By the time the second movie was over
Cammie had crawled up into my lap and Kayla was laying her head down on a pillow rested on Caleb’s lap and Michael was passed put on the other couch.  We picked up both girls and took them into Kayla’s room and tucked them in.  Then Caleb went back to get Michael into bed. I cleaned up the mess and turned off the TV.  We were all beat from our day.

“So waffles uh? I like waffles.” Caleb was taking off his clothes and getting into bed.  “Yes will the kids and I eat the
m every Sunday that I have them. I add chocolate chips into them so that way they will eat them.” I pulled on a purple tank top and purple plaid bottoms.  I heard a groan from behind me.  I turned around to see Caleb frowning at me. Smirking I crawled up the bed and tangled my legs with his. “Don’t worry we can sleep naked next week. All week if that makes you feel better.” He leaned in and kissed my lips then my cheek and down my neck. “Yes very, now come here so I can hold you.” I did as he asked and that’s how we fell asleep together.

Chapter 13

Sunday came and went to fast.  Caleb and
Cammie stayed for breakfast and lunch.  The boys played with the video games for most of the day yelling at the TV and then to each other.  It was very entertaining.  The girls played with dolls then went outside and played in the playhouse. If I wasn’t sure about this relationship before I was more than confident about it now. He was great with my kids and I loved his little girl.  We flowed together in my house with ease.

That night I got the kids ready for bed and drew myself a bath.  I couldn’t wait to see him in the morning.  I knew he had to work tonight so I didn’t expect to hear from him.  But he called me around one am just to tell me goodnight. His soft spoken words and the way he let me know that he missed me was too much.  I wanted to tell him how I felt.  We had an amazing weekend together and I didn’t want it to end.  I hope he would feel the same way.

As I walked into the salon on Monday morning I felt alive.  I had a great work out with Caleb and an even better make out session.  I wasn’t expecting him to show up since he didn’t get home till this morning. All the girls were excited about this weekend and I was pretty giddy too. Now if only the week would fly by so we could get to it.

Caleb and I spent every night together this week. We stayed at his house and I got to cook in his gorgeous kitchen.  On Thursday he got
Cammie again and I met his ex-girlfriend. She was very nice and told me how much Cammie enjoyed her weekend with us.  It was a change to see someone else’s ex be so nice.  Thank God I haven’t talked to Jason.  After his little stunt at my house a week ago I didn’t want anything to do with him. It just showed me how much he had changed from the beginning of our marriage to now.

We took
Cammie out to eat at some fast food joint so she could play in the play area.  While she was playing me and Caleb talked about this weekend. “Is there anything that I need to bring besides myself and a fishing pole? I talked to Nick and he told me what he was bringing but other than that I have no clue.” I took a bite of my french fry and thought about what he needed to bring.

“Well swimming trunks, clothes, I will get all the food.  We make this big feast.  We don’t keep the fish that we catch.  We mostly just go to get away from the world.
You boys go out on the lake in the pontoon and us ladies sunbathe on the shore.” He sat back and pondered what I said. “How about I provide the drinks?  It’s not like I can’t find some laying around.” He bent over and kissed my cheek.  “Only if you get the Cotton Candy stuff then maybe I will let you see what’s under my suit.” He tilted his head and gave me a sly little grin.  “Hmmmm I think I can manage that.”

Friday morning we were loading up his truck with all of our supplies.  I was getting nervous because I haven’t brought anyone to the lake house in over ten years. But at the same time I was very excited.  We packed three big coolers and headed over to the bar to grab some more items. I have never been to a bar this early in the morning before, it was dark and very quiet.  Luke was behind the bar stocking.

“Hey guys. Long time no see Ryan. Where have you been?” Luke walked around the bar and gave me a big hug.  “Well you know, your boss over there has been keeping me busy.  Maybe I will come by next week, wait nope I have my kids.  It will have to be the week after, sorry.” I gave him my best pouty face and continued to talk. “You know if you miss me that much you can always come by the salon and let me chop off this mess you have on your head.” I ran my fingers through his hair messing it all up.  Luke has long shaggy brown hair that curls above his ears. It looks like he hasn’t seen a barber in years. Caleb walked back in with a box full of goodies.  We said our goodbyes and loaded up the coolers with our drinks.

Heading out of town I remembered to call Jason so that way he would know I was out of town till Monday. I got his voicemail.  Thank God.

“Jason, hey reminder, I will be down at the lake house.  It’s the fishing trip.  But I will be back on Monday to get the kids from school. Thanks.”

I was still nervous.  I wanted this weekend to go good without any problems. Not that I am anticipating any because my family loves Caleb but you never know.  The two hour drive was great we talked and Caleb sang to me and I sang a little to him.  But I loved his voice more.  I was excited to know that he brought his guitar with us.  I was dying to hear him play again.  He informed me a while back that he doesn’t do too much with the band because of his commitment with the ba
r. He just fills in when needed but he does enjoy it a lot.

“Wow is this it?” We pulled into a long drive. I let out a big long sigh. “Yes
this is my home away from home.” My grandpa built this place from the ground up.  I was a two story, five bedroom house that had a wraparound porch. It was an old colonial type of house and I loved every bit of it.  We weren’t the first ones here.  Judging by the vehicles parked in the driveway everyone was already here. They must have heard us pull up because everyone came out to help us unload all of our supplies.

“I have a surprise for you.” Renee was jumping up and down and clapping her hands.  I could only imagine what was in store for me.
“Oh really? Let me guess you decided it was time that you stopped bugging your sister about her love life?” She just grinned. “No that will never happen until you get married again.” Oh man marriage.  Why would she bring that up?  Caleb was standing right next to me with our bags.  I was so embarrassed because she looked right at him when she said it.  He just laughed and brushed her off.  We all headed into the house so we could put everything away.  I went to tell Caleb where to put our bags when I was attacked from behind by two little arms.  Not knowing who it was I swung around and was greeted by my little sister.

