When Isa added a second finger, Kailynn’s
hips rolled down, bringing Isa deeper inside. She moaned, one hand moving from
the sheets to rest over her chest, gently pinching and pulling at one of her
nipples. Her hips continued to grind on Isa’s hand as the Elite’s mouth worked
her clit.

As Isa’s fingers crooked and flexed,
adding pressure to the front wall, Kailynn’s cries changed, becoming more
desperate and choked. She began babbling, moaning Isa’s name over and over
again. She could feel the pleasure building to an unbearable point, but she was
sure it had never been so intense before. Her entire body was singing with
bliss.

With a cry, her hips snapped and began
writhing on Isa’s fingers. Her orgasm consumed everything of her being. Every
pore of her body was bursting with sheer pleasure. She had never experienced
something so intense. Her breaths continued in pants, broken and exhausted as
the final waves of her orgasm slowed and settled once more.

Isa’s fingers slowly left Kailynn and she
crawled back up to capture Kailynn’s lips in a kiss.

The Elite’s slow, gentle kisses brought
Kailynn back to the moment.

Before the Elite could register what had
happened, Kailynn flipped them, settling on top of Isa as the Elite stared at
her in shock. It was the first time Kailynn had been able to notice the need in
Isa’s countenance. Her cheeks were flushed, her eyes bright with desire and
lust. Her body was barely shaking, trying to stay restrained and in control of
her pleasure.

Kailynn’s hands went all over Isa’s body,
massaging the full breasts and following the slope of her waist. She stripped
off Isa’s panties and her fingers went to the warm, soft flesh she found there.

Isa’s eyes closed and a shuddered breath
left her lips. Kailynn thought it was the sexiest sound she had ever heard.

With the heel of her hand rubbing across
Isa’s clit, she slid one finger inside, amazed and flattered at the wetness she
found. Isa took in a small gasp of air before her head turned, her eyes tightly
closed. Her breathing was causing her breasts to catch Kailynn’s attention. She
gently kissed the side of one of Isa’s breasts and then placed her mouth around
the nipple, her tongue pressing down on the nub, moving it inside her mouth.

Isa moaned quietly when Kailynn added
another finger and used the same technique Isa had used, crooking her fingers
forward and pumping them in and out. Isa bit her lip, her eyes fluttering open
to meet Kailynn’s.

They quickly snapped shut and Isa’s back
arched, her release much quieter than Kailynn’s. The Significant held Isa,
letting the final tremors of her orgasm ebb away before she removed her
fingers.

Their eyes met in exhausted rapture.

There was no turning back.

Chapter
Twelve

Even through the fog of her hangover,
Kailynn knew she was in danger.

Kailynn slid out of the bed, not putting
any thought to where Isa was as she stepped into the Golden Elite’s bathroom.
Her head was foggy and there was a crippling sense of fear as she recounted
everything that had happened the previous night. She walked to the shower and
stepped in, pressing whatever buttons she could to get the water running. When
the hot water began beating over her head, she lowered herself to the floor of
the shower and cradled her aching head in her hands.

Kailynn was not completely inexperienced
with women. She had been very drunk one night a year previous and had had a
threesome with Raphael and Viv. Raphael had been too drunk to participate as
enthusiastically as he would have liked, leaving Kailynn and Viv to play with
one another while Raphael watched. That night had felt forbidden in a different
sort of light. It had been her first threesome and, at the time, she and
Raphael had been in a fairly-monogamous relationship.

But her night with Isa had been an
entirely different level of forbidden. She had just put her life on the line.
If anyone knew what she and Isa had done, she would be killed swiftly and
silently.

Isa held Kailynn’s life in her hands. Isa
had only to say that Kailynn had forced her into sex and that would be the end
of it. In a similar way, Isa could hold that threat over Kailynn’s head to get
her to do whatever she wanted.

Kailynn had made herself into Isa’s slave
in one night of drunken abandon.

But she knew
she
had made that decision. Isa did not force her. She was the one
who led them both into the bedroom.

Kailynn was becoming more terrified the
more she thought about the situation. She tried to relax, closing her eyes and
chanting to herself that she needed to calm down and breathe. She took several
deep breaths, her heart continuing to race.

