Chapter Six

Tracey woke surrounded by warmth. Somehow they had made it under the covers and Mark lay behind her with a heavy muscled arm draped over her waist, and his hard cock pressed against her ass. Her muscles ached from their love-making the night before, but she still wanted him again.

After his possessive claims in the living room, she’d felt certain of his feelings, but she couldn’t overlook the fact that he hadn’t marked her. She hadn’t marked him either, but she’d expected him to bite her first.

Had he been so caught up in the moment it slipped his mind, or did he never intend to mark her? She knew she would have to talk to him eventually, but she wanted to shower and get dressed first.

She slowly slid out of bed and raced to the shower. Tears threatened under the hot water, but she forced them away. Her emotions felt out of control and she understood she might be overreacting.

She finished her shower and padded softly into the bedroom to get dressed.

“Good morning, baby girl.”

She jumped and let out a little scream.

“Oh my god, Mark! You scared me to death.”

“Sorry,” he laughed. “Why didn’t you wait for me? I could have washed your back…and your front, and between your legs, and—”

“Stop it,” she begged. The images of him soaping her up caused her cheeks to heat. “I didn’t want to wake you.”

“Are you sure that’s the only reason you left me here all alone?” he asked, as if he understood her doubts.

“I’m sure,” she lied. “Now that you’re up, why don’t you shower while I make breakfast?”

He got out of the bed and stalked toward her, fully naked, mindless of his hard cock.

“Next time we shower together,” he promised, and brushed his lips against hers in a gentle kiss. “Merry Christmas, baby girl.”

“Merry Christmas,” she whispered, breathlessly.

He kissed her forehead and walked past her to the bathroom.

She got dressed and hurried into the kitchen. He joined her as she placed the omelets on the table, and he grabbed the plate of toast and butter. They ate mostly in silence, but it was comfortable and she liked that he didn’t feel the need to talk every second.

“Want to watch a movie?” she asked when the dishes were done and put away.

“Yes, but I want to give you your gift first.”

He grabbed her hand and pulled her into the living room.

“You got me a gift? Oh, Mark, you shouldn’t have. I don’t have anything for you.”

“Actually, you do,” he turned to face her.

“No, really, I don’t have—”

“Your gift to me is you, baby girl. I didn’t mark you last night because you didn’t ask me to, but I want to make you mine for the rest of our lives.”

“Oh, Mark, yes. I want that, too,” she said as she wrapped her arms around his waist.

“Good,” he kissed her forehead, “now go get your gift.”

Under the tree, almost hidden beneath the branches, was a small pink box with a white ribbon tied into a bow. She bent down to grab the box and joined him on the couch.

She pulled the ribbon to undo the bow, and took off the lid to reveal a pink velvet ring box. She lifted the lid on the ring box and her eyes filled with tears.

An oval, dark pink sapphire surrounded by diamonds, and two diamond hearts, sat in a platinum band. It was perfect, and her heart melted knowing he’d picked out exactly the right ring.

“Marry me?” he asked.

“Yes, of course,” she said.

She threw her arms around his neck and kissed him fiercely on the lips. Santa had been right. When she opened her heart to love, Mark gave her everything she’d always wanted, starting with himself.

“I bought this the day after we kissed for the first time,” he said when the kiss ended, “and I’ve been carrying it around with me ever since.” He slid the ring down her finger and kissed her mouth again. “I’m so glad you said yes.”

“It’s perfect. Thank you, Mark,” she said, admiring the beautiful setting.

“On to other business,” he said as he slid his hand down her back, below the waist of her pajama bottoms. “What’s this thing on your back?”

She stilled when she realized his hand rested on her tattoo. She’d kept it hidden for nearly a year, but he must have spotted the strategically placed tat when she’d bent to pick up her gift.

Would he chastise her for marking her body, or would he understand her reasons for marking herself with a blue sapphire eyed polar bear.

“I…,”

“Is that for me?” he asked, his face inches from hers.

She could only nod, waiting for his reaction.

“Good. Let’s go to the bedroom.”

He pulled her off the couch and practically dragged her into the bedroom, but she didn’t mind. When she saw the look on his face, she stripped off her clothes and crawled on her hands and knees to the center of the bed.

She kept her ass high in the air, but lowered her face into the pillow and waited for him.

Liquid heat pooled between her legs and dripped down her thigh as she waited for him to join her. Finally, she felt the bed dip and he kissed her thighs and licked the globes of her ass. He slid his hand over her tat, and kissed it reverently.

“I love this,” he said, and then he caressed the folds between her legs. “You are so wet, baby girl. Are you ready for me to fuck you?”

“Yes, please, and…,” she trailed off. She didn’t want to beg, but she wanted him to mark her as soon as possible.

“And?” he pressed two fingers an inch inside her pussy and held them there, waiting for her response.

“Bite me. Mark me as yours,” she begged and pushed back on his hand. Her pussy easily swallowed both digits and it wasn’t enough. She needed his thick cock.

He wrapped her hair in his fist and pulled, and she slid back and forth over his fingers until she came, screaming his name and begging him to fuck her.

“Mark, please.”

