Beau walked into the lounge at Clear Creek, which Jackie recently renovated as a birthday present. She used the same decorator who did his office so it was rustic but elegant. The heavy wood décor and mounted stags on the walls gave it a clubby feel.

“Hey gentlemen, mind if I join you.” Beau approached a table of old friends whom he had not seen in years. Many of them were from his days in Boulder, Colorado.

“We knew you’d come by. I speak for everyone when I give you my condolences. Jason Savage lived a good life. We’re honored to be here so we can celebrate his life, which was pretty spectacular. Let us know if there’s anything we can do for ya.” Johnathan (Jono) Trout was both a business associate and friend. He owned a commercial real-estate firm.

“There is something I need from you guys.” Beau said and they all looked at him. “I need you to get me really drunk.”

They roared, raised their glasses and flagged down the server.

“What can I bring you Mr. Savage?”

“I want bottles of my finest bourbon from the cellar and anything else my friends want. Their money is no good this weekend. I’ll take care of your tip after they all leave.”

The mood was jubilant. The men ate and drank like kings and it was exactly what Beau had in mind when he left the ranch.

“How’s married life Beau? I finally get to meet Jackie. It’s about time you settled down and you sure jumped into family life with both feet with a little one; it’s only one, right?” Jono asked.

“Yeah, Jono. My son JB is all for now. I’ve had quite a few lifestyle adjustments in the past few years so I think Jackie and I are in a holding pattern. My wife and son are my everything Jono. I can’t wait for you to meet em. Did I mention Jackie’s hot?”

“I’m sure she is Beau. Is she as hot as what just walked in the door?”

Tina and Sasha stopped in for a drink. Of course, Tina thought Beau would be in the bar. She knew where he went when he was stressed. She was wearing a short wrap-dress. The cinnamon shade went well he her golden hair, which she was wearing down with soft curls. Beau had forgotten how tall she was and she had never looked better. She smiled and started walking towards Jono and Beau. Sasha followed and although she was lovely, all eyes were on Tina Dorsette.

“It has been forever Beau. My condolences on the death of Pops. I know he meant the world to you and I’m sorry that it took this for us to see each other again.” Tina gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek then proceeded to pick up his left hand. “What the hell is this?”

“You must have heard that I got married. I know you and nothing flies under your radar.”

“I did hear but seeing you wearing a wedding bad is still shocking. I see that I spent too much time in Paris and you didn’t wait for me. Is your wife here with you tonight?”

“No, Jackie’s at home with our son JB. I’m having what you could call a boy’s night out.”

“No girls allowed?” Tina asked coyly.

“I think I can make an exception. Hello Sasha. Nice to see you two still hang out. Why don’t you both join me and I’ll show off photos of my little cowboy. Jason Beauregard Savage is going to be a lady killer.”

“Just like his Daddy I’m sure.”

“That was the old Beau Savage. I’ve grown up Tina and my playboy days were put behind me the day I met Jackie. Excuse me ladies while I have a special bottle of Champagne and three glasses brought to our table.”

As soon as Beau walked away, Trina pulled Sasha in so she could whisper in her ear.

“Thanks for your help Sasha but I can handle things from here. I’ll say you weren’t feeling well.”

Beau returned to the table.

“What happened to Sasha?”

“She wasn’t feeling well so it looks as if it’s just the two of us. It gives us an opportunity to reminisce about the old days in Paris. I don’t need to look at pictures of BJ and Jacquelyn.”

“You mean JB and Jackie. She’s named after her uncle Jack and my son is named after my Grandfather. We can talk of Paris of course but remind me to call Jackie within the hour. She has been working hard to plan Pops’ funeral so I’m sure she going to bed early.”

Beau and Tina began reminiscing and ordered a second bottle of champagne. His phone was on silent but Trina saw Jackie calling so she covered the phone with a napkin and placed it out of sight. Trina kicked off her stiletto and began rubbing Beau’s leg with her toes eventually reaching his crotch where she played with him until he was hard.

With slurred words, Beau protested Tina’s flirtation. “You’re an amazing woman Tina and words can’t express how good you feel but this is wrong. I’m a married man.”

