She
stiffened under his touch. “If I had a bandage or something. Maybe a doctor
should look at it.”

“No need. A
doctor wouldn’t know what to do.” Then his hands slid over her hips and he
lifted her onto the bathroom counter with one simple movement.

Sibyl
gasped. How strong was he? “You didn’t have to do that.”

Powerful
hands gripped onto her fleshy sides, and he smiled. “I wanted to.”

How could
all three of them leave her breathless like that? Make her heart beat so fast
and irregular? She held the towel tight and tried to grin back. It probably
came out strained.

His fingers
slipped down her legs, and his pale brows knitted over when he looked at the
wound. Then he cleaned it with a cotton ball and some hydrogen peroxide.
Strangely, it didn’t even hurt.

Every time
his flesh brushed against hers, it sent a little shock over her skin and
goosebumps raised in the wake of his fingers. Just a touch turned her on. That
never happened before, not with any other boyfriend.

Only Gabe,
Jonathan and Adrian had that effect on her body.

“How long
have you been in a pack with Gabe?” she asked and chewed on her bottom lip. The
silence seemed to weight on her.

“Since we
were kids. This area has been our territory for years. Adrian and I defend it
while Gabe’s working in Sacramento.”

Territory?
Defend? They really were like normal wolves! “Why did he move to Sacramento if
this is his, uh, territory?”

Jonathan
dabbed the bite marks with antiseptic and wrapped her leg with a bandage. His
lips brushed her knee. “He was looking for you, Sibyl. When he found you, he
needed to find a way to get you up here.”

Her cheeks
flushed. “But he’s been my boss for a year! This is the first time he even
mentioned this place.”

Jonathan’s fingers
crept up her thighs and she tried to squeeze them shut, but his touch was too
powerful. “We needed to prepare for a mate after being alone for so long,” he
said. Those sexy lips brushed her other knee and she almost squeaked.

Why did they
keep doing this to her?

“Prepare
what?”

With one
slick movement, he forced her thighs open and licked his lips. “The house
needed to be fixed and furnished. We spared no expense for you – for us.”

Sibyl fought
to close her legs, but Jonathan was too strong. Instead, she shoved the towel
over her weeping entrance. If he saw her like that, what would he think?

“Don’t cover
yourself up. I want to look at you,” he growled and yanked the towel away.

It slipped
out of her fingers so quickly there was nothing to be done about it. She
wiggled on the countertop, pushing at his silky blond hair, but that just
seemed to urge him forward.

“Why are you
fighting what you know you want?” he asked. His tongue flicked out and traced
the flesh on her thigh, flooding her pussy further.

She
squealed. “What are you doing?”

Jonathan
didn’t answer with words. His mouth moved toward her velvety heat and caressed
it. Lips and tongue danced over the surface of her needy clit with the utmost
delicacy, devouring her completely.

Her fingers
dug into his hair, gripping him for support as his assault continued. No man
ever did that to her before. She’d never let them, but Sibyl couldn’t fight
Jonathan off, just like she couldn’t fight off Adrian or Gabe.

The flame of
his tongue lapped and licked in circles, tasting her pink entrance with each
probe. His fingers gripped her thighs, but she had no interest in closing them.
Not now. She leaned back on the counter and gave into the pleasure.

“Oh,” she
gasped as the ecstasy simmered through her veins. It was so close to
overflowing!

With a final
swish, he sent her over the edge. Sibyl moaned and writhed as the orgasm
exploded within her. It rocked her body, made her breath come in shallow gasps,
and her fingers left little marks on Jonathan’s shoulders.

“You taste
like a dream,” he grumbled and peppered her thighs with kisses. Then his
smoldering lips moved up her skin and toward her breasts. He engulfed her
pebbled nipple with his mouth and suckled.

“Jonathan,”
she gasped as his bulge ground against her.

Then
something crashed outside and the lights in the ceiling flickered and died.

“Again?” he
grumbled and moved back. His back stiffened and he frowned.

Sibyl stared
at him and closed her legs. She lost control of herself again. That never
happened before she met them.

He looked
out of the bedroom window and sniffed the air. “I’ll be back soon. Get dressed
and stay here.” His voice was different than before, serious and strained.

“What’s
going on?” she asked as she hoped off the counter and gathered her clothes from
the suitcase. Standing naked in front of him wasn’t something she wanted to do,
even after he pleasured her like that.

“It’s our
rival pack. If they know we found a mate – shit! Stay here!” he said and
rushed out. His footsteps pounded down the stairs.

Sibyl got
dressed as quickly as possible and peeked outside. The blanket of white lay
over the ground, even though it was June. She squinted and noticed footprints
in the snow – animal footprints. Were those the paw marks of her
werewolves or the rival wolves?

She wrapped
her arms over her shoulders and chewed her bottom lip.

A few
moments later, her three mates stalked across the snow in their wolf forms and
four more animals emerged from the trees to meet them. Sibyl’s breath caught in
her throat as the creatures growled at each other. From that angle, the rival
wolves looked bigger and more dangerous than the men she knew.

They walked
around each other in circles, their ears pressed flat to their heads. Were they
doing this to protect her? What would the other pack do if they found out she
was there? Kill her? Kidnap her?

Then one of
the rival wolves jumped forward and her stomach lurched. The animals tore at
each other with fangs and claws. Fur flew into the air and the snow kicked up.
They moved through the trees so she couldn’t see them properly, and she fought
the urge to open the window just to know what was going on.

Howls and
whimpers sounded outside, and she slunk to the floor and gripped the window
seal with all her strength. She might not know them well, but she didn’t want
anything to happen to them. Not after last night.

