Read Take Me: The Complete Series (Power Play #1-4) Online
Authors: Kelly Harper
“Careful, you’re going to crush me to death…” I give Isaac a teasing smile when I pull away.
“I would never do that.” He gives me an intense look. “I love you so much, Hannah. I could never do anything that might hurt you.”
The smile on my face spreads even wider. There’s a shift in my stomach when I see the longing in his eyes.
“Tell me you love me, too,” he says, desperately. “I don’t think I can go on if I don’t hear those words from your lips.”
“Of course I do. I love you, Isaac. I think I’ve always loved you--it just took me a little while to realize what it was.”
A smile flashes quickly on his face before he pulls me into another passionate kiss. My feet nearly come off the ground as he hugs me tight against his body.
His tongue tastes sweeter than it ever tasted before. I think I can feel the pounding of his heart straight through his leather jacket. My legs wrap around his hips, grinding my crotch onto his. I can feel his erection bulging through his jeans as I press into him.
“I need to have you right here,” he groans.
My legs pull even tighter, grinding against his cock.
“Then take me.”
Isaac swings me around and sets me on the edge of the bike. My hands are a flurry as I rip and claw at the top button of his jeans. His arms circle around mine as they pull at the top hook on my pants. We free them both at the same time and begin pulling them down.
His cock bursts forth when I release it from the constraints of his jeans. Isaac groans in delight as I grab the base and begin sliding my hand up and down his length. But I don’t get to play with it for long before he spins me around and bends me over his bike.
Anticipation tingles through me as he pulls my pants even lower, exposing my bare ass cheeks. It occurs to me that we’re on the top of a parking garage, and that there are buildings all around us. People could be watching us from their offices. They could be watching Isaac getting ready to fuck me from behind right there on the rooftop of the parking garage.
But it doesn’t bother me. Nothing seems to really bother me when Isaac is around. The only thought going through my head is that I need him inside of me. Right here. Right now.
“You’re so wet,” he says.
His fingers slide down between my legs, spreading my sensitive, soaked folds. One of those curious digits dips inside of me, and I let out a little gasp of delight.
“You make me this wet.”
“It’s all for me?”
I nearly let out a whimper when I hear the low growl in his voice.
“Yes.”
I glance over my shoulder in time to see that little smirk tug at one corner of his lips.
“My kitten…”
It’s the last thing he says before the entirety of his cock slides into me. I let out a gasp of surprise as his pleasure fills me. The bike is heavy but still shifts a little as I brace myself against it. Isaac’s hands grip my tiny waist and he begins pumping me. His thrusts start off slow, but get harder and deeper with every passing second. I hold on tight to the bike, clinging to it so that he doesn’t fuck me so hard that I fall over the other side.
My orgasm doesn’t take long to build inside of me. As Isaac pumps me, it expands in a quick rush throughout my body. I suck in a huge breath and my fingers squeeze into the seat as my legs start trembling, violently. It takes nearly all of my effort to remain upright at all.
“Come for me,” Isaac growls through my gasps of pleasure.
“I did,” I whine.
“Come for me, again!”
He slams himself harder and harder into me. The orgasm has left me so sensitive that I feel each thrust ten times over. The sensations are nearly overwhelming. The entire world fades away around me, leaving nothing but those sensations and Isaac’s enormous cock inside of me.
“Come for me, now!” he growls.
He leans forward, wrapping his hand down between my legs until his fingers reach the wetness of my center. He finds my clit immediately and starts rubbing tiny little circles into it. I let out another gasp of pleasure. It’s like he knows my body even better than I do. He knows exactly how to please me, exactly how to make me feel everything he wants me to feel.
The seed of another orgasm takes hold inside of me. It plants itself deep in my core. Tiny at first, but it quickly begins to expand. Isaac’s strong hands are gentle as he touches me in all the ways I need to be touched. The orgasm coming on reaches its peak, and then begins to unravel.
All of the tension in my body releases as the pleasure consumes me. It feels like every single one of my muscles goes limp at the same time, all of the energy within them consumed and sucked away. I slump forward onto the bike, unable to hold myself upright anymore. Isaac moves in step with me, keeping me pinned in place, keeping his enormity inside of me, filling me.
