By 1:30, Cameron was thoroughly trashed, just as he'd hoped he would be. The problems of the day were long forgotten as he moved his body on the dance floor. This was exactly what he needed, the consequences of the night be damned.

He looked at the woman in front of him, grinding her body into his. Man, she sure was hot, and she reminded him of someone, but he couldn't quite put his finger on who it was.

All that mattered was that she looked good and was ready and willing. He ran his hands down her leather-clad hips and pulled her body closer to his, until the only thing separating them were a few thin layers of clothing.

They moved together to the beat of the music as it pulsed through their bodies. The heat was becoming unbearable as he moved her hair to the side and ran his lips along her neck. His lips met her ear and whispered into it, sending a shiver down her spine.

"How about you tell me your name so we can get out of here," he whispered.

"Madison. And you?" she asked.

"Cameron," he told her. "Your place or mine?"

"Who lives closer?" she asked and told him her address.

"You do. Your place," he told her and grabbed her hand, and a bottle of champagne, then dragged her out of the club.

Chase looked up from the secluded spot where he was sitting with Paul just in time to see Madison leaving with some man. Satisfied that she was finally going to get laid, he smiled. "Hey Paul, do you know who that guy is that my friend is leaving with?"

"That's Cameron Rome. He's a nice guy, a little full of himself, but wouldn't hurt anyone," Paul replied, knowing that Chase was just trying to make sure that his friend was safe.

"Thanks. Now, where were we?" he asked as they moved back together.

As soon as they were out of the cab, Cameron popped the cork on the champagne and took a long swallow from the bottle. He backed Madison up against the wall of her building and kissed her long and hard before pouring a little champagne in her mouth and kissing her again.

"I think we better get up to your apartment before we get arrested for indecent exposure," he told her, playing with the zipper on her pants.

She grabbed his hand and this time, she dragged him. They went up to her apartment, and as soon as the door closed, their clothes went flying. They were touching everywhere at once, exploring exposed flesh, playing with private parts. Between their hot and steamy kisses, champagne flowed to their mouths, keeping them well intoxicated.

When the bottle was empty, she tossed it to the side, not caring if she shattered it. She guided Cameron to the bedroom, where he pushed her onto the bed. With both of them already naked, he wasted no time in mounting her. She immediately wrapped her legs around his hips and twined her fingers in his hair, pulling him down for another hot kiss.

As he slid his length into her, they both sighed with satisfaction.

He moved inside of her, stroking long and hard, building the tension between them. Just as he was starting to get close enough to have to hold back, Madison wiggled out from under him and pushed him onto his back. She then straddled him and continued their coupling, taking over the rhythm.

Cameron was surprised by this move, but very pleased. He loved it when a woman took over and showed him what she wanted and needed. He loved watching her. She looked hot and wild, just as she had in the club. Her breasts bounced until he reached up and gripped them with his hands. Her whole body flushed with pleasure as she threw her head back and closed her eyes.

As she bounced her body atop his, she felt her orgasm rising. She hadn't had this in a long time, and she needed it - she needed it so badly that her whole body felt like it might shatter into a million pieces when she came. Just as she toppled over the edge, she cried out, long and hard, the kind of cry that all the neighbors surely heard.

Cameron was thrilled to see her come like that - and he was thrilled by how clearly he could feel it. Her body squeezed and pulsed and throbbed around him, and that triggered his own pleasure. He held her hips tight as he followed the way she had come, his teeth clenched and his body arching off the bed.

When she could finally catch her breath, she slid off his body. She was beyond exhausted, as though the orgasm had ripped the energy right out of her. She had the time to yawn once before sleep overtook her.

He lay quietly beside her, already starting to doze. He was aware enough to know that he had just had a great lay, and he was also ridiculously drunk, which meant she probably was, too. That was the last thought in his head before he passed out.

Chapter Three

O
h no, I'm going to be sick!
was the first coherent thought that ran through Madison's head the next morning. She threw back the covers and made a mad dash for the bathroom. She almost ran into the door on her way there; she was wildly dizzy. She grabbed at the doorknob, then at the toilet, trying not to fall forward.

After emptying her stomach and feeling a little more stable, she reached for the robe that was hanging on the back of her bathroom door. She shrugged into it very carefully; sudden moves were definitely not a good idea. Her whole body felt sore and aching, but her head was the worst part: It was pounding as though there were an angry metal band inside it.

