Sitting on the seat right behind, a man said, “Hey buddy you mind sitting down or move jerk”.
The angry person’s friend next to him said, “Nah he looks like a sissy”.
Sitting next to the man, his three friends laugh and Sebastian snarled, rose his voice saying,
“Man, do y’all see I have a problem here”.

The person replied, “If you don’t sit down, you’ll have a bigger one girly, my fist”.
Cracking his neck, Sebastian tensed his fist actually locking it, as Mandy
noticed.
At once Mandy reached up pulling at his black t-shirt shirt saying, “No let it go, gee our baby’s in
trouble, no time fighting trouble”.

Therefore, Sebastian lifted Mandy up in his arms tightly, as she cries out, “Owe, it’s getting
worse”.
Immediately, Sebastian headed out of the row and as he walks by the smart aleck bunch of
males, he sure got one.
Swept his leg off to his side and kicked hard, directly into the one man’s face with his black steel
toe boots instantly nose bled, breaking no doubt.

Tightly in Sebastian’s arms Mandy said, “You can never let it go huh”.
“Aw let’s just get you take in care of babe”, as she lay her head onto his broad shoulder.
Sebastian put her into the red truck gently and hurried in the driver’s seat, and took off fast.
Made it to the hospital quick, as Mandy was rushed back into a treatment room.
She was crying heavily, as he stood teary eyed, hanging his head of locks and went over to the
pay phone calling shocking his family with the sudden news of another Wiley baby, but this one
in trouble.
His mother and three brothers got there prompt at his side, Paul Gene had a business issue
with the bar and Ella stayed home watching Samantha.

Brenda had been right about the stork, but not circling, instead entered their home.
They all were sitting in the waiting room and twenty minutes passes with no word yet on Mandy.
Worried, Brenda was fidgeting with her locket and Saul sat silently hanging his head.

Worried, Sebastian sat there looking down the hall at his two silly brothers banging on the pop
machine.

Kicking the machine, Shane yelled, “Man you know how important a darn quarter is in this
baby jinxed family”.
Sitting across from Sebastian just shaking his head Saul looked at the idiots that were trying to
tip the machine.

Brenda waved her hand mumbling, “Lord that Shane of mine is sure slow witted”, and a doctor
finally comes out of Mandy’s room.
Sebastian stood up fast with his mother and Saul, greeted the doctor who said, “The fetus was
growing in the tube.”

Nervously, Brenda put her hand by her mouth, as Sebastian grabbed her free hand squeezing
tight.
The doctor said, “We have to go in and abort the fetus”.
At that moment, Brenda thought her boy would break her hand and the doctor added, “It is
called an ectopic pregnancy”.
“The surgery should not take more than an hour”.

Listened closely to the doctor until they all jumped from a huge bang, eyes are huge.

Pointing, Saul said, “Heck, them fools knocked the pop machine down”.
Disgusted, Brenda shook her head looking at Shane kneeling on the floor hollering, “My quarter,
look Seth I got it”.

Embarrassed, Brenda noticed the doctor looking down at them and blurted out, “I never saw
those two boys before in my life”, as they saw Seth jumping saying, “Hey my fifty cents
woo-hoot”.

Shane kneeled up saying, “How’d you get more, that’s probably mine, give um to me or I’ll
ring your neck”, Seth flashed the quarters out giggling.
The doctor said, “Mandy will be ready in about twenty minutes for the procedure and then in
recovery”.

Shaking the doctor’s hand, Sebastian said, “Thanks take care of that girl, she means a lot to me”.
Looking at her young man in love Brenda had tears, even more, as she heard Shane say, “Man I
feel like I’m in Vegas rolling around all these coins, not even my quarters, I hit the jackpot”.

The doctor left and soon as he did, Sebastian hurried down by the two lunatics.

 

Heatedly pointing at them and said, “Mandy lost my kid, heck look at you stupid fools”.
Seth took a deep gulp, because Sebastian was the very moody one and scary at times.
Due to the fact that back in younger years, Sebastian at thirteen years old, had been jumped
and not by a group of boys either.

