“I want you, Luke,” I breathe.

“You have me forever, my sweet Lilly
flower,” Luke says.

I roll over so I am astride him and look
down at him. He is so amazingly handsome. I run my hands up his
shirt feeling his tight abs twitch under my touch. Reaching his
chest I pull his shirt over his head and he helps me then throws it
out of the way.

I pull my shirt off and throw it in the same
direction. Luke sits up cupping my breasts in his hands, kissing
the round mounds along the lacey hem. I reach behind me to unhook
it as Luke grabs the straps and slides the lacey bra off my
shoulders. It, too, gets thrown into the pile of discarded
clothes.

“I love you so much,” Luke whispers, his
voice muffled as his face is buried in my chest.

“Make love to me, Luke Hansen.”

Luke rolls me over so he is on top of me and
we both slide our shorts off. Together we bring each other to
climax, our bodies as one.

Lying naked next to each other, with my head
resting on Luke’s arm, we stare up at the night sky propped up on
soft oversized pillows.

“That is Cassiopeia there.” Luke points out
some constellations using his finger as he tries to outline the
stars to show me.

“Cassiopeia, wasn’t she an evil queen?”

“She was a vain queen,” he corrects me,
kissing the top of my head.

“Oh.” My eyes are getting tired, but I am so
comfortable and I feel myself nodding off. I still hear Luke
talking about other constellations as I fall asleep.

I awake still wrapped in Luke’s arm. The sky
is lighter and it’s apparent the sun is about to rise. I move to
rub my eyes and stretch, which awakens Luke. I feel hot as the
humidity has risen. I know that the day is supposed to be very
warm. Thunderstorms are likely is what the forecast said and it
feels like it in the air.

“Let’s go inside, I’m hot,” I tell Luke as I
sit up fanning myself. Luke hops up and pulls on his shorts. I wrap
the blanket around me and begin walking to the door when I am swept
off my feet and into Luke’s arms. He picks me up with such ease,
his strong arms cradling me.

“Allow me,” he says with a giant grin and
walks through the door. I wrap my arms around his neck and enjoy
the instant coolness of the air conditioning as we head to our
room. As we pass Jacob’s room, I notice that his door is open and
his bed is made as if he hasn’t been in it all night.

“That’s weird,” Luke also notices and has a
look of confusion. Luke lays me on the bed lightly and gives me a
gentle kiss on the lips. He has an obviously preoccupied look on
his face, and I know he is thinking the same thing as me. I am
wondering where Jacob is also, it being 4:30 in the morning.

“I’m just going to check and make sure
everything is all right?”

“I’ll come with you.” I untangle myself from
the blanket. Luke whistles approvingly at my naked body. I grab a
cami and some cotton shorts from my dresser. I follow Luke out of
the room.

The house is quiet and dark. We see a dim
light coming from the office. Standing in the doorway, we see Jacob
and Lucy asleep on the leather couch. Fully clothed, Lucy is laying
next to Jacob with her head resting on his chest and his arm
wrapped around her. A steady beep is coming from the computer and
it sounds like a tracking device.

“I thought he liked her,” Luke whispers as
we walk into the kitchen and my stomach growls. I am famished and
never got the chance to eat last night.

“Uh yeah, it is totally obvious.” I roll my
eyes at Luke.

“Well, excuse me, miss know it all.”

“Toast?” I hold up some bread. Luke nods in
agreement giving me a slap on the butt before he sits at the island
watching my every move.

I bite off the corner of my toast as I lean
against the island across from Luke staring at the beautiful face
looking back at me.

“What are you thinking about? You look like
you’re in deep thought, my love,” Luke finishes off his toast and
pushes his plate aside. He reaches over the counter to touch my
hand and the veins protrude from his muscular sculpted arm. His
warm touch sends electricity through me.

“Thinking about you and how much I love
you.”

“I love you, too, sweet Lilly.” He gets up
from his chair and circles the island to come up behind me. Sliding
his arm around my waist, he nestles his face in my hair and
whispers, “Are you done eating?”

I nod as I reach up and entangle my hands in
his hair. He starts to place kisses down my neck sending a shiver
up my spine. Before I know what’s happening, he has me turned
around and lowers his shoulders to my waist. He heaves me up so I
am thrown over his shoulders like a sack of potatoes.

I let out a squeal of shock and I hear him
shush me through his teeth. He slaps my bottom playfully as he
hauls me up the steps.

The look in his eyes is dark with hunger as
he throws me on the bed and crawls on the bed on top of me.

“I am going to make love to you until you
beg for mercy,” he groans lifting my shirt over my head and burying
his face in between my breasts.

“Please do,” I coo pulling him to my lips
and kissing him hard, letting him know that I want nothing more. An

aching for him, like it never has before. His eyes grow dark and I

, lying breathless next to him. I curl

throws the blanket over us, and before I know it, I am

Chapter 39

I awake a few hours later blinded by the sun
that is streaming through the window. Luke is still by my side and
I pull the blanket over my head to shield my eyes from the
brightness. Luke stirs next to me as I throw my leg over his waist
and rub his chest. Feeling the ever familiar erection with my leg,
I smile to myself knowing how much I turn him on. It makes me ache
down deep for him and I know I will never get enough of this
man.

After some more sex and a shower, we go down
to the kitchen for some breakfast. I am so pleased when I smell
bacon as we reach the bottom of the steps. I need some protein
having used up so much energy in the past twelve hours having

Entering the kitchen, it appears we are the
first ones up. Miss Finnegan is busy setting out plates and glasses
when she sees us enter. “Good morning,” she says, her face lighting
up when she sees us. “I was beginning to think I made all of this
for no one?”

