blessed release and if Brandr hadn’t been so deeply within her

mouth, she would have screamed. Rolf threw his head back and

bellowed loudly.

When Rolf pulled himself out of her, Brandr took his cock

from her mouth and went behind her. She whimpered when she

felt his head slide into her behind. She still felt hot and her body

closed around him. Rolf held her tightly and she cried out in

surprise when Brandr’s cock thrust up hard and her body tensed.

He removed himself completely and thrust again. She screamed

this time and choked on a gasp, continuing to tense. Why was he

being so rough? She hadn’t denied him. Sky groaned and panted

and pleaded with him to be gentle, but he thrust harder. She would

have collapsed if Rolf hadn’t held her so tightly. Brandr pumped

wildly until he came. Sky could barely breathe and began sobbing.

When Rolf released her, she slumped to her side and wiped at

her eyes. Brandr was frowning down at her and asked her a

question. She was amazed he wanted to know if he had hurt her.

She nodded and he looked concerned and even contrite. Rolf

pulled her against his chest and ran his hands over her soothingly.

He pulled her into his arms and held her close, stroking her

behind. He said something to Brandr who had been hovering as

though not knowing what to do and he nodded. Brandr dressed and

left the hut. Before long he returned with more soft leather. Sky

was able to cover herself effectively.

Brandr, still appearing concerned, picked up his bow and

arrow and indicated he was going hunting. Sky felt herself panic.

She went to him and clung to him. After all Brandr had been her

entire world for days. She didn’t know this Rolf and after only

having met him, he had already helped himself to her body, albeit

she had been agreeable, but what was he going to do next? Would

he give her to others? Her reality crashed around her; he may look

like her Rolf, but he wasn’t. This wasn’t a fantasy world; other

men were about. Brandr had hurt her, but she sensed he felt bad.

Another wouldn’t care. Would Rolf share her while Brandr was

away? The only one Brandr had allowed to touch her was Rolf. The

entire village was full of massively built men; who would protect

her?

“Brandr, don’t leave me,” she pleaded.

His hand cupped her chin and his thumb stroked her cheek.

He walked her over to Rolf. He put Sky’s hand onto Rolf’s arm.

“Sky, Brandr’s, Rolf’s,” he said.

“Sky, Brandr’s and Rolf’s only?” She could hear the

desperation in her voice.

To her relief, he understood her and nodded.

Sky relaxed, knowing she wouldn’t be shared. Her frantic

breathing slowed. Brandr smiled at her. Tenderly he kissed her

lips. He muttered something she was certain was another apology.

She didn’t mind him having her; she just hadn’t wanted him so

rough. Sky pressed her face to his chest. He had been taking care of

her. She guessed he wasn’t used to having his own woman and

being concerned with her needs—he was now. She could see it in

his expression.

Sky watched the door close behind Brandr and stood for long

moments with uncertainty. Behind her, Rolf cleared his throat. She

turned to face him. His head was cocked to one side and he wore a

teasing cheeky grin. No doubt he wanted to make her feel at ease.

He was so handsome and she felt her heart flip flop as she gazed up

at him. His hair was longer, almost to his shoulders and he hadn’t

shaven that day. His eyes were the same stunning blue as her

Rolf’s. When he cupped her chin in his hand, she wanted to melt

into a puddle. Why could this man make her feel so utterly

befuddled?

He led her to a wooden chair where he sat her down after

placing a soft stuffed leather cushion over the hard wood to protect

her sore bottom and gave her some bread and cheese. He poured

some liquid into a mug and set it before her. The fermented brew

was sweet and strong and she liked it immensely. He went behind

her and began to rub her shoulders. His hands felt so good. She

told herself again this wasn’t her Rolf. Her Rolf was overprotective

and wasn’t attracted to her. This Rolf was. This Rolf gazed at her

like her Rolf looked at Colleen. How could that be when he didn’t

know her?

Rolf bent down and began kissing the nape of her neck,

disturbing her thoughts. His lips were pure bliss. He lifted the mug

to her mouth again and she swallowed more. She felt so

completely relaxed when he led her back to the furs. She winced

when he lay her down and he turned her onto her belly. He

removed her clothes and continued to rub her back releasing any

remaining tension. His powerful hands slid lower and stroked

softly at her behind. From his tender gesture, she guessed she was

badly bruised from where Brandr had hit her. His fingers reached

under her to rub at her clit and she moaned. Sky wanted him inside

her. She wished her backside didn’t hurt so much. She wanted to

look into his eyes when he made love to her.

Sky’s hips were lifted and Rolf slid his cock into her heat. He

felt so amazing. She went up on her hands to rock against him. He

took her harder than last time, but he was still gentle. His pelvis

didn’t connect with her tender behind. He was so big and she

could feel strength in his hands. She didn’t care he wasn’t the other

Rolf, this was her own Rolf. The one who wanted her.

His fingers were doing such delicious things to her one breast.

Warm moist lips sucked and licked at her back and shoulders. With

each gentle thrust she could feel the heat of his thighs against her.

In her fantasies they had been together rolling around on satin

sheets, not piles of fur. But this was definitely better. Nothing her

fantasies could concoct had ever been as wonderful as what she was

doing now. Sky pushed back against him. To her amazement she

could feel another climax creeping over her. It wasn’t possible,

was it? But it seemed to be. Her mouth opened wide as wave after

wave of pleasure assaulted everywhere at once. She had never done

that
in her fantasy.