The door to the shower opened and Kailynn
turned quickly, terrified. Isa stepped into the shower, moving slowly, watching
Kailynn.

She knelt next to Kailynn and reached one
hand out to her. At first, Kailynn flinched, staring at Isa with wide eyes,
fear coursing through her veins. Isa hesitated, but then reached forward
further, wrapping her fingers around Kailynn’s shoulder and bringing her into a
gentle embrace. Kailynn was frozen for several long moments before she relaxed
into the hold and closed her eyes.

Isa kissed the top of her head.

The two remained silent, sitting in the
shower for an indeterminable amount of time.

Once Kailynn had relaxed completely, Isa
turned her head, pressing her lips to Kailynn’s temple.

“I want you to know that you’re safe,”
she whispered. Kailynn opened her eyes and backed away from Isa, staring at her
worriedly. Sincerity was clear in Isa’s bright blue eyes. “What happened last
night will go no further than the two of us,” Isa said. “I will not report you,
nor will I threaten to report you.”

Kailynn could only stare at Isa in shock
and surprise at the way the Elite seemed to read her mind. She stared at the
Golden Elite for what felt like an eternity before she spoke.

“You…you won’t…say anything?”

“No.”

“But…”

“What?”

“It’s just…you know, most of the time, in
situations like this, someone says it was just a mistake and we should forget
about it…” Kailynn said, turning away. Isa was silent for two long moments.

“Do you want to forget?”

Kailynn turned her eyes back on Isa,
surprised by the tone of the Elite’s voice.

“I don’t think it was a mistake,” Isa
continued. “And I don’t want to forget what happened. But, if that’s what you
want, I will.”

“…n-no, it’s not…” Kailynn lifted her
hand to her head and cringed. “It’s just…it’s a lot to think about, I guess…”

“I’m sure you’re terrified about this
being reported,” Isa said. “But I give you my word that I would never do that.”

“I believe you.”

“Then maybe you don’t want to forget
about last night.”

Kailynn stared at Isa and then pursed her
lips, shaking her head.

“No, I don’t…”

Isa took a deep breath.

“If you want to leave early, I
understand,” the Elite said slowly. “Things have become more complicated, and I
understand if you feel uncomfortable staying. I will, of course, pay for the
entire month, as agreed. And I will pay—”

“No,” Kailynn interrupted, surprised how
fast the word came out of her mouth. Isa blinked. “I-I mean…” Kailynn turned
away. “I’ll stay the whole month.”

“Don’t feel obligated.”

“I don’t.”

Isa looked over Kailynn’s confused and
worried expression. She hesitated before ignoring her more sensible self once
again. She leaned forward and gently cupped Kailynn’s cheek, turning her face.
She leaned closer, pressing a kiss to Kailynn’s lips. The younger woman
relaxed, even though there was a part of her brain that reminded her that her
situation was becoming more dangerous by the moment.

Isa pulled away from the kiss, but
Kailynn grabbed her wrist, leaning forward to follow the Elite, intensifying
the kiss.

Isa allowed Kailynn to control what she
was willing to do.

The Elite found herself pressed against
the wall of the shower, Kailynn kissing her enthusiastically. She tried to
decipher the feelings of the kiss, worried that Kailynn was even more terrified
of being reported and was just trying to appease the Golden Elite. However, it
had been so long since Isa had felt such warmth from another person that she
also found herself unable to think.

Kailynn finally parted their lips, her
breath fanning over Isa’s mouth.

“I’m sorry…” she whispered. “I’m just
really confused.”

“We don’t have to discuss it now,” Isa
assured, taking Kailynn’s face again and locking their lips together.

Kailynn was feeling a little easier at
Isa’s promises as she walked out of the master bedroom. However, her fear
spiked to an unhealthy level when she saw both Rayal and Tarah standing by the
bar, their heated conversation immediately halted.

When Rayal’s eyes passed between Isa and
Kailynn, sharp with understanding, Kailynn was sure her legs would give out
from under her. She tried to appear strong, but she was sure fear was evident
on her face.

