He smiled, his eyes bright, and shook his head. "Not at all. I was simply going to get started on a breakfast order to go."
Keyword: to go
, I thought disappointedly, the trip felt so short.

"Are we in a rush?"

"I have those meetings to attend."

"With the gorgeous blonde?" I smiled weakly. I meant it as a joke, but a small part of it felt true and it hurt.

"Come here." He held his hand out. I put my hand within his. He brought me to a mirror that was in his bedroom. "You're gorgeous. You have this whole look to you."

"Is it the blonde highlights? You know you have a thing for blondes."

"Stop it." He looked at me though the mirror. "Beautiful blondes are a dime a dozen, but you are one of a kind. This black hair, your fair skin, your body," he spanked my round ass when he said that. "And on top of that, those eyes."

"
My
eyes?"

"Yes, you have the most bewitching brown eyes. I find myself often staring at them."

I turned and looked at him. I kissed his lips and hugged him tightly. I thanked him and saw that his eyes were bright and happy. He was grinning from ear to ear. I passed my fingers through his hands and he had that look in his eye again. I leaned forward and kissed his lips. I held on tightly and jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist. He held on to me and I could feel my body responding to the closeness of his, ready to have him inside of me again.

"We can't." He was kissing my neck. I tightened the hold my legs had around him.

"Why not?"

"Remember those meetings I have to run?" he reminded me. I groaned. "We have all the time in the world for that." He kissed my nose and stood up. "Besides, shouldn't you be preparing for the ride back?"

I was decked out in comfy clothes, shivering, waiting for Blake to meet me outside. I wanted to wear the winter gear, but he reminded me that I would only have it on for such a short time that it didn't make sense. The driver was smoking a cigarette and Blake was inside finishing up some business calls. He jogged out and came down the stairs. He was in sweatpants and a t-shirt that hugged his body like it was made for him.

"Let's go," Blake said as he approached. We walked over to the stretch limo with tinted windows.

"Are you taking me to prom?" I teased when he opened my door. He laughed.

"No, I am just complying with your order." He sat inside next to me. He rolled up the partition.

"What are you talking about?"

"You suggested that I give you something...
strong
to knock you out before the jet ride back."

"Are you giving me some Xanax?" I wasn't a fan of prescription medicine but just the thought of being so high up in the air again was making me nervous. I could use some Xanax.

"No, I have another method." I sharply looked up at his eyes.

"Here?" I asked and was rewarded with a nod. "Now?" He nodded again. "But what about the driver? Couldn't he hear us?" I whispered.

"Then I guess you're going to have learn how to be quiet." He smiled.

He pulled my shirt over my head and grabbed my breasts. He unclipped my bra and slid it off my arms. Blake didn't hesitate before he started feasting on my breasts. His tongue circled my nipples, stiffening them into hard peaks that pointed right at him. He chafed them with his teeth and I writhed beneath him. His mouth must have been devoted to getting me aroused, because I had to shut my legs to calm the sexual vibes shooting throughout my body. His mouth left trails of kisses on my breasts and then resumed enveloping them. His hands gripped my thighs and spread my legs, then he pulled out the waist of my sweatpants enough to fit his hand in. His hand moved my underwear to the side and started to caress my core. He was going in circles and my moisture was all over his fingers. I moaned out loud and then slapped my hand over my mouth to muffle my own moans so the driver wouldn't hear me.

The car was turning a corner and he was pulling my sweatpants off. He pushed his own pants down enough so that he could pull himself out. He was teasing me around the lips with his hard, thick, very erect stem.

"Put it inside," I moaned softly as I put my hand on his cock. Then I lifted my hips slightly and let him slide under me so he could squeeze himself into me. I hissed as he switched his rate. He was buried deep within me with each quick stroke. My head was banging against the door, but I didn't care. Between his movements and the car's motion, I knew I was nearing the end. There was a quaking in my legs. Blake shot me a devious grin, so I knew he felt it.

"Are you ready for me to knock you out?" I looked puzzled and he didn't give me a chance to ask questions.

He was going rough and hard. He brought my legs up and closer, so I was even tighter than normal. I was biting my lip so hard, I was sure I was going to draw blood. My task was to not make any noise, but him plowing into me without remorse wasn't making it easy. Of course, I started moaning and groaning, but when he changed his rhythm and how deep he was going, I couldn't help but scream out in pleasure. I was so loud that he had to put his hand over my mouth. I was relieved in that sense and as soon as I came, I felt sleepy. He continued on for about another five minutes. Finally, his knees gave in and he exploded.

A minute later, we were pulling our clothes together. I put my messy hair into a bun and he just raked his hand through his hair. I saw the familiar jet through the window, but I was so tired that I didn't even care. In fact, as soon as I sat down on the leather lounge chair, I was already falling asleep after I was strapped in.

Chapter 12

"It sounds like you had a full day of sex." Vanessa had rushed over to my apartment as soon as she heard we were back; there was no way I was going to get away with not giving her all of the details. I was trying to fill her in as much as I could without putting dirty images in her head, but it was hard considering the day's activities.

"I know it sounds like that, but it was so much more than that. We made a real connection," I insisted as I poured two glasses of wine.

