Chapter Sixteen - Lucas

I was super pumped the next day and I was ready to whip Lopez’s ass.  I’d had a great night with Kinsley and I was looking forward to spending time with her the following night.  First I had to get my win out of the way and then I was free to be all about Kinsley for a while.

The fight was scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m. and by 7:15 I could hardly stand still.  All I could think about was catching Lopez off guard with my first kick and I was ready to get started.  Zach pumped me up with the awesome speech he gave me before each fight and he made sure I had my head in the fight and not anywhere else.  There was nothing clouding my thoughts except visions of Lopez tapping out in the ring.

We were the last names on the card which meant they saved the best for last.  When our names were finally called I was ready to kick ass.  They announced Lopez and then they announced me.

“Are you ready for The Renegade?!  I said are you ready for The Renegade?!”  The announcer was yelling in the mic at the top of his lungs.

The crowd was on their feet and I could barely hear my thoughts the cheers were so loud.

Lopez danced around me, which pissed me off, so I quickly brought him down with a swift kick to his right leg.  It took a few seconds for him to get up and I could see that he wasn’t expecting that.  He swung left and I ducked and clocked him in his stomach followed with an uppercut to the jaw.  He stumbled and I danced back and forth waiting for him to recover.  It was time for me to let him get a couple of good shots in because I wanted to make sure the crowd had a good show.  I could easily have kicked his ass and won within the next five minutes, but people would be pissed and would feel like they paid a lot of money for nothing.

I braced myself for a few hits and Lopez swung and got me in the side and then right in the jaw.  I doubled over, making the audience think he had really hurt me, and decided to let him get in a couple more before I finished him.  He hit me in the stomach and kicked me in the thigh but with the training Zach had taught me, it didn’t hurt one bit.  My body was as tough as Teflon and after that kick it was time to let him have it.

I could tell that he was feeling a bit cocky and he dropped his defenses for a second, and that is when I roared in like a tornado.  I hit all of the key vulnerable spots; stomach, throat, thigh, kidneys, and face and it didn’t stop.  I went at him with one hit or kick after another and within two minutes Lopez tapped out.  The crowd cheered as I was declared the winner and as I gazed out at everyone, Kinsley’s gorgeous green eyes were smiling at me from the front row.  They were the prettiest eyes I had ever seen and I felt like a million bucks as those sparklers stared back at me.

Zach ushered me back into my dressing room and the doctor stopped by to check me out after he checked on Lopez.

“Is he okay?”  I always asked about my opponents because while I always wanted to win, I never wanted to kill anybody.

“He’s fine, nothing is broken.  His eye will be swollen shut for a while and he’ll have some nasty bruising, but he’ll heal in a couple of weeks.  You on the other hand don’t look like you were in a fight at all.  A nice ice bath tonight will have you feeling great tomorrow.”

“Thanks doc.”

As soon as he left, Zach gave me a fist bump and rubbed my shoulder.

“That’s my boy!  I knew you could do this.  You continue like this Lucas and you are going to be unstoppable all over the world!”

“Thanks man.  Hey, you’re part of the reason I’m so good.  Without your training I know I wouldn’t be here so
we
are going to be unstoppable all over the world!”

“For sure, dude!”

“Hey, will you do me a favor?”

“Yeah, anything.”

“Will you go get Kinsley and bring her back here?  She was sitting front row center, so she’s probably around there somewhere.”

“No problem.  Be back in a flash!”

Two minutes later there was a knock at my door and when I opened it, she took my breath away.  I don’t know if it was because the pressure of the fight was over, or if it was because I knew we would have uninterrupted, stress free time together the next night, but I felt a different level of happiness in that moment.  I couldn’t wait to soak in the ice bath and move on to the next day.

“You were amazing out there, Lucas.  I was completely mesmerized.  Did you get hurt when he hit you?”

“Nah, it was part of the show.  I had to let the audience think he was winning because that makes for a much more entertaining fight.”

“So you knew you could beat him?”

“Yep, without question.”

She cocked her head to the side and I could see the worry on her face.  “How long does it take for you to know that?”

“Not to sound cocky, but I know it the second I get in the ring.  Losing is not an option.”

“Well, I’m really happy you didn’t lose tonight and I’m even happier that you didn’t get hurt.”

I pulled her toward me and wrapped my arms around her waist as I stared into her gorgeous eyes.

“I’m really happy you’re here and that you watched the fight.  Thanks.”

I gently kissed her lips lingering for just a couple of seconds.  I didn’t want to get myself worked up and I knew if the kiss had lasted any longer I wouldn’t be able to stop.  I couldn’t wait to be with her, but it wasn’t going to happen in my dressing room.  She deserved better than that.

She smiled at me and my heart melted.  “You’re welcome.”  She wrapped her arms around my neck and held me close.  “I really am happy you weren’t hurt, Lucas.  The doctor checked you out, right?”

“Yep.  He said an ice bath and some rest and I should be good as new tomorrow.”

“Okay, well I don’t want to hold you up so I better get going.  Do what you need to do, soak in your ice bath and I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“Okay.  I will swing by your room, I mean come across the hall,” I gave her a quick wink and a smile, “around 5:00 and we can grab an early dinner, if that’s okay.”

