CHAPTER 16
One night Alecia dropped by Andre's house after work. He had flowers on his doorstep, that led through his house, up to his bedroom, into his bathroom, where rose petals floated on top of the bubbles. He told her to undress and to get into the Jacuzzi tub.
As she sat in the hot water, her body relaxed. He got the gauze sponge and squirted some Warm Vanilla Sugar body wash on it and slowly began to bathe her. Her mind floated away as the sounds of Joe eased out of the Bose radio in the room to the flickering candle lights bouncing off the mirrors and walls.
He slowly ran the sponge all over her body, and she leaned back when he reached down and rubbed between her legs and rested his lips on her breasts. Her eyes popped open as she felt the vibrating dildo slowly go inside of her. She closed them back and smiled when the stimulator rested on her clit, sending vibrations through her entire body.
He continued until her body began to shake. Then he kissed her deeply, and she hugged him and squeezed. “I'm falling for you, Alecia,” he said softly into her ear.
“I
been
fell for you, sweetie. You are a godsend,” she said staring at him, not believing a man could be this sweet and attentive.
He smiled at her remark. “Oh yeah, sent here for you, you and only you. I want you here with me, Alecia, every day and night. I don't ever want to be without you.”
“Do you know what you asking, Andre? I'm a package, and my kids ain't no joke.”
“I been thinking about it, and I need and want you.”
“I'm really loving you, Andre, but I want to buy my own home. I been working towards it. I really got to have my own, unless I'm married. And I know you ain't ready for that,” she said, looking at him.
“Naw, baby. I just got out of all that. Yes, I care, but that's not what I want right now.”
So you want the milk but don't want to buy the cow
, she thought to herself. But she also realized this man came in the door treating her like a queen and not asking for anything in return. All he'd given her, she wanted to give.
“But I'll tell you what. I'll help you with the intentions of being with you. If it don't work out, I'll just move out, back into one of my houses I rent out. We'll make it work. I can't ever lose you, baby. I've already fallen in love.” Andre looked down at the disappearing bubbles.
She reached out and placed her hands on his chin and lifted his head, looked into those eyes that made her melt. “And I love you, Andre.”
Their lips came together and opened, and their tongues began to explore.
He stood up and removed his wife-beater, exposing the tattoos that covered his body. Then he dropped his boxers.
That had her mouth watering. She licked her lips and thought of giving him head, but decided against it. She wanted to, but it wasn't the right time. She wasn't gonna put herself out there right now.
Andre climbed in the large garden tub, and she spread her legs, allowing her feet to rest on the outside. Then he leaned between her legs and entered her slowly and began to fill her body up. As he moved, her breathing increased, and she felt sensations going through her body, preparing for him to cum, but he didn't.
The warm water didn't let him get the full affect of her and he began to gyrate harder until sweat dripped from his body.
She screamed, “Yes, baby, yes,” as she came again, sending him over the top as he exploded inside of her.
Andre struggled to keep his balance as his legs weakened, trying to get out the tub.
After Alecia washed herself again and got out, they dried off and laid across the bed, and he held her as they looked at
The First 48
.
Then when she realized the time, she made a move. She had to get home to her kids.
CHAPTER 17
When Alecia arrived at her house, she decided she wanted a hot shower before climbing in her bed. She allowed the steaming water to beam down on her, until she was startled by the curtain being pulled back.
“What up, baby?” Minke asked. “Damn! You sexy.” He reached out and cupped one of her breasts in his hand and smacked her on her ass before walking out.
Damn!
she thought, finishing up her shower.
When she came out, Minke was laying in the bed smoking. She lotioned herself up and reached in her drawer and pulled out her pajama pants and a T-shirt.
“When we start sleeping with clothes on?” Minke was holding his hard dick under the cover.
“I'm tired, Minke. I'm going to sleep,” she said, putting on her pants and top.
“Shit, baby! You ain't seen me in a minute,” he said with attitude. “Don't act like you ain't trying to get a nigga straight.”
“You don't want none of this stankin' pussy. Ain't that what you said?” she replied climbing in bed.
He hugged her. “Go ahead with that shit.”
She turned to him. “I don't know why you said that, but that hurt me. And it don't make me want to be with you. I'm going to sleep. Please don't mess with me.”
He didn't take her seriously; she had never told him no.
He reached out and tried to pull her pants off.
She stopped him. “I'm serious. Do not fuck with me! I know you know what
no
means.”
“Fuck you talkin' to?” he said, reachin out, trying to pull her pants down.
“Stop, Minke!” she said firmly, but not yelling because of the kids. She tried to get out of bed.
He jumped up and slammed her back down. Grabbing a pants leg in each hand, he snatched them off, almost pulling her off the bed.
When she tried to raise up, he got a fistful of hair and pulled her back down to the bed. Then he got on top of her and forced himself between her legs, guiding himself inside of her.
She fought, but was no match for him.
He pushed deep inside of her with every stroke, which didn't hurt because she was wet from Andre's cum still draining, and the water from the shower. But she cried until he was finished.
He got up and went in the bathroom and washed off.
“Fuck is wrong with you?” he asked, coming out.
“Nothing. I just don't want this shit no more.”
“You got me fucked up. You belong to me. Don't get this shit twisted. You'll end up out this bitch by your gotdamn self trying to make it. What? You fuckin' with the next nigga? Huh?”
“Stop yellin', Minke.” Alecia sighed.
“I pay for this shit. Don't tell me how to fuckin' talk. I'm a grown muthafuckin' man. Don't get fucked up, Alecia,” he said, putting his finger to her head. “Let me get the fuck outta here before I fuck you up.” He started throwing on his clothes.