"You guys are the only fools I know who wait ten years to make a 'real connection.'" She used air quotes at the end. "So, he explained Miss Blondie then?" Vanessa was suspicious about the blonde I'd seen him with, even though I kept telling her it was all business. It had to be. Nothing else would make sense.

"It's just some business deal they are both trying to do."

"Hmm, I'm sure. I saw her on the cover of some tabloid magazine. That girl isn't built for business. She has pleasure written all over." Vanessa studied her perfectly manicured nails.

"Well, I know that everything between her and Blake is strictly professional. Once they finalize the details and close the deal, everything will be fine."

"And how long is that going to take?"

"Who knows? You and I both have experienced difficult clients."

"Yeah, but we never used sex to close the deal." She winked and took a sip of the Cabernet.

"Stop! It's not even like that." But a feeling of dread was beginning to fill my chest.
What if Vanessa's right?

"Listen, Christina, I like Blake, I really do. But I don't know. There is just something about him."

"Something like what?"

"Something off. Something secretive."

I rolled my eyes. I wasn't in the mood for any lectures. Yesterday was one of the best days of my life. I haven't been able to stop smiling since I got back home. I thought by telling Vanessa that we would both be grinning, but there was this weird tension as I told her the story. She said she was happy for me at first, but the more I thought about it, I didn't think she really was.
She's probably just jealous.

"I know this guy, Vanessa. He isn't just some random dude I had a great weekend with. This is
Blake
."

"What do we really know about Blake? He hid the fact that he was a billionaire for ten years. How do you hide something that huge for that long?"

"He was afraid that I'd throw myself at him for his money."

"I don't know." She shook her head. "I could understand that if you guys were only talking for a couple of years. But ten years, Christina? You mean to tell me that in ten years, he couldn't have told you the truth?"

"It's complicated."

"No, it's really simple. He likes to withhold the truth for his gain."

"You're looking too much into it."

"Or maybe you're not looking enough. Don't be entranced by good cock and green eyes."

I whipped around to glare at my best friend. She had her hands on her hips.

"I love you, Chrissy. You are like my sister and I would kill for you. I just don't want to see you get hurt."

"I know that."

"If everything he's saying is the truth, then I will gladly apologize and back off. But until then, I will be on his ass. He could have all the money in the world but he can't hide from the truth."

Her words were soaking in. I thought about the phone call. His eyes were forest green then. He was conflicted but was he telling the truth? I didn't know enough about his tell.

"I hear what you're saying, Vanessa."

"I'm going to do more research on Big Titty Blondie."

"What's going to be your source? Those tabloids at the supermarket?"

"And the blogs, magazines, and anything else I'm able to dig up." She smiled. "And hey, don't you knock those tabloids, they've been trying to find Elvis for years. They are this close." She showed me with her fingers.

"You're too much," I laughed, playfully smacking her hand. Yet for some reason, I couldn't shake the feeling that Vanessa could be right.

Chapter 13

Weeks went by and Blake and I tried to see each other as often as we could. His schedule was as busy as ever. Aside from the deal with the real estate mogul, he was launching six other mobile games. His company was as popular as ever. He was on the cover of Forbes and other prestigious magazines. During the day, we dealt with our work, and at night, we crashed at his place. He was often too tired to go out and I didn't like bugging him with constant requests. I just loved to be in his company.

"Close your eyes," he told me as we stepped into his building's elevator. I put my hands over my eyes. I heard the elevator ding and he took my arms and guided me somewhere. I heard him greet an unfamiliar man and I tried to listen for more conversation but they were very hush-hush. Suddenly, there was a rush of air and I realized that we were outside.

"Okay, you can open your eyes now." I lowered my hands and saw that we were on the roof of his building. There was a small intimate table, with candles and a glittering of lights that draped from the plants and railing. It looked like a dream.

"Wow" was all I could manage to say. I looked at the view and again, I was speechless. You could see the Verrazano Bridge light up against the night sky, the cars zooming from afar. Just a bunch of people living their lives and me up here having the time of mine. I kissed his cheek. "This is..." I couldn't even finish the sentence. I grabbed my chest and breathed deeply. My heart was beating a hundred miles a minute. Oddly enough, I felt my eyes well with tears. I blinked really fast because not only did I not want to cry in front of him, but it also took me a while to put on my makeup just right tonight. I know I'm usually not vain, but when he called saying to dress special, I decided to take it up an extra notch.

We ate and had a great time. I could barely contain myself. I was smiling like a lovestruck teenager. I was so consumed in how I felt, I didn't even hear him speak.

"What?" I said when I realized that I was daydreaming.

"I was simply saying that I wanted to apologize to you. I know you and I have decided to take things to another level, but I've been so busy with work. It hasn't been fair to you."

"No, no, I understand. Work can be hectic and you're trying to do something big."

"But that doesn't make you any less of a priority." I smiled at him. "There will be big changes," he said and looked away from me. For the first time I saw Blake, really saw him, and realized that his eyes had been a dark green all night. His smile was strained. My chest constricted.
Is he going to break up with me?
"I'm sorry," he finished softly.
