Two weeks later got into a huge argument and Mandy moved out of the Wiley home.
Brenda definitely noticed her boys sad face again and mumbled, “Not on the holidays, oh lord”.
One Sunday evening, Paul Gene took Brenda out to bingo and most all the boys were out doing
their own thing.
Ella was in her bedroom putting laundry away, as Saul had left in a hurry right after dinner.
Suddenly, the door burst open then shut hard, giving a peek out the closet, she saw Saul sitting
on the bed with his head down.
However, before she even tried to ask him what is wrong?
Everything went drastically wrong and he was all over her within seconds being rough also.
He pulled her down onto the bed forcefully by her hair, as she tried very hard to get away.
Ella trapped, as Saul had her down, with a firm hold of her arms and she squirmed, crying out,
“Oh god get off Saul, have you lost your mind!”
“God stop!”
“Remember what your mom said”.
The more she struggled the worse it became, as Saul reached his one hand under her robe and in
between her kicking legs.
She screamed loudly now, as he quickly put his hand over her mouth, as she had tears roll and
real roughly he started pulling her panties down, saying, “Aw I want to feel you, I miss it”.
“Why Ella saving it for someone else?” Eyes big she replied, “What, no”, as he was all over her
now she struggled trying to get him off or away and she bit his hand very hard.
Saul jumped and shouted, “Owe Ella!”
He became irate and actually went to hit her now.
Scared, she jumped off the bed quickly and hurried to the closed door.
Trembling, turned the knob fast, as he was right upon her and gasping opening the door and he
went grabbing at her long hair again.
Only Saul was too late, as she made it out into the hallway where Shane stood before her and
asked, “Everything all right, swear I heard you scream Ella?”
High-strung, with an actual rattle in her voice said, “I slammed the closet door on my hand”,
and Shane seem to give a look of doubt.
Aggressively angry walking out of the room furious, Shane asked, “Hey you okay brother?”
Never replied walking away and out the front door slamming it.
Giving a nod and Shane asked, “Sure you’re okay there darling?”
“Much better, thanks Shane”. That said, “Hey I was just about to make a banana split sound
good?”
Ella giggled saying, “Are you having pregnancy cravings too”.
He winked and she smiled, heading to the kitchen she asked, “How’s Tara feeling?”
“Awful, she’s sleeping.”
Therefore, Ella followed Shane into the kitchen where Shane made them both two of the biggest
banana splits and she kept giggling.
For the rest of the evening, Ella stayed right by his side and even went with him checking on
Tara who was sound asleep with a bucket next to her bed, as Ella made a pitying face knowing
it’s rough.
Shane just let his little lady rest and went watching television, as Ella sat right in that living
room close to him until Seth come home from teaching karate class.
However, Ella did not breathe wind of the situation to Seth about Saul trying to force himself
onto her.
Since Ella already knew, Seth is so close to taking Saul’s head off.
Sebastian comes in the back door, as Shane was now making a milk shake and Sebastian could
not help to notice all the ice cream bowls in the sink.
Pointing towards the messy counter, Sebastian smirked asking, “Ah, hungry there Shane?”
With a mouth full of whip cream nodded and Sebastian rolled his eyes as Shane took a deep gulp
and said, “Aw guess Ella was hungry too, because she joined me after her acting in a horror
movie abilities”.
Puzzled expression Sebastian asked, “Huh?” Shane loading ice cream in the blender said, “Aw
she joined me after her big casting break”.
Standing by the counter shaking in anger that rose Sebastian mumbles, I’m gonna hurt him”,
and Shane added, “Woe Saul sure looked scary mad hurrying out, must have sure scared Ella for
her to scream the way she did?”
Sebastian growled and Shane said, “Woo-wee do not go near Ella doing that, she’ll really scream
might even lose her voice or make Tara go into labor”.
Rolling his neck all out and even cracking his knuckles Sebastian mumbled, “Saul’s finally about
to lose his woman hitting hands tonight".
Pouring the delicious looking shake into a tall glass, “Hey want one bro?” Shane asked, as
Sebastian standing by the sink looking red with anger said, “Nah I’ll pass just enjoy brother”.
Went to head out the back door, and turned back saying, “Hey thanks brother”, and Shane said,
“Why I didn’t share my shake with you”.
