“Do that again,” she whispered.

Gladly,
I thought as I switched nipples and sucked the other one while my fingers twisted and turned her other nipple covered in my saliva. I bit down harder and drew the tiniest bit of blood before I licked away and sucked again on her nipple.

She moaned out loud and began writhing between the sheets. “Baby, I’ve just begun. I need you to settle down—”

“I need you inside me, babe,” she said, her voice husky with desire and want.

“Not yet.”

I kissed down her beautiful body, sticking my finger into her belly button. She arched for me again and I swore if she arched anymore, she’d break her back. Liv was athletic but her desire to have my cock in her wouldn’t stop me from eating her out, one of the past times I enjoyed doing to her.

I spread her legs and her naked pussy, except for that damn Brazilian wax, glistened with juices. I opened her wide and began to feast on her clit, my tongue lapping against her hard and she moaned again, grabbing the bed sheets and trying to stay somewhat still while I continued my ministrations.

Now that she wasn’t a virgin anymore, I could really get to work. My tongue led a path of pleasure down to her glory hole while I stuck my tongue inside her and began to fuck her with it.

“Fuck, slide two fingers in my asshole,” she mumbled.

I did as asked and she fucked my face with her pussy until I replaced my tongue with another two fingers, pushing them inside her pussy and stroking her G-spot while I feasted on her clit with my mouth and tongue. She bucked under me and before I knew it, she came, all over my fingers while I still applied pressure on her clit with my lips and tongue.

As I removed my fingers, she flipped onto her stomach, her beautiful pussy and ass up in the air. “Fuck me, Shaw, and make it rough. I want to hurt and feel good at the same time.”

Baby girl didn’t have to ask me twice as I slid my cock inside of her and began to pump hard and fast inside her. I grabbed her, waist and pulled her to me as I fucked her the way she’d asked me to. My cock felt like steel as I plundered her depths but she remained tight and slick.

“Fuck, yes, that’s it,” Liv moaned. “Harder.”

If I thrust inside her any harder, I feared I would break her in two but I carried out her wishes and pistoned inside her so fast, my dick felt like it was gonna explode. She took every thrust, and as the juices from her pussy slid down her thighs, I couldn’t help wanting to withdraw just so I could lick them up.

Her pussy had me in a vice, and I felt like I’d found nirvana inside her body; it was a beautiful place. Everything was stunning and ultraviolet when I was inside Liv. She took my black and white world and somehow managed to turn it Technicolor, including the way I couldn’t stay away from being inside her, wanting her all the time yet denying myself.

“I’m gonna cum again, Shaw!”

I welcomed another orgasm from her where I would be drenched in the wetness of her pussy while I made my own significant contribution.

“Come for me, baby. Come for your honey,” I begged.

She came as she flexed her sweet pussy around my cock, damn near cutting off the circulation but milked an orgasm from me that was so powerful, I closed my eyes and saw stars and motes of color—purple, blue, gold—as my cum left my body and flooded into hers.

My heart was in my throat it seemed as I breathed heavily and held on to her, trying to slow my breathing down. No doubt about it, Liv would be the death of me. We had this natural sexual chemistry that no matter how hard I tried to deny, it held me captive, both drowning me and yet saving me at the same time. I couldn’t imagine another woman wrapped around my cock because I knew it wouldn’t be the same. She was the only woman for me.

As I let go of her waist and moved to the other side of the bed where there was no damp spot, she followed me and wrapped her arms around my neck.

“I love you, baby,” she purred like a kitten before she used my chest as her personal pillow and fell asleep.

“I love you too, babe.” I stroked her silky hair before my hands settled around her slim waist. “I can’t breathe without you, babe, but you already know that, don’t you?”

“Yes,” she mumbled in her sleep-induced state.

“Then don’t you ever fuckin’ threaten to leave me again. I swear to God, I will hunt your ass down and you’ll never have another other than me. You’ll never be rid of me, Liv.”

“I know that,” she said as she opened her sleepy eyes. “That’s why I always get my way when it comes to you.” Liv’s smile held a hidden smirk but at this point, I didn’t give a shit. I just wanted her to promise to never leave me.

In the words she’d spoken, she’d done just that. It relaxed me and allowed me to drift off to sleep with her in my arms.

