“Richardson.” Zak frowned, not sure how to react to his new fuck buddy being called a thug. “Yeah, I hope I will find a market here.”

“Can I see your arms?” Cox asked with that same smile and kept looking into Zak’s eyes. Zak held the eye contact, and then it hit him. Cox wasn’t keeping him here in hope to get some intel, the guy was
flirting
with him. He couldn’t help but snort. What were the odds?

“Sure.” He made an inviting move with his head and exhaled, watching the man’s shapely body as he walked across the road to join Zak.

“That is some nice work. I’m Peter.” Cox held out his hand. “I always thought of getting one, but it wouldn’t be a good idea in my line of work.”

Zak shook his hand and slowly moved his thumb over the sensitive place at the side of Cox’s wrist. He was watching every twitch on that square, clean-cut face. “I guess that depends on where you have it. There are places on your body that your colleagues won’t see, am I not right?”

When Peter’s smile widened, Zak knew he’d hit the right spot. Tall, all-American Officer Cox could turn out to be the other side of the coin Zak needed. “Might be true. Maybe you should show me the best place to have one?”

Zak raised his brows and smiled. Maybe he would get some ass after all?

Chapter 8

A tiresome day deserved a good ending, and it was exactly what Stitch was planning to get. A happy ending. When he met Zak two months ago, he was a twenty-seven year old gay virgin. Now? Under the pretense of getting new tattoos and helping Zak with DIY, he was getting a piece of prime male ass twice, sometimes three times a week. He’d do it every fucking day, morning and evening if it wasn’t for having to keep things quiet. After that crazy fuck in the clubhouse, he knew he overdid it. Clubhouse was off limits.

Zak turned out not to just be a good fuck either, it was nice to spend time with him, chilling in the garden, or watching stupid reality shows. Zak was addicted to watching travel shows, and was always drawing with one of them playing in the background. They gave him the right space of mind to do new designs, apparently.

Zak’s house was like a safe haven, a place where they could be together in peace. Once, they fucked in the paint on the newspaper-covered floor. At another time, Stitch fucked Zak in the shower, and they toppled over. Stitch limped for a whole week. That other time, he did Zak doggy style so hard Zak had carpet burns on his knees and hands. It was a fuckfest like no other. Zak had the best ass, the best lips, the prettiest ink on his skin, and the sexiest voice. Staying for the night every now and then became a habit Stitch wasn’t giving up any time soon. Even Versay accepted him as part of the pack. Zak told him the dog’s name was actually ‘Versailles’, after a famous French palace, but they both decided ‘Versay’ sounded much better. He held the beast when Zak chose to give it a makeover. The pedigree poodle now had a mohawk running along his whole back, and the name Versay stuck.

Stitch made sure no one followed him to Zak’s, that their relationship was kept clean and secret. As a result, Stitch became a more satisfied individual in general. He was taking out the trash, doing his own laundry, and taking Holly to school every other week. Perfect fucking ex-husband. Okay, so he did argue about Crystal seeing Milton in his house, but in the end, they did come to an agreement, and Milton got his visiting days. Stitch generously offered to be out of the house on those nights, which perfectly coincided with him needing a cover for staying at Zak’s. It was also more convenient than staying at Captain’s, since he had an old lady and all.

Stitch had no idea how long this honeymoon period would last, but it could last all his life for all he cared. Once, Zak even made him pancakes. Fucking
pancakes.
He knew he had arrived the moment he saw those. They had blueberries, cream, and the works. Stitch had eaten seven of those, and then burnt all the calories by fucking Zak twice in one night.

Spending so much time with Zak, he started enjoying his little quirks, like the silly habit of always checking all the locks and windows before going to bed, or the way he liked his coffee with fresh lemon juice instead of milk or sugar. On the days when Stitch stayed the night, they would eat something while watching television, play some videogames, fuck like rabbits. It felt oddly normal, and Stitch grew to love the smell of Ms. Abbot’s sheets, the tacky decor, hell, even the occasional bit of gardening Zak made him do after he decided to save some money by growing a small vegetable garden. Unfortunately, Zak’s business meant that he was spending more and more time with customers, but at least he would always let Stitch know. And even when Zak was working on their home nights, he had no problem letting Stitch wait for him in the living room.

