“We’re closed,” said Russ quietly. “We closed about an hour ago.”

“Y’ar?” Daryl tilted his head.  “Now what would the State of Virginia have to say about all of your drinking after hours?  I am no liquor license expert but...”

“That works out because I don’t need one,” said Russ. “Please leave so I can lock up.”

“You’re not going to serve me?” asked Daryl.

“That’s the general idea,” laughed Russ softly.

“Russ serve him,” said Foley.

Foley and the bartender exchanged glances.

“Yeah what the hell,” said Russ. “What will you have?”

“Now that’s okay,” said Daryl. “I’ll be on my way.”

“That sounds like the smartest thing you’ve said all day,” muttered John coldly.

Foley said something unintelligible to Donny.  It was a language Naomi didn’t even begin to recognize, but Donny understood it.

“Guys,” John warned.

“I knew it,” stomped Daryl with a laugh. “You’re one of them.  Jesus I wish Farmer was here.  I thought that was just urban folklore but he said so.  He was right.”

“What are you getting at?” dared Paoli in a steely voice.

But Foley ignored him.

“Let’s go,” he sharply to Naomi.

“Foley,” John warned again.

Foley was completely disregarded the sheriff’s counsel about public displays. But Foley’s was not the sort of command that Naomi was about to argue with it.  She gathered her purse and followed him out.  He was so quiet. The rain had cleared and the heat had lifted.  The air was scrubbed and light.  A pang of guilt turned in her belly for all of the drama.  It wasn’t her making but still, she could not help but feel to blame.  It made her felt less welcome with him.

He swung his gorgeous leg over the bike and sat.  It was her turn to climb on.  She did so timidly.  Not with the same enthusiasm as she had the first few times that she had had the pleasure.  Foley looked over his shoulder at her with a gentle scold.  He faced forward again, gripping the backs of her knees and pulling her up against him.

Her curves fit his with electric perfection.  The contact of her flesh with his though filtered through heavy denim made her throb.  If she worked at it, she could make herself orgasm.  The vibration of the Harley was delicious help.   Foley drew her arms around his middle where they belonged.

The bike rolled.  The image of his broad shoulders cutting into the horizon in front of her, never got dull.  The ends of his longish hair feathered out beneath his helmet.  It was just the ends of hair lifted by the wind of the ride but Naomi found it so incredibly erotic.  She had a crush on his hair.

Foley drove them straight to her house.  Straight, that was the steep, narrow, winding road that snaked up the coveted hill.   Though he was a good rider and the rain had stopped, the wheel slid a little.  They didn’t lose their balance but a jolt of adrenalin rifled through her, making her clutch his form the tighter.

“Loosen up,” he called.

She heard him say something but she didn’t know what. She thought he was raising his voice so that she could hear, not because of urgency.  He stopped the bike and lifted his helmet.

“Baby,” he said with a slight edge of anger to his voice. “Loosen up.  Hold on but relax. You’re pulling me.”

Naomi nodded to let him know she heard him.  She was glad for the illusion that the privacy gave her because she teared up.  It hurt for some reason.  It was just a tenth of a mile to her house.  She got off of the bike as soon as it was safe to.  She tried to keep the drama to a minimum but she whipped off the helmet.

“Come here,” he said with apology.

She tried so hard to play it cool.  He laughed at her.

“I didn’t mean to be a jerk,” he said.

“You yelled at me,” she said.

“Partly because I was frustrated and partly because my transmitter is busted,” he said, showing her.

A little a piece that connected to his helmet that had snapped.

“I couldn’t talk to to you like a normal personal.  I just wanted to make sure the house was in one piece.  I hate that guy.  I hate him.  He pissed me off.  You did not.  Okay?” he asked.

“’Kay,” she said.

Then a thought side-lined her.

“What?” he asked.

“How did Daryl just show up at Mario’s?” she asked.

“Well he’s out of the house.  Not a lot of options for food around town,” he said.

“Yeah but he hates that place.  And he drives into Fredericksburg or Culpeper.  That is the last place he would be,” she said.

“Think he was following you somehow?” asked Foley.

“Yes,” she said.

“But we just decided to go last minute,” he said with doubt. “No one could know where we went.  Except for John.  That was different.”

“Do you think he went by your place?” she asked. “Because I am telling you he wouldn’t go there.”

Foley kissed her on the head.  And then he pulled back and looked her straight in the eye.

“Baby, I am about to have hot, wild sex with you.  I do not want to continue this conversation.  I am going to take care of him.  We will not be putting up with his bullshit for too much longer,” he promised.

We
.  He said ‘we’.  It was a thrill to know that he was liking their coming together as much as she was but it was fast.  Naomi did not want theirs to be a fast and furious ride.  Having a little self-restraint might be the smarter way to go because she didn’t want to burn it out.

But who cared about smart when she was looking into his gorgeous eyes.  Or when there was hot, wild sex to be had.

Chapter Seven

The rumble of thunder sounded far off as though the storm had rolled over and on to the next town.  Naomi raised the garage door for Foley so he could rolled his bike inside.  He didn’t wait until the door touched the cement floor before he took Naomi into his arms.  Lightening flickered, casting their shadows onto floor.

Naomi spied on their silhouettes, watching them kiss.  They looked perfect together.  Their shadows were taller and longer than their physical selves.  The image was so romantic and it fueled her passion.

Foley swept her up in his arms and carried her into the house blind.  He had an amazing ability to navigate a house that was not his in the total dark.  It was darker than dark and even Naomi would have a hard time to get around but not him.  He moved with ease, almost glided, with her in his arms.

He somehow knew - or remembered? -- that she wanted to sleep in the dorm room.  In no time he had them on the top most floor.  A spot flooded into through the window lighting the room as though it was moonlight.  Naomi felt more like his mate than his lover.  Like he had taken them to their lair.