“We’re just playing Beau. I’m sure Jackie’s legs aren’t as long as mine. Remember what I can do with theses gams? Spend the night with me Beau. It would be in honor of your Grandfather. I’ve heard stories about him in the past and he would approve.”

“Pops loved Jackie. I have plans to stay here tonight alone in my room. Walk me to my room and we’ll share a kiss goodnight. I have to be on my game tomorrow and I can tell already that I’m gonna feel like shit.”

“Where’s your room Beau. I’ll make sure you get to bed.”

“I have the entire top floor. I need my phone, I have to call Jackie.”

“No worries Beau. I have everything taken care of.”

They were the last ones in the lounge and the wait staff was waiting for them to leave. They knew Jackie well and hated what they were seeing. They walked to the elevator arm in arm while they were laughing.

“Give me your key card and I’ll make sure you get to bed.”

Tina pushed open the door and with a pull of her sash her dress was on the floor. It was the last thing Beau Savage remembered.

At the Wandering Bison Ranch Jackie was growing anxious. She understood him not answering the phone while he was out with the boys and they agreed he should not drive home. Now it was 9am and Jackie had still not heard from her husband. The funeral was at one and they needed to be there at least an hour early. She was thankful she had Eve to help with JB and that she had experience with event planning. Something always went wrong and she had a back-up plan; except this time.

“I want Daddy.” JB screamed. He was having a meltdown at the worst possible time. “Daddy, Daddy, Daddy.” He stomped his feet.

“I’ll take care of JB Mrs. Savage. You should shower and get dressed. I’m sure Mr. Savage will burst through the door any minute.”

A frantic Jackie stepped into a hot shower in the hopes that it might relax her.

Beau woke with a throbbing headache. He had no clothes on and he found himself lying next to Tina Dorsette who was also naked.

Shit, what the hell did I do?

Beau looked around to find his suite absolutely trashed. The jacuzzi was filled with bubbles and the contents of the mini bar were scattered on the floor. The bedding from the other rooms was on the sitting room floor and the sound system was playing soft jazz. Tina’s hand tugged at his elbow.

“Last night was one for the ages Beau. I thought you were kinky in Paris but you took it to another level. Don’t get me wrong Lover. I enjoyed it as much as you did and next time I’ll be ready for you. I could lay here all day and bask in the afterglow but you and I have to go to a funeral.”

“I remember nothing Tina and I have to get home to my wife ASAP. My wife! This was wrong on so many levels. How could you have let me do this when you knew I was a married man? This will never happen again and I’ll just have to chalk it up to grief. Not a word Tina.” Beau shook his finger in anger.

“I guess this means the invitation to your chalet in St. Moritz is off? You may not remember Beau, but you were the aggressor last night. The servers saw us leave together last night and you had your paws all over me. My friend Sasha saw us in the corridor and I told her she could come in while I put you to bed but you insisted she leave. Remember that?”

“No, like I said, I remember nothing and last night was a mistake. You’re a beautiful woman Tina and you should be with someone who’s available. I love my wife and my son so we’ll act like nothing happened last night.”

“You know you’re a real asshole Beau. I hate being used by a pig like you.”

Tina threw on her dress and carried her shoes as she walked to the elevator. Beau sat on the edge of the bed and cried with his head in his hands. He wasn’t sure if they were tears of guilt or of grief. There was a knock at the door.

“I thought. …Oh, yes.”

“Found your cellphone in the lounge sir. Can I bring breakfast to your room Mr. Savage?”

Beau looked at his nametag. “No Pierre, but you can do me a favor that requires the utmost discretion. Can you please have this room cleaned and allow no one to know that I stayed here last night or that I asked you to clean it. I’ll include something extra in your paycheck.”

“Certainly sir. I’ll have it done by this afternoon.” Pierre smiled and disappeared.

Before taking a shower, Beau listened to the messages left by Jackie.

“Hey Beau. I love you and I miss you. This place is lonely without you and I can’t wait to have you back in my arms.”

“Hey babe. This bed is the loneliest place on earth without you.”

“Beau, it’s 6am. Wanted to say good morning before Master Savage starts singing his tune.”

“Beau, it’s 8:30. Please come home I’m starting to worry. I love you.”