Being post-divorce was the perfect excuse to avoid getting together with any girls, so Stitch was safe on that side as well. All he needed was to keep club business under the radar, and he was set. With Gator pushing for more runs, it wasn’t easy, but Stitch stayed in line with club orders and in effect had more cash to help out Crystal when needed, buy shit for Zak, or even for his personal carpentry projects.

He had just finished work for the day and texted Zak that he would be at his place in half an hour. Stitch waved at the guys already heading for the bar and hopped on his bike, eager to see his... that was another problem. What should he call Zak? Lover? Boyfriend? Old lord? Even thinking the last one made Stitch cringe. He was halfway to Zak’s house when his cell phone started buzzing against his skin. Being only minutes away, he chose not to pick it up and drove straight to Zak’s place. It was still very early, which meant they could finish a chair they were making together. He was doing most of the job, but it was fun to be a teacher nonetheless.

He smiled, remembering all the lessons he got from Zak. What angles were good during the fucking, that Zak liked to be held down because it excited him how strong Stitch was. One time, they spent an hour just touching. Zak held Stitch’s hands and moved them all over his body, made him suck on his pierced nipples. It was sweet torture, but made them both so excited that they came within two minutes after actually getting down to business.

With that thought, Stitch parked in front of Zak’s house and checked his phone as he walked up the porch. It was just a missed call so he knocked on the door, like a good citizen.

Versay ran up to the door and jumped on it, barking with glee. Zak came soon after and smiled at Stitch through the small round window.

“Hey, didn’t expect you today,” he said, showing him in.

“Yeah, I was supposed to have a job to finish, but it got postponed, so I’m all yours.” Stitch grinned at him and walked right in, petting Versay on the way. He especially wore the leather pants laced at the front because he’d noticed Zak’s hungry stare when he saw Stitch in them the other day. And the stare was back, trailing down Stitch’s crotch like it was already unlacing the front. But then Zak looked up and gave a low sigh.

“I’m happy to see you, but I already have plans for tonight. I’m leaving now.”

Stitch closed the door and never stopped grinning. “Too bad. Your plans are about to change.” He wrapped his arms around Zak’s waist, but the smile faltered on his face when Zak pulled on Stitch’s fingers, untangling himself from his arms.

“No, I’m serious. Come on.” Zak chuckled and pulled away. “You may stay with Versay if you want. I’ll be back late.”

Stitch frowned at him and spread his arms. “I’m not gonna fuck Versay. The fuck? I came here just for you.”

Zak patted him on the shoulder, wiggling his eyebrows. “I don’t know, there should be some red lingerie in my aunt’s drawers. Maybe it could improve the mood so that you two can get to know each other better.”

Stitch slapped his hand. “This isn’t funny at all. Why won’t you stay?”

“Because I’m meeting a friend back at home.” Zak moved to the door, as if he didn’t care about Stitch’s opinion at all. “So, you’re staying? Because I need to lock the house otherwise.”

“No, I’m not staying! I’m going with you. Who’s the friend?” A red light started bleeping in Stitch’s brain, screaming “danger, danger!”. All he could think of was how he’d found out Crystal was cheating on him. And with a guy called Milton at that.

Zak frowned, opening the door. One movement of his hand made Versay sit, even though he was wiggling his tail like a mad hound. “Whoa, what’s up with that attitude? And of course you’re not going with me. I haven’t seen him in three months.”

“I just wanna know who it is. What’s the big deal?” Stitch was getting more agitated by the second. Why did Zak think this was okay?

Zak frowned, turning in the doorframe. His eyebrows rose on his forehead. “Wait. Are you jealous?”

Stitch swallowed, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. “It could be anyone.” Stitch wasn’t gonna answer stupid questions. Of course he was jealous, Zak was his to spend time with. They had a thing going on. If Zak were a woman, Stitch would have a claim on him and no other guy would dare approach him unless he wanted to go on a date with Stitch’s knuckles. But with things as they were, Zak was fair game for anyone.

