazy enough to show up uninvited to Logic’s father’s funeral.

Queen
and Logic were leaving the church when Queen spotted the source of the four laser beams. In the back of the church the two fake ass Vegas beauties pointed and whispered as they got their first full on look at Queen. Their contempt for her was obvious, but Queen did not know why. After further examination of the anguish and hurt on the one woman’s face Queen knew the whole story. This woman was obviously Logic’s girl.

Girlfriend
or not, Logic never noticed either one of them. The funeral had taken its toll on him and he was oblivious to everything and everyone around him except Queen. Naturally this just fueled their fire and it soon became painfully obvious that their little game of stare down was about to turn into a show down.

After
the repast service Queen and Logic were talking with members of the Nevada Kings who had flown out to Baltimore to support Logic in his time of bereavement. Queen noticed that Logic became oddly alarmed as one of his teammates whispered something in his ear. Logic quickly looked around and spotted the two young women who had been eyeballing Queen all damn day.

Queen, I’ll be back in a second.” Logic excused himself before heading over to speak to them.

Queen
simply nodded okay. She watched across the congested lawn outside of the restaurant as Logic greeted the two women with reservation. After a big hug from both, Queen noticed one pull him off to the side for a private conversation.

Now
under normal circumstances Queen was not fazed in the least by bitches from the Hater Nation hating on her. In fact she was quite use to it by now. Unfortunately this was not a normal situation and this was not just any old man. This was Logic and Queen was curious to say the least to see who was trying to take her place in his heart. Still out of respect for Logic she kept her distance and simply tried to ignore them.

Even
still it quickly became apparent that they were having a heated debate and she was obviously the source of the problem. Noticing that Ms. Vegas was becoming a little too loud and ignorant for a funeral Queen decided to diffuse the situation by giving Logic some friendly advice by phone.

Queen
pulls out her cell and calls Logic. He answers on the first ring.

Yeah, what’s up? Are you ready to go?”

I’m ready when you are. Is everything okay?” She asked.

Um yeah, everything's fine. I’ll be ready to leave in a second.”

The reason I asked is because you two are making a scene. Why don’t you take her for a walk and calm her down, before she upsets your mom?”

That’s not necessary. I’m done talking. I’ll be over in a second.” Logic hangs up the phone, says something to the angry young woman and simply turns and walks away.

Queen
shakes her head in disbelief as Logic heads towards her with the angry little Pit Bull nipping at his heels. “Ah shit… Logic, please don’t lead her silly ass over here.”  Queen moaned.

Expecting
an even bigger scene Queen moves to a more secluded location in a cove between two buildings. If there was going to be an altercation she wanted as few witnesses as possible. She placed her purse down, sighed and prepared for Drama Central.

So you think that you can just say what the fuck you want and then walk the fuck away from me like I don’t exist, huh Logic? You know I’m just going to follow your ass. We need to settle this.” The Pit Bull could be heard screaming as they neared.

Nakeisha, we don’t have a damn thing left to talk about, so go on back to Vegas. We’ll deal with this when I get back.”

We didn’t talk about shit! What are you talking about? And I’m not going back to Vegas until you go back. You must be crazy if you think I’m leaving you here with that bitch.” Nakeisha snorted.

Then you may never go back, because I’m not leaving no damn time soon. I told you that my mom needs me and I’m going to stay here with her until she makes up her mind to come home with me. So, go home Nakeisha.” Logic casually responded as they approached the cool, calm and pissed Queen.

Nakeisha

s eyes meet Queen's and fumes could be seen rising from her head, she was so mad. “Introduce me to your fiancé Logic! Never mind I’ll do it…” She said as she attempts to run past Logic to approach Queen.

Logic
quickly pulls her back. “Hey, slow your roll. You  fuckin don't want to run up on Queen like that. Not unless you want to get knocked the fuck out!”

Fuck that bitch! I wish she would swing on me.” She snarled as she eyed Queen looking for a reaction.

Queen
maintained her composure as Logic joined her at her side. “Is everything okay?” She asked him.

Before Logic could even begin to answer Nakeisha snapped. “No bitch everything ain’t okay. What are you stupid or something? Can’t you see what the fuck is going on?”

I’m sorry about this shit Queen. This is my friend Nakeisha, from Vegas. I asked her not to come but…”

Queen
quickly interrupted Logic. “Baby you don’t owe anybody an explanation, not me and certainly not her. I’ll handle this.”

You’ll handle what? Bitch don’t fuck around out here and get handled! And I'm not his fuckin friend. I'm his girlfriend. ” Nakeisha continued to mouth off, although she stayed at a safe enough distance to avoid getting her mouth knocked off.

Queen

s eerie serene disposition alarmed Logic as he watched Nakeisha’s friend Brianca rush around the corner for backup.

What? What you going to do bitch? Except get your ass beat, with your trick ass, gold digging self!” Brianca screamed as she ran up and took her position at Nakeisha's side.