Foley had an intense look on his face as he laid her down.  Bathed in the light, Naomi boldly stripped, hamming it up slightly for his pleasure.  It worked.  His entrance expression said it all.   He wanted her bad.  He unbuckled his pant like he was going to yank his belt from his belt loops and spank her.

Instead he pushed the jeans from his hips to reveal a full, rigid erection.  She wantonly let her knees fall apart.  She showed off for him. He reached between and with a feather-light touch.  She drew up at the core and was wet for him.  He gripped behind her knees lazily and then with a sudden but quiet firmness, he turned her over.  She was on her fours.

As he entered her, she lifted her head back.  And then she look forward and caught their reflection in a mirror propped up against the wall on the floor.  It must have been a trick of light and angles for she saw herself clearly, bobbing to and fro as he pounded into her but Foley faded into the shadows.

He slid a masterful arm beneath her belly and pinned her while he rode her steady.  Her movement was limited under his embrace, causing her to take him so deeply.  Naomi decided she could spend the rest of eternity just like she was, grinding on his amazing hardness.

She was able to swirl her hips around on him.  And though he held her, she relaxed her upper body against the bed so her buttocks were up in the air for him, round and taut.  It was an explicit position but Foley made her feel so sexual, so animal.

He rubbed her smooth cheeks.  He reached to her hair and gripped it, with the threat of pulling it before he let it go.  He let her go.  He pressed his finger tips into her back and let them play all over her.

Naomi pushed off the mattress like she was doing a push up only she pushed herself firmly against him.  He moaned.  She did it again.

“Mama,” he muttered.

He climbed onto the mattress, walking onto it on his knees.  Each stride, he impaled her fully, burying himself completely, shocking her with erotic rushes.  Naomi’s nipples were stone hard. She reached for her breast and fondled herself.  She was really taking pleasure in her own touch.  Foley hunched over her, cloaking her, smiling in her ear.

“Does that feel good?” he whispered.

He could be referring to any number of things and the answer would be yes.  He felt amazing inside of her.  She took his hand and placed it on her breast, covering his hand with hers.

“Feel for yourself,” she rasped.

Foley’s warm palm enveloped her cupcake sized breast.  He kneaded it like it was dough.  He rolled her rosy tip in a tight pinch.  The sensation went straight to her core.  She clamp up tight around his full, hard cock.  His breath raked his teeth as he sucked in his breath.

“Delicious,” he growled.

He nudged her flat on her belly and covered her.  He leaned on her back and took her with him.  They were now side to side, her butt to his belly.  He extended his arm around her, along hers and wove their fingers together.

Thunder slammed the house.  The limbs of hundred year  old oak raked the roof.  It sounded like someone scratching to get in.   She stiffened with fright.  Foley propped open her knees and reached between.

He pressed his fingers exactly where they needed to be, working them back and forth almost as well as she would.  Naomi pumped against his touch, helping him along.  She was in a zone, feeling her orgasm almost on her.

“Come for me, baby,” Foley whispered.

He knew.  He pumped into her in short, purposeful strokes pushing her to that sweet abyss.  Foley gripped her ankle and cocked her leg, creating sweet pressure.  Lightening flashed the room, startling her. It was that little bit of adrenaline that sent her over.  Naomi came hard.

In endless spasms, rolling from deep within her.  She was immersed in total bliss.  Foley followed her.  His stroking became more ragged, like he was struggling to move as his climax took him.  His moans  -- more like roars -- mingled with the grumbles of thunder.

Naomi moved against him until his pleasure passed.   She loved how she made him shiver with delight.  He kissed her hair as he regained his mind.  He lay her flat on her back and rose above her.  His face was as close as it could be to hers without kissing her.

“You are without a doubt the most beautiful woman I have ever known,” he said frankly.

It was an unexpected compliment.  She wasn’t too used to compliments and certainly his took her breath away.

“I - “ she stammered.

But he didn’t let her finish.

“You don’t have to say anything,” he said with a smile.  “I just wanted to share that with you.”

“You are a beautiful man,” Naomi replied.

It was the most honest answer she could give.  And then for some reason, Daryl’s taunt that she should check her bank accounts came to mind.

“I know this is not exactly romantic,” she said.  “But I am going to go online for a minute.”

“See if he wiped you out?” he asked casually.

“Yes,” she said.

She hit the light switch and dashed down to her old room for her laptop.  She returned with it.  It didn’t take her long to log on to her account.

“Foley,” she said in a panic.

“Yes,” he said looking over her shoulder.

“He was telling the truth,” her voice wobbled.

Foley gripped her.

“Look at me. We’ll fix this.  He has to have the money somewhere,” he assured her.  “And he will get his.  Because I’m going to give it to him.”

Naomi was too worked up to lay down.  She felt his lips kissing her spine.  He gently took the laptop away from her and covered her body with his.  Foley spread her legs and settled between them.  He made loved to her until she could sleep.

Chapter Eight

Naomi lay in bed listening to the rain tap its fingers on the roof of her house. The storms stopped rumbling and now steadily poured.  She had slept soundly after sex with Foley for a short nap but then she was awake.

Something wasn’t quite right.  The one thing she did not hear was the sump pump.  Whenever it rained, the grinding noise of the ancient engine usually woke the entire how.  That was the weird thing.  She couldn’t hear it.  No sump pump meant a flooded basement.

She threw the covers back, wriggled out of Foley’s warm, secure embrace and went to investigate.  It was a first that she could recall to wander through her own house without a stitch on. It was kind of liberating.  She felt completely grounded, completely safe.  That nagging apprehension she experience earlier that day about going to the bottom floor of the house where the sump pump was, was gone.  With Foley there, she felt completely protected.