Zak shook his head with a chuckle and pinched the base of his nose. “It’s a friend. If you want to go somewhere else, now’s the time because I need to go, yeah?” He stepped on to the porch.

“Why don’t you tell me who the friend is? I have the right to know where you’re going,” Stitch rasped, clenching his hands into fists not to have his fingers tremble with anger. Why was this being thrown at him now? He’d had his hopes up for a fun evening.

Zak rolled his eyes. “No, you don’t have the ‘right’ to know, but if you must, his name’s Travis.” He gestured for Stitch to leave the house.

“Did this
Travis
fuck you?” Stitch rasped and pulled him back into the house. Zak was
not
going on a date with some fucking Travis.

“Hey!” Zak slapped his hand and rushed out of the house. “What the fuck is up with you?”

With him? Stitch followed Zak, shaking with a barely contained promise of violence. “Simple question. Did you, or did you not sleep with Travis?”

Zak backed away even farther, his eyes narrowed. “I did. So?”

This was all the red cloth the bull in Stitch needed. “So you’re not going! I don’t allow it,” he growled and grabbed Zak’s arm. Why the fuck would Zak prefer to go see an ex-lover than spend the evening with him?

Zak stared at where Stitch held onto him, his face flushing. “Fuck off, you can’t tell me who I can see.”

Stitch let go of him when he saw a neighbor’s face in the window of the house next door. “This is how it’s gonna be?” He lowered his voice.

Zak shook his head and pulled the door shut, locking it with a flick of the key. His shoulders were all tense. “Go home, Stitch. I don’t want to see your face tonight.”

“Oh, so you can tell
me
what to do, huh?” Stitch sneered at him. He was
not
letting this go.

“You’re freaking crazy, you know that?” growled Zak and rushed to his car. He jumped right in and started the engine never looking back to Stitch.

Stitch screamed out into the sky and kicked the wooden railing on the porch so hard he broke one of the posts with a loud creak. How dare Zak disrespect him like that? Stitch watched the car drive away, the purple flames on its sides almost glowing as if Zak was using them for speed. With a snarl, he walked over to his bike. This was crazy? Stitch would show him crazy.

Chapter 9

Zak groaned, enjoying the feeling of the machine prickling his skin as Travis added more shading to the new tattoo on Zak’s neck. The constant, somewhat numb pain was just what he needed after the fight with Stitch. He couldn’t believe this guy. Sure, they did have minor arguments, and he’d noticed that Stitch had been coming over more and more, something he didn’t mind and in fact enjoyed, but at the end of the day, they were still fuck buddies. There was nothing that would give Stitch the right to control who Zak was seeing, or what his plans were. What did Zak miss? They’d been having such a good time for the last two months, with Stitch staying over at least twice a week. They had been doing various projects around the house and walking Versay together, he taught Stitch how to cook dried pasta (it was pathetic that a grown man didn’t know how to do it in the first place), and they were generally having lots of fun.

He groaned, remembering how good it had been just the day before, when they had sex on the sofa in front of the television, with him on his stomach and Stitch gently grinding his cock inside as he clung to Zak with his whole body. It got them both insanely hot before they came. Rough boy was doing his homework.

“How are you finding your new place? I didn’t think you’d actually move out of New Orleans. You loved it here.” Travis smiled at him as he worked on the ink. Zak had barely recognized him through the beard he’d decided to grow. He didn’t like beards.

“It’s different, your neighbors actually take interest in your life, which isn’t a good thing, but at the same time, it’s much more peaceful. I’m enjoying myself so far, but I don’t think I could stay there in the long run.”

“Let me guess. You’re running out of guys to hook up with?” Travis laughed and shook his head.

Zak chuckled, yielding to the cool touch as Travis moved the machine over Zak’s nape. “I’m not really looking. That guy I told you about earlier, he’s super hot. I’m not bored with him yet.”