Giving a small smile Sebastian remarked, “No, just for being you Shane a damn good brother”,
and walked out the back door.
Sat on the cold back porch with such fury inside, and the temperature in the lower twenties
never bothered him, as he was boiling praying Saul comes home hopefully before their maw and
paw.
An hour went by, and Sebastian thought he might be gone all night again.
Therefore, right when Sebastian got up from the porch swing to go inside, Saul pulled into the
driveway.
Jumping off the porch over six icy steps, Sebastian runs down to Saul, and before he even
opened the driver side door, his brother did quickly and yanked him out.
Upset, Saul hollered, “Hey bro I’m getting sick of your bull”, and Sebastian popped him dead in
the mouth and it enraged Saul swinging back, as they really went at it roughly.
Rolling all down the long driveway dusted coated with snow punching the heck out of each
other.
“Aw heck”.
Wearing her blue ski jacket Ella also comes out raising her hands to her mouth as Seth and
Shane were going to freeze, they stood watching the fight wearing only their flannel shirts and
jeans.
Now taking over Sebastian was very angry at Saul who had it coming for a long time and had
enough over the situation, how his brother treats Ella.
Sebastian had hold of Saul’s hands literally bending his fingers back rough, as Saul was
shouting,
“STOP MAN!”
Sebastian would not though and yelled, “Not until I break um”, bending further back.
On the porch all eyes were huge and Shane was sniffing saying, “Sure smells good in the
kitchen”, Seth frowned.
Noticing, Shane said, “Aw I’ll share my brownies little buddy”, and Seth said, “No it’s not that,
it’s just that I have longed to beat Saul to a pulp”.
Ella shook her head and Shane said, “We all have little buddy”.
Seth yelled loudly, “Sebastian’s a greedy gut!”
Then eyes become even bigger when Paul Gene and Brenda pulled into the garage and had to
see the fight. Saul lying on the snow covered ground with Sebastian just swinging away
viciously.
Swinging his hand up, Shane said, “Aw later, have to check my brownies”, rushing in and Ella
glanced back into the house, as Shane had made a mess.
Ella had to go inside now when she saw Saul such a bloody mess and it made her sick.
Sat down by the table and Shane was checking his baked goodies, as both heard Paul Gene
scream for him and Seth,
“HELP Y’ALL”,
“NOW!”
Brenda whistled loudly and Seth runs fast off the porch hurrying into the yard and saw Saul
beaten to a pulp.
Inside the house Shane complained, “Heck my brownies are gonna burn?” Standing by the stove
holding a towel.
Waving her hand, “Go Shane, I’ll keep an eye on um”, said Ella getting up from the chair.
“Thanks”, tossing the towel on the counter.
Once again, from outside, Paul Gene shouted, “SHANE BOY!”
Running out fast jumping off the porch over each step while Ella kept an eye on Shane’s bakery
and pulled the brownies out when they were done.
She heard much shouting and hysteria outside, but stayed put especially, as she heard Paul Gene
scream, “ENOUGH SEBASTIAN!” Tackled Saul back down.
Even heard Brenda yelling, “Why your brothers?”
Paul Gene kept shouting,
“HECK SHANE HOLD HIM!”
After things calmed down and Brenda entered the house she yelled one final time,
“SHANE WILLIAM WILEY, YOUR ICE CREAM DAYS ARE DONE!”
Paul Gene remained out in the yard talking to his four boys, scolding them, as Saul’s eyes were
swollen shut, and he had a huge busted lip.

Holding a dishtowel, “What would provoke Sebastian to fight Saul breaking bones they rarely
fought this bad growing up”, said Brenda upset wiping down the counter, Paul Gene told her, “I
have to take Saul to the hospital his fingers might be broke”.
Sitting in the living room Ella felt to blame coming between brothers their tight bond and
destroying it.
Ella got up from the sofa heading down the hallway and noticed Sebastian’s bedroom door
cracked open.
Heard him sniffling and walked into his room asking, “Are you okay?”
Highly upset, he turned over wiping tears and said, “Maybe I need to ask you if you’re really
okay, huh?”
Putting her hands over her face crying very hard and instantly jumping off the bed rushing
over by Ella in tears.
Sebastian wrapped his arms around her tightly and said, “Aw don’t cry pretty baby”, sniffling
she asked, “Pretty baby?”