“Yes, like that,” he growls over my whimpers. “And now it’s my turn…”
“Yes,” I whine. “It’s your turn, give it to me.”
He slams me harder. His cock quivers inside of me.
“Give it to me, I want it now.”
It takes every last bit of my effort, but I slowly start pressing my hips up toward him, pressing back into his crotch with every thrust he gives me. He presses into me harder and harder each time, until finally I can feel him ready to burst. The quivering tip of his cock explodes as Isaac lets out a loud groan. His warm seed floods into me, filling me with its delight.
Isaac’s body tenses for a second as his orgasm completes, then he slumps against me. The weight of his body presses me into the bike. I feel strangely safe with all of him surrounding me like that.
“I love you, Hannah,” he whispers into my ear, between heavy breaths.
A thin smile creeps across my face.
“I love you, too.”
Later that evening we’re in Isaac’s hotel suite, curled in each other’s arms. My heart is still racing and my legs are still quivering from the orgasm he just gave me. He hugs me tight against his body as he grins at me.
“You’re everything I could ever want,” he says.
“Stop it, you’re going to make me blush.”
“Then blush until your ears turn red. It’s the truth, and I won’t shy away from telling you.”
A huge smile spreads across my face.
“You always know how to tell me exactly what I need to hear.”
He leans down and presses another kiss onto my lips. The emotions now connected to that kiss send tingles through me. It’s funny how acknowledging something can make it feel so much more real.
He pulls away and runs a finger through my hair. The look on his face is soft and loving in a protective way that I haven’t seen on him before. It’s a new side of him that I didn’t know existed before tonight. I wonder if there are many other things I still have yet to discover about him.
A thought occurs to me, and I feel my face sag into a frown.
“What is it?” Isaac asks, giving me a concerned look.
“It’s nothing,” I say, quickly.
“Talk to me, Hannah.”
He sits up and turns to look at me. The muscles in his chest are taut and he looks like a lion ready to defend his home.
“It’s just… I was thinking about what Declan told me. About how he’s selling the company...”
My whole world feels like it’s upside down. After everything that happened with Isaac tonight, I’d almost forgotten about the original reason I’d wanted to talk to him. But now it’s come crashing back to the forefront of my thoughts, and it’s impossible for me to push it away.
“Never mind, forget I said anything,” I say. “You don’t want to hear about everything going on. It’s my problem to deal with…”
I try to give him a cheery look, but Isaac knows me better than that. He sees right through my facade.
“Hannah, you shouldn’t say things like that. Just because it’s your problem doesn’t mean that I don’t care. If it’s bothering you, then I want you to be able to come to me. Even if there isn’t anything I can do, I can still listen. And sometimes that’s all it takes.”
This time the smile that spreads across my face isn’t fake.
“You say such sweet things to me.”
He hugs me a little tighter.
“That’s because you’re such a sweet girl.” He studies me for a second, that little British smirk tugging at his lips. “So, tell me everything that’s going on. Maybe I can’t do anything to help, but maybe I can.”
I give him another appreciative look, then I launch into everything that happened earlier that day. I tell him all about finding Declan sitting at the restaurant in the Trump Tower, talking to my mother. I tell him all about how Declan said he was selling the company. Isaac’s face tightens when I tell him how Declan said he was involved in the whole thing. Even though the very thought of it seems ludicrous at this point. How could I ever believe Declan over Isaac? If Declan could keep all of those other things from me, then he could lie about Isaac, too.
“I would never do anything to hurt you like that, Hannah.”
I give him a reassuring nod.
“I know you wouldn’t. Well… I know, now. It’s just, I never thought Declan could do something like this to me.”
Isaac leans forward and presses a kiss into me. The suddenness of his tender touch catches me by surprise, whisking thoughts of Declan and everything else far from my mind. I kiss him back, inviting his tongue into my mouth. I suck it lightly when he accepts the invitation, though the kiss doesn’t last long. When he pulls away again, he gives me a long, thoughtful look.
