Her release was an explosion.
There was no build up of it, only Shawn telling her to come and she did.
She felt her pussy flood his mouth, felt him lap and lap it up, and felt him swallow her juices.
And when he slipped his finger into her tiny hole at her ass, she came again, screaming out his name over and over as he took her higher and higher.
When she started to come down he slipped out of her and she whimpered at the loss.

His mouth covered hers and she could feel the wetness on him.
Her juices covered his mouth and lips.
Licking at the taste she groaned and pulled his lip into her mouth to taste more.
His cock pressed at her opening and she lifted her legs and wrapped them around him as he rocked deep into her.
She came again as his cock began to piston into her.
She sank her nails into his ribs and pulled him down so that her nipples rubbed his chest.
When he nuzzled her neck there was no thought to stopping him.
She wanted his bite, wanted to feel his teeth slide into her flesh, and when his tongue soothed the area and he plunged them into her, she came again.
Her pussy began pulling him deeper, pulling him closer even as she felt him stiffen.
When the first splash of his cum sprayed inside of her she screamed out his name again, sobbing and holding on to him.
As he dropped onto her she fell into unconsciousness knowing that things would never be the same again.

~CHAPTER 7~

Sleep eluded him.
Shawn watched Cade lay beside him and wondered how he could have been so lucky as to find her the way that he had.
A string of events had brought her into his life and though he couldn’t remember them, at least not in great detail, he knew it was fated that he be in that bar at that time.

He had worn her out and knew that she would sleep for a while longer.
The whisker burns on her neck matched the ones on her thighs.
He couldn’t help but feel proud about them.
If he could have gone out and howled he would have.
His mark at her throat was there too.
And would remain as long as she didn’t drink from him to bond.

He had thought to give her his wrist tonight when they’d made love, but didn’t want her to turn him down.
He knew that she would have, too.
For now
,
as long as she stayed with him, he could live with her not taking the final step. It would make her vulnerable to other males who wanted to feed from her, but his mark should keep most of those away. Shawn was a powerful vampire; his age alone gave him powers that others never obtained.

As much as he wanted to stay with her he needed to talk to Aaron. Another memory of that night came to him when she was touching him.
Her touch.
It had been so soothing and so soft and he had never been so aroused in his life.
Just thinking about her finger on his nipples, her mouth opening over him
made
his cock harden again.

Going into the bathroom he showered.
He knew that Aaron would know that they had had sex and he would also know that they had not yet bonded, but he still showered and shaved.
He would be more careful in the future about that.
He didn’t want to make her too sore when he rubbed against her.
Stopping by the big bed before he left the room he leaned down and kissed her gently.
Her moan and small smile did a lot for his mood as he left the bedroom whistling.
He found his friend in the study with the door closed.

“Is she better?
You took her away so quickly that I wasn’t sure if she had been injured or something else had happened to her.
I take it she is a little more receptive of you.”

Aaron had never been one to beat around the bush.
Shawn laughed.
He was remembering more about their friendship too.
They had indeed been friends for more centuries than most vamps lived.
He wondered why he had been coming here.
He knew there was a reason and hoped that Aaron could tell him.

“She had a fever and the beginnings of pneumonia.
A small sip that she isn’t even aware of and she’s better.
And yes, you nosey old man, she and I are making headway into our relationship.
She won’t bond with me.
Not yet anyway.
I don’t...I think it’s better if she makes the decision on this. I know the risks, but if I force her I feel I’ll regret it.
Understand?”

“Yes.
She’s very independent.
And you’re right, it is risky.
Especially with her as headstrong as she is.
I wouldn’t put it past her to run out into the rain again just to prove you wrong about you healing her.
Don’t get me wrong, I love strong women.
Sara is the strongest willed woman I know.
But I tell you, sometimes I want to beat her ass so badly that I can’t think straight.
And if you tell her that, I’ll deny it.”

There was no denying the love between those two.
The household could feel it as well.
Their children were happy and healthy and not a little like them both.
And Shawn had known Duncan since he’d been with Aaron.
He had been his servant since he’d saved Aaron’s life and Aaron his many more years
ago
than anyone would guess.

“Aaron, can you tell me why was I coming here?
According to my driver’s license I don’t live in Ohio.
I had to have a reason for coming all this way to see you.
I know we’re friends, but something brought me here, didn’t it?”

