Epilogue
Dear Readers,
Charles Dickens once said, "Make them laugh, make them cry, and make them
wait
." For a romance writer, this means that if you're doing a series, save the most irresistible hero for last! I've loved writing about all of my Fallen Angels, and here, finally, is the passionate, adventurous story of Michael, the darkest and most dangerous of them all.
Lord Michael Kenyon is full of contradictions: a warrior who values peace, a man of honor who cannot forgive himself for a horrendous breach of his own code, someone with a great capacity for love who has loved unwisely in the past.
In Catherine Melbourne, he finds the warmth and compassion he has always craved. But when they first meet, the time is not right for loving. And when they meet again, Catherine's secrets stand between them. Only after the fiercest tests of love and loyalty and courage will the two of them find the happiness they so richly deserve.
So is this the end of the Fallen Angels series? Well, yes and no. Michael is the last of the four friends who are the official Fallen Angels, but as I suspected, he has a friend whom you will meet in
Shattered Rainbows
. Expect that story in late summer of 1996. And there may be one more book beyond that.
After all, good men are hard to find—it wouldn't do to waste one!
Happy reading,
Mary Jo Putney