“What are you thinking?” I ask.
His brow scrunches a little more before he gives a quick shake of his head.
“It’s nothing… Just a passing curiosity.”
“About Declan?”
“About the whole situation.”
“What is it?”
Isaac hesitates for a second before he answers the question.
“It’s just that, the friend you saw me with earlier, she’s very connected in the business world, I was just wondering if she might know anything about what’s going on…”
My heart races and my stomach sinks when my thoughts go back to Annabelle. The first thing I think about is the way she touched his arm, and the way she was smiling and giggling when she did. Even if Isaac swears it was innocent, he’s still a guy, and guys are usually clueless about what things are going on right in front of them.
Not that I don’t trust Isaac or anything. It’s just that... It’s just that I don’t exactly know what to think. My emotions have been running on full speed and I’m having a hard time making sense of anything, lately. Maybe
I’m
the one that’s clueless about what’s going on right in front of me.
“Are you okay? Your face just went as pale as a ghost.”
I wave a hand as I turn my chin away.
“It’s nothing,” I say, quickly, not wanting him to ask me what I was thinking about.
Isaac lifts a finger to my chin, tugging it back towards him until our eyes meet. His bright, gray eyes look deep into mine. They search me like they’re looking for the answer to some unspoken question.
“Did it upset you when I mentioned her?” he asks, intuitively.
“No, it’s nothing like that,” I say, even quicker than before. It’s an obvious lie that he can surely see through.
Who am I kidding? He’s always been able to see straight through me.
“Talk to me, Hannah. Don’t close up.”
I let out a sigh and give him a nod. He’s right. I have to be straightforward and honest with him. That’s how relationships are supposed to work, right? It’s been so long since I’d been in… anything… that it’s hard to remember how they go. If something’s bothering me, then I should be able to talk to him about it, right?
“It’s just that… I know you said things between you and Annabelle were harmless, but I just can’t shake the feeling that there’s something else…”
“Hannah, there’s nothing going on between Annabelle and I. We bumped into each other on accident, I didn’t even know she was in town until this afternoon.”
“No, it’s not that. I believe you that she’s just a friend, now. But… was she ever more than just a friend?”
It wasn’t the exact question I had intended to ask, it just kind of came out that way. There was something about the way that he hesitated back at the pub that made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. And it’s been lingering in the back of my mind ever since.
Isaac’s eyes break away from mine for the first time. His mouth opens as if he’s going to say something, but then closes again. Finally, he gives me a serious look. There’s something in it that makes my stomach sink even further.
“I told you I wouldn’t lie to you, Hannah, and I’m not going to start now.” His gray eyes search me for a moment before he continues. “The truth is, Annabelle and I used to be a thing. But it was years ago. Ancient history. She hasn’t been anything but a friend for a long time, now.”
I’m surprised by the fact that the news doesn’t upset me nearly as much as I thought it would. Maybe it’s because a part of me had known all along, or maybe it’s because Isaac is so straightforward with his answer.
“Was it serious?”
He gives me a long look, then he nods his head. That simple nod makes my stomach lurch.
“It eventually became serious, as any relationship does when it drags on.”
“Did you love her?”
The question falls out of my mouth nearly before he’s even finished answering the one before it. Isaac hesitates for a long moment before he says anything. It might be the longest moment of my life. Dread settles on my shoulders before he finally gives me an answer.
“Yes, I did.”
My stomach lurches again as tears spring to my eyes. I dip my head away, trying to conceal the glistening in my eyes. Isaac reaches up to pull my chin back towards him again, but this time I don’t let him.
“Hannah, please don’t be upset with me. I told you, it’s ancient history—nothing you need to worry about. My heart is all yours, every last bit of it.”
“I know. It’s not that.”
“Then talk to me, why are you upset?”
I don’t know what’s come over me. I’ve never been like this around a guy, before. I’ve never gotten this emotional over someone so easily. Is this what love is really like? Caring too much? Not being able to control what you’re feeling? It feels amazing. But it also feels awful.
