She grinned. Something about him made her feel safe. He was holding her firmly yet respectfully. He was also more fully clothed than most of the men she could see. He was wearing a golf shirt and shorts similar to what JJ had worn on the boat. The colors were the same, a light-green-and-navy-blue combination that she assumed must be a staff uniform.
They’d passed what looked like private cabins on their walk. Now she looked around as he left the dock and walked past the beach toward what seemed to be the main building. There were several dozen people enjoying the beach, and it was easy to tell which were the subs or slaves and which were the Masters. For one, the Masters wore clothes. The subs were generally naked, not even wearing collars, which might get ruined by the salt water. She saw several Masters lovingly rubbing sunscreen into the skin of their subs and another lying back while his sub knelt between his legs, her mouth working his cock. Looking around, she realized that no one seemed to find this unusual, especially the naked couple, no, make that triple doing some sort of daisy chain maneuver under a large beach umbrella. She could see a woman on her back on the bottom with a man in the middle and another on top of him taking his ass. She’d seen this before at a club and had always found it surprisingly arousing.
All too soon they left the beach and were entering what appeared to be the main building. It was done up so beautifully tropical but with a simplicity that spoke of an excess of money and taste. The colors were mainly white and teal with an off-white tile on the floor and masses of colorful flowers everywhere.
Caleb strode past the desk and down a hallway to a door marked “Clinic.” Pausing to fish the keys from his pocket without putting her down, Jen found herself holding on tightly as he opened the door and walked through.
He kept going past what looked like a reception area and took her into one of several exam rooms, placing her gently onto a padded table before stepping back and closing the door. On the back of the door was a white coat, which he donned.
He looked at her and grinned. “I like to make it official. Now get comfortable. I’ll be right back.”
Jen wasn’t sure what
comfortable
meant. It was just her ankle, so she didn’t think she needed to strip, but she had a powerful urge to do so. She’d always had a bit of a medical fetish, and the thought of being strapped down to the table, naked, of course, with her legs spread wide in stirrups made her squeeze her legs together to get a bit of relief from her suddenly throbbing clit, causing her knee to hit her purse and knock it off the table.
Hopping down carefully onto her good foot, she leaned on the doctor’s desk while she balanced on one foot and retrieved her bag. In the process, she knocked into the desk, causing a picture frame to fall over. Hopping over, she picked it up and set it back up. That’s when she noticed a second, smaller frame, tucked away almost out of sight beside the computer monitor. In both photos Caleb smiled broadly. He looked happier and more carefree than he did today. He was missing that tinge of sadness that he had now.
Well, it was none of her business, so she turned and hopped back to the exam table. She had to get herself under control before he came back. She wasn’t sure about the staff-customer fraternization rule, but even if he wasn’t staff, he was still her doctor. She also was pretty sure he was gay, judging by the photograph that was tucked out of sight and she probably wasn’t supposed to see, and that would seem to override the other two considerations.
Carefully she crossed her legs, bearing down on her clit, trying to get some respite when the door opened and she found herself feeling a sudden surge of lust that she tried desperately to keep from her face because she was a fool. The first man in how many years to get her motor running and he was probably gay, she groused to herself.
Maybe that was it. He was unattainable and therefore safe. She considered the two photos she had just seen. The woman and Caleb looked happy together but in a friendly sort of way. The other photo was different. It was Caleb and another man. They were sitting on some steps with the handsome Hispanic-looking man on the top step and Caleb a step or two lower, positioned between the other man’s legs. The other man had his arms around Caleb, and they were clearly very happy together and not in a fraternal way. Yup. Gay.
Caleb entered the exam room carrying a clipboard and a pen. Grabbing a rolling stool, he sat down in front of her.
“If you can just review this form, I’ll have a look at your ankle.”