Tears were welling up in my eyes.  It had been almost a year since the last time that I saw her. I grabbed her up in a big bear hug and didn’t want to let go.

“How come you didn’t tell me you were coming this weekend?” I finally let her go so I could get a good look at her.  She looks just like our mom.  Shoulder length brown hair with blonde highlights and big brown eyes. She was a few inches taller than me.  She could easily pass as a model if she wanted to.

“We wanted to keep it a surprise.  I want you to me someone.” Grabbing me by the hand she
drug me into the living room where everyone was sitting around making plans. Sitting on the far left corner of the big L shaped leather couch was a cute little black haired boy.

I normally don’t approve of her having boyfriends but she is in college now so she can make her own choices. He got up from his seat and walked over to me.  Lynn introduced him as Andrew. “Please call me Drew.
Nice to meet the other sister finally.” He was very cute and very nice. “Nice to meet you too. Lynn I would like you to meet someone also.”

I looked around for Caleb to find him in the kitchen helping Renee put the food and liquor away. I went over and grabbed him to introduce him
to my little sister. “Sissy this is Caleb, Caleb this is my little sister Lynn and her boyfriend Drew.” The expression on my little sister’s face was priceless. He bent down kissed her on the cheek and shook Drew’s hand. “Nice to finally meet you Lynn and you to Drew.”  My little sister was having a hard time trying to make her mouth work. When she finally found the words I died laughing.

“So you’re the God? Hmmm sis never said you were this damn gorgeous.” Leave it to my other
sister to point out his God like looks. “So what are you guys just dating or are you my sister’s boyfriend?” I smacked my sister with her comment. “Lynn don’t be so rude.”

Turning and looking at Caleb I wanted to see what he had to say. “Well I haven’t really officially asked her but I would like to think that I am.” He looked at me and I could not formulate any words so I did my usual when he had me tongue tied.  I nodded.

Since it was too late for the guys to fish we all made our way to the back deck and the boys got the grill going.  We made our special drinks and just watched our men argue about how the steaks would be cooked.  The first night the men always cook.  We have steaks, corn on the cob and potato salad.

“So I guess now you guys are together?” Renee asked as she leaned her hands on the patio furniture.

“God yes finally, they talk every day and last week she didn’t go home once.  I swear she should just leave some of her stuff at his house.” Amanda put her two cents in to my sister’s question.  Little did they know I already had my toothbrush, shampoo, razor, and a blow dryer at his house.  We figured it would be easier that way.

“Yes well we haven’t seen her smile this much in a long time.  Other than the sappy love music that gets played in the salon, it’s a good thing.” Kris winked at me.

“I am just happy she is finally getting laid.” That came from Ky.

“Yes yes the cob webs have been long gone for a while thank you very much.  Now can we
move this subject along?” I didn’t want to be the center of attention. “Sissy tell me how school is going. Have you decided on a major yet?”

Lynn began to give us the
rundown of all the frat parties she has been to. She also let us know she wants to join a sorority.  I was happy for her, mom would be proud to know that she was doing so well. She also told us how she met Drew; it was at a frat party.  He helped get her away from some guy that was bothering her. “Well it looks like you both found your Knights in shining armor.” With Kris’s comment Lynn shot me a look and Ky proceeded to tell her about the big lug that attacked me at the bar.  I haven’t mentioned to any of them that I still have nightmares of the whole incident. I didn’t want them to worry.

Once the food was cooked we all sat around at ate.  The conversation flowed and the drinks where going down nice. The food and the company were perfect together.
Once we cleaned everything up we settled in front of the fire pit. We were drinking and laughing and having a great time.  After twisting Caleb’s arm he finally went to his truck and grabbed his guitar.  He started strumming a few cords and then went into some beautiful cords.  We all sat in awe.  None of us know how to play, just sing a little. He played a few songs for us and all of us girls started making up goofy verses to the cords that he was playing. I don’t think I have laughed that hard in a long time.

We decided to call it a night around eleven because the guys were getting up early. My little sister and her boyfriend camped out in the living room while the adults made our way to our rooms.  Every room in the house had its own bathroom.  I helped Caleb unpack our belongings. I headed into the bathroom and did my nightly ritual. This thing with Caleb was becoming second nature for us.
We flowed well together.

“No
pj’s tonight.  I want to feel your skin pressed against mine.”  I was in the middle of putting one of his big shirts over my head when he stopped me. I was a little shocked by his comment.  I mean we were in a house full of my family. I looked up at him and his eyes were full of desire.  How could I say no to the blue eye?

He directed me back into the bedroom and placed me on the center of the bed.  I couldn’t make out what the other look was in his eyes but it made my heart stop beating. “I
wanna make sweet slow love to you tonight Ryan.” He was leaning over and whispering in my ear.

He started to kiss and suckle his way down my body.  He paused for a brief moment on my breast.  He was massaging and sucking at my nipples. “Caleb…..” His soft kisses had my body on overdrive.
His hands were worshiping my every curve.  This man was making me fall in love with him tonight by his gentleness. I couldn’t hold the tears back. They slipped out of the corners. He didn’t have to say it but I could tell that Caleb loved me.

“Baby I got you please don’t cry. Let me take care of you.” How could I say no to that?  He wiped away my tears and slipped inside of me. I closed my eyes enjoying the love that he was making to me.  “Baby
open your eyes.” When I opened my eyes the tears came again. He was truly the most passionate man and he was making love to me.
