'I want twenty million by this time tomorrow. Come to Star’s house alone.'

'It’s a date.' Cleo slammed down the phone.

Valentino rushed into the kitchen he'd heard the loud retort from Cleo, she was leaning on the counter, breathing hard.

'Bella, what is it?'

'Valentino baby, I’ve got to go tie up some loose ends and save my friends.'

'Well you’re not going without me!'

'We have no choice, I need you to stay here and make sure the boys are okay. We can't just leave them with your mother, we'd never sleep and if your mother got hurt too, I'd just die.'

Cleo embraced her husband, she placed her head on his chest, her arms wrapped around his waist and he embraced her. Just when she thought everything was going to be okay.

Valentino stroked her hair, 'We're going to be okay, we're going to get through this bella Cleo.'

'I hope so baby, I hope so.' She shut her eyes, leaning on his taller frame. If he ever did find out the truth about her, she hoped he could forgive her.

Star woke up in a daze. She felt like she had the biggest hangover she had ever experienced. Remembering the previous night with a big smile on her face. Having never had such a connection with anyone in her life. Star was smitten. The prince was a true gentleman and a perfect lover.

He suddenly swept into the bedroom with breakfast. He fed it to her, kissed her, treat her like a princess and told her to get herself freshened up.

Star decided to run a bath and she rang Blue whilst waiting for the water to fill up. The call went onto the answer machine, she had no choice but to leave a message;

'
Hi Blue, I’m at the Prince’s home. I’ll be back later. It’s been such a good weekend, I’ve so much to talk about! OMG!'

She hung up and put her phone on the side in the luxurious bedroom.

The bath was incredible, the warm water and bubbles. Her chocolate skin soothed under the honeyed bath water. The décor in the bathroom was to die for, she put on music, gentle melodies floating through the room. She put her head under the water and when she wiped the water from her eyes the Prince was sitting at the bottom of the bath.

'Princess you look so beautiful this morning. Was your breakfast good?'

'It was perfect,' She smiled, 'Just like you.'

She lightened his mood. He picked out a huge white towel, Star stood up and he wrapped her into it. He picked her up and carried her to the bed. He placed her down gently and kissed her moist lips. Star was aching for her Prince, for another mind blowing sex session. She wanted to writhe beneath him in sheer ecstasy. She got her wish.

Isis was watching all of Daen’s plans unfold as she had spelled a pool of water in a sacred bowl as she had done for the millennia before. Whomever she thought of would appear in the water. She was watching Daen closer than ever, disgusted at his behaviour. Isis left her watching pool and decided to go to the library.

She'd heard somebody in there, their heart beating and a voice. Intrigued, although she knew that there were archaeologists poking around again, one of them must have taken a lucky turn.

Isis floated down to the library, she saw a young woman looking through her ancient texts.

'May I help you?' Asked Isis.

Eliza turned to where the warm voice had come from shocked.

'Er I was er just looking.'

'You didn’t think anyone lived here?' Smiled Isis.

'No, I’m sorry. I believed this to be an ancient tomb.' Eliza fidgeted, feeling as if she’d just walked into the queen’s lair – intruding somewhere important.

'This is no ancient tomb. An ancient temple maybe, and my home for the last three thousand years. My home, and now yours Eliza. I’m sorry but I can’t let you leave now. You are however welcome to read my library, although at least one of my books is missing, have you got it?' Isis smiled once more.

'How do you know my name?' Asked Eliza.

'I know more than you could ever comprehend.'

'I know where the book is.'

Isis look quizzically at her, she could see her sister Amelia floating around.

Eliza fainted.

Blue woke up in Daen’s bed. The previous night had been so surreal, she was overtaken with lust. To see his face when he opened the door melted her heart, his smiling eyes and his perfect words. He picked her up and took her breathe away, again.

The whole night was a blood fuelled mix of memories for Blue, she drank his blood, she now ached more than she could have previously imagined. She thought to herself, that they must have done some particularly exotic activities and now she had decided that is all it was – a blood lust.

Now this morning all she can think about is Pierre. The guilty after thoughts drilling through her mind, the sobering feeling and the realisation of '
Oh God what have I done?'.
Blue's
birthday in bed with Pierre, the dream she had the other night, it was so real, like he was there. She was now convinced that he was warning her about something, but she wouldn’t listen.
'Why the hell am I here in bed in Daen’s house? When all I can think about is Pierre.'
She thought to herself.

She climbed out of bed, dressed her battered and bruised body. Collected her things together, tiptoed out of his house and jumped into her car and drove. Not home to Star's mansion, she couldn't face being there, with Star asking her a million questions about everything that she couldn't bear to think about herself.

Blue thought about where she could go, the city, her own home in the city. No one had even been there since May, thank god she thought that the building was nice enough to have a maid, so it would be clean and not look like a hell hole. Her own bed, the thought of it made her feel happy, content even. It was the last place she saw Pierre. The last time she was there she was alive. The thought hit her like a tonne of bricks,
'I'm dead. I am undead.'
She started to cry, she hadn't even thought about it before. When you're still walking about in the sunshine, you don't tend to worry about being dead. Just when you're alone and in need of someone close to tell you everything will be alright.

'Baby, you just stay there with the kids. I can handle this myself.' She strapped the last remaining gun into the last remaining holster on her belt before fastening up her jacket, 'I’ve got the girls around. I’ll be fine, I promise. You keep my boys safe. I love you.'