“Your boyfriend is very handsome.” Jen wasn’t sure why she blurted that out. She usually had more tact. That was a Maggie type remark, one she immediately regretted as a look of sadness rippled across Caleb’s face. “I’m sorry. It’s none of my business. I wasn’t snooping, really. I knocked your other photo down by accident and I saw the photo with your boyfriend when I was righting the first one and now I’m babbling. And, well, I’m just sorry. I lost my, er, boyfriend to a drunk driver five years ago and I don’t like to talk about him much either and I’ll just shut up now.”
Caleb sighed and smiled briefly. “No apology necessary. I am very sorry about your loss. That’s Rey. I don’t know what I’d do if he were dead, even though, well, we’re not together anymore. I should really put that away but…” He sighed. “I guess I’m just not ready to admit that things are over. He’s not dead, but our relationship is. I’ll be back in a second.” Jen saw the bleak look on his face and watched him hurry out and wanted to chase after him and offer him comfort.
Sighing, she turned to the clipboard he had thrust into her hands. It was a standard document she’d filled in a dozen times. Name, age, illnesses, etc. The difference was that it was all prefilled in, presumably from the forms she’d filled out before coming to the island. Even though she was coming as a wedding guest and not to participate in any of the sexual activities, it seemed that they weren’t taking any chances. They’d even required a medical clearance from her doctor. It reassured her that they took their clients’ health seriously and scared her, too, because it meant she was cleared to play if she wanted to.
Actually, maybe it would have been easier if she weren’t cleared to play. Then she wouldn’t be tempted to comfort the good doctor with sex. Maybe he’d be curious to find out what it was like to get some pussy. Although, if he was pussy averse, there was also her ass and her mouth she could please him with as long as he pleased her by strapping her to a bondage table or St. Andrew’s Cross and flogged her first.
She was pulled out of her daydream when he returned, sitting down beside the exam table. His formerly open face was shuttered and she got the hint. They were going to pretend that last conversation hadn’t happened. Fine with her. He carefully manipulated her foot and ankle before, announcing, “Definitely nothing broken. Maybe a slight strain to the tendon, but it’s hardly swollen. Now let’s get you upright and see if you can put any weight on it.”
Slowly, reluctantly, she slid off the exam table as he took her arm to steady her. She balanced on her right foot and slowly lowered her left to the ground. Shifting her weight, she felt a light twinge, but nothing a masochist like her couldn’t handle. She looked up and smiled.
“You’ve got magic hands, doc. I don’t feel a thing.”
“Put a little ice on it, take an ibuprofen if you have any pain, and don’t overdo it. Oh, and call me if it begins to bother you.” He grinned up at her, his expression thawing. “You done with that chart? I’ll just make some notes, and then I’ll walk you back to reception.”
“Is this really necessary?”
“Yup. This may just be a small clinic, but I insist on doing everything by the book. I’m a doctor, and I have a responsibility to my patients. And I must say, a simple non-sex-related injury made for a nice change of pace. Usually I clean and dress cuts and rope burn or deal with people who have been a little too enthusiastic and thrown out their backs. We’ve decided to bring a physiotherapist on board to deal with all the people who get here and get a little too enthusiastic.”
“Really.”
“Yup. A few weeks ago we had a couple in their sixties decide to give a sex swing a try. It took three dungeon monitors to get them free. They were right back at it the next night, and this time they managed to break his cock. Had to ship them back to the States for treatment.”
“They broke his cock? How is that even possible?”
“It is, and it is painful, but it’ll heal. Eventually. But every man in the place walked around on eggshells for the next few days. It wasn’t until the weekend when a bunch of folks went home and some new people came in that the debauchery level got back to normal.”
They both laughed companionably as they heard the main door of the clinic open with such force that it slammed against the wall and a woman’s voice calling out.
“Jen, Jen, where are you? Are you okay?”
“Guess I’ve been found. I’d better go. Thanks again, doc.”
“Here, let me help you.” He took her arm and held her steady as exam room door flew open.
