Lily
looked at Molly with a puzzled expression on her face. "Most amazing swim
of your life, eh? That sounds cool, Mol…Sorta
da kine…
but  I'd like to
have a swim like that."

Molly
giggled and placed both her hands on Lily's shoulders and looked her directly
in the eyes.

"It
is definitely
da kine
, but there is one thing I am certain about Lily,
and that is that
you certainly would
want a swim like the one I
had!"

Lily
looked confused, but she ended up laughing hysterically with her friend. Then,
they both gathered their things and walked down to the Kam to catch
The Bus
down to
Kualoa Beach
. Lily wasn't sure why Molly wanted to go to Kualoa
rather than stay right there on Sunset Beach. But Molly had explained that the
swim last night on Sunset was so good that she wanted to savor it for a while
and not immediately go back. The truth was that she did not want to ruin the
experience by running into the young man she had made love to the night before.
In the end, Molly knew that the power she’d felt was in the mystery. Better to
let him and Lily wonder a bit.

Molly’s
summer had certainly begun in an interesting way. She wasn't sure how what she
did the night before would affect her life or the way she lived but she was
certain there would be an effect. She no longer felt as if she were missing
something or as if she was waiting for her life to start. She felt more alive
and more real than she had ever felt before. Now she was ready for the future.
Now she was ready to be the woman she was meant to be.
She
also knew one other thing for certain – she had been seduced by her power as a
woman.
