I took a step closer to her, but she stepped
back away from me.
"Don’t move." She said. "Don’t come near
me."
Christ, what would it take to convince
her?
I held up my hands but stood my ground. She
needed me, even if she hadn’t figured it out yet and even if she
still didn’t know why.
"You have to trust me Victoria. I wouldn’t do
anything to hurt you. I've been trying to tell you that since I
found out we already had your patent in development, but you're
such a damn hot-head you would never let me--"
"Shut up. Shut that mouth of yours right
now."
A case in point.
"Do you know how long I worked on the Life
Defender Vincent? Can you comprehend how much of myself I put into
making it as totally perfect as it is? And do you know how much
money I spent doing it? All of it money that I didn’t have and that
I will spend the rest of my life paying back."
"Nobody understands that more than me--"
"Shut up damn it. I'll tell you when to
speak."
I nodded my head.
"I put the patent into my parents' name
because it was the only thing I had to give them in return. All of
my patents are in their names, conjoint with mine. Without them I
would never have been able to develop any of these things. They
remortgaged their home for me and now they can barely make
payments."
She was on the brink of tears. It was all I
could do to hold myself back from pulling her into my arms. And I
have never wanted to make love to anyone so desperately as at that
moment. Any woman who thinks that a damsel in distress isn't the
world's biggest turn on for a guy is naivety personified. I wanted
to save her, kiss her tears away, tell her that everything was
going to be alright and then fuck her harder than she'd ever been
fucked before - but not necessarily in that order.
She put her face into her hands and then ran
her fingers through her long dark hair. She was lost, broken,
confused and as achingly beautiful as I'd ever seen her.
She needed me and I needed her, now more than
ever.
"So talk." She said. "Now I want you to talk,
so for Christ's sake say something."
Where could I possibly begin? I had so many
questions of my own.
The patent - get that out of the way
first.
"Victoria, I know you're confused right now
but you have to calm down and think this through. As co-owners your
parents had every right to sign over your patents to a third party
without your consent. It was all legal and above board. You have to
speak to them to find out why they did that, but believe me, none
of that matters anymore."
"How can it not matter? How could you
possibly say that?"
"Because I care about the brain that made the
device, not that one idea. Your version is already more
sophisticated than the one we bought for a song from Will. He gave
it away for nothing. Dill is a shark, he got a great deal and full
rights but of course we'll sign it back over to you with all rights
to carry out future development, you don’t have to worry about a
thing, but I want that brain of yours on board. The Life Defender
is just one idea; you're going to invent so many more things better
than that and I want to be a part of that. That's what I do best
and that's where the excitement is for me. I already run a billion
dollar company and have more money than I know what to do with, so
if you think this is about me making a quick buck then you know
nothing about me at all."
She watched me, her eyes hidden in the
shadows of her dark hair.
My heart was pounding and like it or not, I
was getting hard. That doesn't mean I wasn't being honest; I wasn't
saying those things only because I wanted to bone her and move on -
it was the other way around. What I had said made me hard because I
meant every word of it; I wanted all of her, body, mind, soul and
yes, used, wet panties as well. I had met plenty of smart women
before, plenty of wild ones, and many of the most beautiful women
on earth, but I had never met anyone who put all three together in
the way Victoria Price did.
I was afraid to open my mouth so I took
another step towards her. This time she didn’t move back. She
looked down at me from her vantage point up on the porch.
"As soon as I took a closer look at that
patent sale I knew it was bullshit. I knew that someone like you
wouldn't sell it or give it away without a good reason. A real
inventor wouldn't give up all rights to their creation for a lousy
few thousand dollars and then use the money to buy a sports bar in
Shillington, Ohio. I had no idea I was going to find you here when
I tracked that weasel William Hyde down to his home town."
"That weasel is my boyfriend."
Those words stung. She couldn't mean that,
not after what I had just told her.
"Was he already your boyfriend when you
undressed for me in my office and dropped your panties into my
lap?"
Her heart must have been pounding the way her
chest was rising and falling. Watching it was making it hard for me
to concentrate. She was doing it to me again; just being near her
made me want to lose control. I wanted to rip that shirt off her,
strip away her bra… no, no, no, I needed to stay focused; there was
more at stake here than just getting her to fuck me again - I
wanted her in my life for good but I had never wanted that from any
woman before; it was a whole new game entirely and I had no idea
where the hell to begin.
She was shaking her head.
"I'm not that kind of person." She said. I
still couldn't see her eyes. I've never wanted to see someone's
eyes so much as at that moment. What the hell was she thinking?
"What kind of person are you?" I said.
She lifted her head, took one small step
forward and then jumped from the steps of the porch right into my
arms. I reeled backwards, stumbling to the ground with her on top
of me. Our mouths locked together and she pressed herself in tight
against me. I still didn't know what she was thinking but I didn’t
care anymore. Our bodies were doing the talking now and hers was
screaming out to be fucked in my old next door neighbors' front
yard.
My heart raced… that was it…finally it had
come back to me but Victoria wouldn't let me speak. Her naked pussy
pressed hard against my still buried hard on, pinned against me
with her thighs locked around me.
She didn’t relent for a second, grinding into
my helpless cock until I had to beg her to stop.
"God almighty Victoria, you're going to make
me come…"
"I want you to come." She said and locked her
mouth to mine again, her wet channel massaging mercilessly against
my aching cock.
It was sheer, blissful, tortuous agony.
"I'm serious Vicky, you've got to stop. I'm
going to come all over myself here in this front yard."
"Right where I want you to come." She
whispered close in my ear, egging me on. "There's nobody around
here anymore, everybody left Thornhill Road a long, long time ago -
now it's just you and me."