“Jen, there you are. I was so worried? Are you okay, sweetie? You weren’t in our room when I got there, and then I came back to the lobby and they said you hadn’t checked in, but then they mentioned that the doctor had walked through the lobby a little while ago carrying a blonde, and I didn’t know what to do. It didn’t seem right to barge into a medical clinic where there might be sick people, but then
I
was worried sick, and I thought, fuck it, I’m going to find my friend.”
She finally paused for breath and took in Jen standing without aid, and then she looked Caleb up and down. Smiling, she extended a hand.
“Maggie Barton, photographer and sister of the groom. And you are…?”
“Caleb McKenna. Dr. Caleb McKenna.”
“Ooh. I like medical men. So, doc. How’s Jen, really?”
“Slight sprain. Ibuprofen if she needs it for pain. Don’t overdo it today. Keep it iced and raised whenever possible. She should be fine tomorrow.”
“I’ll look after her, doc. Don’t you worry.” She took Jen’s arm. “By the way, will we be seeing you at dinner tonight?”
“Of course.”
“Great! And if you are really good, we’ll invite you to tomorrow night’s festivities. The bride and groom are having a joint bachelorette and bachelor parties, and I’m sure things will definitely get out of hand.” Jen watched Maggie flirt with Caleb, and she didn’t like it. She didn’t like it at all.
“Save it, Maggie,” she said, much sharper than she intended. “You are wasting your time. The good doctor already has a boyfriend.” Jen felt her stomach drop. “I’m sorry. I…”
“No problem, Jen. I, er, maybe it’s time I was more open with people.”
Maggie looked Caleb up and down.
“What a waste. Have you ever been with a woman?”
“Not since first year of college.”
“Well, if you ever want to try out some pussy, give me a call.”
“
Maggie!
” Jen was shocked. And then she realized that she was shocked she was shocked. And she had to admit that maybe she was a bit jealous, too.
If anyone was going to introduce the doctor to pussy, it was her.
And then she stifled a giggle, looking around hoping that she hadn’t actually said the words out loud.
Maggie’s boldness seemed not to bother Caleb. He just laughed as Jen hustled her out the door.
“Well, he was cute. He’s a ginger, but I’d still like a chance to try to convert him.” Maggie grinned wickedly. “I’d like to…”
“Cut it out, Mags. Where’s our room? I think I’d like to lay down for a bit. Tonight’s bachelorette party will probably go all night.”
Immediately, Maggie turned serious as Jen known she would.
“Is your ankle hurting? Should I get you a wheelchair? Crutches? The hunky doctor?” Jen saw the speculation in her friend’s eyes and blushed. That was the problem with being so fair. So many of her feelings showed on her skin. On the other hand, it was a very pleasing thing for a Dom as they could easily see their marks on her ass and breasts.
“Am I that obvious?” She sighed. The problem with knowing someone most of her life is that they could read her like a book.
“Yup. But only to me. And Aly. Oh, and Rebecca, too. Don’t worry. I’ll back off the good doctor, not that I had a chance with him anyway. When he looked at me, he was polite. When he looked at you, on the other hand, I could see a gleam in his eye and a bulge in his pants.”
“He’s
gay
, Maggie. Gay. That means he’s looking for equipment I don’t possess.”
“You heard him, Jen. He’s been with women before, although not for a while. You wouldn’t be popping his hetero cherry, just giving him a little variety. Or maybe we can check out his boyfriend. If the boyfriend’s cute, you could end up the center of a Jen sandwich.”
“You are incorrigible, Jen. And the boyfriend’s not here. He said they broke up a few months ago.”
“There you go. He needs consolation. You desperately need to get laid. Two problems solved at once.”
“You really think I’m so desperate to get laid that you are trying to set me up with a gay man? Am I that pathetic? Really, Maggie!”
“No I don’t think you are pathetic. But Hank’s been gone for five years, and you aren’t dead. You need a man. Of course I’d prefer to hook you up with some hot hetero Dom, but I have to work with what I’ve got. The doctor is the first man you’ve shown any interest in since I can remember. So I say, go for it.”
