He slipped the beautiful ring onto her finger.

"Will you take a chance with me?"

She looked at the man who'd allowed her to finally feel alive. To feel the pain, the passion, the joy, and the sorrow - all the things her father had warned would come with taking chances. Her heart swelled with a deep love that had dwelt there for a long time, waiting to be acknowledged. She moved into his waiting arms, stepping over the edge of her cliff, and into his space.

Responding to the love in his dark eyes, she whispered her answer.

"Always."

She melted into Kurt's kiss, and from the painted field before them, heard soft nickers of welcome.