T
he most unimaginable sin I could commit against Shaw was to hurt him. I loved him—was in love with him—but wouldn’t dare recognize that fact until he said the same to me.

Last night he proved how much he needed me in his life, and that he was indeed in love with me though I had some wicked bruises around my hips to show how deep his love was for me.

After a shower and dressing in casual clothes, which consisted of a pair of jeans that actually covered my ass when I sat down and a black polo shirt. Shaw decided on a pair of black jeans—not tight yet not loose enough to fall off his ass—and a Korn t-shirt.

We both settled for steel-toed shitkickers for shoes and after I brushed my hair out, we were on our way to the nearest Ford Dealership, which happened to be in the New Orleans suburb of Kenner.

LaMarque Ford had an excellent selection but I wasn’t really interested in anything other than a Ford Explorer. My only wishes was for it to be an all-wheel drive and it had Sirius radio, which was a given.

After speaking with the finance manager, I was given my pick of the lot after I set down five thousand in cash and agreed to pay the rest of the car off in cash that day with a couple different cards. That would include my American Express, which would be charged twenty thousand dollars, my Chase Preferred Sapphire account that would be charged ten thousand dollars, and my Discover Credit card which would be charged yet an additional ten thousand. I was actually getting away with paying much lower than the price of the truck due to the fact that they didn’t see cash transactions everyday and they were more than happy to take my money.

I chose one in Metallic, a gray so dark it could have been called midnight with a gorgeous sheen to it. The moment I signed all my paperwork, alerted the dealer to send all my registration paperwork to a small town in Northern Nevada, Shaw helped me but the third back seat down and we transferred my purchases into the vehicle.

Shaw looked a bit sheepish as he approached me. “I ain’t trying to get a rise out of you but . . . this isn’t goodbye, is it?”

“No, and just to prove I mean what I say, transfer half your purchases in my vehicle. I’m not going anywhere, and I meant it. We’ll be apart for about a week while I straighten all this shit out and then, we can go where ever we please, and it doesn’t have to be goddamn Mexico either.” I caressed his cheeks that felt rough against my palms since he hadn’t bothered to shave that day. “But if you want to go down there and chill for a bit, I understand. I told you I’d meet you down there. Probably not in this ride but I can fly to San Diego, rent a Jeep and drive on over to the border. We’ll spend some time in Baja but in the end, it can’t be our final destination.”

“Why?” His crystal blue eyes were determined and yet they were staring directly at me.

“I don’t want our children raised down there. I want them with family—something neither of us can say we’ve had much of. I want them to know what it’s like to be protected and know that they have a home, two loving parents and an extended family that would never let anything happen to them. Deep in my heart, Shaw, I know you want that too so don’t try to act like the tough guy.” I kissed his mouth sweetly before we separated.

“So where are we going now?”

I’d gotten into my new Explorer, loving that new car smell. “We’re going to find some place that overcharges for parking around the French Quarter and go have ourselves a good time.” I winked at him and he pulled out of the dealership with me close behind.

lthough the Explorer was a full size SUV, it handled like a dream and I knew I would be quite comfortable the rest of the way to Nevada.

Due to my paranoia, Shaw parked his Charger in one car lot and jumped into my vehicle. We found parking for it elsewhere. I hadn’t seen any tails since Nashville but if they had a tracker on his Charger, they knew where we were, and could therefore take their time with finding us.

Part of me wanted to ask Shaw if he would just abandon the Charger and come with me but I knew he would say no. He had too much pride and even an inkling of a thought that he was being dependent on me would make his skin crawl. He’d always been the man of his family, and that wasn’t going to change any time soon. He’d rather be shot than to allow me to take the lead. I both loved and hated that about him.

The first stop we made was dinner at Muriel’s Jackson Square in the French Quarter. The wine was good and the food was even better. I’d almost forgotten what actual food tasted like since we’d subsisted on fast food junk for the past few days. It was actually nice to enjoy a meal where nothing was fried and everything was made to order.

I looked at him as I devoured my appetizer of escargots Orleans while he’d opted for gulf shrimp Pontalba.

“Oh my God! These are so good. Wanna taste?” I teased?

“Nope. You can keep your snails all to yourself.”

“Come on, you big pussy, they taste like seafood for God’s sake.”

He opened his mouth to reply and I stuffed a piece of escargot in his mouth.