“Don’t worry, we are very hungry.” I smile
at her before pouring Luke and I a cup of coffee. We both help
ourselves to eggs and bacon. Then sit next to each other and shovel
in the food.

“That smells great Miss F,” Jacob says as he
enters the kitchen kissing Miss Finnegan on the cheek before he
grabs his food. Not far behind him, Lucy enters in the same clothes
she was wearing yesterday and her face is flushed with
embarrassment.

“Lucy spent the night. It was late when she
got done installing her program, so I made her sleep on the couch.”
Jacob instantly comes to her defense not wanting her to feel shame.
He gives her a wink and she smiles back at him as if she is saying
thank you.

“Thank you, Lucy. I can safely say that you
are going above and beyond your job description.” My response is
quick so she feels no discomfort in the situation.

“It’s my pleasure, Lilly, but I think I will
go home so I can shower and change before I start the day. Is that
is alright with you?”

“Don’t be silly! Of course, whatever you
need to do.” I wave my hand at her as if it was absurd that she
even has to ask to be able to go home.

“I was thinking maybe you should pack a bag
of clothes in case you end up staying late again,” Jacob whispers
sheepishly to her and it makes her blush more. Luke and I glance
knowingly at each other. They are not aware that we found them
cuddled up last night, even though it delights me. I wouldn’t dream
of embarrassing either one of them with what they are keeping
secret.

“That’s a good idea, Lucy, at least for
comforts sake,” I tell her. She seems nervous at my reaction and I
want to put her at ease. Her cheeks flush red and I feel like she
knows we know.

“Looks like Emma needs to pack a bag also,”
Luke snorts as Emma walks around the island heading straight for
the coffee. She looks disheveled and her hair is messed up. She is
wearing an oversized t-shirt that is obviously one of Jimmy’s. I
smack Luke’s thigh at his comment, but can’t help but laugh at her
very obvious just fucked look.

“What do you mean, also?” Jimmy appears
behind us only wearing shorts, his bare chest ripped with muscles.
His face is beaming as he watches Emma sit and start to drink her
coffee. She is not a morning person and the very opposite of Jacob
and Lucy. She doesn’t seem to care that we all know Jimmy and her
hooked up last night.

“Nothing” I shoot Jimmy a look to drop it. I
did not want to draw attention to Jacob and Lucy’s privacy.

Jimmy seems to not really care what Luke
meant because he shrugs it off and walks around the curved edge of
the island to Emma. He places his hand deep in her hair at the
scalp and he yanks her head back kissing her deeply, which she
returns with equal passion.

“Good morning gorgeous,” he whispers to her
loud enough we all hear. She cracks a smile at him, and I could see
she isn’t totally awake. I can tell she is into him completely. He
sits next to her and wraps his arms around her shoulders. She leans
into his bare chest as if they are the only two people in the
room.

Jacob walks Lucy out and returns to the
kitchen after he has showered and changed.

I am helping Miss Finnegan clean up while
Luke is on his laptop. Jimmy and Emma have disappeared into the
bedroom again, which I was grateful for since they were getting
very handsy with each other.

“Talk about get a room,” I whispered to Luke
when they started groping each other.

Emma shot me a look for using her words
against her before she headed for the bedroom. Jimmy in tow behind
her like a lost puppy.

“Did you guys find out anything about the
hacker?” Luke asks after Jacob returns and sits next to him.

“Not yet. Unfortunately, Shawn is coming to
‘check out the situation,’” Jacobs says nervously at the thought of
his boss’s arrival. They don’t get along and I have been working on
trying to get him out of his contract with the company. “I don’t
think he is going to like that Lucy has connected to MSG’s
systems.”

“Why not? The sole purpose of me paying the
Militant Security Group a small fortune is to catch this guy, isn’t
it? If he thinks he is going to come in my house and start ordering
people around, he’s got another thing coming.” The whole idea of
Shawn Waters makes my blood boil. He is greedy, pompous, and an
arrogant piece of shit in my book.

Luke rubs my forearm lightly when I walk to
stand next to him and lean on the counter. “Easy baby, you know
what you do to me when you get all feisty,” Luke whispers in my ear
sending a shiver down me and making my belly tighten.

“When will he be here?”

“Within the hour,” Jacob’s jaw twitches. He
is so easy to read. Another reason I can’t stand Shawn is because
of the way he treats Jacob. He takes him for granted and is always
making him feel like he is failing.

“Don’t worry buddy, we got your back.” Luke
taps Jacob’s shoulder in a kind gesture that makes my heart warm.
Two of the most important men in my life are becoming good
friends.

Jacob nods at Luke with a sincere,
“Thanks.”

Luke and I study some websites for carpet and
hardwood ideas for the master. I wish we could actually go out and
shop, but Luke won’t allow it until the maniac is caught. So I have
to deal with being a prisoner in my own home for a while
longer.

Every once in a while, we hear little
squeals and moans coming from the room off the family room, and
being almost noon I wonder if they are ever going to come up for
air. Hearing the sounds of their sex makes Luke and I giggle like
school children extremely happy for our friends.

“Way to go buddy,” Luke says when we hear
Emma calling out his name.

Jacob enters the kitchen with Shawn behind
him. Not wanting Shawn to hear the porno going on just a few feet
away, I suggested that we talk in the office.

The computer is still beeping away trying to
locate the tracker. Jacob explains to Shawn the program Lucy set
up.

“This is not how we do things, Jacob,” Shawn
says sternly talking down to Jacob. “I’m afraid you have put MSG at
risk. How could you be so stupid and let some random girl connect
to our system?” He stands with his arms crossed like he is putting
on a show to make sure we all know that he is the alpha male.