“That didn’t take long…” Isa muttered
under her breath.

“Isa,” Rayal greeted, his tone even.

“Will you be joining us for breakfast?”
Isa asked walking to the bar to get a glass of water. Kailynn found herself
almost
angry
at the Elite for being
so calm when they had been caught.

“Perhaps,” Rayal said.

“Is there a problem? Any more news on
Caroie?”

“Yes,” Rayal said, turning to face the
Elite fully. “That was the original reason I came over.”

“And the reason now?” Isa asked, peering
at Rayal as she put ice in her glass.

“Perhaps it is a conversation we should
have in private.”

Isa glanced at the other two in the room
and then turned back to Rayal.

“Is there anyone here
not
involved?”

“No,” Rayal admitted. “However, there are
some not here who
are
involved.”

Isa and Rayal shared a silent
conversation before Isa sighed and nodded, picking up her glass.

“We’ll go to the balcony.”

Isa passed Kailynn, who was sure her
heart was about to leap out her throat. The Elite stopped and turned back to
the Significant, wrapping her hand around Kailynn’s head. She kissed the
younger woman’s forehead and nodded to her once with a reassuring smile.

When the Elite and her former caretaker
were on the balcony, Kailynn turned to Tarah. She wanted to be angry at the
caretaker for obviously telling Rayal about what had happened the previous
night. However, she was too terrified, and too curious about how Tarah knew.

Tarah shook her head, her face pale and
filled with fear.

“I’m sorry, Kailynn.”

“Why did you tell him? How did you even
know?”

“I’m sorry, I had to tell him. I didn’t
know what to do,” Tarah said, her voice breaking.

Kailynn walked to the young caretaker and
sighed heavily.

“How did you find out?” Kailynn murmured.
“You went to bed.”

“I came back out to ask Isa something and
saw you two…” Tarah whispered. “I meant to keep it a secret, I really did. But
when Rayal showed up…it just all spilled out. I was terrified. This is all very
illegal as it is, and then you two…”

“I know it’s illegal,” Kailynn said darkly.
“I’m freaking out, too. But you just made it worse for me and Isa because you
told
Rayal.”

“Rayal had to know.”

“I know you like that guy, but that
doesn’t mean you have to tell him all the secrets that will get me and Isa into
trouble. You know I could be killed for this, right?”

“I know, I know, I’m sorry…” Tarah’s eyes
were brimming with tears. “But so could Isa. I mean, Venus already forgave her
relationship once, but a second time—”

Once
?”
Kailynn snapped, her eyes going wide. “What the hell are you talking about?
Isa’s been with someone before?”

On the balcony, Rayal sighed as he walked
to the railing with Isa.

“I leave you alone for one day and you
get into trouble,” he tried to tease. A small smile took Isa’s lips, but she
was also nervous about the conversation with Rayal.

“What can I say?” Isa tried to play
along.

Rayal leaned on the railing next to Isa,
looking out over the city.

“I should have said something to you
yesterday.”

“Why?”

“Because I saw this coming,” Rayal murmured,
shaking his head, his eyes dropping to his feet. “I saw the way she was looking
at you.”

“Kailynn isn’t responsible for last
night.”

“No, you both are,” Rayal agreed with a
nod. “But I still should have said something.”

“I don’t think I would have listened…”

Rayal studied Isa’s expression, trying to
discern what the Golden Elite was thinking. After several long moments, Rayal
closed his eyes, his expression pained.

“Then you’re doing even worse than
everyone believes,” he murmured.

Isa closed her eyes as well, shaking her
head.

“I wish everyone would stop obsessing
over my health,” she said coldly. “I am capable of taking care of myself. I
know the last few years have not been easy on anyone, but I assure you, I am
doing far better than before.”

“Yet you were upset enough yesterday to
risk your life again,
and
Kailynn’s
life,” Rayal said. “I know that this is because of Gihron’s involvement in—”

“Rayal,” Isa interrupted, turning to her
former caretaker, “we both know the reason for my actions. Yes, I was upset
yesterday. Being with Kailynn felt natural and it helped me. I know the risks,
I’ve dealt with them before.”