He didn’t make her wait any longer. He removed his hands and shoved his cock into her starving channel. He pounded into her hard and fast, and she accepted every inch of him.

“Mark,” she screamed. She wanted to bite him when she came around his cock. “I’m going to—”

He pulled out of her pussy and flipped her onto her back. He entered her again and continued sliding in and out, pushing them both toward completion. She licked his neck and her short canines elongated. She wouldn’t leave much of a mark on him, but he’d be marked and everyone would know he belonged to her.

“Bite me, baby girl.”

She obeyed as the second orgasm ricocheted through her body. When it started to subside, he sank his canines into her neck and she cried in both pleasure and pain. He pumped in and out a few more times, and then roared, long and loud, signaling his release.

“You’re mine now, baby girl,” he said, licking her mate mark.

“Always,” she smiled.

In two days her bear went from silent, to loud, overbearing and possessive.

She wouldn’t have it any other way.

Chapter Seven

Mark licked the polar bear one more time before he crawled out from under the sheet and kissed Tracey on the lips.

“You are insatiable,” she accused, laughing. “We have to get up. I don’t want Santa to walk in on us.”

“He knows everything, baby girl. He knows when we’re sleeping, and when we’re awake,” he said between kisses, “and when we’re fucking.” He licked her nipple and sucked the pert pebble into his mouth.

“Oh god,” she said, all laughter gone, and pulled his hair.

He worked the other side, fueled by her gasps and moans.

After they made their mating official with the bite marks, they’d stayed in bed, loving and learning each other’s bodies for the rest of the day.

The only breaks had been to eat egg rolls and mint chocolate chip ice cream. They had to keep up their strength. He couldn’t let his mate wither away from multiple orgasms.

Over the course of the night, they’d made love several more times and he kissed and licked every inch of her skin, including her pussy. He also got to see her mouth wrapped around his cock. The image of his dick disappearing in her mouth made his cock swell every time he thought about it.

He let go of her breast and kissed her mouth, sliding his cock into her welcoming pussy. He knew he’d never get enough of her sweet body.

“Ho, ho, ho.”

The booming laughter came from the other room and instantly deflated his cock. Tracey pushed at his shoulders with a strength he didn’t know she possessed, a look of horror on her face.

“Stay here. I’ll get rid of him.”

“You can’t do that,” she whispered. She grabbed his arm, but missed, and he pulled on his pajama bottoms and stomped in the other room.

“Mark!” she whispered again, but he ignored her.

He couldn’t believe Santa would show up and embarrass his mate. Even though the man was the most beloved Christmas icon, and his boss, he wouldn’t stand for rude behavior.

He worried needlessly.

The living room was empty. The only thing out of place was another rolled up piece of white parchment, tied with a red ribbon, sitting on the coffee table. He grabbed the note and ran back into the bedroom.

Tracey sat on the bed with the sheet pulled up to her neck.

“You left the door open,” she accused. “How was I supposed to get dressed?”

“You weren’t, that’s why I said to stay here.”

“You’re insufferable,” she hissed.

“Yes, but you like it,” he said and kissed her quickly on the lips.

“Whatever,” she rolled her eyes. “What did he say?”

“He wasn’t in there, but he left a note.”

She scooted closer to him so they could read the missive together, and he pulled off the ribbon and unrolled the paper. Her necklace fell into his hand, and he held open the chain and slid it over her neck.

She looked good wearing her medallion, and he grabbed it when he noticed both sides were now etched with something.

On one side, the familiar picture of an arctic fox was engraved in the gold, but the other side now had an engraving of a polar bear.

“This is beautiful,” she said.

He jumped off the bed and pulled his medallion out of the drawer he’d stored it in.

“Why haven’t you been wearing it?”

“Because I know how much yours means to you, and I didn’t want you to feel anxious or uncomfortable,” he said.

She rose to her knees and kissed him on the lips.

“Thank you,” she said.

“You’re welcome, baby girl. Look,” he flipped his medallion to the normally blank side. “Mine has a fox now.”

Her smile lit up the room and he sat down to read the note.

Dear Mark and Tracey,

Thank you for putting aside your pride and welcoming love back into your hearts. I know it’s been a long year, but I believe the journey served a purpose. If anything, it proved true love lasts, and destined mates truly belong together.

The cabin is yours until Friday, and you both are on vacation until next Monday. Enjoy your time together.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Love,

Santa

“We get the cabin until Friday,” Mark said.

“That’s five more days,” she sighed and lay back down. The sheet pooled around her waist, exposing her breasts again.

“I think now is a good time for your punishment,” he teased.

“What are you talking about?” she giggled.

“Remember three days ago when you purposely locked me on the roof of your building?”

“Uh…,” she laughed, and scooted away from him toward the other side of the bed, but he was faster.

He grabbed her leg and pulled her across the bed, sending her into a fit of giggles.

“Ha, you can’t get away from me,” he said as he covered her body with his own.

“Never,” she said, the giggles gone. “I love you, Mark.”

“I love you, too, baby girl,” he said, and kissed her gently on the lips. “Merry Christmas.”

“Merry Christmas, my bear.”
