“Because I think there’s a chance to maybe scoot the end of the world time a little farther into the future?” I asked as I pulled out of the parking lot and onto a one-way street.

“Because you think humans will
come together
and
work things out
. It’s hopeless.”

NOTES & THANKS

First, as always, thank you for taking the time to read this story. I’m always interested in hearing from readers, whether you want me to write more, or whether you want me to put my head in a garbage compactor and forget to turn it off.

I originally planned on releasing this as a complete book, but some other things got in the way, and unfortunately, I had to stop about three chapters after the end of this book. However, I’ll be picking up where I left off in a couple of weeks (I’m writing this on May 1, 2014), and the second half of the book should be ready by the end of the summer.

I tried to pick a good cliffhanger-y spot to end this at, so hopefully the rage-filled messages I get from you will be because once again, I wrote too little, left you at a cliffhanger, or you just generally wish negative energy on me. If you’ve read “Chasing Time,” then you’ve already read this half of the story, since I’ve included it as a “bonus” within that book. If not, well, here’s my chance to pimp “Chasing Time.”

It’s another time travel story, but much, much different than this one. It’s about some dude going back to boring old France in the 5th century to kill some other dude. It’s pretty boring. But it has a lot of crude language in it (not for kids!). Actually, it’s a pretty decent story. Hrmm… it’s hard for me to judge, since I wrote it. I suppose if you enjoy the other drivel I’ve written, you’ll like it. It’s a fairly light story, unlike where this one is going, and a lot of my other books/stories have gone.

Thanks to Brandi Hedden for helping me edit this story. Thanks to Carly, my wife, for not divorcing me (yet). Thanks to my cats for not destroying ALL of my furniture (just most of it). Thanks to all of the tech companies involved in starting the personal computer revolution. Thanks to the Chicago Blackhawks for winning two Stanley Cups in the last four years, and hopefully a third by the end of this season. Thanks to Charles and Dave. I have no idea who Charles and Dave are, but if your name is Charles or Dave (or Charlesand Dave, or Charles Anddave, or some variation of that), then thank you. You’ve been a huge help, and I appreciate it.

Thanks to Cheryl @ CCR Book Cover Designs for another great cover:

Anything else? No? All righty then. Time to get back to finishing this book.

Oh, I have some other books. You won’t like them, so I won’t even tell you what they are. If you are still curious/interested, well… don’t be. They’re terrible. I wouldn’t read them.