“Yeah, that sounds great.”

“Okay good, because after dinner I would love to go for a walk with you on the beach our last night here.”

She gave me a huge grin and, man, the way she looked at me made me feel like a million bucks.

“Sounds perfect.”  She rested her hand on my shoulders and gave me a gentle peck on the lips.  “I’ll see you tomorrow.”

When the door closed behind her I ran my hands through my hair and let out a deep sigh.  Five o’clock the next day could not come fast enough.

Chapter Seventeen - Kinsley

I don’t think I had ever been more nervous and excited at the same time for a date in my life.  I must have checked myself in the mirror 50 times before I felt I looked perfect.  I finally decided on a strapless black dress and strappy black heels and decided to flat iron my hair straight.

Sophie peeked her head in the bathroom as I rubbed a little bit of anti-frizz serum through my hair.

“Kinsley, you look gorgeous!  Lucas is not going to be able to keep his hands off of you!”

I gave her a sly grin.  “I hope not!”

Her eyes got as big as saucers.  “I want ALL of the details tomorrow, I mean it!”

I furrowed my brows in confusion.  “Tomorrow?  What makes you think I won’t be home tonight?”

She gave me a wicked grin.  “
I
won’t be home tonight!”

“Oh, hot date with Paul, huh?”

“Yep, I am so bummed that I have to leave him tomorrow.  I never thought I would actually fall for someone here.  My whole thing was to come here, get laid, and go home a happy camper.  Now I really like the guy.”

She looked sad and I felt bad for her.

“”Where is he from again?”

“Some small town in Massachusetts.  I’m sure I’ll never see him again.”

“You don’t know that, Sophie.  Why don’t you just focus on enjoying your last night with him and just see where things go after we leave.  You never know what could happen.”

She brightened up a little bit.  “You’re right, maybe he’ll come see me in Chicago.”

“Well there are these things called airplanes so I’m sure you can work something out.  Don’t get too far ahead of yourself, though.  Just live in the moment.”

“You’re right.  Well I better hop in the shower.  He’ll be here in an hour and I still have no idea what I am going to wear.  Have fun tonight!”

I giggled as I walked out of the bathroom and she went in.  “You too!”

Five minutes later there was a knock at our door and I was a nervous Nelly.  I grabbed my purse, checked my look one last time in the hall mirror and opened the door to male perfection.  Lucas was so fucking beautiful.  His pearly whites were on full display for me.

“Hi, gorgeous,” his velvety deep voice floated into my room.  I wanted to melt right there.

“Hi, handsome.”  I couldn’t stop smiling at him.

“You look stunning, Kinsley.  I like your hair like that.”

“Thank you.  You look nice, too.”  He did.  He looked amazing, and I really wanted to pinch myself to make sure it was all really happening.

“I was able to get reservations for us at 5:30 so we better get going.”

The restaurant was a short cab ride away and once we were seated Lucas reached across the table and grabbed my hand, gently rubbing it with his thumb.

“Did you have a good day?”

“Yeah, Sophie and I laid out this morning and then we packed this afternoon.”

“Packed?  What time are you guys leaving tomorrow?”

“Our flight is at 2:00 p.m.  What time are you leaving?”

“I take off at 1:10 p.m., a few minutes before you.”

Our food arrived and before I knew it I had cleaned my plate.  It was delicious.

“It’s hard to believe we are leaving this place tomorrow.”  He sounded a bit wistful as he looked around.

I was quiet for a minute and looked at the floor as the reality sank in that it was our last night together in Mexico.

“Are you okay?”  Concern clouded his voice.

I looked up at him and saw worry written all over his face.

“Yes, it just sucks that my vacation is about to be over.”

“I know.  Do you want to go take a walk on the beach?”

“Sure, I would love to.”

“We can order dessert from room service a little bit later if you want.”

I smiled at him.  “Okay, sounds good.”

The restaurant was not far from the beach so we were there in a matter of minutes.  I slipped off my shoes so my toes could sink into the cool, powdery white sand and Lucas laced his fingers through mine.  We strolled along in silence for a few minutes, listening to the soothing sound of the waves rushing to meet the shore and I was starting to feel really bummed that our time together was ending.

“You have a slight change of plans for tomorrow, Kinsley.  I have a bit of a surprise for you."

I instantly perked up and looked at him with a big smile and eager eyes. He chuckled and gently caressed my cheek.

"You are so adorable. The surprise is that we are going to be able to spend a little bit more time together after tonight."

Was he thinking of asking me out on a date when we got home? Had he already planned a date for us in Chicago? My mind started to run with the idea and I felt so excited that he was making plans to see me when we got home. It let me know that our time in Mexico was real and he wanted more. I was getting way ahead of myself and had to reel it in.
Kinsley, listen, Lucas is saying something to you.

“The plane will be ready to take off at 1:10, so you guys should be ready to go by 11:30 because our car will pick us up at the hotel at that time.”

Wait, what?  What did I miss?

I must have had the most confused look on my face because he gave one right back to me.

