"The Opposite" (5.19.94).
  George is depressed because every decision in his life was wrong, so he resolves to do the opposite.  He tests the theory, which results in a date with an attractive woman and a job with the New York Yankees.  Conversely, Elaine experiences the opposite repercussions and slowly becomes what George used to be.  She loses romance and her job all over the love of Jujyfruit candy.  Meanwhile, Jerry realizes that he breaks even in every aspect of life. 
Subplot:
Kramer promotes his book on "Live with Regis & Kathie Lee" but his typical incoordination precipitates the cancellation of his publicity tour.

"The Chaperone" (9.22.94).
  Jerry begins dating Miss Rhode Island in the upcoming beauty pageant but all sexual advances are thwarted by her chaperon, Kramer.  She is impressed with Kramer's pageant knowledge and hires him as a personal consultant.  The odds of victory improve until Jerry accidentally kills her trained doves for a magic act. 
Subplots:
George convinces the Yankee organization to use cotton uniforms instead of polyester.  The team breezes to victory in the first game, but washer shrinkage causes constrainment and a mammoth defeat.  Despite interviewing for an editor position, Elaine is hired as Justin Pitt's personal assistant to perform pedantic duties.

"The Big Salad" (9.29.94).
  George is distressed when his girlfriend takes credit for purchasing Elaine's big salad, so naturally he feels compelled to clarify the situation with Elaine, even at the expense of his romantic relationship. 
Subplots:
Jerry loses all interest in his girlfriend after discovering that she previously dated Newman.  Elaine searches for a mechanical pencil for Mr. Pitt, and accepts a date with a persistent salesman.  Kramer's penalty stroke in golf may have prompted Steve Gendason to kill a dry cleaner.  Kramer helps Gendason escape the police by traveling down the New Jersey turnpike in a white Ford Bronco (à la O.J. Simpson).

"The Pledge Drive" (10.6.94).
  Elaine organizes a fund-raising pledge drive and persuades Jerry to perform.  After throwing away the event organizer's thank you card, he makes amends by arranging a guest appearance by Danny Tartabull.  Unfortunately, the Yankee never arrives because George insists upon chasing after a motorist that gave him "the finger."  Kramer volunteers to answer telephones for the pledge drive. 
Subplots:
Problems arise when Elaine confuses her friend's voice with that of her high-talking husband.  Kramer convinces Jerry to cash numerous birthday checks, which results in Nana overdrawing her account.  Mr. Pitt's eccentric etiquette of eating candy bars with a fork and knife becomes the latest craze.

"The Chinese Woman" (10.13.94).
  The crossing of telephone wires results in George's calls being forwarded to Donna Chang's residence.  Jerry asks her for a date and is disappointed when she is Caucasian.  Donna also speaks with George's parents and uses Chinese proverbs to reconcile their marriage, that is, until Estelle discovers that Donna is from Long Island. 
Subplots:
Elaine hangs up whenever Noreen's boyfriend answers the telephone, which raises suspicion that Noreen is having an affair.  Kramer's low sperm count prompts an uncomfortable switch to boxer shorts.  George frets about his father conversing with a man in a cape.

"The Couch" (10.27.94).
  Jerry purchases a couch and gives Elaine the old davenport.  When Poppie accidentally urinates on the new sofa, George willingly accepts the soiled furniture and merely flips the cushion.  Jerry then asks Elaine to return the old couch, which is subsequently ruined by grape juice.  Meanwhile, George joins a book club but prefers watching
Breakfast at Tiffany's
on video.  He imposes upon an Afro-American family and spills grape juice on their couch. 
Subplot:
Kramer and Poppie's business partnership dissolves after a disagreement over the patron's right to choose pizza toppings.  Elaine refuses to associate with anyone that supports anti-abortion groups, which includes boycotting Poppie's restaurant and breaking up with the perfect boyfriend.

"The Gymnast" (11.3.94).
  Jerry is enthusiastic about having sex with an Olympic gymnast, Katya, but finds the entire sexual experience average.  Ironically, Katya breaks up with Jerry when their sexual encounter is anything but magical. 
Subplots:
George meets his girlfriend's mother and is caught eating an eclair from the kitchen garbage, which becomes one of three
faux pas
that signal the demise of yet another romance.  Elaine's boss is mesmerized by 3-D art, so she handles an important merger negotiation.  Mr. Pitt is then forced to save the merger by giving a speech reminiscent of an Adolf Hitler oration.  Kramer is tortured by a kidney stone that eventually exits during a circus high wire act.

"The Soup" (11.10.94).
  Comedian Kenny Bania gives Jerry a new Armani suit in exchange for dinner at a nice restaurant.  They repeatedly dine together but Bania refuses to classify the meal as dinner, so Jerry donates the expensive suit to Elaine's pompous boyfriend. 
Subplots:
Elaine invites an Englishman to New York, but they are romantically incompatible.  As he prepares to depart, the Armani suit impresses a prospective employer, which may allow the Brit to stay indefinitely.  George has an afternoon date with a waitress, but his discussion about manure is not endearing.  Kramer recovers from a painful kidney stone with a strict diet of fresh fruit.

"The Mom & Pop Store" (11.17.94).
  Kramer extends patronage to a mom-and-pop shoe repair store by offering Jerry's entire collection of sneakers, except a pair of cowboy boots.  When Kramer notices exposed wires in the ceiling, the owners are forced to close their business, and quickly desert the city with all of Jerry's shoes. 
Subplots:
After purchasing a car, George uses Kramer's mangled arm and a masticated pencil to prove the vehicle's prior owner was Jon Voight the actor.  Elaine wins a ticket to Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade so Mr. Pitt can commandeer a rope on the Woody Woodpecker balloon.  Jerry is excluded from Tim Whatley's party but crashes the event to locate a dentist willing to repair a chipped tooth.