“Yeah you sure are”, brushing her long hair with one hand, as the other was tight around her
waist. Slant his head brushing his cheek against her and whispers, “Deep inside my heart, you
are my girl always will be”.
“You married Mandy?”
“Yes, I did, but wanted to marry the girl of my dreams”.
“Me Sebastian”.
Straight-faced replied, “Yes, you are the only woman that holds the key to my heart”.
“Oh Sebastian”, that added, “We can never be and this I know and must live with”.
Hearts beating fast and holding onto each other tightly for an enchanting moment Ella was
securely in the arms of her true love once again, but both knew they could never be more then
they wished.
A few days before Christmas.
Seth took Samantha to the department store to see Santa Clause, the line was long and she stood
giggling with her hand to her face Seth stood eating a Carmel apple.
Then it was their turn and Samantha excitedly rushed up onto Santa’s lap, she looked sweet
wearing a blue velvet dress with white leotards and black patent leather shoes.
Santa asked her what she wanted for Christmas and looking at her daddy waving her hands
saying, “Come on me daddy”.
Looked at her and around in the crowded line shaking his head of long curls meaning no.
Samantha was persistent and started throwing a tantrum, which that made him more
embarrassed.
Therefore, Seth went and got on Santa’s lap hanging his head actually praying his curls hide
him.
Samantha smiled big just like a spoiled child that she was and got her way looking at her daddy
sitting next to her on Santa’s lap.
Santa asked, “Well there little girl what do you want for Christmas?” She reached her little
hands and took Seth’s.
Looking at his daughter and she said, “Me wants you to bring what my daddy’s been wishing for
because he gets a sad face much times”.
Santa give a grin and Seth with a bright smile said, “Aw gee Sammy girl hearing that is the
biggest gift a daddy could receive”.
She gave a big smile and leaned over to him wrapping her little arms around him holding her
tight and said, “Hey Santa Clause, there’s nothing else I could ever ask for, because I have the
most amazing gift of all my daughter”.
Squeezed onto her daddy, as he whispered to her, “Little girl you’re my world”.
Santa now become teary eyed and a few mothers in line sniffled at a touching holiday moment.
Seth gives Samantha a kiss, as she giggled and Santa’s two helpers snapped the magical moment
with a picture.

Seth had remained truly devoted to his little girl, never hung with friends, and tended to her all
the time.
Even as a baby, if she was sick or teething that young boy walked the floor all night with her.
Then went to school and yawned many days, Samantha was his world and through it all, hard as
it was, kept up good grades in school.
His parents were truly proud of his accomplishments and was a great daddy.
Meanwhile.
Seth with his daughter got off Santa’s lap in smiles, a few mothers even clapped, and Seth really
hung his head, as Samantha bowed he took her hand pulling her fast but easy.
Seth would never forget his visit that year with Santa Clause and his mother either that put the
picture of them with Santa on the dining room hutch.
Another few days pass, it was Christmas Eve.
The Wiley’s were all sitting in the living room and the kids sat around the huge live tree, as
Brenda was in the kitchen getting their big feast ready.

Ella had got up to go see if Brenda needed help with dinner and Tara was already giving a hand.
Walking out of the kitchen Ella headed towards the living room and Seth comes walking back
into the room holding his harmonica.
Bumping into each other and stare, little Samantha giggled saying, “My daddy, aunt Ella’s under
the kissing tree”.
Everyone looked and Shane said, “Woo-wee under the missile toe”.
Sebastian hung his head sitting on the living room floor building blocks with Ashley giggling and
her new doll from him sat right next to her.
However, he bought her a few things, a collection of children’s story books and two new dolls
with three pajama outfits.
Tara smiled rubbing her huge belly Saul was messing with his fiddle and remarked, “Go on Ella
kiss my brother its fine”, then glanced at Sebastian.
Ella and Seth looked at the family then each other nervously and Samantha with her hands by
her face giggled.
Brenda comes into the dining room carrying the big ham and said, “Hey you two have to kiss”.
The whole family paused what they were doing when Seth and Ella bent their heads connecting
with a kiss, hearts race.
Kissing fast with the family looking Seth rushed out of the room hurrying down the long hallway
to his room in tears rolling and Ella went sitting back down when Sebastian looked at her
wishing it was him.
Sebastian gives a frown now and got up leaving the living room walking down the hallway
hanging his head.