Beau took a quick shower and threw on his pants. He couldn’t wear the same shirt because it smelled like booze and perfume. He hopped in his Mustang with the top down and prayed to God that he wouldn’t get caught. Maybe he had to make a stupid mistake to know how much he loved Jackie. Fuck, Beau, Stop trying to rationalize a messed up situation. He spoke to himself.

He called Jackie when he was almost home.

“Jackie it’s me. I’m on my way home. Sorry, rough night.”

“I have everything under control. Eve’s with JB and she’s bringing him to the church. Remind me to give that woman a raise because she has earned double what I pay her. We have an hour alone in the house before we have to leave for the church. Get your ass home Savage and we can make the best of our solitude.”

“Oh, yeah. Can’t wait Jackie. I’ll be home in a few minutes.”

It was a good thing longevity ran in his family because otherwise he would drop dead of a heart attack. His wife wanted a quickie after the night he just had? There was no way he could get out of it so he pushed on the gas. He beeped twice and swallowed hard before he walked in the house.

Beau mustered up his enthusiasm before opening the door to find Jackie waiting for him. Her jet-black hair was still damp from the shower and she was wearing only a leopard print thong. He loved Jackie’s toned petite figure as opposed to Tina’ Amazonian skinny frame.

“I need this Beau. I’m so glad I’m married to you and that I can count on you for sex whenever and wherever I want. I have been Mommy and Mrs. Savage for days and I need to be your lover Jackie. Mmm, you smell nice. I recognize the body wash because I picked it out for the guest rooms at the resort.”

“You have an excellent nose Jackie,” He said as he grabbed her butt and lifted Jackie so her legs were laced behind his back.

“I have a keen sense of smell. I’d smell her if you were ever with another woman but that’s nothing I have to worry about — right?”

“Never Jackie not when I have you at home waiting for me wearing next to nothing.”

Beau ran his hand from her neck down between her boobs past her naval to her wet pussy.

“Have at it Beau. I’m in the mood to be submissive. Touch me like you mean it and let’s see if you’re strong enough to toss me around like a ragdoll.”

He pushed his hand inside of her deep and hard until she screamed with pleasure and was writhing uncontrollably. Beau placed his hands around her ankles, threw her tight legs over his shoulders and put his head in her crotch. He laid his head on her taught tummy when he was finished and felt as if he had just run a marathon.

“That was exactly what I needed Beau. I plan to breeze through the remainder of the day with a broad smile on my face. That was hot. I don’t know if I’ve ever climaxed that way before. I left you swimming in a puddle of my juices so I’m afraid we both have to shower again.”

“It was worth it. Is everything all set for the funeral?” Beau asked.

“It is. We have the funeral followed by the graveside ceremony and then we throw open our doors for a celebration of life. This was more complicated than planning our wedding and I had only days to plan. That’s the problem with funerals; can’t plan for exactly when they’ll take place. Did you see Jono last night?”

“Who? Oh yeah. Jono’s great and he can’t wait to meet you and JB. He wasn’t able to come to our wedding because he was in Thailand.”

“Was anyone else interesting at the resort?” Jackie asked innocently.

“No one worth mentioning. Rather there were too many people to mention because everyone comes out for a funeral. The wealthier the person the larger the crowd. Pops would hate it because he was a man who preferred to fly under the radar.”

“This weekend is a big deal Beau but it’s too late to change things now. Eve is meeting us there with our little cowboy. A two year old in a suit and a cowboy hat — wait to you see him. He’s a mini-Beau Savage.”

“Nothing great about being me. I hope he has more of your traits than mine. He can’t go wrong in life if he does.”

“That’s a weird comment. Don’t insult the man I love. It’s unlike you to put yourself down and we need your strength now more than ever.”

The funeral went off without a hitch. Beau gave a heartfelt eulogy so that there was hardly a dry eye in the church. JB was the star in many ways. He was the young heir to an enormous fortune and he was treated differently even though he was only 2-years old. Jackie and Beau stood at the doors of the church as people passed through. Many of them would be at the celebration at the ranch so the line moved quickly.

Beau spied Tina with Sasha getting ready to leave their pew. He could only guess what they were saying but it was likely about him. Beau started to perspire and he moved closer to his wife so anyone watching knew he was deeply in love with Jackie.