Nevertheless, by a pack of hungry wolves and luckily escaped, as no one knows how he did so
fortunate to only suffer a deep flesh wound on his leg against five angry wolves.
It was a very narrow escape and after that unfortunate encounter, Seth swore Sebastian turned
into a werewolf, as many times if highly angered Sebastian would growl and even howl at the
moon. Looking up from sitting on the floor Shane said, “Sorry brother, just wanted my
twenty-five cent life saver”.
Letting out an angry grunt, Sebastian kicked it out of his hand and the quarter flew rolling down
the long hallway, immediately, Shane jumped up running down the hall saying, “Aw hey, wait
stop, no, owe he scraped my fingers that hateful gutted boy”.

Seth hung his head of long curls, as Sebastian shook his snarling, “Get over here”, Seth did
keeping his head down and Sebastian said, “Help me stand this machine back up”.

Standing it back up, Seth that thought he heard him growling when Sebastian said, “You want
to follow a moron after only twenty-five cents go”, Seth took off fast and Sebastian said, “Unreal
both of um”.
Then headed back to the waiting room with two sane people in their family when Rodney comes
walking down the hall, as Sebastian gives a small smile and Saul winked.

Rodney before sitting down went and patted Sebastian on the shoulder, who reached up
grabbing his hand.
Sat down shaking his head badly, Saul asked, “Pal you okay?”
“Aw heck man, your brothers are fighting to kill outside”. Huff with eyes large now.

Brenda put her hands against her face and Saul asked, “Is it bad?”
“Nah, its stupid man over a darn quarter”. Brenda did cover her face just hiding herself.
Snarling Sebastian remarked, “Yeah their pathetic all right”.

One hour later, the doctor comes out to them all, as Shane and Seth were sitting calmly now.
Furthermore, Shane had such a big smile holding his quarter.

Raising her eyebrows in disgust Brenda glanced over at Shane’s huge black eye swelling by the
minute. Rodney gave a grin looking at Seth’s shirt tore up, as Saul and Sebastian did not even
want to look their way.

The doctor told them that the surgery went well Mandy is awake asking for Sebastian.
Pointed, telling them the direction to recovery then left and Sebastian said, “Let's go”.
He and his mother walked away leaving and Shane sat looking one eyed at his quarter and even
polishing it, as Seth smiled brightly.

They all entered Mandy’s room where she lay on the bed, immediately Sebastian went over to
her and they cried hugging.
Brenda had tears rolling, Saul was quiet and the first time he ever saw one of them shed a tear
and of all brothers.

Sebastian, that rarely smiles, as Saul feels Sebastian is meaner than a copper head snake and
usually is. Guess girls are the Wiley boy’s only weakness.
Rodney hung his head feeling awful over his friend’s loss.

Shane whispered to Seth, “Hey little buddy, think our brother may need a physiatrist shoot
tears, the boys freaking”.
Looking onto his sad brother, Seth felt bad and Shane holding his quarter out added, “Aw good
thing I beat that guy down”.

Seth patted Shane that kissed his quarter saying, “All be darn, I get to keep you longer, I’ll
never be stuck in munchkin world”.
Brenda just shook her head, over hearing Shane and wiping tears looking at Sebastian and
Mandy.

A few weeks go by since the loss of Sebastian and Mandy’s child, she was doing better and
Sebastian was at her house every day faithfully. After his roofing job then before he had to leave
for the bar and brought her a yellow rose every day, as it was the color she liked.
Ella as the weeks go by turned four months.

She found out of Saul’s little affair with Ruby and was devastated over it, Ella even threatened to
leave the Wiley home and raise the baby herself.
Saul told Ella how sorry he was and that he broke it off with Ruby.

However, Ella did not believe him and things between them were becoming terrible.
She avoided Saul not saying a word to him in weeks even though they lived in the same home.
They seemed like strangers anymore, as their love was suddenly fading, since Saul and Ella’s
love has been fading for each other.

Another Wiley boy’s love was growing much deeper for Ella who turned to her closest friend
more than ever and Seth was right there in her time of need and a shoulder to cry on often.
Furthermore, would sit up half the night in either her bedroom or his room having such deep
conversations, Seth sure put many smiles back on Ella’s sad face.
Chapter 14.

The days go by and their friendship had grown stronger, Seth’s feelings for her also.
Ella was turning to Seth constantly, as her feelings for him had grown and she needed him more
and more.

Due to the fact that Saul seem to spend most nights out and not returning until the crack of
dawn and Ella’s best friend was there picking up the pieces to her broken heart.
One night in Ella’s bedroom with the door locked, she lay on her bed and Seth lay next to her on
his side, leaning his elbow on the bed reading a book.
Rubbing her stomach smiling and listening to Seth reading a romantic part, as he brushed her
bangs back with his other hand.