Ah shit… Here we go.” Logic murmured as he stepped in front of Queen. “Nakeisha, why are you bringing all this fuckin drama to my dad’s funeral? I told you when we got started that I was engaged. Why the fuck are you acting like this is new news? You’ve known about Queen for three years now. You and Brianca need to pack all this nonsense and silly bullshit up and take it back to Vegas with you cause I ain’t fuckin with you like that anymore. I've tried to be nice about it, but fuck that and fuck you!”

You’s a silly ass bitch!” Brianca observed as she confronted Queen. “My girl been fuckin your man in your fuckin house and spending your fuckin money for years and you ain’t said or did a fuckin thing about it.”

Maybe her ass is just too fuckin stupid to have a clue what the fuck is up. I bet you thought you could hide my ass for ever didn’t you Logic!” Nakeisha chimed in.

At this point Queen had heard and seen enough. “Look ladies, and I’m using the term very liberally in your case… This is not the time or the place for all of this unnecessary drama and silly assness. Nakeisha, you’re in love with Logic. I get that. He hurt you by coming here without you. I get that too. Brianca, you’re just here to back your girl. I can appreciate that also. But this is Logic’s dad’s funeral service. Please just respect Logic and his family enough to leave or stay quietly without any more loud ass, unnecessary stupid shit. Because at the end of the day, Logic is going to go home with me and nothing you two Vegas hookers say or do is going to change that fact. So you can walk out of here quietly with your remaining thread of dignity in tack or you can leave with my stiletto up the crack of your ass. It really doesn’t matter to me.” Queen casually declared as she stood beside Logic.

I hate you! Do you know that Logic! You weak ass fuckin nigga!” Nakeisha screamed. “All I ever did was love you and you treat me like this for a bitch who only fucks you four times a year. Fuck you!” Nakeisha lashed out at Logic as she swung her fist at his face.

As
quick as lightning Queen planted her foot in Nakeisha’s chest and kicked her as hard as she could seconds before her fist connected with Logic’s nose. “Don’t fuckin hit him! What the fuck is wrong with you?”

Momentarily
stunned Brianca looked at Nakeisha on the ground, screamed and charged at Queen. Queen met her mid flight with a hard straight right hand punch to her face which almost completely knocked her ass out. By now the angry Nakeisha had sprung to her feet and had the audacity to throw a sucker punch to Queen’s jaw. Queen instinctively blocked it and countered with a one, two, head and gut combo that knocked Nakeisha to her knees.

Storming
in for the kill Queen prepared to finish her, but Logic held her back. “That’s enough Queen. Leave her alone, she’s done.”

Oh yeah? Maybe so, but I’m not!” Queen wrestles her way free from Logic and quickly snatches the lace front wig off Nakeisha’s head.

Nakeisha
screamed in pain and humiliation as the clued on wig was ripped from her scalp. “Damn it! What did you do that for! Give me back my damn hair!”

Fuck you!” Queen snorted.

By
this time Queen had made her way over to Brianca and ripped her wig off as well. Unlike Nakeisha, the semi conscious Brianca felt absolutely no pain or shame as she was still semi comatose in La La Land.

You two talk a whole lot of shit for bald headed bitches who can’t fight. Now both of you get your ass up and get the fuck out of here, before I take off my heels and give you an East Baltimore ass whipping!” Queen snapped as she placed the two wigs in her designer purse. “You’ll get your damn hair when you’re in a cab on your way back to the airport. Now have a nice day ladies and get the fuck out of Baltimore!”

Logic
was a little concerned for Nakeisha and Brianca, yet he had to snicker when he saw their hair hanging out of Queen’s purse. Sensing that he needed some help with his Vegas funeral crashers he called Dorian to bring some guys to help him get them in a car.

~*~*~

Naturally,
with Dorian came Jade. Jade, who was good and pregnant, was not happy to leave her comfortable cushy chair in the restaurant to come outside to deal with this bullshit. She watched curbside with Queen as the men helped the two bald eagles into a limo bound for the airport.

You ought to be ashamed of your damn self.”

For what?” Queen calmly responded as she eyed Nakeisha as Logic comforted her as he closed the car door.

For what? For starters give them bald head bitches back their hair!”

Queen
nonchalantly removes the hair, which was still hanging out of her purse like a ponytail, and gave it to Jade. “Here give this to Logic to give to them. Because if either one of those hoes mouths off even one word to me they’re going back to Vegas without teeth.”

So, which one is Logic’s girl?” Jade asked although she knew the answer. She just wanted to rub Queen’s nose in it.

Neither.” Queen rolled her eyes at Jade and responded as she watched Logic affectionately kiss Nakeisha on her forehead.

Mye Queen don’t even start that bullshit.”

What bullshit, Jade?”

Logic’s that girl’s man not yours. You’re fighting the girl over a man that doesn’t even belong to you like you’re in high school and shit.”

That bitch tried to punch him in his face. They attacked me. I wasn’t going to let that shit fly. She came here to start some shit with me. It wasn’t the other way around. So, I don’t know what bullshit you’re talking about. Fuck her!”

Okay so answer one question for me, Queen. Where the fuck is your engagement ring?” Jade snarled as she held the wigs out without a word for Logic who came to retrieve them.
