"Damn
you
make
it
sound
like
I'm
going
to
beat
you
up
or
something."

"Trust
me,
this
is
strictly
for
your
protection.

Cause
there
is
a
part
of
me
that
still
just
wants
to
fuck
you
up."

Paul
laughed.

"Yeah
I
can
understand
that.

I
probably
deserve
it.

Okay
what
about
the
park
near
the
campus?"

"Yeah,
that
will
do.

What
time?"

"I
want
to
see
you
as
soon
as
possible.

What
about
noon
today?"

"Sounds
good."

"Do
you
need
me
to
pick
you
up?"

"No,
I
have
Logic's
car."

"Well,
call
me
if
there's
a
problem."

"Sure."
Queen
said
as
she
prepared
to
hang
up.

"Queen,
are
you
still
there?"

"Yeah."

"Thanks
for
taking
my
call."

"No
problem.

I'll
talk
to
you
later."

"No,
I'll
see
you
later."

Paul
grinned.

Paul
was
ecstatic
when
he
got
off
the
phone.

He
hadn't
talked
to
Queen
since
the
incident.

Now
he
was
going
to
see
her
in
less
than
two
hours
and
if
all
goes
well
she'd
be
home
before
night
fall.

He
couldn't
contain
himself.

"Bear,
I
just
talked
to
Queen.

We're
meeting
in
the
park
at
noon."
He
happily
announced
as
he
burst
into
Teddy's
bedroom.

Teddy
who
was
still
in
bed
trying
to
sleep
didn't
move,
or
show
any
emotion.

"That's
great.

Tell
me
about
it
when
you
get
back."

He
mumbled
as
he
rolled
over
to
go
back
to
sleep.

Although
he
appeared
uninterested,
Teddy's
mind
was
racing
out
of
control.

Teddy
had
so
many
mixed
feelings
about
this
meeting.

Why
wouldn't
he?

If
the
meeting
goes
well
he
may
lose
what
little
bit
of
Queen
he
has.

But
if
it
goes
badly
his
best
friend
will
be
devastated
and
will
spiral
even
deeper
into
depression.

So,
he
did
the
only
thing
that
he
really
could
do,
absolutely
nothing.

Logic
on
the
other
hand
took
it
a
little
harder.

He
knew
that
Paul
had
a
strong
case
for
acquittal,
but
he
wasn't
sure
what
Queen
would
do.

They
had
become
the
perfect
little
couple
and
he
wasn't
ready
for
it
to
end.

They
enjoyed
each
other
immensely
mentally,
emotionally,
spiritually
and
of
course
sexually.

They
had
picked
up
where
they
had
left
off
before
Asia
and
her
bullshit
destroyed
their
love.

Still,
they
were
so
close
but
yet
so
far
from
getting
back
on
track.

Yes,
Logic
was
afraid
of
losing
Queen
again,
but
he
wasn't
afraid
of
letting
her
know
that
he
didn't
like
it.

After
all,
if
she
reunited
with
Paul
what
was
going
to
happen
to
him?

"So
what's
going
to
happen
to
us
after
you
two
talk?"

"What
do
you
mean?"
Queen
asked
as
she
applied
her
makeup.

"Queen,
we've
slept
together
almost
every
night
since
you've
been
here.

What's
going
to
happen
with
you
and
me
if
you
let
him
back
in?

Are
you
just
going
to
cut
me
out?"

"Logic,
come
on.

Don't
start
that.

I'm
just
going
to
hear
him
out
so
that
I
can
get
my
life
back.

I
can't
do
anything
but
be
mad
and
hurt
and
cry
every
damn
day
until
I
get
this
shit
over
with.

I
don't
think
that
this
is
a
bridge
that
we
need
to
cross
right
now."

"Queen
I
lost
you
once.

I'm
not
willing
to
let
you
walk
out
of
my
life
again.

I
like
Paul
and
all,
but
I'm
in
love
with
you.

I
can't
just
give
you
back.

What
am
I
suppose
to
do?"

"Logic,
don't."

Queen
pleaded.

"This
isn't
about
you.

It
is
about
me.

I
got
to
get
rid
of
this
rain
cloud
over
my
head.

Let
me
do
this
so
I
can
move
on."

"I'm
sorry.

I
was
just
tripping.

Do
what
you
need
to
do.

I'll
be
right
here
waiting
for
you.

You
are
coming
back,
right?"
