I would kick him if I didn’t want him so badly.

“You…” I breathe out. “I want you—now.” I grip the blanket under me as he dips his fingers back in.

“What part of me?” He releases a breathy laugh. “My fingers?” He continues to work at me. “My tongue?” I feel him pull my panties to the side just before he drops his head and his tongue flicks over my clit. My body spasms causing my hips to buck off the bed from the sudden feeling. “Or maybe my mouth?” he says, closing his lips around my overly sensitized clit then begins to lick and suck at it. I cry out quickly on a moan, “Simon, please,” I beg him as my orgasm builds from deep inside me.

“Say it, Pet. Tell me what you want.” He continues to tease me.

“I—I want you to make me scream your name,” I breathe out hoping to taunt him.

He rears back, his fingers leaving me as he stands and pulls at his tie.

“I accept.” He grins.

I shoot up sitting in front of him in nothing but my bra and jostled panties on the edge of the bed.

“No, no,” I stop him. “The tie stays.” I reach up and curl the material around my hand. With a quick tug I pull him against me.

“Oh yes,” I whisper against his lips. “The tie stays.”

His mouth catches mine, and I spin the tie one more time around my hand to hold him in place. His hands skim down under the back of my thighs before lifting me up off the bed causing my legs to wrap around his waist. My free hand glides up around his neck to hold on while my other hand is still entwined with the tie.

Instead of laying back down he walks into the bathroom.

“What’s this?” I ask when he hits the handle to turn the water on.

“I told you I was going to finish what we started.” He flashes a smile.

I want him so bad I quickly release his tie from my hand to unbutton his pants.

“Step out,” I pant against him as I wiggle them off his hips.

“What the—? You are the Houdini of pants.” He looks at me in bewilderment.

I even surprised myself there.

“I would tell you how to do it but a magician never reveals her—Simon!” I jerk in his arms and glare at him.

“Done. Ta-Da.” He holds up my panties with a satisfied look on his face.

“Okay, first of all, ow! And second, you can’t just rip my clothes off. There is nothing magical about that.” I try not to laugh.

“Semantics.” He jerks an impassive shoulder. “Now then. You challenged me to a scream off?” He traces my bottom lip with his tongue. “I would just like to say that when I win this it will be satisfying to both you and me,” he informs me as he reaches into the shower and turns the water on.

He’s so full of himself.

He moves us into the shower closing the door behind him. The warm water cascades over his shoulders splashing onto me as he rests my back against the wall.

“Hold onto the shelves, Pet.” He watches as I uncoil my hand from his newly soaked tie to place them where he told me. “Don’t let go.” His voice has a hint of warning to it.

I nod my head in acquiescence.

I have a feeling if I let go we are both going down.

He grips the back of my knees, pinning me against the wall as he centers himself in front of me.

“What is my name?” he teases holding himself at the cusp of me.

I open my mouth to say something when he sends me a look.

“My real name if you would be so kind,” he mocks.

So… not jackass then.

“Simon.” I flash him a daring look.

He adjusts his stance, widening his legs and wraps one of his arms around my waist to secure me while his other journeys up my stomach until it reaches the space between my breasts.

“Very good.” His voice drops becoming rough as he slides himself into my anticipating core.

My back arches, legs tightening involuntarily at the invasion of his body into mine. A carnal sensation takes over, turning my want into need…

I need him in every way possible…

I need to touch him, to feel him…

I need to need him for as long as this moment will let me…

For as long as Fate will let me.

His fingers tighten against my hip as he thrusts into me, my body tensing with the build of its impending release.

The water from the shower is warm and seducing as it snakes its way down his torso and between our bodies.

Fingers white knuckling the shelves, I moan out his name, “Simon”.  My hips begins to quiver against him.

“Louder, Pet,” he says in a deep, throaty growl.

I don’t want this feeling to ever end.

“S—Simon,” I try again, but my voice is becoming lost.

He steps closer, his hands moving up my back between the shower wall and myself, pulling us closer together. Picking up his pace, he rotates his hips, and his head drops, allowing his mouth to find that sweet spot on my neck that pushes me over the edge causing my voice to find itself. Letting go of the stone shelves, I latch onto his shoulders as I ride the wave that is crashing through me. The room fills will the sound of me screaming his name but all I can hear is him whispering mine against my skin as he finds his own release.

In that moment I know we will never be the same.

I will never be the same…

My heart swells in my chest as it finally finds a blissful rhythm to beat to.

Somehow in this short stay Simon has managed to make me fall in love with him…

I could kill him for this.

When the aftershocks wear off he gently places me on the tiled floor, I smile at the lazy pleased look that is cast over his eyes.

It’s nice to know I put that look on his face.

He reaches to the shelf, grabbing the soap and pouring it into his hand before rubbing them together and splaying across my shoulders, causing the temperature in this small space to heat up again.

“We need to get ready to leave,” I moan when his hands trail down and begin to caress my breast.

“We are. What did you think we’re doing?” He tilts his head, giving me a sideways look with a small grin on his face.

“I just thought…” A knock on the bathroom door cuts me off.

“Mom says we are leaving in forty-five minutes!” Morgan shouts.

Simon’s and my face are a mirror image of surprise and humor.

He opens his mouth to yell back but my hand slaps over it, I squint hard at him.

“I’m coming!” I reply, his eyes sparkle with delight.

So crude.

“Okay! I’ll pack up your stuff. Hey…” she pauses.

Shit! We’re caught… by Morgan of all people.

“What’s up?” my voice squeaks.

Oh yeah, Sidney… you don’t sound guilty.