“Remember, we’re in polite company, you can’t spit it out,” I murmured as he was forced to chew.

“Mmm, those are good. Wanna trade?”

We both switched dishes and I enjoyed every bit of his gulf shrimp while he devoured the last four of my escargots like a starving man from an episode of
Survivor
.

By the time we reached our main course—I chose slow roasted duck while he feasted on wood grilled filet of beef. I don’t think either of us had been so satisfied with anything other than the sex we’d had that morning. It wasn’t anything I was likely to forget any time soon.

“So, what do you think?” I asked after swallowing a piece of savory duck.

“I think my girl has excellent taste when it comes to food.”

“Here I should—my grandmother was Creole after all. Just on the darker end of the spectrum but she would have smacked someone if they tried to deny her heritage. I absolutely enjoy French food—the way it is so rich yet so perfect for the palette. Add a nice wine—Cabernet Sauvignon . . . Pinot Gris—and you’ll think you’ve got your own piece of heaven.”

“Well, I can’t complain. The food was almost as good as eating you out this morning,” Shaw leaned over and whispered to me.

“You’ve got a very dirty mouth—did you know that?”

“Never said I was
pristine
, Ms. Callahan. You want a clean-cut man, you best hook yourself up with a preacher’s son while we’re down here in the sticks—”

“You do realize that most Creoles and Cajuns are Catholic? They might practice a little hoodoo or voodoo on the side but even that has roots in Catholicism, just like Santeria.”

“But the difference is the tribes that have actually mixed their spiritual religion with Catholicism. Hoodoo is usually performed for good. Voodoo can be either but most people think it’s only for bad shit,” Shaw began as he wiped his mouth before swigging from his wine. “Now Santeria . . . you don’t want to know about that. It’s dangerous—a mixture of worshipping the dark gods, African spirituality and Catholicism. No one should fall to one of their spells but like any other abnormal practice that perverts the name of Christ, it can’t hurt you if you don’t believe in it.”

“My, my, my, Professor Shaw—you know more about Santeria than I do.”

“It’s not practiced widely in the States—mostly Central and South America but it has also been found to be practiced as far north as parts of Mexico too. And I’m not showin’ off, just tellin’ you what a few Dominicans I was in Walpole had to say about it. They knew people who did practice it and they always got this faraway look in their eyes as if the Devil himself were watching them. It always gave me the creeps.”

Our bill arrived and Shaw set down enough money to cover it plus a fat tip for our waitress. As we stood and began to walk out the restaurant, I placed my head on his shoulder.

“I’m tired, lazy and full. Wanna go back to the hotel se we can work this off in bed?”

“I was thinking a club instead. There’s one here called Club Nouveau. It’s not any of that old school New Orleans jazz or blues. It’s a dance club and it’s supposed to be really nice.” Shaw spun me around. “I thought the best place to work off the food would be on the dance floor. And then, we can go back to the hotel room and fuck like bunnies but neither of us will be full or uncomfortable.”

“Deal,” I whispered as he grabbed me around the waist and we walked along the French Quarter.

The hairs on my arm stood on end and that feeling of a tingle reached the back of my neck. I looked behind us warily but there was nothing but tourists. No men in the Russian go-to gangsta wardrobe of tracksuits and shit-kickers. No guys who looked like Boris or Yuri. I really needed to calm down if I was going to enjoy the rest of our night out.

“What’s the matter, baby? You okay? Spot anything suspicious?” Shaw’s tone was playful but he was using it to hide his own suspicions.

“I think Nashville has permanently freaked me out, babe.” I smiled at him before I kissed his neck. “I just don’t understand why I have the heebie-jeebies if everything is fine. Maybe it was that story about Santeria. All the sudden, I just feel like we aren’t safe anywhere.”

“In part, you’re right. Not until we get somewhere we can be safe.” He stopped me in the middle of the sidewalk, the traffic of people walking around us. “You know I’m here, right? And I don’t go anywhere without my best friend, Nine Millimeter.”

“You better hope they don’t have walk through security at this club—”

“They don’t. It’s kind of exclusive so the fee to get in is outrageous and kind of turns away most tourists and undesirables.”

I bit my bottom lip, something I rarely did unless I was particularly nervous. “All right, let’s go.”