Sky tensed when his slick finger slid into her ass. She was

suddenly whimpering, remembering the pain Brandr had caused.

Rolf shushed her. His huge cock slid up into her and she groaned.

He was patient and gentle. He said soothing words and Sky relaxed

under him. He wasn’t thrusting but rocking carefully. She was still

sore and moaned when his pace increased. He held her steady. His

fingers worked her clit. Round and round his thumb slid against

her until Sky grit her teeth. She felt like a puddle of liquid desire.

Sky cried out his name when she came. She trembled when she

heard Rolf roar behind her. His pace slowed then stopped. She

could hear his panting breath.

When he removed himself, Sky slipped over onto her side.

She was filled with amazement. A man she had never met made her

so hot with passion, she willed herself not to reach for him as he

rose to his feet. She watched him stroll over to a bucket hanging on

a peg. He removed a long ladle and tossed the water over his head.

The fire from the hearth spit and sizzled when he tossed his head

side to side and flung off the water. He then downed great gulping

mouthfuls. He offered some to her but she shook her head. To her

surprise he dipped a cloth into the water and began washing

himself.
A clean conscious barbarian, interesting.
As she watched, she

sensed another purpose. He moved the dripping cloth over himself

in a sensuous motion. Sky could see him harden. He grinned over

at her. She had to admit the man had a great deal of stamina. Soon

enough he was hard again. The cloth dropped to the ground. He

looked predatory as he prowled back to her.

Rolf turned her onto her back and pulled her legs up around

him. His huge arm wrapped under her hips keeping her behind

from the furs. Droplets of water rolled down his body to land on

her. She felt each individual splash. He thrust into her vaginally and

Sky gasped in surprise. He wasn’t hurting her, but when he used

his power, she moaned as his muscles bulged and flexed. Her hands

pushed at his chest, but he gripped her wrists with one hand and

held them over her head. His blue eyes were so intense she became

locked in time. They were the only ones in that moment. She

never wanted it to end.

He took her harder, harder than any man ever had, including

Brandr. Sky panted his name and screamed when she came again.

Rolf threw his head back and howled. He collapsed on top of her.

Sky was exhausted. Her fantasy had become a reality. Her eyes

closed and she fell asleep with him buried inside her.

It was late when Brandr returned. Rolf and Sky were curled

up together in the furs. The fire in the hearth had been banked for

the night and just a small glow gave him sufficient light. Brandr

lifted Rolf’s flask and hefted its weight. Half was gone. Both Brandr

and Rolf were concerned when Sky cried after Brandr had taken

her. He hadn’t meant to be cruel, he was just eager. He knew he

was only the second to have her that way, but thought Rolf had

prepared her since his cock was huge. Brandr felt awful. He always

seemed to be hurting her.

Brandr settled down at the table and munched on some bread.

He had wanted to hunt not only for food but for the peace it would

offer so he could think. When he had seen Sky for the first time in

the clearing he had thought the boy to be small and of no

challenge, so he hadn’t even drawn his sword. He would have

allowed him to retreat and would have caused him no harm—but

the boy wouldn’t know that. He had snapped the twig on purpose

and waited for the boy’s face to light with terror at the sight of

him. Brandr was surprised the boy had run to him instead of away,

and looked thrilled he was there. It was so unexpected to have

what he thought to be a young warrior wrap his arms around him.

Brandr had been shocked. And when he had asked for Rolf, he was

confused. Rolf was a common name; though, he had thought

perhaps it was the name of the boy’s father. Perhaps he was lost

and fear of loneliness had set in.

A thought had occurred making him wonder if the boy was

from the village that had been destroyed by raiders. Brandr and his

hunting party had been too late to be of any help. The scene had

been sickening. It always made Brandr furious to see the senseless

slaughter of helpless women and children.
What warrior would

commit such a tragedy on the defenseless?
Brandr and the others had left

the victims where they lay. Their village men would want to bury

their own. They must have been out in a large hunting party. Only

a few elderly Vikings had been left behind as guards. A fateful

mistake in this day and age. A thought had occurred to him that

perhaps the boy had run in terror; the only one to have survived

the slaughter. Perhaps he had been searching for help.

When Cull had suggested they kill him, as he could pose a

threat to their own village if he was the lost son of a raider, Brandr

had made a point of pointing out how small he was. Thin neck,

easy to break; tiny arms with no power. This boy was no threat.

More of a nuisance really. And just because he had come from the

direction of the burned village didn’t necessarily mean he was from

there or had been involved in any way—although Cull had a point

when he said he couldn’t speak their language; an inhabitant from

the village would have understood. Still, Brandr felt there had been

enough death; he wouldn’t wage war on a weakling boy. The blow

the boy had struck to his chest had been both pitiful and pathetic—

still he should not have risked angering a warrior and was taught a

lesson. Another warrior might not be as lenient.

When Brandr had first pulled his sword and the boy had cried

in terror, he knew immediately this was no training warrior and

thought perhaps it was a willful lad who had stolen his older

brother’s clothes. They were in fact much too large. He had

thought to punish the rascal with hard work. If he wanted to be a

warrior, he should act like one. Then Cull had claimed the boy to

be too feminine and was most likely used by others, a slave, and

had stolen the clothes and run. Brandr had thought he might be

right, but regardless the boy was in his possession now. Cull had

been persistent in his want of the boy. Brandr was at a loss as to

why, except he would make Cull’s life easier if he was made to
