aul Reid was born and raised in Cork, Ireland. He has a passion for travel, having journeyed all over the Irish coast, ridden a snowmobile across Icelandic glaciers, worked as a ranch hand in the Australian outback, and weathered flash floods in Africa. He is also the author of
