Jack has stayed involved in the community for more than thirty years as a member of the board of directors for the Conshohocken Fellowship House and a committee member for Mayor Robert Frost and the Mayor's Special Events Committee. He has played active roles over the years in the Conshohocken Soapbox Derby, the Conshohocken Car Show and dozens of other organizations, including the Conshohocken Merchants Association.

Jack is the owner of Coll's Custom Framing and Photography Shop, located on Fayette Street in Conshohocken, working with his son Brian. Brian has co-written a couple of books with his father.

For nearly twenty-five years, Jack has given slide show presentations on the history of Conshohocken to dozens of organizations in Montgomery County and has been a speaker at the local schools for both history and career days. In the past, Jack has taught students in the classrooms and given seminars on the art of photography.