She slowly walked back to her bedroom, trying to tie the robe shut. It took all she had in her to make the loose knot, since it required a slice of concentration that her hangover made nearly impossible.

"Oh dear God," she moaned, stopping to lean against the bathroom door for a moment while the second wave of nausea passed.

When she returned to her bedroom, the scene that lay before her shocked her to her core. There was a man lying there. A man who appeared to be handsome, and completely naked, and sleeping the sleep of someone who was just as hungover as she was. The sheet covered his lower body, and his head was partially covered by one of her pillows. The only thing clearly visible was his well-defined, muscular back.

She put her head in her hands. God, what a mess! This is exactly why she had never had a one-night stand before. She had made a point of avoiding awkward situations just like this one. She opened her eyes again and looked at the man, and the brightness of the early morning sun shining through the blinds made her head pound even harder. She closed her eyes again, just for a moment, just to make that pain go away.

"This is ridiculous," she whispered. "This isn't happening. This is so...so..."

She was too hung over to find the proper words.

She slowly crossed the room to the bed and lightly tapped the man on his shoulder. When he didn't move, she shook his shoulder harder. "Um, excuse me?" She could feel her face redden, no clue what the proper etiquette was for the morning after.

The man slowly rolled over, revealing his face. Madison gasped and jumped back, feeling as though she had been burned. She had heard horror stories of people who woke up beside someone who was unbelievably unattractive, even downright ugly. This man was downright gorgeous, so it wasn't his looks that made her cringe. It was the realization of who he was.

"I was
beyond
drunk," she whispered, still staring at him.

Cameron opened his eyes and blinked a few times, trying to adjust to the light and clear his head. Once they were fully open, he looked at the woman standing over him. It took a long moment, but the reality of who was in front of him finally sank in. He shook his head and rubbed his eyes, hoping to see something different when they re-opened.

"No," he murmured. "Not possible!"

"No kidding," she said.

Cameron opened his eyes and jumped out of bed in all his naked glory, not bothering to cover up. "Ah, shit! You're that restaurant chick," he groaned.

Then he leaned down to rest his hand on the bed. His other hand immediately grasped his pounding head.

Madison's face reddened further as she looked appreciatively at his naked body. The man might be a Grade-A asshole, but he damn sure had a body that could make a woman swoon, even when she was incredibly hung over.

Still, she had the presence of mind to keep an upper hand on the situation. "Do you think you could put that thing away?" she asked bitterly, pointing toward his morning wood.

"That wasn't your request last night, sweetheart," he taunted as he walked out of the bedroom to find his clothes. He rushed around the living room and foyer, collecting his clothes and hastily putting them on.

Madison followed him out to her living room and sat down on the couch with a thud. She grasped her head in her hands, trying to make sense of the situation, though no logic could explain what happened the previous night.

"And I didn't even get my damn laundry done," she groaned.

"What?" he asked, as he gingerly pulled his shirt over his head.

"Nothing."

Cameron murmured to himself while he got dressed. Madison couldn't make out much of what he was saying, and she wasn't quite sure she'd want to. It was clearly obvious that their night of hot sex was a mistake, something they both now regretted in the light of day.

"I can't believe I slept with you, of all the people at the club last night," Cameron scoffed, more to himself than at Madison.

She looked up at him through the hands that covered her face. "You think I'm happy about this? I think I'm more devastated than you are. I mean, seriously. My first one night stand and it's with some guy who threatened me earlier in the night."

"Oh, don't worry. I'm sure you'll figure out a way to use this to your advantage. You'll probably run straight to the tabloids, just to get some publicity for your shitty little restaurant," he said with disgust as he finished tying his Docs.

She laughed at that, even though it made her head hurt. He glared up at her.

"Yeah, right," she said. "Like I want people to know that I lowered my standards and thong for you."

This conversation was making her feel worse. She could feel the bile rising in her throat again. Whether it was from physical agony this time or the emotional torture he was putting her through, she didn't know. All she knew was that she hated this man in front of her.

"Whatever, just get the hell out," she barked, her head cradled in her hands once again, lacking the energy to look up and glare at him.

"My pleasure," he told her, then slammed the door.

Madison winced at the sound, and ran back to the bathroom for another round. It was going to be a long day.