I groaned as she bore down hard against me
again and my body thrust upwards against her in response. I felt
myself being pulled closer to the brink and Victoria showed no sign
of stopping.
"This is revenge for making me come all over
myself in a public lift Medici." She massaged harder into. "You so
fucking deserve this you selfish prick."
I began to groan, unable to stop myself.
"Let me come inside you." I growled in her
ear. "We'll do it here, now, any way you want, but I need to be
inside you right now."
"After all you put me through? You'll take
what I give you Medici and you'll give me exactly what I want
without any bullshit."
"Anything, just let me go and I'll fuck you
every inch of the way back to New York City."
She stopped moving.
Sweet relief.
"I'm not going back to the city." She
said.
"It's okay, you can take all the time you
need here. We'll sort out any details with your parents and I'll
take care of that asshole Hyde before we go."
"Vincent, I made my mind up where I want to
be a week ago and nothing has happened to change that."
She began to push herself away from me, my
cock between her thighs, peeling her breasts away from my
chest.
"But what about this? What about us?" I
said.
She pulled away completely
"Us? Who said there was an 'us'?"
It was like a bucket of ice cold water in the
face and almost as sobering as the flashing blue lights and cop car
pulling up next to mine.
"There he is Jeb. And there's my Toyota."
That was Will Hyde's voice and 'Jeb' was
obviously the small town cop who'd given him a ride. Victoria and I
separated and got to our feet.
"You okay Vicky?" Jeb asked her.
"Not really Jeb. What are you here for?"
"I'm sorry Vic but I have to take this guy
in. He stole Will's SUV."
She stared at me, amazed.
"You stole his SUV?"
I nodded my head. Not my finest moment.
"You did that to find me?"
I nodded again while Jeb read me my rights.
There's a first time for everything. I was about to be locked up
and I was being turned down by a woman who only wanted to fuck me
but not commit to a long term relationship.
The world had turned upside down. Victoria
Price had seen to that.
Dill and Evan would have a field day with
this if they ever found out.
The cuffs snapped around my wrists. I wanted
to wipe the weasely grin of Will's face but that pleasure would
have to wait. The idiot was right to enjoy the moment because that
pathetic little victory would be his last.
Chapter
Twenty-Four
"Get in the car Victoria. I'll take you back
home. Jeb needs the rental for evidence."
Will was living in a dream world.
"Lock me up too." I said, putting my hands
together for Jeb. "I stole that rental car from Mr. Medici."
Jeb looked at Vincent.
"I won't be pressing charges." Vincent
said.
"Victoria, just get in the car. I'll drive
you back to your folks' place and we can talk all of this
through."
"There's nothing to talk about Will. Come on
Jeb, I'll ride with you. Let's get going."
I got in the back seat next to Vincent. It
was weird to see him sitting there, the CEO and multi-millionaire,
cuffed and helpless like some bad boy on reality TV. I'd be lying
if I said I didn't appreciate the irony; he had tied my up twice
before fucking me twice and now here he was next to me in
restraints because he couldn't hold himself back from chasing after
me.
I put my hand on his arm and kissed his
cheek. He was rough, like he'd missed a shave that morning. I still
wanted
him, I just couldn’t bear to take the chance of
being
with him. On the other hand, what did I have to lose?
He had risked himself for me and Vincent Medici had a lot more at
stake than Victoria Price, unemployed and of no fixed abode.
"What was that for?" He said.
"For getting arrested."
"Why would you thank me for that?"
"Because you did it for me."
Did that change things? Was that really what
I needed to consider this awesome man seriously - grand theft
auto?
He laughed.
"I was trying to help you and look what good
it did. I'm not a whole lot of use to you like this." He slid his
cuffed hands out from behind his back.
"I don’t know about that." I said. "I can
think of few uses for a man like you in a position like that."
He didn't say a word. I was having fun. The
chances of us ever being in this situation together again were
remote so I wasn't going to waste it.
"I'll bet you're sorry you ever laid eyes on
me." I said and put my hand on his thigh.
"I don’t know about that." He said. "I can
think of a few good uses for a woman in a position like yours."
I moved my hand further up his leg and blew
into his ear.
"Oh really? Care to share some of those with
me?"
"Well, for one, I've found my new investment
project. I've been bored to death for the last year and then you
came along with your sleek, perfectly functioning comic book toy
and blew my mind. I haven't been this excited about a project in
forever."
I nodded my head very seriously and looked
him in the eye.
"Would it be safe to say that you have a
hard-on for this idea?"
A smile crossed those perfect lips of his and
he nodded his head.
"You could say that, although some things
will need a little massaging in order to get them fully in
shape."
I rested my hand lightly onto his cock.
"Like this thing right here?"
I have never wanted to blow a man so much as
right then, but we were in the back of a police car with my
ex-boyfriend and a cop who got to first base with me in high-school
standing right outside. Not to mention that I had just told the man
in question that there was no 'us' only moments ago, but was that
still true?
"What are you two kids up to?"
Jeb's head jutted in through the front
passenger window. I pulled my hand away from Vincent and glared up
at my old high school flame.
"Just get us out of here Jeb. The sooner we
get to the station the sooner we can straighten this mess out.
He nodded his head and got into the car. If
he was still the same guy he was back then I would have him wrapped
around my finger in no time. He had always been a sweetheart and I
hoped he would be reasonable about this. Vincent didn't deserve to
be locked up because of me; I had already caused the man enough
trouble.
"What were you doing up on Thornhill Road
Vic? I thought you didn't like going back up there?"
I didn’t really want to talk about that. Sure
I didn’t like going up there but whenever the world got too much
for me I felt compelled to seek out our old home. We'd been so
happy there until the eviction and it reminded me of time in my
life before I knew bad things could happen, even if sometimes going
out there made feel even worse than I already had.