“Is something wrong?”

I felt so silly telling him I didn’t hear a word he said but I had to let him know because it sounded like he was making some kind of plan for us.

“I, I…I think I missed what you said,” I stammered.

A soft chuckle escaped his lips.  “I said we will be able to spend a little bit more time together because I have arranged for you and Sophie to fly back home on the private plane with me and Zach.”

You literally could have knocked me over with a feather.

“Really?”

“Yes.”

“Thank you, Lucas.  That is so sweet of you.”

He took a step toward me and gently caressed my cheek.  “You’re welcome.  I want to spend as much time with you as possible while we are still in our bubble away from everything back home.”

“Speaking of back home, how are we going to handle this, Lucas?  What are we going to tell our parents?”

He let out a deep sigh and I could see his wheels turning as he looked out over the ocean and then back at me.  “Honestly Kinsley, I don’t know.  I knew this would happen with us at some point but I guess I never really thought about what to do after it happened.”

“Wait, what do you mean you knew this would happen at some point?”

He took another step toward me, closing any gap that might have remained, and gently held my face in his hands, his eyes searching mine.

“I knew the second I laid eyes on you that we were meant to be together.  I just was waiting for the perfect time to act on it.  This trip turned out to be the perfect time.  Don’t worry about our parents.  We’ll figure something out.  I want to be with you and there is nothing they can do to stop that.”

I didn’t know what to say to that because I totally didn’t expect it so I stood there speechless.  Then something incredible happened.  Lucas Ryan, the cocky, arrogant bad boy looked worried as his eyes searched mine.

“Did I just scare you off?”

It was kind of cute seeing him like that for once.  I could really see that he meant what he had just said to me.

“No.  I just didn’t expect to hear you say how you feel, that’s all.”  I gently placed my hand on his cheek.  “I feel the same way.  I really don’t want things to get screwed up between us when we get home.”

He pulled me into his arms and as I inhaled his scent and felt those strong arms around me, all I could think about was feeling his hands and mouth all over my body.  It was our last night together in paradise and I was ready to be with Lucas.  I threw all caution out the window and decided I was going to go with my heart and not play any games.  Just when I was going to tell him I wanted to be with him, he looked at me and gently caressed my cheek.

“Let’s go back to my room.”  His voice was laced with lust and I knew that look.  It was the look of a man who was ready to devour a woman in every way and I did not hesitate to say okay.

As soon as his door closed behind me, Lucas pinned me against the wall and dipped his mouth down to lick the sensitive flesh below my ear.

“You are so damned sexy, I want you so badly, Kinsley,” he whispered.

He had barely touched me and I could feel my nipples getting hard from just being close to him.  His hand slowly trailed down my side to my hip, slipping around to caress my ass as his tongue ran along my jawline over to my lips.  He left a ring of fire as his tongue swept over my lips.  I wrapped my arms around his neck and he pulled me closer, his hard length pressing against my thigh.  He buried his face in my neck and flicked my earlobe with his tongue as he let out a low growl.

“Mmmm, you smell so good.”

I raked my fingers through his hair and whispered in his ear.

“You
feel
so good.”

Another growl escaped his lips as he grabbed my ass with both hands pressing me into his dick.

“This ass is unbelievable.”

I ran my hands down his back as I pressed my tits against his chest and whispered in his ear.

“It’s all for you, baby.”

Lucas looked at me, the lust brimming in his eyes, and his lips came crashing down on mine.  His tongue quickly sought out my own and the kiss was so sensual, so sexy, I thought my panties were going to melt right into the floor.  My sex throbbed as our tongues explored each other and a soft moan escaped my lips when his hand slid up over my breast, gently pinching my nipple.

Lucas’s hands slid down my sides to the hem of my dress, slipped underneath, and slowly made their way up to my hips fingering the waistband of my panties.  His hand dipped between my legs sliding over my soaking wet panties, and my breath caught in my throat as my fingers dug into his muscular arms.

“Damn baby...”

Before I could say anything he slipped two fingers inside my panties rubbing my sensitive nub before sliding into my warm, wet, sacred place and I grabbed his shoulders and moaned as I pressed down to feel more, wanting him to go deeper.

“Ah, you like that, huh, kitty cat?”  His voice was a husky whisper.

“Please…” I could barely get the words out begging him to devour me.

“Please what?  What do you want, baby?”

“Please, Lucas…take me.”  My body was trembling as his fingers penetrated me with one hand and he slid his other hand under my dress up around my back, unhooking my bra and then to my breasts, mercilessly pinching my nipples.

He dipped his head down to whisper in my ear.

“All in good time.”

He dropped to his knees, sliding his hands up to my dress pushing it up above my waist.

“Take that off.”

My heart was banging against my chest and my mouth went dry as I quickly pulled my dress off over my head letting it fall in a crumpled heap at my feet.  The thought of Lucas’s tongue between my legs caused my body to tremble before he even touched me and I couldn’t wait to feel the first lick of his tongue.  His hands slid my panties down to the floor and I stepped out of them, holding his shoulders to keep me steady.  He looked up at me, his eyes obviously appreciating what they saw.