Sibyl held
her breath and squeezed her eyes shut. This was new and strange, but it wasn’t
really bad. Three gorgeous men wanted her – that might take some getting
used to, but they were also willing to protect her.

No one had
ever been willing to do that before.

She didn’t
want them to die. She didn’t want the rival pack to get her.

She wanted
her mates back.

After a long
while, something banged at the front door and her blood froze in her veins. Was
it the rival pack? Were they trying to get in?

Bang.

Bang.

Bang.

She crept
out of the room and peered over the bannister.

Bang.

Sibyl
jumped, then took a deep breath. If they rival pack was trying to get in did
that mean Gabe and others lost? Were they all dead?

What was she
supposed to do now?

Bang.

“Sibyl. Open
up!” Adrian called.

Relief
flooded over her as she ran down the stairs. Her fingers shook, but she turned
the lock and opened the door.

Gabe stood
between Jonathan and Adrian. His head was bleeding, and all three men were
naked and matted with dirt, snow and blood.

“What
happened?” she cried. There were going to make a mess all over the nice floor,
but she didn’t say that. Their well-being was more important than something
that silly.

“We fought
those bastards off, like usual,” Adrian snarled.

“Bath,
please,” Jonathan said.

Sibyl headed
toward the stairs, but the blond wolf grabbed her arm. “No. In the back room.
There’s a shower area near the sauna.”

Her heart
pounded in her chest, but she headed toward the sauna. All three werewolves
followed. A beautiful bathroom was tucked next to the sauna with four different
shower heads. The wolves stepped under the water and washed the mess from their
skin. Gabe stood on his own now, though she saw the cut on the side of his head
once it was clean.

Sibyl watched
and made note of all their injuries. Adrian’s leg was deeply scratched, causing
him to limp. Jonathan had gashes and teeth mark on his arms and along the
strong muscles of his chest. Besides Gabe’s head wound, he also sported a large
bite on his powerful shoulder.

They did all
that for her. Sibyl’s eyes welled with tears and she ran out of the room,
swiping at them. She had to do something in return – help them anyway she
could. She grabbed the first aid materials from the bathroom upstairs and ran
back to them. When she burst into the room, slightly out of breath, all three
wolves were comparing injuries.

She frowned.
“Sit down. And stop poking each other!”

All eyes
fell on her, and Gabe smiled. “Are you giving us orders?”

She set her
mouth into a pout and shrugged. “Maybe. I – I have to tend to your wounds
before lunch. So please, sit down.”

“That’s more
like it,” Adrian said and sat. “You can see to me first, girlie.”

Sibyl’s cheeks
heated. “That’s more like what?”

“What a mate
would say,” Gabe said and kissed the back of her head.

She took a
deep breath to calm the pounding of her heart and the heat in her panties. Then
she got to work on their wounds. Adrian flinched when she dapped his cuts with
peroxide.

“Will those
wolves come back?” she asked, wrapping his leg tightly.

Adrian
snorted, and Jonathan shrugged. “We hope not, but we’ll always be here to
protect you if they do.”

She turned
to the blond wolf and motioned for him to come over. Jonathan did.

“Why?” she
mumbled. “Why protect me at all.”

“Stupid
question. You’re our mate, remember when we claimed you last night? Or should
we do that again?” Adrian said with a smirk.

Gabe rolled
his eyes. “It’s what mates do, Sibyl. Like a husband would protect his wife,
we’ll protect you with our lives. We belong together.”

Her heart
nearly jumped into her throat, and her fingers trembled as she finished with
Jonathan’s injuries. He kissed her hand and stood up.

Gabe sat
down in his place.

She stared
at her boss and dabbed his head wound first. “I’m sorry to put you through so
much trouble. Maybe you shouldn’t have claimed me at all if this is what
happens.”

The alpha
wolf caught her wrist and shook his head. The dark red hair fell into his green
eyes. “Don’t say that. We would fight a hundred wolf packs for you. Your our
mate. Our only mate – and that’s the way it is, Sibyl. Stop assuming this
was some fluke.”

She tried to
pull her hand out of his grip, but he was too strong. “But I’m not worth it.
I’m just – look at me!”

All three
wolves stared at her. “You’re hot,” Adrian said with a dangerous smile.

“Beautiful,”
Jonathan said, his blue eyes twinkling.

Gabe’s
fingers traced up her thigh, under her dress. “Perfect,” he said.

“But how
could you think that?”

Adrian threw
his arms up into the air. “Because you are. Fuck. It’s not like we can unclaim
you. Do you think we’re lying or something?”

Sibyl
shrugged and cleaned Gabe’s shoulder wound. How could she explain to three
gorgeous men all the hurt she’d been through? All the pain inflicted by her
peers throughout the years. She was
never
good enough for anyone –
why would they think she was?

“Yes,” she
admitted. It was just like a cruel joke one of the handsome boys in high school
would’ve played on her. She stared at her hands and bit her lip to hold back
the tears.

Gabe grabbed
her chin and forced her to look up. “Sibyl. You don’t want us?” he asked and
ran his finger over her cheek.

“No. That’s
not it. I’m just being stupid.” How could she tell them she didn’t believe them
because of how she looked?

“Yeah. You
are,” Adrian said, and Jonathan growled at him.

“Then what
are you keeping from us?” Gabe asked. His fingers seemed to brush the pain
away, at least a little bit, and his green eyes sparked with concern.

She pulled
her chin out of his grip and stood up. “I'm fat! Look at me. You can’t possibly
want me like this!”

The room was
silent for a moment, and Sibyl was afraid they’d laugh or make a joke. Or even
worse – maybe they’d agree with her and shove her aside.