Brenda through this family turmoil recently remarked, “Oh lord forgive my hurting heart, but
I’m gonna strangle the stork”.

Brenda was very disgusted in her boy’s behavior and Paul Gene also, although knew Saul
would hurt Ella and certainly did.
She was actually disgusted in both her boy’s actions and Paul Gene too, both are disappointed
over it all, including her other boy Shane that literally put his ex-girlfriend Morgan’s new
boyfriend Jimmy in the hospital.

Shane beat the pulp out of him and injured him by breaking his collarbone along with many
ribs.

Jimmy pressed assault charges on Shane that was arrested and spent three days behind bars, as
he was out now, but has a court day coming up over the charge.
Another few days pass.

One night very late at 1:00 am in the morning, Ella comes up from the basement quietly, wiping
tears, and closed her pink robe rushing to her bedroom sobbing.

About ten minutes later, Sebastian comes walking through with no shirt on wearing his gray
sweat pants, as he was yawning, and went getting a drink of buttermilk.
Turning around fast seen Seth coming from the basement with his flannel shirt open wearing his
real baggy gray sweats and asked, “Little buddy, the crying kid getting to you?”

“Nah thought I heard a rat”, and rushed off fast.

 

Sebastian mumbled, “Gosh sixteen is a tough age”.

 

One weekend the Wiley family got a big happy surprise when Paul Gene’s three brothers flown
in from Texas to meet the new addition to their family.

 

Danny Ray with John and really youngest still, Marty Wiley, all walked in bearing gifts.
Holding even huge stuffed animals, Paul Gene giving a grin said, “Aw spoiling her all ready”.

His three brothers smiled and Danny Ray winked, as they sure were fussing over Samantha
Faye.
Paul Gene’s much younger brother Danny Ray held her and remarked, “Pretty little thing of
course Wiley blood in her veins is sure why”.
Everyone smiled.

Seth became very protective of Samantha, as she sure would be safe in daddy’s arms, because
that boy had won every karate match he was in, even winning the big tournaments.

His room had many big trophies on his desk after he won the competitions.
Seth had become a 5th degree black belt at fourteen years old and gave karate up, he told his
parents it is unfair to the other kids.

Let them have a chance to win, because with me around they do not win, as Seth was that good it
shocked many people that found out he was the best.
A few weeks pass with Seth really being daddy fulltime, and every feeding time for the baby he
hurried to get her and the bottle.

Sitting on the rocking chair holding his daughter tight, as he feeds her.
While he stares down onto her giving a grin, as he rocks her snug in his arms telling her,
“Your safe baby girl, because daddy is here always”.

Brenda will pause what she is doing and look in at her young boy doing a perfect job, as tears fill
her eyes. Seth even does his daughters diaper changing that he still is not too good at.
He will hold his nose taking the dirty diaper off fast.

Brenda just smiles at him saying, “In time boy, you’ll get use to these messy diapers”.
Holding the filled diaper far out, he replied, “Nah, not this ever”.
“Aw yuck”, running fast with the diaper to the trash bin tossing it in.

Seth’s room turned into a full nursery now.
Brenda was smiling down at her granddaughter on the changing table and
said, “Did you scare daddy away”.

Blowing raspberries and Brenda smiled saying, “Oh telling me all about it huh”.
Samantha was really talking up a storm with her bubbles and Brenda bent her head down closer
and blew bubbles back.

The baby was blowing many bubbles and cooing along with her grandmother.
Seth comes back into the room holding a baby bathtub full of water, Brenda laughed and he
remarked, “She needs a bath, big time”.
Brenda giggled blowing raspberries at him and he said, “Ha-ha, funny maw”.

“You gave her one this morning”, as he rolled his hidden eyes saying, “More means better
smell”. Brenda really blew bubbles in a row at him and his eyes really rolled, as Brenda was
giggling, he shook his head of curls smirking.
Setting the tub down Seth lifted his daughter up in his arms, as she blew her raspberries and
while Seth was holding her said, “Bubbles you’re not even in the tub yet”.

Brenda stood smiling watching Seth set Samantha into the water and starts crying, Seth said,
“Aw come on its fun see”, as he splashed water around.
Still crying and Seth said, “Maw can you give me that rubber frog”, as she threw it to him.