'I love you too.'

Cleo hung up the phone, she was back in England. She had caught the earliest plane back to London. She didn't even care if there were other agents looking for her. They had Jayne, or rather Teresa had Jayne, and everyone else had disappeared off the face of the planet, so she was, as far as she were aware the only one who could save Jayne from what she could only imagine would be some pretty horrendous torture. Cleo had visited her equipment store on the way to Star’s house. She was ready for this fight. She was ready to kill again.

*

Jayne was sobbing to herself. Teresa had tied her to a dining chair. It was the most degrading experience of her life to date, but somehow she was still in love with this torturous bitch. The bitch that was brandishing the instruments of pain she had been enduring for the last seven long hours. Jayne pleaded with Teresa, telling her she could change her ways so that they could be together.

'Teresa please, I know you love me.'

Teresa wouldn’t listen, she couldn’t look her in the eye. She had betrayed this woman more than she had anyone in her entire life. She was a deadly assassin and had never been close to anyone in her life, until now and now she was torturing her new love. Twisted. She was enjoying it too, the ropes digging into Jayne’s wrists making the skin raw. Bleeding into the ropes, once dry would be a fresh nightmare to Jayne. Teresa wanted her to survive, she knew that Jayne had the capacity to forgive her this sadistic pleasure. Jayne was also naked, another point that turned Teresa on. Occasionally groping Jayne, penetrating her with her fingers, Jayne would beg for her to stop. Teresa just smiled into her eyes and carried on, Jayne felt ashamed for being unable to stop her physical reactions to what Teresa was doing to her. So she would be brought to orgasm and then beaten to within an inch of her life. Teresa kissed her hard, made her lips bleed, slapped her across the face. Teresa had never enjoyed her job so much, this night was perfection for her sick fantasies. She felt as if she were under dressed for the occasion, that she should be trussed up in corsets and leather, dark red leather to hide the blood.

The prince got out of the Limo first, once the driver had opened his door. He then leaned in and helped the beautiful Star out of the car. Today he wanted her to experience superior dining, so he’d flown them to Rome. After all there was no finer cuisine in his eyes than Italian. This somewhat surprised Star, she thought he would prefer more Arabic dishes.

She found again that the more she drank the more she understood his accent.

'Sweet Prince.' Star purred.

'Yes my Princess.' He replied.

'Do you think it would be wonderful if we invited Blue and Daen out with us one evening?'

'I think that would be horrendous' The prince strongly replied.

Star looked shocked and surprised,

'But why?'

'Because your friend is a waste of space, she doesn’t match you as a friend, she is beneath you!'

'What?' Star gasped.

'Please do not make a scene, this restaurant is exclusive, it is old money not like you and you will never be invited again with me or anybody else.'

Star just sat there and took in the insults about her friends and her nouveau rich status, she was besotted by this prince and whatever he said, she couldn’t disagree with, even when it went against her very core beliefs, she didn't want to embarrass herself.

The prince smiled to himself, the divide he was creating was working a treat.

'I can read anything in your library?' Eliza was awestruck.

'Of course, and you can ask me all the questions you want about all of it.' Replied Isis.

'Wow!' Eliza was amazed.

'Oh my God, you are really crap!' Amelia moaned.

'Shut up!' Eliza hissed.

'Children! Please! Amelia, Eliza, you are merely pawns in this story, in this little adventure, you have important parts to play in the prophecies!'

'What!' Exclaimed both Eliza and Amelia at the same time.

'You can see me?' Asked Amelia.

'Of course.' Said Isis.

Pierre didn’t want to go to Star’s, he went near there and sensed Daen’s presence. Instead he went to Blue’s apartment in the city, Star had been covering the bills until Blue got back on her feet again. He just wanted to sit there, the last time they had been there was the last day Blue had been there. Back in May, it was now late November. It seemed longer ago than just mere months. He climbed in through the window darkness greeted him, every burglar’s perfect weapon. He was silent, he could smell her as if she were there, a fresh scent.

He walked from the lounge to her bedroom, she was there, asleep on her bed, so quiet and vulnerable and yet different, more dangerous. His stomach ached, butterflies, he wanted to hold her.

He walked over and gently laid by her, placed his arms around her and squeezed her close. She was still asleep, she gave a pleasurable sigh and snuggled in closer. Pierre closed his eyes and drifted into her dreams.

Brett had been at the archaeological dig site for ages, hours and hours. He was beyond worried. He’d been trying to trace Eliza’s footsteps, but had lost them in the terrible mess of chaos that was that particular Egyptian dig site.

He felt like throwing up and giving up, but he kept picturing Eliza’s scared face, no batteries in left in her torch, praying for him to turn up. Her mobile went straight to voice mail every time he called her.

At midnight he gave up the long wait at the site and hoped she'd decided to go back to her hotel room, he went there to see if she may have somehow turned up.

Chapter Eleven.

'Get away from her! You bitch!' Cleo yelled.

Teresa turned around as Cleo had leapt at her, Cleo's foot connected with Teresa's jaw and sent her flying into the ground via the furniture scattered about in Jayne's room.

Jayne was tied naked to a chair looked like she had passed out for the moment, her head lulled to one side, her body was covered in bruises and scratches, blood smeared across her in various places, Cleo was disgusted at the sight of her. She'd been bound to the chair in the most humiliating degrading way possible, Cleo's heart went out to her.