“You didn’t tell me.
You called three weeks ago and said you needed to talk to me about something.
You told me that you were having issues with the master there and that you needed my advice.
I had hoped that you were coming to ask me to be your second or that you wanted to join me here.
I think you would make an excellent master, by the way.”

Shawn got up to pace.
Something nudged at his mind so he tried to relax and let it come.
He had something else to ask while that thought stewed around a bit. “The woman who I was leaving the bar with, her name was Dana Simpson. I don’t know why that seems important, but it won’t quit tickling my mind.
Does it ring any bells with you?
And my cell phone is missing.
I’m not sure what that has to do with anything, but neither my money nor the credit cards have been touched.”

When Aaron reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone Shawn only half listened as he talked to someone named Pete.
He assumed it was another of his Kiss and a female because they were making fun of her mate Dominic.

“Yes, tell him I said that’s the way it goes.
Now, the reason I called.
I have a name I need you to search for me...yes, it’s for Shawn...Dana Simpson...I doubt they exchanged the spelling of her name, Pete.”
He turned to Shawn.
“She wants to know if you remember a physical description.
Anything you remember so that if she pulled a picture up she’d be able to narrow it down for you.”

“Dark hair, black, straight.
Not too tall, about five-foot-five at best.
Smallish frame, her eyes where green—dark green that had sparks in them.
I have no idea why I know this.
It just came to me when you asked.”
Another thing came to him.
“She wasn’t alone.
A man, dark-skinned, though I wouldn’t say African American.
More like he was browned, he was a shifter.
Tall as me, but not as muscled, bulkier but not fat.
He...I think he hit me with a whip of chain.
Yeah, a chain.
I can’t remember...there was something he wanted.”

“Are you getting this, Pete? Yes, I’ll tell him...no, I don’t think I will, but I’ll give him the option...thank you, love.
Tell Dominic I said to shut up and bear it.
We all have to.”

Shawn sat down.
His head was pounding again and he could feel that there was something huge he was just about to remember. He was rubbing his head when he felt the shimmer of magic come into the room.

“Hello, Aaron.
You must be Shawn.
Hummm, mated to a Lesser faerie, are you?
Good for you.
They are the favorite of my beings.
Well, the Lesser ones are sort of a pain in the ass.
And they are a stubborn lot too.
But they are the only ones who stood by me when Sherman was trying to have me taken out of commission.”

“Shawn, this is Mel.
She’s Sara’s cousin and the Queen of Molavonta, Mistress of Light, Keeper of All Magic, yada yada.
She pops in whenever it suits her and knows no boundaries whatsoever.
Watch her, she’ll come into your chamber without so much as a knock on the door.”

“Aaron, you know that I only did that once.
And the way you and Sara go at it like rabbits it’s
a
small wonder you two don’t have enough vamps to drain the world.
Pay him no mind.
I could feel the magic between you and your mate.
She gives off a certain magic and I’ve been looking for her sire and dame first before I approach her.”

“She’s not a horse, Mel.
Stop quoting that stupid show you continue to watch with Duncan.
Hello, Aaron.
I’m happy to see you’ve found your friend.
My name is James, by the way.
I’m Mel’s grandfather.
Though there are days when she makes me wish I was her father and could take a switch to her arse.”

Shawn couldn’t help it, he burst out laughing.
Looking at Aaron made him laugh harder.
The man looked ready to pop a vessel.
He wondered if this happened a lot and then realized that it did.
Beings coming and going at will must be hard on him.
Then he realized what the queen had said.

“Wait!
You said I was mated to a faerie?
Cade is a faerie?
How did that happen?”
He sat down hard after he had gotten up when the man and woman had entered the room.

“Oh well, faerie sex is really quite complicated.
They have to be in flight, you see.
And their wings must be back.
So the trick is to fly very high in the sky then as they have sex, they begin to fall.
It’s quite beautiful.
Unless of course—”

“I think he meant, ‘how do you know she’s a faerie?’ not how she came to be born one.
Sometimes, James, I’m sure you do that on purpose.
Why on earth would you even know how fairies have sex?
You know, never mind.
I don’t even want to know how you know,” Aaron said shaking his head.

“He follows everything around until they have no choice but to have sex while he’s watching.
He doesn’t give them any peace until he knows. Hello, darling, how are you this fine evening?
I’m Savannah, Mel’s mother.”
