Mack grunted behind her. “Woman, how is it you get tighter and tighter each time?”

She wiped at the sweat beading on her brow. “I think it’s you getting bigger and bigger.”

“It’s us, Beth,” he said as he began to thrust. “Our bodies were made to be joined. I’m going to spend the rest of my life making you happy. Just. Like. This.”

He pounded away at her, and she almost felt it in her throat. She let out a savage cry. “You’re doing a damn good job of it right now. Oh, Mack!”

He increased his speed, and she braced herself on the intricate sculpted footboard. As Mack fucked her harder, the footboard began to crack. Still, he didn’t stop. Beth clenched her hands around the woodwork until her nails began to scrape up splinters of wood. As her orgasm shot her into the heavens and as Mack came with a shout, the footboard finally cracked under them and broke off into pieces. Mack held her so she wouldn’t tumble forward off his cock onto the floor.

Mack emptied himself with a final, slow thrust and pulled out, bringing her body into an embrace. They looked at each other and burst into peals of laughter. Beth was still clutching one of the broken pieces of wood.

She wiped the tears from her eyes and waved the footboard fragment. “I think that might have been antique.”

“No matter,” he replied, his voice a satisfied purr. “As it happens, I’m an expert in antiques. I’ll get you another.”

“Boy,” she said, snuggling against his chest, “I’ve never shattered furniture during sex. That’s one for my personal record books.”

He tipped up her chin and took her mouth in a soft, lingering kiss. “You’re one for my personal records books. You’re my world, Beth.”

She smiled. He was hers, too.