Alecia lay in silence, tears streaming down her face.
“God, please. Please help me to get away from him. You know what I can bear, and I can't take no more!” she cried out loud.
While Joy was driving the following morning, she thought about Andre and what he'd done to bring her day to a perfect end, and the conversation they'd had about her buying a home and him being there.
The way he treated her made her feel like she was worth a million, the way he talked to her made her feel admirable, the way he made love to her made her feel delicate, and the way he looked at her through those appealing eyes of his fascinated her. In his eyes, she could see a compassionate, trusting, loving man that had in him all she could ever ask for, but she could clearly see all this crumbling down if he found out about Omari or Minke.
As soon as Minke crossed her mind, and what he pulled last night, and all the shit that came with him, her smile turned upside down. She envisioned his actions and how he made her feel. The way he treated her made her feel dreadful, the way he talked to her, looked at her, made her feel less than, and anytime he touched her, or called himself making love to her, she would feel disgusting.
Her phone rang as she listened to the
Steve Harvey Morning Show
. The number and name that showed up brought a feeling lower than she already felt. It was Minke.
Damn! I don't feel like going through this mess this morning.
“Hello,” she answered in a frustrated voice.
“Fuck is wrong with you?” he said angrily.
“Nigga, you is stressing the fuck out of me every time you come around. You need to chill the fuck out. I can't keep taking this shit.” Joy said it so quick, she stunned herself. She had never come at him like that.
“Bitch! You better recognize. I ain't one of these country-ass VA niggas you been fuckin' with!” he shot back at her.
“Nigga, please leave me the fuck alone. I'm done with you. Don't call me no more.” She hung up the phone.
He called back several times, and she ignored him.
Just when she was about to answer yelling, she looked at the phone, and it was Andre. She took a deep breath. “Hello.” she answered in a calm, pleasing voice.
“How my lady doing this morning?”
His cool, pleasant voice made her smile and blush. “Your lady doing fine. Now that you called, I'm doing better than that,” she said, stroking his ego.
Andre blushed. He was really feeling like she was his lady because she'd said it.
“And how are you this morning, baby?” she added, putting it on thick.
“Good. But it would have been much better if you were beside me this morning when I opened my eyes.”
“Better for you, or better for him?” she asked, smiling.
“I would have been happy. He would have been happier than a muthafucka, hard as he was.”
They shared a laugh.
She told him, “You laughin', but you serious as hell.”
“Alecia, I'm headed to the gym. I just wanted to check on you and see if we were doing lunch today.”
“Sure. Twelve thirty.”
“See ya then. Keep smiling.”
“Don't change on me,” she said, seriously.
“This me, baby, this me.” Andre hung up.
Joy couldn't wait for twelve thirty. She was feeling like a young girl on her first date. He excited her, brought back that feeling that she'd been missing for a long time.
When Andre pulled up at 12:30, Joy was already downstairs. She hopped in the black Magnum and leaned over and gave him a kiss.
He smiled. “How are you?”
“I'm doing fine, Andre,” she said with a happy expression. “How are you? How was your workout?”
“I know you were talking about buying a house. I don't know how serious you were, but how soon were you trying to move on that? Were you really serious?”
“Yes, I was serious. Why? You gonna help me? You know something?”
“I been investing in real estate a minute,” he said, matter-of-fact like. “I buy and flip houses all the time. I have a loan officer that do all my deals, I have a realtor that find my properties, and I have an attorney to close all my homes. So I can put you in, and they'll walk you through the entire process, if you ready.”
“Where do I start? Help me. I'm not scared to ask for some help. I never did this before. Well, I've owned a house before, but it was my ex's,” she said, letting him in. “I never bought one myself.”
Andre picked up the phone and dialed his loan officer, and Joy was on the phone for ten minutes, giving him all her information, and answering a series of questions about her finances before she hung up.
She told Andre, “He said he'll call me back shortly.”

As they sat in P.F. Chang's talking and enjoying their time, Joy's phone rang.
It was the loan officer letting her know that she had been pre-qualified for $170,000, and that he wanted to meet with her the following day so he could get the documents to support what she had told him, which could get her and her realtor a preapproved letter that would be good as cash.
She let him know that she didn't want her payments to be over $1,100 a month. He understood and told her that he would make the letter for $150,000, and she would not want to go over that.
They set up a time, and she got off the phone overjoyed.
Joy was asking Andre all kinds of questions all the way back to work. He gave her the number to his realtor and told her to give him a call.
Everything was in order, and the hunt was on. Joy was ready for this, and Andre could tell.

Ten and a half months had passed, and Joy's lease was about to expire. She was going to be giving her thirty-day notice in two weeks, and she already had a closing date on her new three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath, two-story brick home with a loft and a garage.
The realtor had found her a bank-owned property that was only three years old. New, it sold for $187,000, but whoever bought it, couldn't afford it, so the bank took it back and put it back on the market for $150,000 so it could sell fast.
Her realtor told her to offer $140,000, so her payment would be right where she wanted it to be, and to even ask for all closing costs. They took it and agreed to pay all closing.
She was set to close in five weeks. In that time she was to take a class in Virginia Beach so she could receive a grant where the city would pay her down payment. All she would have to bring to the table were her pre-paid, estimated to be $1,100. She couldn't've been happier.
A couple of weeks later, Joy was sitting in her living room looking at
Law and Order, SVU
when her phone rang.
“I'm on the way around there. I was just making sure you was still going to Kim cousin party,” Malaina said to Joy. Kim was throwing her cousin a bachelorette party, and they had planned to go.