Tramp.

“Would you mind going back with me? I can’t take Chase for that long.” I hear her body hit my door, and I imagine her leaning against it in exasperation for having to spend any more time with him.

That’s all?

I thought for sure we were busted; that she would see Simon’s clothes in my bedroom.

“Of course!” I cheer.

“Thanks! At least you didn’t fall for their crap,” she sighs, and I hear the door jostle when she pushes off it.

Guilty… that’s what I feel. I completely fell for his crap.

“You.” I point at him. A look of shock and fear fills his face.

“Me?” He looks offended.

“I’m showering. When I’m finished you better be gone.” I shove him out of the shower. Walking across the room, I grab a towel and toss it at him. He holds it silently, observing me as I charge toward him.

“Out! Out! Out!” I place my hands on his shoulders, spinning him swiftly and opening the door to my bedroom and with all my strength toss him out of the bathroom. Slamming the door in his speechless face.

I lean against the door, burying my face in my hands for a second before going to back into the shower and stepping under the warm water.

What am I doing? This goes against everything I stood for… stand for… everything I stand for.

This won’t happen again… this
can’t
happen again.

I’m putting my foot down, I’m drawing my line in the sand.

I won’t fall for him again.

I am older and more mature.

I am…

I stare fondly at the shower that he had first had me trapped in twenty-four hours ago and made unforgettable less than ten minutes ago. A need for him building deep inside of me.

Why did it have to be the shower of all places? Why not a pool or a… I don’t know, something I don’t use every single day.

My fingers slowly run over the shelf that was just in my grasp, and I smirk at the vivid memory.

Dammit!

I am, for lack of a better term, falling for his crap.

Again.

State of Adjournment

Taking the fastest shower of my life I dry off and look around for my lotion.

I must have left it out there.

Folding the towel around me I walk out to grab it. “I expected you to be dressed, but this is better,” he smirks from where he sits against the headboard of the bed, legs stretched out in front of him.

Does anyone listen to me?

“Didn’t I tell you to be gone?” My hands clench tightly to my towel.

This is over… line in the sand Sidney…

Stay strong!

“Yes, I did leave. I made us some lunch and brought it back.” He gestures to the picnic he’s set up on the bed.

Pfft, like food is going to sabotage my sand line.

“Charming,” I deadpan.

“Aren’t I? Come, sit… eat.” He waves me over.

“Can I get dressed? Where is everyone else?” Grabbing the bottle of lotion, I squeeze some out and begin rubbing my arms.

“Around,” he says, getting up.

My brow raises as I spy him walking toward me.

“They don’t even care that you’re in here? They didn’t ask why your hair is so obviously wet.” I shake my head in disbelief.

What a family.

“Well, your mom and dad were packing up Grams’ car, and everyone else is laying in the back taking in the last of their time. So I didn’t really see anyone.” He steps behind me, taking some lotion in his palm and begins to knead it into my shoulders.

I need to tell him to stop, but oh, man that feels good.

“Now then. I guess at this time it would only be logical to tell you whatever you are thinking, you are wrong… again,” he whispers against my neck causing the skin to rise with delight.

Trying not to moan, I clear my throat.

I don’t even know what I’m thinking so how the hell does he?

“And what is that?” I ask.

“The city, us…” His lips tenderly kiss my shoulder.

Sand… line… sand… oh God.

My eyelids flutter as my body tries to remain strong.

“Oh right, because we are going back to reality. A reality in which you do not exist,” I whisper, my throat becoming dry. “Maybe you should take your… oh… did you make sandwiches?” I say, with longing in my voice when I spot them in the mirror on the bed.

“I did… your favorite, too.” He leaves another kiss.

Well, it’s just sandwiches… no harm in eating one since he put the effort forth to make them.

I’m such a sucker… It’s like luring a child in with candy… this man is good.

“Fine… but this is it.” I turn and point up at him.

His hands cup my face as he ignores my words and pulls me into him. I won’t fight, I won’t struggle this time.

Well not physically… Mentally I’m screaming something about sand and… castles?

What was I saying about sand again?

He gives a deep moan into my mouth when my fingers twist into his hair. Our tongues intertwine, dancing together to their own personal song. Pushing up on my toes I deepen the kiss, my need for him beginning to take over. I can feel myself losing control and giving it to him. My restless hunger for him burns through me, I need to feel him, need to feel the heat of his skin against mine, need to feel his hands over every inch of me. The room shifts, leaving me unbalanced.

It’s when he snickers against me that I realize he has me right where he wants me—half naked and practically begging for him to take me. Pushing away I give him a stern look.

“Not going to happen,” I manage to get out with a firm voice.

I walk back into the bathroom slamming the door again on him. I can hear his laughter through the door as I begin to get dressed. I slide on my black pants and button-down. Grabbing my hair dryer the girl in the mirror stops me.

“Pleased?” I ask her.

She doesn’t reply.

She is, because even though she pushes this all away, it is the one thing she wants most in this world. She—I need him, and she—I know we can’t go back to having nothing… Her—the corner of my mouth turn when I realize there is no her… there is no me… it’s us. A merger of the old Sidney and new Sidney into us—me. And we—I know exactly what I want.

I dry my hair and walk back out.

“Oh great, she’s back.” He frowns from his spot on the bed.

Sticking my tongue out at him I slide my shoes on.

“What is that supposed to mean?” I flop onto the bed, grabbing my sandwich to take a bite.

Tomato, mozzarella, and basil with balsamic dressing. Doing a little wriggle, I hum over the sandwich.
