"You
need
to
learn
that
you
are
my
damn
business.

How
many
times
do
I
have
to
say
it?"

"Whatever
Bear.

You're
my
roommate.

You're
not
my
damn
man!"

"If
it
had
been
Paul,
who
walked
up
on
you
with
that
nigga
in
your
face,
believe
me
when
I
tell
you
that
he
would
have
broke
his
foot
off
in
Logic's
ass.

You
can
get
mad
if
you
want,
Queen.

All
I
am
saying
is
keep
that
ass
wipe
out
of
your
damn
face,
before
some
shit
goes
down."

"Bear,
I
was
going
to
talk
to
Logic
about
it,
but
you
didn't
give
me
a
chance.

Did
you?

I
realize
what
he
does
to
Paul.

I
get
that.

But
Logic
and
I
are
friends.

I
have
to
handle
this
delicately."

"Yeah,
you
do
that.

But
there's
not
going
to
be
a
damn
thing
delicate
about
the
way
Paul
handles
him
if
he
catches
him
grinning
in
your
face
again."

"That's
my
problem
then,
Bear,
not
yours."

"I'm
making
it
my
problem."

"You
two
need
counseling."

Jade
declared.

"It's
not
that
serious.

Queen
tell
Logic
to
stay
out
of
your
face.

And
Teddy
mind
your
damn
business."

"Whatever.

Queen
is
my
damn
business.

You
need
to
stay
out
of
grown
folks
conversations."

"How
am
I
your
business,
Bear?

When
did
I
become
your
business?

Just
tell
me."

"When
I
made
you
my
business.

So
deal
with
it."

"I
don't
know
why
you're
trying
to
argue
with
him.

Why
do
you
think
they
call
him
Bear?"

Jade
asked.

"Because
his
name
is
Teddy
I
assumed."

Queen
answered.

"Yeah
that
and
the
fact
that
he
is
as
stubborn
as
a
damn
bear."

"Look,
Bear
the
bottom
line
is
that
Logic
is
here.

He's
not
going
anywhere
until
graduation.

He's
my
ex,
but
he's
also
a
friend.

Cut
him
a
break.

Cut
me
a
break
for
that
matter.

Let
me
deal
with
him
my
own
way.

I'm
not
going
to
shun
a
friend
because
I'm
dating
Paul.

So
lighten
up.

Please?"

"Okay,
but
I'm
not
the
one
you
have
to
worry
about.

Don't
say
I
didn't
warn
you."

Queen
realized
that
Teddy
was
right.

She
was
still
soft
on
Logic.

Soft
or
not
she
was
not
going
to
stand
by
and
let
either
of
them
attack
him.

She
was
all
that
he
had
in
Atlanta.

Logic
could
handle
himself
but
she
didn

t
want
any
of
them
getting
hurt
because
of
her.
It
just
wasn

t
worth
it.

Somehow
she
was
going
to
have
to
find
a
way
to
make
them
all
get
along.
She
needed
a
miracle
and
the
football
gods
were
getting
ready
to
grant
her
one.

CHAPTER 12

Queen
soon
settled
into
the
fact
that
like
it
or
not
Logic
was
going
to
remain
a
part
of
her
life.

The
problem
quickly
remained
what
part.

It
was
obvious
to
him
that
Queen
had
a
boyfriend
and
that
she
indeed
on
the
surface
seemed
to
be
quite
happy.

But
Logic
knew
Queen.

In
some
ways
he
knew
her
better
than
she
knew
herself.

Over
the
past
seven
years
they
had
become
extremely
close.

In
fact,
since
they
were
twelve
years
old
they
had
been
inseparable.

He
knew
that
she
missed
his
companionship
and
friendship
as
much
as
he
needed
hers.

He
realized
that
it
was
just
a
matter
of
time
before
her
anger
subsided
and
they
could
at
least
rekindle
their
friendship.

He
didn't
have
to
wait
long,
because
Queen
was
sick
and
tired
of
fighting.

"Good
day
Mye
Queen."

"Good
day
my
Prince."

"Oh...
So
I've
been
demoted
to
prince."

Queen
laughed,
"No...
actually
you

ve
been
promoted
from
Jester."

"I
see
you
still
think
that
you
got
jokes."

"Oh
I
still
got
jokes.

It's
just
that
you're
no
longer
one
of
them."

Queen
laughed.

"Yeah
I
know.

You've
replaced
me
with
two
of
them."

"Who
are
you
talking
about?"

"Your
boys
Paul
and
Teddy."

"You
three
still
can't
get
along."

"I
don't
see
it
happening
as
long
as
you're
around.
Three
dicks
sniffing
around
the
same
pussy
ain

t
never
going
to
get
along."

"You
mean
two
dicks.

Whatever.

Queen.
I
can
see
that
that
nigga
Teddy
wants
you
just
as
much
as
his
boy.

So
don

t
try
to
play
like
you
don

t
know.

It
doesn

t
really
matter.

Logic,
They're
good
folks.

They're
just
trying
to
keep
me
from
getting
hurt."

"By
who?

Me?

Come
on
Queen.

You
know
that
I'd
never
do
that.

I've
ran
out
of
ways
to
say
I'm
sorry."

"Look,
I
know.

But,
they
don't
know
that.

I've
tried
to
tell
them
that
beyond
everything
else
you
and
I
are
friends."

"I
screwed
our
relationship
up
big.

I
let
Paul
slip
in.

I
can
deal
with
that,
but
I
can't
face
the
fact
that
we're
no
longer
friends."

"About
that...
I
don't
want
that
to
be
an
issue
between
us
anymore."

"So,
what
are
you
saying?"

"I'm
saying
that
I'm
not
angry
anymore.

It
happened.

I
was
hurt
and
betrayed
and
now
I'm
over
it."

"So,
what
about
us?"

"Logic,
I'm
not
going
to
cop
out
by
saying
I'm
in
a
relationship.

Even
though
you
know
that
it's
true."

"I
can
see
that,
but
what
are
you
saying?"

"I'm
saying
that
I
value
and
appreciate
our
friendship...
and
because
we're
finally
in
a
place
where
we
can
salvage
it
I
don't
want
to
put
it
in
jeopardy
again.

Right
now
it's
very
fragile
and
I
want
to
be
sure
that
I
don't
lose
it
again."

"So,
you're
parking
me
in
the
best
friends
forever
spot?"

"No
that's
Jade's
parking
space.

Yours
is
the
BMFFE
spot."

"The
what?"

"The
best
male
friend
forever
spot."

"Queen,
I'm
still
in
love
with
you."
He
confessed.

"Logic,
I
know
that
and
I
still
love
you
too,
but
it's
too
many
people
between
us
right
now.

I
think
we
should
just
be
friends."

"I'm
not
here
to
win
back
a
friend.

Well...
actually
I
am.

But
I
risked
everything
to
follow
you
here
because
I
want
my
woman
back.

Are
you
saying
that,
that
will
never
happen?"

"I
don

t
have
a
crystal
ball
and
I
can't
predict
the
future,
but
right
now
I
don't
see
it
happening.

I
mean
if
I
was
single,
yeah
we'd
probably
still
do
the
physical
thing."

"You
miss
that
don't
you?

Yeah,
I
can
see
it
all
over
your
face.
You
miss
it.

Don

t
you?"

Logic
teased.
